NEW PROVIDENCE - Donald Fry, 81, of 113 Walnut Ave. in New Providence, died Jan. 1, 2005, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.
Arrangements are pending with the Biersborn Funeral Home in Union.

Goldie E. Gaston, 87
CONRAD - Goldie E. Gaston, 87, of Conrad, died Jan. 1, 2005, at Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center.
Funeral services are pending at Johnston Funeral Home in Conrad.

Richard Shaffer, 74
UNION - Richard Shaffer, 74, of 504 Davis Street in Union, died Jan. 1, 2005, at Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames.
Arrangements are pending with the Biersborn Funeral Home in Union.

Alan Dodd, 74
Alan Dodd, 74, of 1815 Wiese Garden Rd., died Jan. 12, 2006, at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Central Christian Church.
Internment will follow services in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday at Pursel Davis Funeral Home and Crematory, where the family will be present to greet friends. Memorials may be directed to the family for either Central Christian Church or Marshalltown (Noon) Kiwanis Club.
Alan is survived by his wife Juanita Dodd of Marshalltown; daughters Linda (Steven) Smith of Marshalltown, Karen (Bruce) McBride of Marshalltown and Diana (Alan) Raymon of Huxley; son Mike (Tracy) Dodd of Marshalltown; 10 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and sister Geraldine Miller of Seattle, Wash.

Clara Eash, 88,
Clara Eash, 88, of Villa del Sol, formerly of 1101 Jackson St., died Jan. 14, 2006, at Villa del Sol, where she has resided since Nov. 29, 2006.
Funeral services are pending at Mitchell Family Funeral Home.

Glen R. Cohenour, 69
Glen R. Cohenour, 69, of the Iowa Veterans Home, formerly of Clarence, died Jan. 14, 2006, at the Iowa Veterans Home.
Funeral services are pending at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence. The Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for local arrangements.

JoAnn Worsfold, 74
JoAnn Worsfold, 74, of Grandview Heights Care Center, formerly of 206 Nicholas Dr., died Jan.13, 2006, at Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center.
Following cremation at Pursel Davis Funeral Home and Crematory, a public gathering will be Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Pursel Davis Funeral Home and Crematory, where the family will be present to greet friends.
Private intermenty will take place in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the famly in JoAnn's name.
JoAnn is survived by her son William Worsfold and her daughter Joelle (Worsfold) Schewe, both of Marshalltown; three grandchildren; and sister Kay Warburton of Des Moines.

Mary E. Barker, 60
GILMAN - Mary E. Barker, 60, of Gilman, died Jan. 12, 2006, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Smith Funeral Home in Grinnell. Burial will be in Prairie View Cemetery in Gilman. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Gilman First Responders.
Mary is survived by two children Paulette Millang of Ames and Chad Barker of Reno, Nev.; one sister Linda Parmley of Gilman; four grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Margaret Cline, 81
Margaret Cline, 81, of the Shell Rock Health Care Center in Shell Rock, Iowa, died there Jan. 9, 2006.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Pursel Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will follow services at Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home where her family will be present to greet friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be directed in Margaret's name to her family. Margaret is survived by her daughter Linda Ruiter of Marshalltown; three sons, Jeff Cline of Hawkeye, Iowa, Jim (Carol) Cline of Berkeley Heights, N.J., Scott (Donna) Cline of Macon, Mo., and two daughters Nancy (Jim) Olsen of Cheyenne, Wyo., and Deb (Mark) Iserman of Waverly, Iowa; eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two brothers, William (Rachel) Crawley of Rock Hill, S.C., and Albert Crawley of Mountain City, Tenn.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roger and her brother Charles.

Sally Schrader
Sally Schrader, of Marshalltown, died Jan. 10, 2006 in Carmel, Ind.
Graveside services will be 9:30 a.m. Monday at Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev. Barry Holmes of the First Congregational Church officiating.
She is survived by her daughter, Jan (Jay) Shapiro; two grandsons; and four great grandchildren.

Charles F. Smith, 75
TAMA-Charles F. Smith, 75, of Tama, died Jan. 11, 2006 at Grandview Acres in Toledo.
Funeral Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama. Interment will be private at a future date at National Cemetery in Vining. Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama.
He is survived by his daughter, Deb (Kenneth) Behounek of Tama; two sons, Randy (Susan) Smith of Chelsea and Bradley (Patrice) Smith of Odessa, Texas; and two grandchildren.

Clarence Shepard, 63
Clarence Shepard, 63, of the Southridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, died there Jan. 11, 2006.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Center Street Baptist Church with Pastor Hirsch Chizever officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at Estel Perrin Avey Funeral Home Friday 5 to 9 p.m. with family present from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Cora Yetley, 102
Funeral services for Cora Yetley, 102, were held Wednesday afternoon at the Estel Perrin Avey Chapel, with Rev. Delmar Yetley officiating. Interment followed in the Green Mountain Cemetery.
Casket bearers were Harold Yetley, Russell Balmer, Alan Armbrecht, Dennis Balmer, Larry Armbrecht and Douglas Balmer.
Groups in attendance were from Grandview Heights and Green Mountain friends and neighbors.
