AMES - Ronald C. Beyer II, 59, a former Marshalltown resident, died April 26, 2006, at his home in Ames.
Funeral services are pending at Estel Perrin Avey Funeral Home, where friends may call for further information.

Leslie Krough Jr., 73
Leslie “Fred” Krough Jr., 73, of 1408 E. State St., died April 26, 2006, at his home under the care of Iowa River Hospice with his family at his side.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Estel Perrin Avey Chapel, with Pastor Bobby Shomo officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Following the services there will be a reception at the Moose Lodge. Friends may call at Estel Perrin Avey Funeral Home Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m., with the family present at this time. A memorial fund is being established.

Robert Capron, 83
Robert “Bob” Capron, 83, of Marshalltown, died April 26, 2006, at the Iowa Veterans Home Dack No. 2 Building where he has resided since March 2004.
Funeral services and a celebration of his life will be 11 a.m. Monday at Central Christian Church, with Pastor Gail Thiessen officiating. Flag folding honors will be conducted by Frank Lewis American Legion Post No. 46. Following cremation rites, burial will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Riverside Cemetery with full military honors by V.F.W. Harry C. Harter Post No. 839. Friends may call at Mitchell Family Funeral Home from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday. A Voiture 40 and 8 ceremony will be 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Randall T. Thompson, 92, a former resident of Villa del Sol Care Center, died April 26, 2006, at Israel Family Hospice House in Ames.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Grace United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Estel Perrin Avey Funeral Home Monday from 5 to 9 p.m., with his family present from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial gifts be directed to Grace United Methodist Church in Marshalltown, Youth & Shelter Services or Israel Family Hospice House in Ames.

Albert E. Ward Jr., 82
GILMAN - Albert E. Ward Jr., 82, of Gilman, died April 26, 2006, at Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown. Joint funeral services with his daughter Mary Ward will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at New Hope Christian Church in Marshalltown, with burial to follow in Prairie View Cemetery in Gilman. Friends may call for visitation from 12 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Pursel Davis Funeral Home and Crematory. A memorial fund has been established in his name.

Dorothy Buschbom, 78, of 1511 S. Fifth St., Marshalltown, died April 27, 2006, at Oakview Nursing Home in Conrad.
Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Elim Lutheran Church, with Pastor Karen Cluts officiating. She will be laid to rest in Prairieview Cemetery in Gilman. Friends may call at Mitchell Family Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday. Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Dorothy and her family.

Ronald C. Beyer II, 59, a former Marshalltown resident died April 26, 2006, at his home in Ames.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at St. Henry Catholic Church, with Fr. Louis Jaeger celebrating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens, with flag folding honors by Frank Lewis Glick Post of the American Legion. Friends may call at St. Henry Catholic Church Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m., with a scripture vigil service at 7 p.m. Estel Perrin Avey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

ELDORA - June King, 60, of Eldora, and formerly of Marshalltown and Iowa Falls, died April 27, 2006, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Church of the Open Bible in Iowa Falls, with Pastor Herb Kenyon officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Linn’s Funeral Homes’ Iowa Falls Chapel. Burial will be at the Union Cemetery in Iowa Falls.

Mary B. Ward, 49
GILMAN - Mary B. Ward, 49, of 309 E. Strait St., Gilman, died from complications of breast cancer on April 27, 2006, at Israel Family Hospice House in Ames, under the care of her family and hospice. The family wishes to thank the staff of Israel Family Hospice, Dr. Merchant and the staff of Bliss Cancer Center for the wonderful care Mary received.

Albert E. Ward Jr., 82
GILMAN - Albert E. (Al) Ward Jr., 82, lifelong resident of Gilman, died April 26, 2006, from complications of dementia at the Iowa Veterans Home. He had resided at the Iowa Veterans Home for the past year.
Joint funeral services with his daughter Mary B. Ward will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at New Hope Christian Church in Marshalltown. Interment will follow services at Prairieview Cemetery in Gilman. Visitation will be from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday at Pursel Davis Funeral Home and Crematory, where the family will be present from noon to 3 p.m. to greet friends. A memorial fund has been established in his name.

Donald Edler, 84
STATE CENTER - Donald Edler, 84, lifelong State Center resident, died April 28, 2006, at State Center Nursing and Rehab Center.
Funeral mass and a celebration of his life will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in State Center, with Fr. Rick Dagit officiating. He will be laid to rest in St. Joseph Cemetery, with full military honors by State Center American Legion Harlan Pfantz Post No. 122. Friends may call at the church from 5 to 7 p.m., with a 7 p.m. vigil service. Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown is caring for Donald and his family.

Colleen Kunkel, 79
Colleen Kunkel, 79, of 202 Olson Way, died April 29, 2006, at Grandview Heights Nursing Home where she has resided since September 2003.
Services are pending at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Alice E. Otto, 86, were held Saturday morning at Trinity Lutheran Church, with Pastor Gregg Davison officiating. Burial followed at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
Casket bearers were Grant Swanson, David Swanson, Dan Petrie, David Petrie, Steve Otto and Mark Otto.
Estel Perrin Avey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
