Eugene L. McGee
Eugene L. McGee, 85, of Yankton, S.D., formerly of Sioux City, died Wednesday, June 10, 1998, in Yankton of injuries suffered in an automobile accident.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Christy, Smith and Hockenberry Funeral Home, with the Rev. Martha Anderson, pastor of Rustin Avenue United Methodist Church in Sioux City, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 to 8:30 p.m. today, with the family present 7 to 8:30 p.m. and a Masonic service at 7 p.m. conducted by the Landmark Masonic Lodge 103 A.F. & A.M., all at the funeral home.
Mr. McGee was born Oct. 18, 1912, in Sioux City, the son of Frederick and Mabel (Foster) McGee. He was raised in Sioux City.
He married Wilma May Stark on April 20, 1933, in Sioux City. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the Pacific Theater. She died March 7, 1953, in Sioux City. He married Garnett E. Weiland on Nov. 5, 1955, in Luverne, Minn. She died Feb. 6, 1990, in Yankton.
He was employed as a cement mason with H.S. Holtz Construction Company for over 40 years. He moved to Yankton in the mid-1970s.
He attended Rustin Avenue United Methodist Church while living in Sioux City. He was a member of Cement Mason's Union, the Landmark Masonic Lodge 103 A.F. & A.M. and the Abu Bekr Shrine.
Survivors include two daughters, Donna Vandersall of Rockford, Ill. and Shirley and her husband Emil Girard of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; a sister and her husband, Lila and Forrest Blakely of Sioux City; nine grandchildren, Greg, Jim and David Girard, Jeffrey, Bruce and Tim Vandersall, Debbie Skubon, Mary Darago and Deanna Albertson; and 21 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Eva, Louise and Mary; and two brothers, Ernest and Vern.
Pallbearers will be Tim and Bruce Vandersall, Greg and David Girard, Doug Blakely and Chris Vakulskas.
Memorials may be directed to the Transportation Fund for the Shriners Hospital.

Francis B. Wadedo, 84, of Sioux City died Monday; Nelson-Berger Morningside Chapel.

Viola Maahs
CHARTER OAK, Iowa - Viola Maahs, 85, of Charter Oak died Saturday at a Sioux City hospital.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Charter Oak. Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3 p.m. today at the Huebner Funeral Home in Charter Oak.

Lena Schuck
SIBLEY, Iowa - Lena Schuck, 89, of Sibley died unexpectedly Sunday at the Osceola Community Hospital in Sibley.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Reformed Church in Sibley. Burial will be in Holman Township Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 to 9 p.m. today, with the family present 7 to 8:30 p.m., at the Walton, Roste and Vogel Funeral Home in Sibley.

Bonnie Fell
EVERLY, Iowa - Bonnie Fell, 63, of Everly died Sunday at a Sioux City hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Hope Lutheran Church in Everly. Burial will be in Lone Tree Cemetery. Warner Funeral Home of Spencer, Iowa, is in charge of the arrangements.

Elmer Selk
PETERSON, Iowa - Elmer Selk, 79, of Peterson, formerly of Linn Grove, Iowa, died Sunday at the Community Memorial Health Center in Hartley, Iowa.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at United Methodist Church in Peterson. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6:30 to 8 p.m., at the Warner Funeral Home in Peterson.

Alice J. Eppink
SIOUX CENTER, Iowa - Alice J. Eppink, 84, of Sioux Center died Thursday at a Holland, Mich., nursing home.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at First Reformed Church in Sioux Center. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the Vander Ploeg Chapel in Sioux Center.

Lois A. Sinns
SIOUX RAPIDS, Iowa - Lois A. Sinns, 79, of Sioux Rapids died Sunday at the Westmont Care Center in Logan, Iowa.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at First United Church in Sioux Rapids. Burial will be in Buena Vista Memorial Park Cemetery at Storm Lake, Iowa. Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m, at the Sliefert Funeral Home in Sioux Rapids.

Arthur G. Ortmann
BANCROFT, Neb. - Arthur G. Ortmann, 81, of Bancroft died Saturday at his residence.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Bancroft. Burial will be in Bancroft City Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 to 8 p.m. today at the Munderloh Funeral Home in Bancroft.

Carole VanKirk
BANCROFT, Neb. - Carole VanKirk, 53, of Bancroft died Sunday at her residence.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at First Presbyterian Church in Bancroft. Burial will be in Bancroft City Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Munderloh Funeral Home in Bancroft.

Marjorie M. Jones
VERMILLION, S.D. - Marjorie M. Jones, 54, of Vermillion died of Lou Gehrig's Disease Sunday, June 14, 1998, at the Sioux Valley Hospice Cottage in Sioux Falls, S.D.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Vermillion. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Wednesday, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m., at the Hansen Funeral Home in Vermillion.
Mrs. Jones was born Feb. 1, 1944, in Los Angeles, Calif., the daughter of Clifford and Helen (Dempster) Manley. She moved with her family to Vermillion, where she graduated from Vermillion High School in 1962. She graduated summa cum laude from South Dakota State University in 1966, majoring in home economics.
She married Allan R. Jones on July 1, 1967, in Vermillion. She taught high school in Colorado and kindergarten and first grade in Illinois. The couple moved to Vermillion in 1977. She opened Hooks and Hanks, a needle craft store, which she operated for 10 years. She was then employed as a supervisory field representative with the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Census, retiring in 1997.
She was a member of United Methodist Church and the P.E.O. Chapter BL.
Survivors include her husband; her parents of Vermillion; a son and his wife, Scott and Angie of Sioux City; a daughter and her husband, Susan and Dallas Schnack of Vermillion; a granddaughter, Sabrina Schnack; a new grandson (Schnack); two brothers, Myrl Manley of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Doug and his wife Gosia Manley of Island Lake, Ill.; and two nieces.
She was preceded in death by a stillborn son.

Charles W. Lefler, 75, of Vermillion, S.D. died Monday; Iverson-Siecke Funeral Home of Vermillion.

Bruce Brunick, 49, of Vermillion, S.D. died Monday; Iverson-Siecke Funeral Home of Vermillion, S.D.

Barbara N. Moss
Barbara N. Moss, 46, of Mesa, Ariz. died Tuesday, June 16, 1998, at a Phoenix, Ariz. hospital.
The body was cremated. There will be no services.
Survivors include her parents, Reno and Dolores Felicioni of Sioux City; her husband, Terry Moss; a daughter, Jennifer Moss; two sons, Daniel Lee and Randy Owen Johnson; a sister, Delia J. Brehm of Walker, Iowa; a brother, John A. Felicioni of Bozeman, Mont.; and three grandchildren.

James M. Huisenga
James Michael Huisenga, 26, of Columbia, Mo., formerly of Sioux City, died Sunday, June 14, 1998, at University Hospital in Columbia of injuries suffered in an automobile accident.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Grace United Methodist Church in Sioux City, with the Rev. William H. Steward officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Christy, Smith and Hockenberry Funeral Home of Sioux City is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Huisenga was born July 12, 1971, in Minneapolis, Minn., the son of James Allen and Sylvia Ann (Michaelsen) Huisenga. He had lived in Sioux City, Fort Bragg, N.C., Vicenza, Italy, Fort Campbell, Ky., Fort Belvoir, Va., Fort Riley, Kan., Stuttgart, Germany and in 1991 moved to Columbia.
He graduated from high school in Stuttgart and received his bachelor's degree from Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Mo. He was employed as the assistant manager of the Holiday Restaurant in Columbia.
He was a member of the Missouri National Guard.
Survivors include his parents of Dale City, Va.; a sister, Jaime Huisenga of Dale City; two brothers, Nicolas of Dale City and Charles A. of Kingsbay, Ga.; and many aunts and uncles.
Pallbearers will be Mark Michaelsen, Ken, Ben and Matt Secoske, Charles and Nicolas Huisenga.
