ST. ANTHONY - LeAnna Hill, 95, of St. Anthony, Idaho, died April 19, 2000, in the Rexburg Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at Bidwell Funeral Home in St. Anthony. Time of services is pending.

TETONIA - Roselyn Marie Murray, 34, of Tetonia, Idaho, died April 19, 2000, at her home of a lingering illness. Survivors include her husband, William "Bill" M. Murray of Tetonia.
Private family services will be Monday at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg. The family will meet with friends from 10 a.m. to noon at the funeral home.

BLACKFOOT - Nellie Margaret Truchot, 91, of Pocatello, died April 18, 2000, at Bannock Regional Medical Center in Pocatello.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Hawker, Hill and Sandberg Funeral Home in Blackfoot. The family will visit with friends from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, and again an hour prior to services on Friday. Burial will be in the Grove City Cemetery.

FIRTH - Gladys Oliver, 92, of Firth, died April 19, 2000, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.

SHELLEY - Bonnie L. Evans, 75, of Shelley, died April 17, 2000, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today, April 19, in the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nalder Funeral Home in Shelley.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Rulon V. Frandsen, 63, a resident of the Colorado Springs area for 37 years and formerly of Idaho Falls, died April 15, 2000, at Penrose Main Hospital.
He was born in Basalt, Idaho, to the late Lloyd Victor and Sarah Columbia Speas Frandsen. His wife is Norine Hawkins Frandsen.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the LDS 5th Ward, 301 Old Broadmoor Road. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, 1001 S. Hancock, under the direction of Nolan Funeral Home, 225 N. Weber; phone: 719-632-7608.

BLACKFOOT - Nellie Margaret Truchot, 91, of Pocatello, died April 18, 2000, at the Bannock Regional Medical Center in Pocatello.

BLACKFOOT - A.D. Leach, 79, of Blackfoot, died April 18, 2000, at the Bingham Memorial Hospital following an illness.
Funeral services will be at 6 tonight, April 19, at Hawker, Hill, Sandberg Funeral Home in Blackfoot. Visitation will continue after services until 9 p.m.

REXBURG - Dale E. Green, 70, of Rexburg, a former resident of San Jose, Calif., died April 23, 2000, of heart disease at the home of his sister in Moody.
He is a brother of Berniece G. Brown of Rexburg, Percia G. Baker of Moody, and Norma G. Brown of Macks Inn.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. today, April 25, at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg. Friends and family may visit today for one hour before services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Rexburg Cemetery.

REXBURG - Edward Rudolph "Rudy" Bissette, 54, of Rexburg, died April 22, 2000, at his home of an apparent heart attack.
He is the father of area residents, Edward George (Amy) Bissette and LeAndra Kay Hicks, both of Rigby. He is the son of Wanda Marie Bissette of Rexburg and the brother of James Kay (LaDawn) Bissette, and Sherry Marie Bissette, both of Rexburg.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg. Friends may visit Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home.

Vivian Pearson Varney, 91, a former Idaho Falls resident, died April 21, 2000, at Springer House Convalescence Center in Mountain View, Calif.
Funeral services will be at 12 noon Friday at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Ave. in Idaho Falls. The family will visit with friends Friday for one hour before services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park.

MACKAY - Hugh Henry Dorst, 77, of Mackay, died April 21, 2000, at Lost Rivers Living Center.

SALMON - Mary Laura Usher, 83, of Gibbonsville, who owned and operated the Broken Arrow Lodge in Gibbonsville from 1963 to 1973, died April 22, 2000, at the Discovery Care Centre in Salmon.
Her husband was the late Lester Usher; and her sons include area resident, Maurice (Bev) Usher of Gibbonsville.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Gibbonsville Cemetery with Bishop Rod Usher officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Salmon River Funeral Chapel in Salmon.

UCON - Thail Yvonne Leonard, 52, of Ucon, Idaho, died April 23, 2000, at her home of cancer.

BLACKFOOT - Daniel D. Thomas, 91, of Blackfoot, Idaho, died April 21, 2000, at the East Lake Care Center in Provo, Utah.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Thomas 4th Ward Chapel with Bishop Stephen Williams officiating. The family will meet with friends Tuesday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Hawker, Hill and Sandberg Funeral Home, Blackfoot, and Wednesday for one hour before services at the church.

Brenda Joy Garchow

Brenda Joy Garchow, 60, a resident of Idaho Falls since 1969 and well known travel agent for 16 years, died April 21, 2000, at University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City of cancer. Her husband and daughters were at her side.
She was born Dec. 24, 1939, in Taft, Calif., to R.T. and Luna Mae Wiley Moman. She attended elementary school and Phoenix Christian High School in Phoenix, Arizona.
On March 17, 1961, she married her husband of 39 years, Jim Garchow, at Mission Drive Baptist Church in Phoenix. They moved to Flagstaff, Ariz., in the fall of 1961 where they resided until they moved to Idaho Falls in 1969 to assume management of radio station KUPI. In 1985 she became a travel agent and for the last 12 years was affiliated with Murdock Travel of Idaho Falls. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Las Vegas, Chicago and to Phoenix to visit family.
Survivors include her husband, James Garchow of Idaho Falls; three daughters, Gina (Scott) Berger, Kelly (Jeff) Palmer, and Stacey (Rod) Mason, all of Idaho Falls; four granddaughters; one grandson; her parents, R. T. and Luna Mae Moman of Phoenix, Ariz.; and a brother, Tim (Jody) Moman of Phoenix. She was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25, 2000, at Wood Chapel of the Pines, with Pastor John Lovegrove of Bethany Baptist Church officiating. The family will meet with friends for one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.

OAHU, Hawaii - Don Falter, 21, of Oahu, Hawaii, a former resident of Pocatello and Montpelier, Idaho, died April 12, 2000, in Oahu from injuries received in a bomb blast while on an Army training maneuver.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Blackfoot Stake Center, Highland Drive, with Bishop Gordon Wankier officiating. The family will meet with friends Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Hawker, Hill and Sandberg Funeral Home, Blackfoot, and for one hour before services at the church. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. in the Norton Cemetery in McCammon, Idaho, with military honors by the Army. Arrangements are under the direction of Hawker, Hill and Sandberg Funeral Home in Shelley.

RIGBY - Arbella Smith McCandless, 87, a former resident of the Rigby area, died March 13, 1999, in Orofino, Idaho.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 10, in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery. The family will meet with friends following the services at the Presbyterian Church, 111 W. First North in Rigby. Arrangements are under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.

AMMON - Hazen Traveller Olsen, 86, of Ammon, Idaho, died April 7, 1999, at his home.

BLACKFOOT - Hannah K. Bates of Jackson, Texas, 5-year-old daughter of Tom and Teresa Bates, former Blackfoot residents, died April 7, 1999, at her home in Lake Jackson of health complications she had experienced since birth. She is the granddaughter of Tami and Gary VanOrden.

Pocatello - Bette S. Messmore, 77, Pocatello resident, died January 1, 2000 at the Pocatello Regional Medical Center following a cerebral hemorrhage.

Doris Cleverley, 73, of Idaho Falls, died Feb. 24, 2000, of natural causes at the home of her caregiver, Trudy Herrera , in Ammon.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Ririe- Shelton Cemetery in Ririe. The family will meet with friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at Coltrin Colonial Mortuary, 2100 First Street in Idaho Falls.

MACKAY - Flora Margaret Sax Pritchett, 89, of Mackay, died Feb. 25, 2000, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.

MORELAND - Pearl Ellen Moses, 78, of Moreland, died Feb. 24, 2000, at the Bingham Memorial Extended Care Center in Blackfoot of natural causes.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Blackfoot Northwest LDS Stake Center with Bishop Gary Moses conducting. The family will meet with friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Hawker, Hill, Sandberg Funeral Home in Blackfoot, and Monday for one hour before services at the church. Burial will be in the Groveland Cemetery.

Mildred C. Thiemann.

Mildred Chaffin Thiemann, 77, Pocatello, passed away at her son's home March 18, 1998. She was born to Lamond and Lenna Mary Rider Chaffin in Rose, Idaho, on December 21, 1920. Her memories of Rose included a very happy and loving family. She was the second of three girls. She spent her early childhood helping on her parents farm in Rose. She attended elementary school in Rose, Idaho, and high school in Blackfoot, Idaho. She attended college at Idaho State University, Ricks College and graduated from Brigham Young University.
She married Earl Raymond Thiemann on October 4, 1942, in Las Vegas, Nevada. They homesteaded a farm in Mud Lake and she taught at local schools. They later moved to Preston, Idaho, where they owned and operated the Johnson Hotel. In 1967, she moved to Pocatello, Idaho.
She retired in 1983 as a math teacher from Hawthorne Junior High in Pocatello, Idaho. She taught school for over 40 years teaching grades one through twelve. In her early professional years, she taught school in Hamer and Terreton. She later taught in Franklin, Idaho, and Preston, Idaho.
She belonged to the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, was a member of the LDS 26th and 22nd Wards. She enjoyed painting, gardening and sewing.
Her greatest and lasting contribution was being a positive influence in the lives of her children and grandchildren and her emphasis on education. Many previous students are grateful for the skills they learned in her classes and her ability to teach them.
She is survived by two daughters, DeeAnn Linford, Montpelier, Idaho, and Debra S. (Alan) Green, Pocatello; and two sons, Richard C. (Linda) Thiemann, Vernon, Texas, and William L. (Debby) Thiemann, Pocatello, Idaho; and a sister, Jean (Dean) Kofoed, Iona, Idaho; fifteen grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her father and mother; and sister, Leona Salisbury. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 23, 1998, at the LDS 22nd Ward at 550 W. Cedar, Bishop Al Lenon officiating. A viewing will be held from 7-9 p.m., Sunday, March 22, 1998, at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4th Ave., and at the church from 10:00-10:45 a.m. prior to services on Monday. Burial will follow in the Fielding Memorial Cemetery, Idaho Falls, Idaho.
