Velma H. Eckersley
Velma Hansen Eckersley, 91, of Idaho Falls, died Feb. 9, 1998, at Good Samaritan Nursing Center. She and her twin brother were born June 5, 1906, at Taylor, Idaho, to John C. and Alice Elizabeth Bateman Hansen, the youngest of 12 children. She grew up in Taylor and attended schools in Idaho Falls. On Oct. 23, 1927, she married Alonzo "Lon" Eckersley in Idaho Falls. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. She was a homemaker, mother, farm wife, and worked as a clerk at Walgreen's and Woolworth's stores. Her husband preceded her in death. An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served in the Primary and Relief Society. She also served as a Pink Lady in the Hospital Auxiliary program. She enjoyed crocheting, homemaking and camping. Her six children were the lights of her life. Survivors include her children, Delores (husband, Wes) Hudman of Shelley, Wallace (wife, Bernice) Eckersley of Fremont, Calif., Barbara (husband, Grant) Richards of Ammon, Jeraldene Gardner of Ogden, Utah, LaMont (wife, Sue) Eckersley of Clovis, Calif., and LaDene (husband, Max) Lyon of Idaho Falls; 26 grandchildren; 69 great-grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters, two grandsons, and a son-in-law, Jay Gardner. Funeral services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the Idaho Falls LDS Rose Park Ward, 351 W. 14th St., with Bishop John N. Hart III, officiating. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Ave. in Idaho Falls, and Monday for one hour before services at the church. Burial will be in Taylor Cemetery.

Laurence G. Summers
RIRIE - Laurence George Summers, 83, of Ririe, Idaho, died Feb. 11, 1998, at his home. He was born July 20, 1914, at Burton, Idaho, to George Waldron and Iva May Siepert Summers. He grew up and attended schools in Ririe, Antelope, Rigby and Ucon, Idaho. On Nov. 16, 1932, he married Rosa Edith Hunter in the Logan, Utah, LDS Temple. For most of his life, he farmed in the Ririe-Antelope area. He served on the board of directors of the Ririe Grain Growers for many years, and was on the board of directors of the Enterprise Canal. He enjoyed raising registered Hereford cattle for many years. His wife died in 1985. An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he served as a counselor in the bishopric, on the Ward Welfare Committee, as a missionary to the Western States Mission, and was honored by the Ririe Stake as being the longest serving High Priest. He was also active in the Boy Scouts of America. He was a charter member of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Posse. He loved his family and farming. Survivors include his daughter, Linda (husband, Richard) Davey of Ririe; three sons, Larry Summers and Jack Summers, both of Idaho Falls, and Kay "Skip" Summers of Bountiful, Utah; two sisters, Helen Jensen of Shelton, Idaho, and Alice (husband, Bill) Murdock of Idaho Falls; a brother, Ray Summers of Idaho Falls; 14 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Ben; a granddaughter, Natalie; two sisters; and two brothers. Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Ririe LDS Stake Center, 14061 N. 130 East, with Bishop Rod Bitsoi officiating. The family will visit with friends at the church Friday from 7 to 8:30 p.m., and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in Ririe-Shelton Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 W. Main St. in Rigby.

Jim Perham
James Arthur "Jim" Perham, 57, of Idaho Falls, died Feb. 10, 1998, at his home. He was born May 24, 1940, at Seaforth, Ontario, Canada, to O'Bannon and Olive Stoddart Parham. After his birth, the family moved to Ecorse, Mich., where he grew up and attended schools. From age 16, he worked at the Great Lakes Steel Co. and learned the pipefitting trade. He later worked for Kennecott Copper in Arizona, and EG&G and Westinghouse in Idaho Falls. He married Judith Ruth Landis and they had four children, Kelly Jo, Timothy James, Jeffrey Scott and Daniel Todd. They later divorced. He married Maxine Marie Barzee and, in his heart, adopted her daughter, Jackie Janean Grammar. They later divorced. He married Penny Beaman and although they divorced, they remained close friends. He enjoyed camping, fishing, dancing and cooking. His life was enriched by all of his friends on First Street. Survivors include his children, Kelly Jo Perham, Timothy James Perham, Jeffrey Scott Perham, and Daniel Todd Perham, all of Arizona, and Jackie Janean Perham of Pocatello, Idaho; a brother, William Jack Perham of Taylor, Mich.; and several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister. At his request, no funeral services will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Ave. in Idaho Falls.

Myrtle J. Rudd
ST. ANTHONY - Myrtle Johnston Welch Rudd, 95, a former resident of eastern Idaho, died Feb. 10, 1998, in Goshen, Utah. Funeral services are tentatively scheduled for Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Teton LDS Church with Bishop Kent Frisby of the Parker Ward officiating. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Teton-Newdale Cemetery. Local arrangements are under the direction of Bidwell Funeral Home in St. Anthony.

Debra Pack Green
Debra Kay Pack Green, 42, of Idaho Falls, died Feb. 11, 1998, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls. Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home in Idaho Falls with Pastor David Grasso of the Living Faith Christian Center officiating. Friends may visit at the funeral home one hour before services. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Alda E. Brown
REXBURG - Alda Esther Brown, 73, of Rexburg, died Feb. 9, 1998, at her home following a lingering illness. Funeral services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Rexburg 16th LDS Ward, 387 S. Fourth East. Friends may visit Friday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg, and Saturday from 9 to 9:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in Cache-Clawson Cemetery in Tetonia.

SAN JOSE, Calif. - Fred McGinty, 53, of San Jose, Calif., died Feb. 10, 1998, at his home. Funeral arrangements are pending at Buck-Miller-Hann Funeral Home in Idaho Falls.

Lillian Seedall
Lillian Seedall, of Idaho Falls, died Feb. 11, 1998, in Provo, Utah. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Idaho Falls 2nd LDS Ward, Ninth and Boulevard. Calvin Whatcott
REXBURG - Calvin Whatcott, 72, of Rexburg, died Feb. 11, 1998, at Rexburg. The family will visit with friends Friday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Rexburg LDS 12th Ward, 700 Park St. Funeral services will be Saturday at a time to be announced. Mervin Howard
ST. ANTHONY - Mervin Williams Howard, 72, a well-known educator, church leader, and lifelong resident of Chester, Idaho, died Feb. 4, 1998, at his home of Parkinson's disease. He was born Jan. 9, 1926, in Chester, to William Carloss and Gladys Williams Howard. He grew up in Chester, where he attended school through the eighth grade, and graduated from Sugar-Salem High School. He attended Ricks College and did his graduate work at Brigham Young University, where he received a master's degree in educational administration. He served an LDS Mission to the North Central States Mission. He served with the Army and was redrafted during the Korean War. While serving at Camp Roberts in California, he met his future wife. On June 23, 1951, he married Erna Dahl in the Mesa, Arizona LDS Temple. They lived in Southern California for a short time, but spent most of their married lives in Chester. For more than 30 years he taught school, mostly in Sugar City, where he served as principal of both the Central and Middle schools. An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, his service included being bishop of the Chester Ward for more than seven years, on the Ashton Stake High Council, as stake clerk, and as stake patriarch. An avid reader, he also enjoyed walking, gardening, and attending his children's sporting events. Survivors include his wife, Erna of Chester; 10 children, Rosemarie Howard of Springville, Utah, Ed (Brinda) Howard of Sugar City, Pauline (Ron) Albaugh, and Shirley (Scott) Robinson, both of Chester, Richard (Jodi) Howard of Rigby, Idaho, Ann (Jim) Dalley of Pocatello, Idaho, Alice Howard of St. Anthony, Miriam (Cris) Stevens of Layton, Utah, Gordon (Melinda) Howard of Shelley, and Brian (Kami) Howard of Provo, Utah; two brothers and two sisters, Grant (Bessie) Howard of Hibbard, Idaho, Blaine (Kathy) Howard of Sandy, Utah, Margaret (Rollin) Davis of Bennion, Utah, and Elizabeth (Bob) Powell of Sugar City; and 23 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Hugh Riley Howard. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Ashton LDS Stake Center with Bishop Stan LeCheminant officiating. Friends may visit Friday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Bidwell Funeral Home in St. Anthony, and Saturday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Chester Cemetery, where military rites will be performed by the St. Anthony Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion.

Orva Murdock Stewart
DRIGGS - Orva Murdock Stewart, 87, of Salt Lake City, a former resident of Victor, Idaho, died Feb. 3, 1998, at the Holladay Health Care Center in Salt Lake City. She was born Nov. 17, 1910, in Victor, to Albert and Ellen Lorene Berger Murdock. She grew up and attended schools in Victor. On Aug. 8, 1936, she married William A. Stewart in Pocatello, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. They owned the Cottage Food and Cottage Market stores in Pocatello for 29 years. In 1962 they moved to San Francisco, Calif., and after retirement, they moved to Driggs, Idaho. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and canned hundred of jars of fruits and vegetables. She was a beautiful lady who loved and enjoyed life to its fullest, loved people, and especially all of her family. Survivors include her husband, William of Salt Lake City; a son, Clark (wife, Myra) Stewart of Petaluma, Calif.; a daughter, Claudia (husband, Craig) Larsen of Salt Lake City; a sister, Venice Scarborough of Pocatello; two brothers, Norris (wife, Doris) Murdock of Inkom, Idaho, and Silvon (wife, Fay) Murdock of Driggs; 12 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Funeral services will be Saturday at noon at the Driggs LDS Stake Center with Bishop John Pehrson officiating. The family will visit with friends Saturday for one hour before services at the church. Burial will be in the Victor Cemetery under the direction of Valley Mortuary in Driggs.

Clifford B. Lloyd
Clifford B. Lloyd, 80, of Las Vegas, Nev., a retired school principal and longtime Idaho Falls resident, died Feb. 2, 1998, of heart failure in a Las Vegas hospital. He was born Feb. 20, 1917, in Albion, Idaho, to Harry Phillips and Stella B. Lloyd. He grew up and attended schools in Albion, and obtained a teaching certificate from Albion State Normal School. He graduated from Utah State University. On Dec. 9, 1937, he married Thurza L. Martindale at Burley. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. He began his career as a principal and teacher, and with his wife taught grades one through eight in a two-room schoolhouse in McDonaldville, Idaho. Over the years, he was a principal and teacher in Ririe, New Sweden and Rockford before moving back to Idaho Falls School District 91 in 1955. There he served as principal of Temple View, East Side, and Hawthorne elementary schools, and for his last 15 years was principal of Dora Erickson Elementary. He was a lifetime member of the Idaho Education Association and National Education Association. His wife preceded him in death. An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he served in various priesthood and Scouting positions. He enjoyed his family, his computer and golf. Survivors include his children, Clifford Phillip Lloyd, Marilyn Lloyd Adams, and Joanne Lloyd, all of Las Vegas, and Allen Brent Lloyd of Denver, Colo.; a sister, Florence L. Johnson of Randolph, Utah; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandson. He was preceded in death by two daughters, and all but one sibling. Funeral services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at the Idaho Falls LDS 16th Ward, Ninth Street and Boulevard, with Bishop Don Gerard officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Ave. in Idaho Falls, and Monday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

John A. Wanstrom
MOORE - John A. Wanstrom, 80, of Moore, Idaho, died Feb. 4, 1998, at Columbia Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls. She was born Dec. 14, 1917, at Moore, to Anton and Christine Henderson Wanstrom. His mother died when he was 3-year-old, and he spent his early life in orphanages and foster homes. In 1934, he moved to Moore, where he attended schools. He received his GED from the Butte County School System in 1965. During World War II, he served with the Army in Belgian, Germany, France and Switzerland, and attained the rank of corporal. On Jan. 10, 1942, he married Faye Guthridge in Boise, Idaho. In 1947 they moved to Lost River, where he farmed and began employment at Westinghouse Electric at the Idaho National Engineering Laboratory in 1956. He retired in 1981 and spent his latter years farming, hunting, fishing, attending church events, and family activities. He was a member of the Baptist Community Church. He was also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He enjoyed playing pinochle and pool at the Lost Rivers Senior Citizens Center, and watching his grandchildren play sports for Butte High School. Survivors include his wife, Faye of Moore; children, Tony Wanstrom of Hermiston, Ore., Rose Fleischmann of Idaho Falls, David Wanstrom of Moore, Valerie Carpenter of Twin Falls, Idaho, Dan Wanstrom of Moore, Carol Wanstrom of Boise, Idaho, and Holly Baker and John Wanstrom, both of Idaho Falls; 31 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. One sister, Esther, preceded him in death. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Baptist Community Church in Arco with Pastor Everest P. Zediker officiating. Friends may visit Friday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Marvel Memorial Chapel in Arco, and Saturday for one hour before services at the church. Burial will be in Pioneer Cemetery, near Moore. The family suggests donations to the Baptist Church Memorial Fund.

Robb W. Campbell
Memorial services for Robb Wendell Campbell, 42, who died Jan. 29, 1998, in a Boise hospital, will be today at 1 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 346 Elm St. in Idaho Falls. In his obituary in Thursday's paper, the day of the week was listed correctly, but the date listed did not coincide.

'Buck' Tweedy
BLACKFOOT - Graydon E. "Buck" Tweedy, 84, a longtime resident of Blackfoot, died Feb. 4, 1998, at the Idaho Veterans' Home in Pocatello. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Hill, Hawker and Sandberg Funeral Home in Blackfoot. The family will meet with friends Saturday for one hour before services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverside-Thomas Cemetery.

Matilda Warjack
FORT HALL - Matilda Warjack, 84, of Fort Hall, died Feb. 5, 1998, at Bannock Regional Geriatric Center in Pocatello. Funeral services will be Monday at 9 a.m. at the Takawitha Catholic Chapel in Fort Hall. The family will meet with friends at the family residence on East Sheepskin and Eagle Road beginning at 9 a.m. Sunday until time of services Monday. Burial will be in Grove City Cemetery.

David Anthony Thompson
David Anthony Thompson, 16, of Idaho Falls, died Jan. 29, 1998. He was born April 14, 1981, in Idaho Falls, to Michael Anthony and Sherry Lee Colby Thompson. As an infant, he moved with his parents to Sacramento, California, where they lived for 8 years before coming back to Idaho Falls. He attended school at Dora Erickson, Bonneville and Sandcreek Middle Schools, Hillcrest and Idaho Falls High School, where he was currently a sophomore. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He loved to draw, skateboard, snow board, music, and Hacky Sac. He was loving and giving, and always very helpful to his grandparents. He had a personality that endeared him to others. He is survived by his mother, Sherry Colby and Derek Snyder of Idaho Falls; his father and stepmother, Michael and Laura Thompson of Idaho Falls; a brother, Christopher Thompson of Idaho Falls; a stepbrother, Robert Clay of Idaho Falls; two stepsisters, Emily Clay, Davina Clay, both of Idaho Falls; grandparents, Charles Thompson of Tempe, Arizona, Joyce Thompson of Citrus Heights, California, Isaac and Ann Colby of Shelley, Marva and Dale Lang of Seattle, Washington, Floyd and Judy Beck of Idaho Falls, Ron and Ranite Snyder of Idaho Falls; great-grandparents, Marvin and Margaret Bills of Idaho Falls; aunts and uncles, Denis and Glen Colby of Idaho Falls, Debbie Wilkie of Shelley, Nathan, Aaron, and Hilary Beck of Idaho Falls, Jim Thompson, Bob Thompson and John Thompson, all of Sacramento California. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, 1998, at Coltrin Colonial Mortuary, 2100 First St., Idaho Falls. The family will visit with friends one hour prior to the services at the mortuary. Burial will be in the Goshen Cemetery.

Walter Eugene Driskell
Walter Eugene Driskell, 67, passed away Wednesday, February 4, 1998, at the Idaho Falls Care Center following a lingering illness. He was born July 14, 1930, at Upton, Wyoming, to Leo and Minnie Tallman Driskell. He grew up on his parents' ranch and attended country school through the eighth grade. He then attended high school in Upton and graduated in 1948. In high school he played basketball, football and was senior class president. In 1951 he enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He served in the Korean War with the Seabees. On December 16, 1956, he married Lorraine Reed at Upton, Wyoming. They were later divorced. He attended Chadron College in Chadron, Nebraska, and received a Bachelor's Degree in Physics. He attended graduate school at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, Nebraska. He moved to Idaho Falls in 1961 and went to work for Phillips Petroleum. He continued his education through University of Idaho night classes. He received his Master's Degree in Nuclear Engineering in 1967. In 1974 he went to work for Babcox and Wilcox in Lynchburg, Virginia. In 1978 he returned to Idaho Falls and worked for EG&G Idaho until his retirement in 1990. He enjoyed working in his yard and garden. He also enjoyed working on cars and restored a 1956 Ford just like the first car he owned. He enjoyed reading about the Civil War and visited many battlefields while living in Virginia. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his three daughters, Rhonda Gruver, and Rene and Matt Bourne of Idaho Falls, and Mona Driskell of Boise; his grandchildren, Jared and Chelsea Gruver, Brandon and Myles Bourne, and Shea Driskell; his sister, Annie and Gene Hudson of Upton, Wyoming; and twin sister, Wanda and Pat Nolan of Buffalo, Wyoming. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Ruth Cordingly. Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday, February 7, at 1 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, 237 N. Water St., with the Rev. Michael Eld officiating. The family will visit with friends one hour prior to services at the church. Services are under the direction of Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Ave. in Idaho Falls. Another memorial service will be held in Upton, Wyoming, at a later date. The family suggests that, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Good Samaritan Hospice in his name.

Mervin L. Swain
SANTA CLARA, Utah - Mervin L. Swain, age 90, died February 4, 1998, at his home in Santa Clara, Utah. He was born October 10, 1907, in Vernal, Utah, to Emanual and Alice E. Pearce Swain. He married Naomia Benson February 2, 1929, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Melvin was born and raised in Roosevelt, Utah, and was actively involved in sports as he was growing up. He had lived in the St. George area for the past 15 years. In the past, he worked at a cleaning plant in St. Anthony, Idaho, for five years; and for 27 years lived in Idaho Falls working for Westinghouse at the AEC Site. He was a member of the LDS Church. He served as a counselor in the bishopric, secretary and counselor in the MIA, counselor in the Sunday School, and a temple worker for two years. He is survived by his wife, Naomia; his son, Max B. Swain of Fairbanks, Alaska; his nephew and niece, Boyd and Lucille Benson; and many grand-nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly. He is preceded by his parents and all of his brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 7, 1998, 2:00 p.m. at the Metcalf Mortuary, 300 West St. George, Blvd., St. George, Utah, where friends may call, 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. prior to services. Interment will be in the St. George City Cemetery under the direction of Metcalf Mortuary, 673-4221.

Natalie Forsgren
FARMINGTON - Our dear sweet daughter, sister, granddaughter and friend, Natalie Forsgren, age 15, passed away after a short but courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, February 4, 1998, at her home in Farmington, Utah. At the time of her passing, she was surrounded by her loving family and friends. Natalie was born September 9, 1982, in Provo, Utah, to Kent B. and Amy Rammell Forsgren. On her first birthday she moved to Houston, Texas, with her parents and returned to Utah four years later. Her family later settled in Farmington, where Natalie went to Knowlton Elementary and Farmington Junior High. She had many friends and was loved and respected by all who associated with her. She was nice to everyone. She always tried to seek out and befriend those who sometimes didn't have many friends. Natalie was an active member of the LDS Church and in her Mia Maid class. She had the special ability to make everyone she came in contact with feel good about themselves. She was always concerned for others and their feelings. She loved her family and her family will always love her. Natalie is survived by her parents, Kent and Amy; brothers, Jared and Taylor; and sister, Emily, all of Farmington; grandparents, Clayter and Diane Forsgren and Merrill and Bobbi Rammell, Rexburg, Idaho; aunts, uncles and many cousins whom she loved dearly. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the many doctors and nurses at Primary Children's Hospital and Natalie's home care nurse, Linda Sorenson, and the many other people who loved and served their family for countless hours, days, weeks, and months, never tiring. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 7, 1998, 12:00 noon in the Farmington North Stake Center, 729 West Shephard Lane, Farmington, Utah. A viewing will be held Friday, February 6, 1998, 6-8 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, and Saturday at the church, 10:30-11:30 a.m. Interment, Farmington City Cemetery. Frank Mead
Frank Ray Mead, 75, of Idaho Falls, died Feb. 6, 1998, at Columbia Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center of a short illness. He was born Dec. 24, 1922, at Kimball, to John William and Lavenia May Walker Mead. He grew up in Idaho and attended schools here. He married Joan Moe and they were later divorced. On June 20, 1964, he married Sunny Mae Hendryx Welch at Vancouver, Wash. He did construction work at INEL for many years retiring in 1985. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II in the European Theater in Italy. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the V.F.W. and Eagles Lodge. He loved fishing. Survivors include his wife, Sunny Mead of Idaho Falls; four sons, Loren Paul (wife, Sue) Mead of Santa Rosa, Calif., Daniel Frank Mead of Ukiah, Calif., Bryan Andrew (wife, Kayleen) Mead of Novato, Calif., and Sidney Ray (wife, Marci) Mead Welch of Portland, Ore.; four daughters, Jeanne Catherine (husband, Chris) Moore of Santa Rosa, Donna Dyanne Welch (husband, Warren) Rand of Portland, Cari Beth (Maluma) Welch of Willits, Calif., and Terri Vee Welch (husband, Calvin) Cotterell of Salmon; a brother, Blakely Mead of Santa Rosa; three sisters, Naomi Mead Conforti of Baldy Mesa, Calif., Dolly Hope Mead Coleman of Golden, Colo., and Marlene Mead Dugger of Portland; 22 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Shirley Rae Mead Russell and three brothers. Memorial services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Ave. in Idaho Falls. The family will meet with friends for one hour before services at the funeral home. Veteran's rites will be performed by the Bonneville County Veteran's Team.
