Cecil Eugene Blue, 73, Burbank, WA
Cecil Eugene Blue, of Burbank, Wash. passed away Oct. 5, 2002 surrounded by his loving family at his home in Burbank. He was born to Charles and Gladys (Copher) Blue Feb. 8, 1929 in Twin Falls. He was raised in Orofino, attending school there. Cecil joined the Navy out of high school and served his country as a fireman in the Navy during World War II. He received the World War II Victory Medal. Cecil and his family lived in Lewiston for approximately 15 years before moving to the Tri-Cities area. He was a truck driver for the remainder of his working life. He worked for Flying "J" and ATI Trucking. He retired from ATI Trucking. His hobbies were his family, and more recently his great-grandchildren and gardening. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Anah (Crawford) Blue of Burbank; son Clinton Blue of Burbank; daughters Trudy Crane and Toni Blue, both of Pasco, Wash.; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A celebration of Cecil's life was held Oct. 11 at Columbia Memorial Chapel in Pasco.

Dorothy I. Helm, 81, Orofino
Dorothy Irene Helm of Orofino passed away Saturday, Oct. 19, 2002 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston. Dorothy was born May 26, 1921 in Kodiak, Alaska to Harry O. and Lillian White. She graduated from Anchorage High School in 1939 and at age 19 attended beauty school in Houston. She married Ted D. Fogg in Anchorage on Oct. 12, 1940. They had one child, and were later divorced. She was married twice more; one husband died in a logging accident, and the other died in Orofino in 1983. Dorothy was a homemaker most of her life, but also a waitress and a cook in Riggins and White Bird. She also worked for Mill End Fabrics in Lewiston and did child care in Orofino. Active in the Rebekah Lodge while in White Bird, she held many positions in her church and enjoyed teaching. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, James B. and Bobbie Cantrall; two daughters and sons-in-law, Pamella and Time Thornley and Judy and Harlan Prindle. She had eight grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Viewing will was held Thursday, Oct. 24 at Vassar-Rawls Funeral Home in Lewiston, followed by the funeral. Burial followed at Normal Hill Cemetery. Memorial donations are suggested to the Covenant House Christian Church in Orofino.

Helen (Kahl) Gilbert, 91, Orofino
Helen (Kahl) Gilbert passed away Sept. 25, 2002 in Spokane, WA at the home of her daughter. She was born in Stillwater, Minn., Oct. 6, 1910 to Henry and Carrie Kahl. She married Jack W. Gilbert in 1959. They lived in Minnesota and California before retiring in Orofino in 1979. Helen graduated from Lakeview Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Stillwater in 1934 as a registered nurse. She loved to cook, garden, and sew. She is survived by daughters Kasey (Bill) Daschbach of Bozeman, MT and Jane (Tom) Anderson of Spokane, WA; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She and her husband's lives will be celebrated in Stillwater, Minn. at a yet to be determined date.

Christina Tuominen, 91, former resident
Christina Irene Tuominen of Clarkston passed away Sept. 29, 2002 at Life Care Center in Lewiston. She was born to Albert Stamper and Ida Swenson Oct. 18, 1910 at Central Ridge above Peck. She attended school in Weiser, Tammarack and Orofino and received her General Education Development certificate. She married Arnold Matson in June, 1930. They were divorced in 1951. She married Villio Tuominen in June, 1955. Christina worked as a cook in Grangemont, at Band Mill and Porter's logging camps before attending a year of beauty college. She later opened a beauty shop in her home on Riverside and a dress shop called Chris Tuo's. She studied business management through correspondence courses and was a member of the Clarkston United Methodist Church. Survivors include her children, Helen L. Tank and Harold L. Matson, both of Clarkston; a sister, Myrtle Matson of Orofino; grandchildren Debi Deyo, Jim Tank, Linda Miller, Kathy Matson and Chris Walburn, all of Clarkston; Mike Matson of Spokane, and Nancy Matson of St. Maries; 21 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. The funeral was held Wednesday at Mountain View Funeral Home in Lewiston.

Glenn Crawford, 89
Glenn (Nick) Crawford, a longtime Orofino resident, died Friday, Sept. 27, 2002 at Clearwater Valley Hospital in Orofino. Graveside service was held Tuesday at Weseman Cemetery in Orofino. Merchant Funeral Home in Clarkston was in charge of arrangements.

Doris Grimm, 88, Kamiah
Doris Grimm died Monday, Sept. 30, at St. Mary's Hospital in Cottonwood. The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Assembly of God Church in Kamiah. Burial will follow at the Kamiah Cemetery. Trenary Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Raymond O. Albers, 82, Orofino
Raymond O. Albers died Sept. 29, 2003 at Lewiston. He was 82. Ray was born March 14, 1921 at Gilbert to Gustov Albers and May Brown Albers. He graduated from Nezperce High School in 1939 and married Margaret Braun Feb. 27, 1943 at St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Orofino. A farmer and rancher, Ray lived in the Gilbert area from the time of his birth until 1990, when he moved to the Riverside area of Orofino. In 2001 he moved to Brookside Landing at Orofino. Ray served two terms on the school board of the Nezperce School District during the 1960's. He enjoyed fishing and growing roses. One of his greatest pleasures was riding horses. Survivors include his wife Margaret at Brookside Landing in Orofino; two sons, Nick and Jean Albers, Orofino and Morrie Albers and Cindy Albers, both of Nezperce; a daughter, Donna and Keith Hyatt of Fruitland; a sister, Claire Shriver of Othello, Wash.; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great, great-grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, one sister, three sons and a grand-daughter. Funeral services were held Friday at Pine Hills Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Clarence Howard officiating. Burial followed at Lewis Clark Memorial Gardens in Lewiston. Memorials may be made to the Clearwater Youth Alliance or to the charity of your choice.

Mary L. Pittman, 85, Orofino homemaker
Mary L. Pittman, a retired Orofino homemaker, died Sept. 30, 2003 at Orofino. She was 85. Mary was born May 17, 1918 at St. Helens, Ore. to Percy Harrison and Ida Hupborn. She graduated from St. Helens High School. She married Claire Forsberg. This marriage later ended in divorce. She then married Jack Pittman, who preceded her in death. Mary worked as a cook at the Lumbermen's Hotel and as a cake decorator at Jean's Bakery. She was a member of the Methodist Church, Pythian Sisters, the Orofino Dance Club and the Garden Club. She loved traveling, dancing, staying at the beach and enjoyed visiting her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She worked on community projects and was always ready for fun. Mary's dream was to walk the Great Wall of China, which she did at age 80. At 82 she traveled to Mexico and at 84 she went to Alaska. She also loved gardening and metal detecting. She and her friend Morrie liked weekend drives to enjoy local town festivals and shopping. Survivors include her companion Morrie Snyder of Orofino; her son Vernon Forsberg of Ridgefield, Wash.; a daughter Kathleen Dynes of Woodland, Wash; 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Besides her husband Jack Pittman, she was preceded in death by a daughter Loleen Crook and a granddaughter, Brooke Scully. A memorial service was held Monday at Pine Hills Funeral Chapel. Rev. Clarence Howard officiated. Memorials in her name may be made to the organization or charity of your choice. Pine Hills Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.

Leo Thompson, Sr.
Leo Thompson Sr., Orofino resident, died Monday, October 6, 2003 at Clearwater Valley Hospital. He was 80. Cremation will take place and a private memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Pine Hills Funeral Chapel.

Richard S. Duty, 96, Orofino
Richard Sylvester (Dick) Duty, a longtime area resident, died Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2003 at Clearwater Valley Hospital in Orofino on his 96th birthday. Dick was born Sept. 2, 1907, in a log cabin in Jack's Canyon near Lenore to John Marshal and Susie Katherine Savage Duty. As a young man he worked on the family farm. He worked in the woods in the Clearwater region in the 1930's and moved to California in the late '30's, also working in the woods. During World War II he worked as a civilian truck driver on Mare Island near San Francisco. After the war he worked for Merced (Calif.) Irrigation until returning to Idaho in 1958. He then worked as a ranch hand in the Lenore, Craigmont and Walla Walla areas until he retired in 1969. When he retired he bought a house in Lewiston where he lived until the last couple of years, when he needed assistance. He never and was a member of the Warner Avenue Alliance Church in Lewiston. Survivors include a sister, Ellen Mowery of Orofino; and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service was held Saturday at Lewis-Clark Memorial Gardens in Lewiston. Arrangements were under the direction of Vassar-Rawls Funeral Home in Lewiston. Memorials are suggested to the Warner Avenue Alliance Church, 514 Warner Ave., Lewiston, ID 83501.

Helen B. Schwarz, 86, Orofino
Helen Barbara Schwarz died Thursday, Sept. 4, 2003 at Clearwater Valley Hospital after a valiant fight against cancer. Helen was born July 31, 1917 in Bemidji, Minn. to Jack Halverson and Mable Smith Halverson. She was the oldest of four children and ever the mother-caregiver to her sister and two brothers and for many family and friends throughout her life. Helen first came to Orofino in the 1930's, working at State Hospital North and with family at the Orofino Cafe. She and George Schwarz were married in 1951 and they lived many years at Johnson's Mill near Grangemont. They were with the C-PTPA in Elk River and Orofino during the '60s and '70s. Retirement provided the opportunity for Helen and George to further enjoy God's country. George died Aug. 15, 1991. Helen is survived by sister Marian Halpin of Seattle, brothers Robert Barwise of Minnesota and Bruce Barwise of Tacoma; nieces Gail Beam of Wisconsin and Kathy Hunt of Minnesota; nephews John Barwise of Blanchard, David Halpin of San Francisco, Dennis Halpin of Seattle; great-niece Maggie Halpin of San Diego, Calif.; great-nephews Shawn Halpin of Seattle, Ko Maruyama of Glendale, Calif. and Dr. Gen Maruyama of San Clemente, Calif. She will be dearly missed by her "special kids" Winnie and Ray Spoon; a large church family; numerous nieces and nephews of her late husband George; many cousins and scores of friends. A memorial service was held Monday at the First Baptist Church. Services were officiated by Rev. Hale Anderson and attended by a near churchfull of family and friends. Interment followed at Orofino Riverside Cemetery. Timothy Max Musiel, 53, Orofino native
Timothy Max Musiel, an Orofino native and businessman, died early Monday morning Sept. 8, 2003 at Clearwater Valley Hospital in Orofino. He was born Sept. 24, 1949 in Orofino to Charles W. and Maxine Bryant Musiel. Tim graduated from Orofino High School in 1967 and attended the University of Idaho, where he was a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity. He lived in Hawaii for about 20 years, where he worked in the restaurant and bar industry. He owned several businesses over the year in Hawaii, Troy and Orofino. Most recently, Tim had built the Orofino Yacht Club, and upscale and custom designed club in the heart of downtown Orofino. Tim is survived by his two brothers, Joe and wife Joie Musiel of Clarkston, WA and Bert Musiel of Deary. There will be a celebration of Tim's life with a potluck at the Orofino Yacht Club at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20. Everyone is invited to attend and share tales of Tim's life with his family and friends. Donations can be made to Clearwater Valley Hospital, 301 Cedar, Orofino, ID 83544.

Daniel Brian Campbell, 49, Lenore
Daniel Brian Campbell of Lenore, Idaho, drowned August 23, 2003, in Sandpoint, Idaho. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 13th, at 1:00 PM, at LaBaron Park on Cavendish Hwy. Full obituary next week.

Jeanne Graves Nichols, formerly of Kooskia, died Saturday, Sept. 6, 2003 at her home in Lewiston. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 13 at 10 a.m. at Mountain View Funeral Chapel in Lewiston. Burial will be at Pine Grove Cemetery at 2 p.m. Saturday in Kooskia. Floyd D. Fister of Kooskia, died Sept. 2, 2003 in Lewiston at the Idaho State Veteran's Home. A memorial service was held Saturday, Sept. 6 at Trenary Funeral Home in Kooskia.

Trevor Charles Haag, 12, Orofino
Trevor Charles Haag, 12, of Orofino died Saturday, Sept. 20, 2003 while participating in a motorcycle race at the Extreme Motocross Track in Kamiah. Cause of death is unknown at this time. Trevor was born April 26, 1991 in Orofino to Tracy and Annette Adams Haag. He grew up in Orofino, attending Orofino Methodist Pre-school, and Orofino Elementary School from Kindergarten through sixth grade. He had just begun his years at Orofino Junior High School. He loved school, but only because it allowed him to participate in sports and spend time with friends. He was vivacious, emotional and passionate about life. He hated being indoors. He preferred spending time in sports (all sports). He played baseball, basketball and football. He often tried bowling and golf, though he really didn't care for them. He once even tried soccer (but don't let his football friends know!) Trevor loved snowmobiling and snowboarding, and even just riding bikes around with all his friends. He recently got his hunting license and was looking forward to his first season. Trevor's favorite sport, though, was riding motorcycles. He is survived by his parents, Tracy and Annette Haag of Orofino; an older brother Justin Haag, Orofino; his grandparents, Tim and Carol Adams and Charles and Linda Haag, all of Orofino; his great-grandparents and many aunts, uncles, cousins and many well-loved friends. Viewing will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25 at Pine Hills Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26 at the National Guard Armory. His uncle, Steve Duren of Weiser, will officiate. Burial will be at Weseman Cemetery, with a reception following at the Armory. An account has been set up in his name at AmericanWest Bank, P.O. Edward Ray Clark, 54, Orofino native
Edward Ray Clark, 54, of Sweetwater, died of cancer Sept. 15, 2003 in a Redding, Calif. hospital. Ed's passing was sudden, but he wanted to see his family on the West side so he asked to be taken there a few weeks ago and that is where he died. He was born in Orofino March 29, 1949 and attended schools in Weippe. He grew up helping his father in the saw and cedar mill in Weippe and logged most of his life. He moved to Parma and worked at Tamara's Potato Shed for four years. He lived at Sweetwater the last six years, working as a logger and then as a security guard. He served his country in the Army from 1969 to 1972 during the Vietnam War and received the Bronze Star and several other medals. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Clark. They were happily married for 21 years. Also surviving him are his daughters, Valerie and husband Daniel Alexander of Lapwai and Christina and husband Dan McMillan of McMinnville, Ore.; son Bill and wife Terry Sharp of Weaverville, Calif; his mother, Betty Clark Snyder of Caldwell; brother Dwain Clark; sisters Laverne Bodeen, Donna Jacobson and Rhonda White; 12 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Onis Clark and a brother, Coy Clark. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26 at the McDonald-Files Funeral Home in Weaverville, Calif. Charles Omar Field, 92, Orofino
Charles Field, a retired millworker and resident of the Lewiston Veteran's Home, died Sept. 20, 2003 at Tri State Hospital in Clarkston, Wash. He was 92. Charles was born Nov. 12, 1910 in Bartlett, Iowa. He attended school through the eighth grade and until age 25, farmed with his father in Iowa. He then relocated to the Northwest, moving to Orofino when he was 27 where he worked for the railroad. In 1941 he married June Patterson. She preceded him in death May 23, 1993. Charles entered active service in the Army in 1943, serving in the European Theater of World War II. Upon discharge, he returned to Orofino, working at various occupations and retiring from Konkolville Lumber Co. in 1979. He was a lifelong member of the VFW and the American Legion. Survivors include two daughters, Judy and Gary Foust of Colton, Wash. and Sharon and Jack Stone of Pullman, Wash.; a son, Dick and Bonnie Field of Orofino; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Besides his wife June of 52 years, he was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Anna Field and his 12 brothers and sisters. Funeral services were held Wednesday at Pine Hills Funeral Chapel. Rev. Paul Cross officiated. Burial followed at Weseman Cemetery. Nadine Darvell, 73, longtime area resident
Longtime Weippe/Fraser resident Nadine Darvell passed away Friday, Sept. 19, 2003 at her home in Lewiston. She was 73. Nadine was born Oct. 5, 1929 at Juliaetta to Elbert and Beulah Gage Bird. The family moved to the Fraser area in 1937. She attended Cottonwood School through the eighth grade. In 1943 she moved to Centralia, Wash., where she graduated from high school in 1947. She attended Telegraphy school at Santa Cruz, Calif. She then worked at Moscow and Longview, Wash., where she met Donald Darvell. They were married at Kelso, Wash. in 1949. In 1952 the couple moved to the Fraser area, where they farmed until Don's death in 1991. She remained on the farm until ill health forced her to move in 2002. Nadine was a member of the Fraser Grange, Fraser Ladies Club, Extension Club and the Hilltop Senior Citizens. She was also a 4-H leader for many years. She is survived by one son, Jerry of Freeland, PA; five grandchildren; one great grand-son and a brother, Jack E. Bird of Fraser. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a son Larry, a brother Earl Bird and her parents. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 25 at the Weippe Cemetery.

Sister Augustine (Elsie) Uhlenkott, 98
Sister Augustine (Elsie) Uhlenkott, OSB, died at the Monastery of St. Gertrude in Cottonwood, ID Aug. 27, 2002. She was born in Cottonwood to Joseph and Amalia Frei Uhlenkott Oct. 23, 1903. She made her Monastic Profession as a Benedictine Sister at the Monastery of St. Gertrude on Aug. 15, 1921. She earned her degree in education from Lewiston Normal School at Mt. St. Scholastica College in Atchison, KS and a Masters in music at the University of Idaho. She taught in various parochial schools throughtout Idaho, and served as Prioress of the Monastery of St. Gertrude from 1955 to 1967. Among her accomplishments during this time was the building of St. Mary's Hospital in Cottonwood. She taught music in Boise from 1971 to 1987, and after retiring spent much of her time in prayer for the community and the needs of the world. She is survived by her brother, Alphonse, of Cottonwood, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Memorials may be made to the Monastery of St. Gertrude, HC3 Box 121, Cottonwood, ID 83522-9408.

Gladys (Pete) McIntire, 86
A memorial service was held Thursday, Sept. 5, 2002 in Lewiston for a former Weippe resident, Gladys M. (Pete) McIntire, who died Monday, Sept. 2, 2002 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston. She was born Jan. 11, 1916 in Kamiah to James and Mary Raines. She met her husband, Lester B. (Dutch) McIntire in Weippe and they were married March 3, 1934 in Lewiston. They resided in Weippe until 1942, then moved to California. They returned to Lewiston in 1945. Dutch died in 1987. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Carole and Bob Webster of Lewiston; a brother, Carl, of Lewiston; two grandsons; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandaughter.

Ruth L. Altmiller, 91, Montana
Ruth Louise (Liedkie) Altmiller passed away Oct. 2, 2004 in Plains, Mont. She was 91. Ruth was born to Ernest and Phoebe Liedkie on Aug. 11, 1913 in Caribel, ID. She lived most of her life in the Kamiah-Orofino area, with the exception of the last one and a half years that she was being cared for by her oldest daughter, Darla Alteneder in Paradise, Mont. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Altmiller. She is survived by four children, Leroy Altmiller of Lewiston, Darla Alteneder and Robert Altmiller of Paradise, Mont. and Sharon Walk of Elk River; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister, Marjorie Altmiller of Orofino and two brothers, Carl Liedkie of Lewiston and Lavern Liedkie of Elk River. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 7. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery. A potluck dinner will follow the services. Pine Hills Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Robert Jones, 66
Robert L. Jones of Cyril, Okla., an Orofino native, died Sept. 28, 2004 in Oklahoma City. He was 66. The funeral was held in the Celestial Gardens Cemetery in Cyril. Arrangements were under the direction of Becker Funeral Home in Fletcher, Okla.

Mitchell L. Williams, 47, Richland
Mitchell L. Williams, Richland, Wash., passed away Sept. 29, 2004. He was 47. Mitchell was born May 4, 1957 in Orofino to Jack and Doris (White) Williams. His greatest enjoyment in life was attending his son's sporting events, which included baseball, basketball, football and skateboarding. Mitchell was an avid baseball fan, his favorite team being the Chicago Cubs. He attended school in Orofino, graduating in 1976. His fondest memories of growing up in Orofino were hunting, fishing and playing sports. After high school, he worked at the Jaype Mill, then moved to Wyoming, eventually moving to Anchorage, Alas. He relocated to the Tri-Cities in 1998 and was employed by Tyson Foods at the time of his death. He is survived by his son, Ryan Williams, 13; and mother Doris Williams, both of Richland; brother Jay Williams of Anchorage, sister and brother-in-law, Jacci and Ed Wallace of Kennewick; niece Amie Williams; and nephews Jamie and Jackie Williams. Mitchell has an extended family of many uncles, aunts and cousins. Mitchell was preceded in death by his father Jack Williams; and his grandparents, Jack and Hazel Williams and Jess and Mildred White. The family has requested that donations be made in Mitchell's memory to his minor child, Ryan Williams at any U.S. Bank or Bank of America. Services were held Monday at Pine Hills Funeral Chapel in Orofino.

Fay White, 73, former Weippe resident
Fay White, Lewiston, and former Weippe resident passed away Oct. 8, 2004. She was 73. Fay was born Jan. 31, 1931 in Orofino to Bert and Theda Heywood. The seventh of eight children, Fay grew up on the Heywood ranch east of Weippe. She attended Weippe schools all 12 years, graduating in 1949. She excelled in basketball in high school, earning a reputation as an enforcer on the court. After high school, she attended beautycollege in Wenatchee, Wash., then worked at Amy's in Lewiston. Fay married Ed White in 1951 and the couple lived in Weippe, where she owned and operated Fay's Beauty Shop in her home for 40 years. She was known for her perms and fast haircutting skills, having customers come to her from all around to do their hair. Becoming ill in 1990 with emphysema, Fay had a lung transplant in 1994 at UCSD Medical Center in San Diego, Calif. She and Ed moved to Lewiston in 1998, where she lived until her death. Fay was a member of the Weippe Seventh-day Adventist Church. Those who knew Fay will remember her for giving unselfishly to her family and friends. She will be especially missed by her husband and children who are thankful for the unconditional love and guidance she provided. Survivors include her husband Ed of Lewiston; two sons, Steve and Denise White of Arlington, Wash. and Ed White Jr. and wife Laurie of Twin Falls; daughters Judy Burns and husband Steve of Clarkston and Jan Chapman and husband Jeff of Lewiston; two brothers, Jim Heywood and Les Heywood, and sister Lucille Smith, all of Weippe; and 12 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers George, Harry and Clyde Heywood; sister Betty Gibbar and grandson Casey Burns. A celebration of Fay's life was held Tuesday at the Weippe Community Hall. Arrangements were under the direction of Merchant Funeral Home in Clarkston. Memorials may be made to the Northwest Children's Home in Lewiston or to the Weippe Community Hall, P.O. Box 351, Weippe, ID 83553.

Dorothy Ann Scott, 74, Weippe
Dorothy Ann Scott of Weippe died Oct. 9, 2004 at Clearwater Valley Hospital in Orofino. She was 74. Dorothy was born June 20, 1930 in Jane, Missouri to Fred and Mildred Griffith Stout. She received her education at White Rock School in Jane, MO. She married Hollis Scott, Oct. 12, 1988. Dorothy moved to Weippe from Emmett after the death of her husband, March 28, 2004. She devoted her life to her family as a homemaker. She was a member of the Weippe Wesleyan Church and the Hilltop Seniors. Surviving her are two daughters, Pat Kingen and Ginger Morris of Weippe; a son, Rick Largent of Georgia; two sisters, Jean Pratt of Boise and Betty Holski of Baton Rouge, LA.; 17 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, one brother and one great-grandson. Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 17 at the Weippe Wesleyan Church. Pine Hills Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Donald Parker, 53
Donald "Bill" Franklin Parker, Orofino, died Oct. 9, 2004 at Clearwater Valley Hospital. He was 53. Arrangements are under the direction of Pine Hills Funeral Chapel.

Kenneth Hendricks
Kenneth L. Hendricks, 61, died Oct. 7, 2004 at his home in Lenore. He is survived by his two sons, Michael and Kenny and their families. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
