Mary Ann Muehlfelt

Mary Ann (Brummel) Muehlfelt, 67, of Wheaton passed away suddenly Thursday, Dec. 30, 2004, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield. She was born Jan. 31, 1937, in Naperville.

She was the beloved wife of Ron Muehlfelt and the late John C. Selmarten; loving mother of Don (wife Keri) Selmarten, John (wife Dee) Selmarten, Gary (wife Fiona) Muehlfelt and Mark Muehlfelt; cherished grandmother of nine; fond sister of Joe (wife Diane) Brummel and the late Fr. James Brummel; devoted daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Brummel; and dear aunt to many.

Visitation was held from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 3, at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosevelt Road, Wheaton.

A funeral service will begin at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4, at the funeral home before a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian burial at St. Mark's Church, Wheaton.

Entombment will be at Assumption cemetery, Wheaton.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to St. Michael Church Building Fund, 111 N. West St., Wheaton, IL 60187.

Sandra S. Hagemann

Sandra S. Hagemann, 63, of Lemont died Monday, Dec. 20, 2004, at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove. She was born Jan. 29, 1941, in Chicago.

Mrs. Hagemann was employed with SBC Ameritech and retired in 1995 after 23 years with the company. She raised bench champion Weimaraner show dogs and was a member of the Weimaraner Club of Northern Illinois and the Weimaraner Club of North America. She also participated in AKC field trials for Weimaraner hunting dogs.

She is survived by her husband, Robert B. Hagemann of Lemont; a son, Charles Gary of Moore, Ala.; a stepson, Michael Hagemann of Naperville; a stepdaughter, Lisa (husband Randy) Olah of Oswego; a brother, Charles Johnson, and a niece, Rebecca Johnson, both of Dallas; and a granddaughter, Cidney Olah of Oswego.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Alice (Palin) Johnson.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 27, at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home, 516 S. Washington St., Naperville. A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m.

Interment will take place at Naperville cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Diabetes Association, 30 N. Michigan Ave., Suite 2015, Chicago, IL 60602.

Christopher J. 'Buck' Bourgoine

Christopher J. "Buck" Bourgoine, 26, of Naperville passed away suddenly Friday, Dec. 10, 2004.

He was employed by Gaffney PMI as a heavy-equipment operator for Local #196. He enjoyed going to the drag strip, riding his motorcycle, playing with his son, nicknamed "Bubby," and spending weekends with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Misty; his son, Korte Ashton; his mother, Sandra (husband Mark Warner) Bourgoine; two brothers, Mike (wife Crystal) Bourgoine and Tim (wife Jamie) Bourgoine; a sister, Stacy (husband Adrian) Caballero; eight nieces and nephews, Nate, Brett, Justin, Cameron, Alyssa, Anjelle, Taylor and Jaydon; grandparents, John and Janice Hickman, his mother-in-law, Kory Keller; a sister-in-law, Jaclyn Miller; and many aunts, uncles, friends and family.

Visitation will be at 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 13, at Dieterle Memorial Home, at 1120 S. Route 25 in Montgomery. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 14, at the memorial home with the Rev. Bob Kasperson officiating. Burial will follow at Lincoln Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be directed to Misty and Korte Bourgoine.

Mark Allen Motulewicz

Mark Allen Motulewicz, 55, a resident of Naperville since 1992 and formerly of Wonder Lake and Rock Springs, Wyo., died Thursday, Dec. 16, 2004, at his home after a yearlong battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born Sept. 16, 1949, in Chicago.

He was the beloved husband of Susan M. (Zelenka) Motulewicz of Naperville, whom he married Aug. 6, 1994; caring stepfather of Brian and Michael Van Dyke, both of Naperville; devoted son of Jeanne (Trzesniewski) Motulewicz of Wonder Lake and the late Edward J. Motulewicz; loving brother of Wayne (wife Jan) Motulewicz of Wonder Lake and Joyce (husband Jack) Yegge of State Center, Iowa; and dear uncle of many nieces and nephews.

He grew up in Wonder Lake, was a 1967 graduate of Marian Central Catholic High School and served in the U.S. Air Force from 1969 to 1973, during the Vietnam War. He lived in Colorado and later Rock Springs, Wyo., where he attended Western Wyoming Community College, receiving his associate degree in radiologic technology. Over the years, he was employed by various medical practices as a radiology technician and physician's assistant. He also had a contractor's license and did home renovations and remodeling, most recently working for Conway Central Express, a trucking firm. He enjoyed golf, road trips, carpentry and the outdoors.

Visitation will take place from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 19, at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville.

Visitation also will take place from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 20, at Knox Presbyterian Church, 1105 Catalpa Lane, Naperville. Funeral services will follow at 10 a.m. at the church, with the Rev. Cindy Karis officiating.

There will be a private interment.

Donald J. Brown

Donald J. Brown, 76, a 40-year resident of Naperville, died recently.

He was the beloved husband of Ewa and the late Shirley Anna (Kaht). He was a loving father to Brenda (husband Robert) Pignataro, Donna (husband Frederico) Becerra, Laura Perry and the late Ralph "Skip" Brown. He was stepfather to Agnes (husband Robert) Ackerman. He was grandfather to nine and great-grandfather to four.

Visitation will take place from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 2, at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, at 430 E. Roosevelt Road in Wheaton, one block east of Naperville Road. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 3, at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home.

Inurnment will be at Mount Emblem cemetery.

John Richard Kuntz

John Richard Kuntz, 36, a Naperville resident since 1974, died Thursday, Dec. 30, 2004, at Edward Hospital in Naperville. He was born March 27, 1968, in Chicago.

He attended Wheatland Grade School in Naperville and was a 1986 graduate of Waubonsie Valley High School in Aurora. He was a member of the Naperville Church of the Brethren. He loved cars, listening to music and watching movies.

He is survived by his parents, Robert L. and Nancy J. (Bryant) Kuntz of Naperville; one brother, Mark Kuntz of Naperville; one sister, Susan (husband Chris) Priz of Naperville; and five nieces and nephews, Alexandra and Morgan Kuntz, and Jeffrey, Jennifer and Mary Priz.

Visitation will take place from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 2, at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St. in Naperville. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 3, at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home. The Rev. Dennis Webb will officiate.

Interment will be at Naperville cemetery in Naperville.

Dorothy J. 'Dottie' Pennington

Dorothy J. "Dottie" (Stanley) Pennington, 93, a lifelong resident of La Grange, died Sunday, Dec. 12, 2004, at Naperville's Sunrise Assisted Living.

She is survived by her children, Kathleen Pennington, Charles E. II (wife Sue) Pennington, Ruth Ann (husband Robert) Allison, and Richard L. (wife Mary McCarthy) Pennington; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis.

Visitation will take place from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 16, at Grace United Methodist Church, 300 E. Gartner Road, Naperville.

Interment will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park in Downers Grove Township.

Paul L. Timmerberg, 73, of Downers Grove died Monday, Dec. 13, 2004, at Fairview Baptist Home in Downers Grove. He was born April 8, 1931, in St. Louis. Toon Funeral Home in Downers Grove is handling arrangements. Call (630) 968-0408.

Florence A. Agostinelli

Florence A. Agostinelli, 74, of Naperville died Monday, Dec. 20, 2004, at Edward Hospital in Naperville. She was born Dec. 22, 1929, in Chicago.

She volunteered as a library assistant at St. Mary's School in West Chicago and as a teacher aide at SS Peter and Paul School in Naperville. She was an honorary fire person at Naperville Fire Station 1.

She is survived by her children, Laura (husband Jim) Rynes of South Elgin, Richard A. (wife Pat) Agostinelli of Naperville and Dawn (husband Tony) Medina of West Chicago; four grandchildren, Jose and Kate Agostinelli and Jessica and Maria Medina; and numerous other children who called her "Grandma."

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard J. Agostinelli, and her parents, Anthony and Angeline Angelilli.

Visitation will take place from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 22, at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville.

Funeral services will begin at 9 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 23, at the funeral home and proceed to SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 36 N. Ellsworth St., Naperville, for a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial.

Interment will take place at SS Peter and Paul cemetery in Naperville.

Linda S. Malley

Linda Susan (Rasmusson) Malley, 54, a resident of Naperville since 1992, formerly of Bloomington, Decatur and Bolingbrook, died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2005, at Edward Hospital. She was born June 20, 1950, in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Mrs. Malley grew up in Salt Lake City, was a member of the class of 1968 at Olympus High School and graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, with a bachelor's degree in English literature. A homemaker for many years, Mrs. Malley taught school and worked for her husband's business before starting her family. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving on a church mission from 1974 to 1976 in Frankfort, Germany, and at the LDS Swiss Temple in Zollikofen, Switzerland. She also served in various LDS positions within many church women's organizations. She was known for her great sense of humor and her concern with helping others.

She is survived by her husband, Mark Robert Malley of Naperville, whom she married Feb. 11, 1977; two children, Seth David (wife Reyna) Malley of Dover, Del., and Amy Marie Malley of Naperville; her mother, Deloris (Barker) Rasmusson of Salt Lake City; three siblings, Marilyn (husband Steve) Avery, Cheryl Rasmusson and David Rasmusson, all of Salt Lake City; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Mont Rasmusson.

Visitation will take place from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 28, at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville. Additional visitation will be held from 1 to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, in the Relief Society Room at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1411 95th St., Naperville.

Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. in the church.

Interment will take place at Naperville cemetery.

Sheryl L. 'Sheri' Mallard

Sheryl Lynn "Sheri" (Sims) Mallard of Plainfield was born into eternal life on Friday, Feb. 4, 2005, at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago at age 35. She was born into life on June 25, 1969, in Elmhurst and grew up in Naperville.

Sheri was a 1987 graduate of Naperville Central High School, where she played on the volleyball team. She attended the University of Iowa and was a member of the Delta Gamma sorority. She graduated in 1991 with a bachelor's degree in communications. She joined Tastefully Simple in 1998 and worked as a team mentor. She was an active member of Grace United Methodist Church in Naperville and served as a Sunday school teacher for many years.

Married to her high school sweetheart, Geoffrey Mallard, in 1994, they have three young sons, Jacob, Austin and Luke. Sheri will be remembered as a loving and dedicated mother who was active in her children's school and sporting activities. Her family and countless friends knew Sheri as a person of great generosity and grace with a strong belief in God.

Her beloved family includes her parents, Lawrence and Dorothy Sims of Naperville; a sister, Kimberly (Robert) Fyock of Plainfield; a brother, Larry (Julie) Sims of Naperville; mother- and father-in-law, Gary and Carolyn Mallard; two sisters-in-law, Gennifer Mallard and Cassie (Leland) Griffin, all of Nashville, Tenn.; and two nieces, Samantha Sims and Delaney Kate Griffin.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 11, at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home, 24021 W. Royal Worlington Drive, Naperville.

A memorial service will take place at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, at Grace United Methodist Church, 300 E. Gartner Road, Naperville.

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Sheri's honor may be made to Oxford Bank and Trust, designated "Mallard Boys' Trust" and sent to any Oxford Bank branch.
