Bernice Weber

Bernice B. Weber, nee Heide, 73, of Lombard, died Thursday, Nov. 28, 2002 at home.

Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 2, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard, with the Rev. Kim Wood officiating. Interment was at Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery in Oakbrook Terrace.

Mrs. Weber was the mother of Catherine (Andrew) Jugle, Cheryl Bancroft, Marcia (James) Madigan of Villa Park, Charles of Lombard and Nancy (David) Hibbeler of Villa Park; grandmother of 13; sister of Keith (Julie) Heide; and aunt of one. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward A.

Mrs. Weber was born and raised in Lombard. She was a graduate of Glenbard West High School in 1947, and was a member of First Church of Lombard.

Damian Zanon

Damian Vincent Zanon, 21, died Friday, Nov. 29, 2002 in Naperville.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 3, with prayers from Knollcrest Funeral Home, 1500 S. Meyers Road, Lombard, to Mass at Christ the King Catholic Church in Lombard, with the Rev. John Smyth, Maryville Academy, Des Plaines, officiating. Interment was private.

Mr. Zanon was the son of Candace and Joseph Senese; grandson of Sadie Senese; brother of D.J. (Debbie), Joe and Vinnie Senese; nephew of William Babecki, Greg Babecki, Jeff (Julie) Babecki, Lucien Senese and Mary (Tim) Murphy; great-nephew of Rosemary Morgan; and uncle of Ryan Senese. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dominick Senese and William and Lorrayne Babecki.

Mr. Zanon attended Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, where he was a junior.

Memorials to Maryville Academy in Des Plaines would be appreciated.

Antoinette Boynansky

Antoinette J. Boynansky, nee Zigurski, 77, died Sunday, June 11, 2000 at Fairview Baptist Home in Downers Grove.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 13, with prayers from Knollcrest Funeral Home, 1500 S. Meyers Road, Lombard, to Mass at St. Mary of Gostyn Church, Downers Grove. Interment was at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.

Mrs. Boynansky was the mother of Donna (Charles) Golly, grandmother of three; sister of Lottie (Pete) Jasinski, and sister-in-law of Jean Zigurski. She was preceded in death by her husband, William; sisters, Mary Bonomini, and Stella Zigurski; brothers, Joseph, Edward, and John Zigurski; brother-in-law, Joseph Bonomini; and sister-in-law, Dorothy Zigurski.

Mrs. Boynansky was a homemaker and member of the St. Mary of Gostyn's Monday Night Rosary Group.

Memorials to the Spina Bifida Association, 3080 Ogden Ave., Suite 103, Lisle, IL 60532 would be appreciated.

Richard Elmore

Richard Elmore, 57, of Mesa, Ariz., died Saturday, June 10, 2000 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove.

Funeral services and intermenty were private.

Mr. Elmore was the sister of Kay (Joseph) Goodfellow of Lombard, and Marianne (Jay) Brigham.

Arrangements were made by Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard.

John Hayes

John J. "Jack" Hayes, 73, of Lombard, died Friday, June 16, 2000 at home.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 20, with prayers from Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard, to Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Lombard. Committal was at Elm Lawn Cemetery, Elmhurst.

Mr. Hayes was the husband of Jean; father of Linda (Bill) Wallace of Lombard, Christine (Emil) Zidek, John, Donna (Kevin) Thurow, Jim (Marilyn), Peggy, Patty, and Dan of Lombard; grandfather of 13, great-grandfather of two; and brother of Agnes "Billie" Hendricks, Irene "Peg" Carroll, and Dorothy Owen; and uncle of many. He was preceded in death by his parents, John T. and Irene; son, Thomas; and brother, James.

Mr. Hayes was a retired deputy chief of the Cook County Forest Probation Department after 44 years with Cook County government. He was a long-time member of the Stewart Club in Chicago, and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served during World War II.

Robert Klemp Sr.

Robert George Klemp Sr., 70, of Villa Park died Friday, June 16, 2000 at home.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 20, at St. Mary of Gostyn Church, Downers Grove. Interment was at Glen Oak Cemetery, Hillside.

Mr. Klemp was the husband of LaVerne; father of Robert Jr. (Kathleen), Keith T., Alan W. (Tracy), Mark J. (Cindy), and Brian E.; grandfather of 15; brother of Thomas (Renell) and Phyllis (William) Andro; brother-in-law of Eileen (Robert) Klobnak and Joseph (the late Geraldine) Boller; and uncle of several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Klemp was a retired stereotyper for several major and local Chicago-area newspapers. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp, having served during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of VFW Post #15014.

Helen Pettee

Helen Pettee, 100, of Mountain View, Calif., formerly of Lombard, died Thursday, June 15, 2000 at home.

Funeral services are pending.

Mrs. Pettee was the mother of Antoinette Sherman, stepmother of Pamela Brewington, grandmother of one, stepgrandmother of two, and aunt and great-aunt of many. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank.

Mrs. Pettee had lived in Lombard for many years. Her love of baseball was obvious to all who knew her. She followed the Chicago Cubs her entire adult life. She also had a fondness for cats and an extensive collection of cat memorabilia.

Memorials to the Humane Society would be appreciated.

Bernadine Ring

Bernadine C. Ring, nee Hoellen, 69, of Lampe, Mo., died Sunday, June 18, 2000 in Missouri.

Funeral services will held Saturday, June 24, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard. Interment will be at Mt. Emblem Cemetery, Elmhurst.

Mrs. Ring was the wife of Karl A.; mother of Robert (Sue) of Lombard, Pete (Cindy), and Caryn (Bill) Lindbeck; grandmother of six; great-grandmother of two; sister of Ruth (Harvey) Grosch and Larry Hoellen; and aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Ring had worked as an operator for Ameritech in Lombard from 1962-93 and was an active member of Telephone Pioneers of America.

Memorials to the American Cancer Society, 999 N. Main St., Glen Ellyn, IL 60137 would be appreciated.
