Burial will be at Beverly Cemetery in Blue Island. Mr. Raffety was born March 30, 1920, in Marshfield, Wis. He was the retired owner of M & R Antiques and Doll Hospital, Union Stamp and Coin Service, located at 105th Street and Western Avenue in Chicago. Mr. Raffety was a Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Raffety is survived by a daughter, Lynne Hill; a son, Robert R. Raffety; a sister, Patricia Collins; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She retired after 36 years of service. She was a commissioner with the Midlothian Historical Society and a member of Midlothian Reunion Committee. She was a past member of the Sweet Adelines. Mrs. Shuttleworth is survived by her husband, Frank; a brother, Ron Hock; and many nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Sam J. Trafficanta, 79, of Chicago, died Monday at Roseland Community Hospital. Funeral services were held Thursday. Burial was at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Worth. Mr. Trafficanta was born Aug. 4, 1921, in Ensley, Ala. He came to Chicago at the age of 5 and attended the Grand Crossing neighborhood schools. He served in World War II with the Army. He arrived in Europe in March 1945, shortly before the war ended. He was then sent to the Pacific Theater in August 1945 and arrived in Japan in September 1945. He was a plumber by trade and owned Sam's Plumbing until his retirement. He was an usher at St. Anthony Church. Mr. Trafficanta is survived by his wife, Lee; a daughter, Nancy Trafficanta; two step-sons, Richard and Donald Chatlos; two sisters, Frances Caruso and Bernice Magaris; two brothers, Dominick Traficanta and John Trafficanti; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

An avid golfer, Mrs. Pilotto was a member of the Lincolnshire Country Club. Mrs. Pilotto is survived by a daughter, Celeste Pinckard of Chicago Heights; two brothers, Dante Long of Florida and Raymond Long of Chicago Heights; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He also loved to read. Mr. Koszut was a corporal in the Army during World War II. Mr. Koszut is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lorraine; four daughters, Diane Lieb, Donna Lewter, Karla Toomey and Francine Morgan; two sisters, Florence Koszut and Tillie Harraun; 10 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
