Denise H. Ary
Denise H. Ary, 68 years old of Lake Villa, IL passed away Friday, July 23, 2004 at her home. She was born February 18, 1936 in Chicago the daughter of the late Irvin and Evelyn (Galusha) Moody. She grew up in Wauconda, IL and has lived in Lake Villa for the past 36 years where she was a member of the United Methodist Church. Denise was also a member of the Antioch Women's Club, enjoyed gardening and being with her children and grandchildren. She retired in 1998 as an administrative assistant at Abbott Laboratory.
On March 28, 1980 she married Kenneth Ary in Waukegan, IL.
Survivors include her husband, Ken; two sons, James (Denise) Zoephel ofLakemoor, IL and Christopher (Sara) Zoephel of Libertyville, IL; her step-mother, Josephine Moody of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, her three grandchildren, Ashley, Taylor and Brandon, and five nieces and nephews: Mike. Ron, P.J., Elizabeth Denevi, and Denise Williams.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Richard and a sister, Joanne Denevi.
A memorial service will be held at 6PM Wednesday July 28, 2004 at the United Methodist Church 110 McKinley Lake Villa, IL. Memorial visitation will be from 2PM until time of services Wednesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make donations to the United Methodist Church Nursery Fund, 110 McKinley, Lake Villa, IL 60046 in her memory. Arrangements were entrusted to the STRANG FUNERAL HOME OF ANTIOCH, IL.

Dorothy (Tyrrell) Day
Dorothy Day, 93 of Waukegan, IL, passed away in her home on Wednesday, July 21 at 2 AM. She was born on June 11, 1911 in Waukegan and was a lifelong resident of Waukegan.
She was a graduate of Holy Child High School and Moser College of Chicago. She had been a member of St. Therese Auxiliary and a volunteer at St. Therese Hospital, a member of Immaculate Conception Church and a member of the Alter and Rosary Society of that church. She was also a member of Bonnie Brook, Brae Loch, Orchard Hills and Shiloh Ladies Golf Associations.
She is survived by her children, Laurice (Ralph) Patterson, Barbara (William) Busch, Donald (Diana) Day and Fred T. Day. Also a sister, Marilyn Butcher and four nieces; one nephew and grandchildren, Ralph (Sarita) Patterson, Dan (Julia) Patterson, Eileen (Gordon) Smith, Karen (Joseph) Carrizales, Robert (Connie) Patterson, Brian Patterson, Richard (Tina) Patterson, Jill (James) Polites, Jeanette (Jason) Folkenroth; Kathy Busch, Patricia (Steven) Fox, Susan Busch; Darren (Marla) Day, Dawn (Matthew) Tracy and Douglass (Juanita) Day. Also 29 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Day (1989) and two sons, Robert (1945) and Douglass (1948), who died at birth. Also a brother, Edward (Grace) Tyrrell.
Funeral Mass will be 11:00 AM on Monday, July 26, 2004 at Immaculate Conception Church (Grand Ave. & West St.). Interment will be at Ascension cemetery in Libertyville. Friends may call at the church from 10:00 AM to time of mass.

Martin C. Decker, beloved husband of Madelon Watts; father of Eric (Sue Stone) Decker of Scotts Valley, CA, Nan Decker (Bruce Doan) of Grass Valley, CA, Tanya (John IV) Vaughan of Plymouth, MA and Madeline (Carlos) Decker- Gutierrez of Ithaca, NY; grandfather of Casey, Morgan and Jillian Decker-Stone; brother of Janine (Jack) Collins of Portland, OR. Shirley E. Drucker
Shirley E. Drucker, 86, of Fox Lake, IL, died July 16, 2004 at the home of her daughters in Florida. She was born November 1, 1917 in Albany, Wisconsin, the daughter of Herman and Tillie (Zimmerman) Hoesly.
Survivors include daughters, Pamela Young and Sandra Randa of Port St. Lucie, FL; a son, Terry Drucker of McHenry, IL; grandchildren, Corey (Becky) Young, Burke (Lisa) Randa, Erin Drucker, Morgan Drucker; and two great-grandchildren, Hailey and Taylor; a brother, Herman Hoesly Jr. and sister, Betty Guenther; a sister-in-law, Joan Hoesly.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James J. Drucker; and daughter-in-law, Erlene Drucker; sister, Virginia Hoesly; and brother-in-law, Roy Guenther.
She was gentle as a dove and brave as a lioness. We will all miss her.
Donations will be given to the Pancreatic Cancer Society in loving memory of Erlene Drucker.

Marylou Holverson
Marylou Holverson, 68, of Zion died on Thursday, July 22, 2004 at home following a long illness.
She was born December 18, 1935 in Milltown, Illinois, grew up and graduated high school in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin and came to Zion in the early 1950's. She belonged to North Prairie United Methodist Church and in 1995, she retired from First Midwest Bank in Waukegan. She had also served as a Girl Scout leader, was a Teacher's Aid and was a member of PTA of Zion elementary schools and she served two six year terms on the Zion-Benton Library Board, with eight years as President.
Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Del; children, Phillip (Cindy) Massari, Dawn (Daniel) Elrod and Denise (Barry) Holbrook; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; her mother, Mary Cheffey; a brother, Kenneth (Betty) Chumbley; special friends, Robert and Carol Pye and Dorothy Ostrander; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by first husband, Eugene Massari; a daughter, Debi Sanchez; her father, Kenneth Ray Chumbley; her step father, James Cheffey; and two brothers, Edmund and William Chumbley.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 28, 2004 at 10:30 AM at North Prairie United Methodist Church, 5000 W. 9th Street, Winthrop Harbor. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 27th from 5 until 9 PM at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion. 847-746-1234.

Melvin W. Lamusga
Melvin W. Lamusga, 77 years old of Antioch, IL, passed away Thursday, July 22, 2004 at his home. He was born August 18, 1926 in Chicago, the son of the late Joseph and Agnes (Solga) Lamusga and had spent summers in Antioch, before moving there permanently in 1983.
Mr. Lamusga was a member of St. Peter Church of Antioch and had also attended St. Benedict Abbey in Benet Lake, WI. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and enjoyed bicycling. Before his retirement, he worked as a self-employed structural engineer. On June 18, 1960, he married Lorraine Pazdro in Chicago.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Lorraine; three sons, William (Susan) of Plainfield, IL, Steven of Antioch, James (Karen) of Antioch, and Julie (Stephen) Jelinek of Burlington, WI; and four grandchildren, Juline, Cara, Brenna and Emily.
Funeral services with Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, July 26, 2004 at St. Peter Church, Antioch, IL. Interment will be in the St. Benedict Abbey cemetery, Antioch Township, IL. Visitation will be held from 1 until 5 PM, Sunday, July 25, 2004 at the STRANG FUNERAL HOME OF ANTIOCH, 1055 Main St. (Rte 83) Antioch.

Josephine "Jo" Leskis
Josephine "Jo" Leskis, 72, of Mauston, WI, formerly of Waukegan, IL, passed away suddenly on Sunday, July 18, 2004, at Lake Forest Hospital in Lake Forest, IL.
She was born November 9, 1931, in Ottawa, KS, and married Edward Leskis on December 12, 1956, at St. Bartholomew's Church in Waukegan. Jo was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She loved animals, oil painting, crocheting, gardening, and helping others.
Survivors include her husband, Edward Leskis Sr.; three children, David Leskis of Las Vegas, NV, Barry (Kim) Leskis of Orlando, FL, and Valerie (Gene) Knodel of Winthrop Harbor, IL; four grandchildren, Kristy, Barry Jr., Brittani, and Shannon.
She was preceded in death by a son, Edward Leskis Jr.; and her parents, George and Draga Dragieff.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, July 25, 2004, at 2:00 p.m., at the Zion Moose Lodge, 41517 N. Sheridan Rd, Zion. Friends may greet the family at the Lodge from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services.

Anne Miller, of Muskego, formerly of Waukegan, IL. Found peace on Tuesday, July 20, 2004 at the age of 87.
Beloved wife of the late Robert G. Loving mother of Gary (Karen). Grandmother of Kathryn (Mark) Schmitt and Dawn (Dave) Noble. Great-grandma of Mackenzie and Spencer Schmitt and Maggie and LuLu Noble. Sister of Bernice Edwards, of Waukegan, IL.

Edith Regenauer
Edith Regenauer passed away July 23, 2004. She was born in Kangaroo Island, Australia on October 27, 1901 and moved to Zion, Illinois when she was three years old.
She is survived by her three children, Betty Stanczak, Carl (Suzanne) Regenauer and Helen (Don) Hamlin; her grandchildren, Donald Hamlin II and Carl Regenauer, Jr; and her great grandchild, Donald Hamlin III.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Regenauer, who died in 1974; her parents, John and Alice Wright; her brothers, Charles, Clarence, Wilbur and Paul; and her sisters, Ruth Raetzman, Mildred Miller, Olive Johnson, Beulah Myrum, Mary Elmore, Alice Mitchell and Martha Wright.
Visitation will be held at MARSH FUNERAL HOME, 1521 Washington Street, Waukegan, Illinois 847-336-0127 on Monday from ten to 11 AM with services immediately following at the funeral home at 11 AM Monday.

Ethel V. Weaver
Ethel V. Weaver, 82, passed away on July 21, at Terrace North Nursing Home in Zion. Ethel was born July 29, 1921 to Harry and Olga (Burson) Hembrook in Burlington, WI.
Ethel was preceded in death by both parents, her two sisters Myrtle I. Forster and Lucille B. Sebetic, and her brother Kenneth Hembrook. Also preceding her in death were her two ex-husbands: Delmo Giagnoni and DeWitt Weaver, and one great grandson, Dexter Nyara.
Ethel is survived by one daughter, Sandra L. (Daniel J.) Thomas, four grandchildren: Dawn M. (Mike) Gross, Theresa M. (Craig) Morse, Kenneth F. (Karyn) Nyara and Charles M. Thomas, six great grandchildren: Amber and Victoria Nyara, Breanna, Shelby and Kelsey Gross and Joseph Morse; four nephews: Donald and David Sebetic, Rick and Jim Hembrook and one niece Joan (Hembrook) Williams and many good friends.
Ethel was a member of the Kenosha Alano Club and the Antioch Women of the Moose. She was retired from V.R. Wesson Co.
Ethel's wish was to be cremated and that there will be a small family memorial.

William "Bill" H. Grenell
William "Bill" H. Grenell, 67, of Eagle River, WI., for the past 12 years, formerly of Ingleside and Des Plaines, died Thursday, July 15, 2004 in Wisconsin. He was born on November 1, 1936 in Chicago, IL., to Howard and Ruth (nee Nash) Grenell.
He was a Manager for Illinois Bell Telephone Co. in the Chicagoland area for over 35 years before retiring in 1992. Mr. Grenell was a member of St. Peter of the Fisherman Catholic Church in Eagle River and was a former member of St. Bede Catholic Church in Ingleside for many years.
He introduced the "Fishing Has No Boundaries" Program in the Eagle River area 12 years ago which is successfully running today. He was co-founder of the Lakeland Cardinals Football Program in Fox Lake and prior to that was very instrumental in developing the St. Bede Athletic Program where he coached various athletic sports. He was a huge Green Bay Packers Football fan and loved his family and fishing.
He is survived by one son, Robert "Rob" Grenell of Hainesville, IL; his four daughters, Jennifer (Bill) McArthur of Ingleside, Christine (Mike) Polanzi of Fox Lake, Jill (Rich) Becmer of Lake Villa and Ruth Michelle Grenell of Anaheim, CA; his grandchildren, Brittany Sanko of Fox Lake, Brett and Alyssa McArthur of Ingleside, Brian and Lauren Becmer of Lake Villa and Angelina Grenell of Anaheim, CA; his two brothers, Richard (Joanne) Grenell of Grayslake and Robert (Sherry) Grenell of Spring Grove; and his one sister, Peggy (Dan) Pawlak of Lake Villa.
preceded in death by his parents.
Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Gathering on Tuesday, July 27, 2004 from 5-8 PM at the K.K. Hamsher Funeral Home, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Rd., Fox Lake, IL. 1 blk. Susan L. "Sue" Hoth
Susan L. "Sue" Hoth, 48, of Mundelein, IL passed away suddenly at Lake Forest Hospital on Tuesday, July 20, 2004.
Sue was born on January 1, 1956 in Evanston, IL (first baby of the new year in Evanston) but grew up in Mundelein, IL. She attended Santa Maria del Popolo grade school where she made her first communion and confirmation and went on the graduate from Mundelein High School in 1973. She continued her education through College of Lake County, specializing in Accounting. She was employed as an Office Administrator with Thomas A. Klym & Associated, LTD of Lincolnshire. She was active in many community activities: Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce, Lincolnshire Rotary Club, Gurnee Rotary Club, Meals on Wheels of Lake County, Countryside Fire Department Women's Auxiliary, Mundelein High School Athletic Booster Club and the Mundelein Persian Gulf War Support Group.
Many people who knew an loved her survived Sue. Her three loving children, Pamela (Arlen) Jacob of Fayetteville, NC, Angela Crowcroft of Crystal Lake, IL and David Crowcroft of Kenosha, WI; her mother and step-father, Marianne and Howard Farning of Milo, MO; her sister, Sharon (Juan) Salinas of Round Lake; her five brothers, Skip (Norine) Hoth of Lindenhurst, Time (Denise) Hoth of St. Louis, MO, Steve (Maracella) Hoth of Vernon Hills, Dan (Jeanmarie) Hoth of Mundelein and Gary Hoth of Birchwood, WI; her two step-brothers, George (Vickie) Farning of McHenry and Scott (Sherry) Farning of Wauconda; her two step-sisters, Tammy (Wayne) Paul and Dorine (Tom) Cox both of Kenosha, WI. Sue had nine grandchildren who were the light of her life. Some of her happiest moments were spent with them and they all adored her in return. They are: Jeffrey, Danielle, Michaela and Joshua Jacob, Derrick, Desiree, Daijah, TaTiana and Kristopher Crowcroft; 27 nieces and nephews, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and business associates. She will be dearly missed by her lifelong friend, Carol Lou Tomic.
Her father, Vernon J. Hoth, Sr.; sister, Katherine A. Lappin; and a nephew, Andrew Hoth preceded her in death.
Visitation is from 4-9 p.m. Friday at the KRISTAN FUNERAL HOME P.C., 219 West Maple Ave. (2 bl. west of Rte. 45 on Rte. 176) Mundelein. Funeral Services 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials to the family appreciated. 847-566-8020.

Winifred "Winnie" Iacubino
Winifred Iacubino, 82 of Lake Bluff, formerly of Lansing and the Roseland Community of Chicago, died at her home July 21, 2004.
Wife of the late Anthony P. Iacubino (1972). Mother of James V. (Dorothy) Iacubino of Lake Forest. Grandmother of Anthony J. Iacubino of Lake Forest and Anne E. (Jeff) Artac of Lake Bluff. Daughter of the late Alfred and Mamie Schulz.
