Herman N. Yarborough, age 76 of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away Sunday, November 14, 2004. He was born August 5, 1928. He was formally of the Lake County area.
Funeral services entrusted to WARREN FUNERAL HOME, RICHARD S. ZAEHRINGER, Director, 1475 N cemetery Road, Gurnee, IL 60031 (Located outside the main entrance to Warren Cememtery, at the insection of Tri-State Pky & cemetery Rd.). The interment will be at WARREN cemetery 1495 N cemetery Road.

Barbara Ann Davis (nee Jehle)
Barbara Ann Davis (nee Jehle), age 67, beloved wife and best friend to Don. Cherished wife of 44 years. A long time resident of Deerfield, the last 38 years in Poets Corner. Devoted mother of Lori and Karyn (Dr. Antonio) Bravo; dearest Nana of Alexandra, Christian and Sebastian. Barb passed away November 14, 2003 at home surrounded by members of her loving family. She fought valiantly for six months against lung cancer. She spent her early childhood on a farm in Kentucky and she loved Kentucky, she experiences the adventure of riding a mule to a one room school house. Barb moved to Deerfield and graduated from Highland Park High School. She was a very intelligent young woman, but could not afford college. She became a secretary to the first principal at Deerfield High School, retired to raise her family and then returned to work when her daughters were in middle school. she retired again after a 25 year work career in the Deerfield High School Guidance Department. She was a highly skilled, caring and dedicated employee for District #113. During her married years she was active in Brownies, as a coach in DYBA and as a member of the Townley Women's Club of Deerfield. She enjoyed swing and line dancing, playing bridge with her buddies, supporting all of her husbands interscholastic teams and was a die hard Cubs fan.
Barb is survived by her step father, Wendel Clayton; and her guardian angel sister, Mary (Bob) Saffel of Las Vegas; brothers, Tom (Bernadette) Clayton of Washington Island, WI and James (Judy) Clayton of San Diego.
A visitation will be held from 4 until 8 PM on Tuesday, November 18, 2003 at KELLEY & SPALDING FUNERAL HOME, 1787 Deerfield Rd, Highland Park, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Memorials and Honor Program, P.O. Box 2680, North Canton, Ohio, 44720 in memory of Gregory Baer. Jeffrey Allen Hansen
Jeffrey Allen Hansen, 61, a resident of Round Lake Beach for the past 16 years. Born June 26, 1942 in Chicago and passed away Friday, November 14, 2003 after a brief and courageous battle with cancer.
Jeffrey is survived by his wife of 41 years, Kay (nee Rapp) Hansen of Round Lake Beach; his children, Chris (Lisa) Hansen of Lake Villa, Steven (Linda) Hansen of Round Lake Beach, Melissa (Bob) Arnold of Ingleside, Julie (Jim) McArdle of Charlotte, NC and Ben (Jenneen) Hansen of Johnsburg; his grandchildren who were everything to him, Alex, Abby, Philip, Timothy, Shawn, Michelle, Emily, Brendan, Kaitlyn and Paige; his mother, Myrtle Lucile Hansen; his sister, Susan (Tom) Nolte and their children, Tom, Tim and Todd all of Saulkville, WI; and his many friends of AA. His sense of humor kept us going until the very end.
His father, Anker Hansen preceded him in death.
A memorial service is scheduled for Tuesday, November 18, 2003 at STRANG FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM, LTD, 410 E. Belvidere Rd., Grayslake, IL, 60030 at 7 PM. Friends of the family may visit from 5 PM until the time of the service at the funeral chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hospice of Northeastern Illinois, 410 S. Gerda B. Hoskins
Gerda B. Hoskins, 69, of Wildwood, IL, passed away Friday, November 14, 2003 at the Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. She was born January 26, 1934 in Augsburg, Germany, came to live in the USA in Libertyville in 1963 and retired to Wildwood in 1998. She was a life member of the Libertyville VFW Auxiliary and was employed as a real estate agent for Century 21-Kreuser & Seiler, Ltd. in Libertyville, retiring in 1998 after 21 years.
Surviving are her husband of 45 years, Elmer Hoskins, her son Steven (Marianne) Hoskins and grandchildren, Anna and Benjamin, all of Wildwood and her brother Helmut Bock, living in Germany.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 19 at the BURNETT-DANE FUNERAL HOME, 120 W. Park Avenue, (Rt. 176) Libertyville. Following cremation, interment will be in Lakeside cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 2 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday. Memorial contributions can be made to the Lakeside cemetery Renovation Fund, P.O. Box 500, Libertyville, IL 60048. .

Margarita "Margo" Jadrich (Echevarria)
Our beloved Margarita "Margo" Jadrich (Echevarria), 38, of Waukegan found Eternal Peace and joined our Lord on November 14, 2003 at 12:06 AM. Margo was born November 11, 1965 in Waukegan, Illinois and remained a lifelong resident. In various banking positions for a number of years, Margo was most recently a homemaker. The role she enjoyed most in life was being a mother and aunt. Margo was a dedicated member of Immaculate Conception Church in Waukegan.
She is survived by her caring husband, Daniel J. Jadrich; three beautiful children, Lindsey, Danny and Alex; her parents, Milan and Isabel Echevarria; brothers, Milan (Barbara), Alberto, Raul (Rita), Hector (Viviam); a sister, Elizabeth (Roger) Ramos; her Godparents, Barbara and Heriberto Echevarria; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; father-in-law, Joseph J. (Mary); brothers-in-law, David (Sharon), John (Sandra); sisters-in-law, Deborah Swan, Diane Valdez, Judy (Chuck) Tekampe, Jamie and Gina (Chuck) Guerriero; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Margo was preceded in death by her grandparents; a sister, Mildred; mother-in-law, Barbara; and brother-in-law, Joseph Jr.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 AM Tuesday, November 18, 2003 at Immaculate Conception Church, 508 Grand Ave., Waukegan with Father Frank Plotka officiating. Interment will be at Ascension cemetery in Libertyville.
Friends may call at the PETERSON & PATCH FUNERAL HOME, 408 N. Sheridan Rd, Waukegan from 4 to 8 PM on Monday, November 17, 2003.

Carmen Joseph LaBarbera
Carmen Joseph LaBarbera died November 15, 2003, age 77, at the Sheridan Health Care Center, Zion, Illinois. He was born March 19, 1926 in Waukegan to Gaetano LaBarbera and Teresa (nee DeLuca) LaBarbera Romeo. Gaetano was an emigrant from Palermo, Sicily and Teresa was an emigrant from Italy. During World War II, he served as an Army MP overseas. After his retirement from Cyclone Fence, he worked at Louie's Restaurant in Waukegan.
Carmen is survived by his wife, Mary I.; his children, Kenneth (Sharlet) of Wadsworth, David of Beach Park, Gary of Waukegan, Teresa Simpson (Robert) of Jordan, MN and Thomas (Paula) of Waukegan. Carmen is also survived by the following grandchildren and great grandchildren, Jacquelyn LaBarbera and Melinda Franke of Madison, WI, Christopher (Stephanie) LaBarbera and Michael of Portageville, MO, Andrew, Jeffrey and Brenton LaBarbera of Wadsworth, Chrystal and William LaBarbera of Beach Park, Melissa LaBarbera and Alexa and Joshua of Waukegan, Lloyd LaBarbera of Waukegan, Shanynn Viirre and Justin and Brandon Viirre and Trevor Welch of Jordan, MN, Tamara (Brice) Kendall and Devon and Cody Kendall and Macalob Bartram of Jordan, MN, Christian, Anthony and Adam LaBarbera of Waukegan. Also surviving are his sisters, Margaret (Pat) Cusimano and Eva (Glen) Griffin, both of Waukegan.
Carmen was preceded in death by his parents; brother Frank, and his half-sister, Mary LaBarbera.
Visitation will be at 9 AM Wednesday, November 19, 2003 at the PETERSON & PATCH FUNERAL HOME in Waukegan with services starting at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Ascension cemetery in Libertyville, Illinois.

Julius R. "Slick" Pfeiffer
Julius R. "Slick" Pfeiffer, 78, of Waukegan passed away Friday, November 14, 2003 at Victory Memorial Hospital. He was born August 2, 1925 in Hiles, WI. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, American Legion Homer Dahringer Post 281 and a veteran of World War II, having served with the U. S. Navy. He retired as a machinist with Johnson Motors in 1986 after 39 years of employment. After retiring from Johnson Motors, he worked at the Half-way House at Orchard Hills for ten years. He was an avid Cub fan, bowler and loved his family.
Survived by his wife of 56 years, Neva; three children, Cindy (Kevin) Trupp of Burlington, WI, Steve (Heidi) Pfeiffer of Winthrop Harbor, IL and Joyce (Skip) Plotz of Antioch; seven grandchildren, Dennis, Dawn, Mike, Derek, Lacy, Jimmie and Keith; three great grandchildren, Brandon, Paul and Amber; a brother, Herb Pfeiffer of Rhinelander, WI; and a sister, Bernice Craig of Decatur, IL. preceded in death by a son, Dennis; several brothers and sisters; as well as his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, November 18, 2003 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1310 Frolic, Waukegan. Interment North Shore Garden of Memories.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM Monday at MARSH FUNERAL HOME OF WAUKEGAN, 1521 Washington St. and from 10 to 11 AM Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Memorials may be given to Alzheimer's Association in his memory.

Nicholas C. Pintavalle
Nicholas C. Pintavalle, 38, of Waukegan died Thursday, November 13, 2003 in Round Lake. He was born September 6, 1965 in Waukegan. He attended Woodland Grade School, Greenwood School and graduated from Lake of the Ozarks High School in MO. He was a carpenter by trade and a member of Lake County Carpenters Union Local #250.
He is survived by his rather, Thomas of Waukegan. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mia; and great uncle, Joseph Pintavalle.
Services were private.
Arrangements were entrusted with THE SALATA-GURNEE FUNERAL HOME, Old Grand Ave., Gurnee, IL.

Robert F. Schottle
Robert F. Schottle, age 65, passed away Saturday, November 15, 2003 at Lake Forest Hospital in Lake Forest, IL. He was a retired pipefitter out of the Chicago Union #597 and worked at Abbott Laboratories for 15 years as a computer technician.
Robert is survived by his wife of 18 years, Sandra Schottle whom he wed on March 25, 1985 in Geneva, IL, his children David (Melody) Schottle, Michael Schottle, Gregory Schottle, and Mary (Jim) Cain, his grandchildren Daniel, Chloe, and James Schottle, and Micaela, Joshua, and Emilie Cain, his brother John (Joan) Schottle, his nephews Jeffrey and Gary Schottle, and his niece Kim Schottle.
A funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, November 18, 2003 at STRANG FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM, LTD., 410 E. Belvidere Rd., Grayslake, IL 60030 at 11 a.m. Friends of the family may visit from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday. Eula Mae (Williams) Taylor
Eula Mae (Williams) Taylor, 87, of Zion passed away peacefully on November 16, 2003 at Victory Memorial Hospital in Waukegan, IL with her loving family at her side.
She was born December 13, 1915 in Kirkville, MS to the late John and Della Williams. In 1941, she married Prentiss Earl Taylor. She retired from Warwick Electronics in 1970 after 17 years.
She is survived by two daughters; Freda (Greg) Schaefer of Jacksonville, FL, Barb (Jim) Gunter of Zion; three sons, Jim (Lynette) Taylor of Zion, Jerry (Martha) Taylor of Huntsville, AL, and Larry (Gayle) Taylor of Antioch, IL; 13 grandchildren, Kenneth Bradley (Cindy) Vail of Zion, Tyra Hawkins of Jacksonville, FL, Kim (Jeff McIntyre) Topcik of Gilberts, IL, Tammy (Shone) Davis of Beach Park, Kevin (Lori) Gunter of Antioch, IL, Tonya (Robbie Hudrick) Taylor of Beach Park, IL, Tracy Taylor of Huntsville, AL, Tisha (T.K.) Kelley of Jacksonville, FL, Kara Gunter of Zion, Kent (Jessica) Taylor of Huntsville, AL, Tiffany (David) Spiller of Pleasant Prairie, WI, Tara (Don Baker) Taylor of Zion and Trent Nuzzio of Kenosha, WI; 18 great-grandchildren; a dear sister, Sula Spencer of Booneville, MS; a special niece, Zana (James) Mooreland of Kenosha, WI; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Prentiss Taylor, grandson Kyle Gene Taylor, five sisters and one brother.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 19, 2003 from 5-8 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 20, 2003 at 10 a.m. with Pastor Michael Brown of the First Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion. Susan M. Drabek
Susan M. Drabek, 43 years old of Ingleside, IL passed Monday, November 15, 2004 at the Midwestern Regional Hospital, Zion, IL. She was born September 4, 1961 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Art and Dorothy (Ribarchek) Gibson, living in Twin Lakes, WI, Winthrop Harbor, Fox Lake and Antioch, IL before moving to Ingleside in 2001.
Susan was a member of St. Ignatius Episcopal Church and Choir in Antioch. She was the supervisor of the closing Department of CTX Mortgage (New Charter Mortgage) of Gurnee, IL for 14 years.
On April 7, 2001 she married Peter P. Drabek III in St. Ignatius Episcopal Church.
Survivors include her husband, Peter; three daughters, Amy Venski and Mechelle Poplin both of Ingleside and Nealy O'Brien of Fon Du Lac, WI; two sons, Jeffrey (Michelle) Drabek of Round Lake Beach, IL and Peter (Karen) Drabek IV of Ames, IA; her mother, Dorothy Gibson of Antioch, IL; four grandchildren, Krysten, Kelsey, Kassie and Shayla; her brothers, Dave (Renee) Gibson of Twin Lakes, WI and Jim Gibson of Venice, FL and her sisters-in-law, Nancy Drabek of Fox Lake, IL, Janet (George) Solar of Ingleside, IL and Barbara Ann (George) Doyle of Bonita Springs, FL.
She was preceded in death by her father, Art Gibson.
Memorial services with Mass of Resurrection will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 19, 2004 at St. Ingatius Episcopal Church, 500 Depot St., Antioch, IL with Rev. Vincent Eckholm officiating. Lola Mae Eckerstrom, 86, of Lake Villa, IL passed away November 12, 2004 at the Condell Medical Center, Libertyville, IL. She was born May 12, 1918 in Dorchester, WI and has been a life long resident of Northern Lake County and Wisconsin. Lola was a member of the Eastern Star Chapter Chapter 438 of Libertyville, IL for over 50 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Gail Padilla of Plains, MT; two granddaughters, Kelly (Mark) Gozdecki of McHenry, IL and Dawn Decker of Waukegan; two great grandchildren, Shawna and Mark Jr. Gozdecki of McHenry, IL; two sisters and a brother, Dorothy (the late Lloyd) Kuster of Bethesda, MD, Alfred (Norma) Meier of Dorchester, WI and Beverly (the late William) Thomsen of Medford, WI; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. preceded in death by by her sister, Ruth; and brother, Robert.
