Nicholas Norbert Ed Orzech, 20, Wonder Lake, died Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2000, at his home.
Visitation was Sept. 2 at Wait-Ross-Allanson Algonquin Funeral Chapel.
The funeral was Sept. 3 at the funeral home, with the Rev. James Conner of Cary United Methodist Church officiating.

Ann R. Marhoefer
Ann R. Marhoefer, 84, Woodstock, died Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2000, at Hearthstone Manor, Woodstock.
Visitation was Sept. 1 at Skaja Bachmann Funeral Home, until the procession to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church for Mass.
Interment was at All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.

Darrel C. Benoy, 88, Belvidere, died in his home Friday, Sept. 1, 2000.
Visitation was Sept. 5 at Schneider-Leucht-Merwin and Cooney Funeral Home.
The funeral service is at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 6, at First United Methodist Church.

Jessica M. Koppen
Jessica M. (Behrens, Kimson) Koppen, 92, Woodstock, and formerly of Crystal Lake, died Friday, Sept. 1, 2000, at home.
Services and interment were private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jessica Koppen Memorial Fund, 744 Oak St., Woodstock, IL 60098.
Funeral arrangements were made by Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, Crystal Lake.

Evelyn M. Widmayer
Evelyn M. Widmayer, 77, Delavan, Wis., and formerly of Hampshire, died Thursday, Aug. 31, 2000, at Ridge Stone Village, Delavan.
A memorial service was held Sept. 9 at Zion United Methodist Church, Hampshire, with the Rev. Gordon Smith officiating. Burial was private in Hampshire Center Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Zion United Methodist Women or to the Ella Johnson Library, Hampshire. Funeral arrangements were made by Fredrick Funeral Home, Hampshire.

Darrel C. Benoy
Darrel C. Benoy, 88, Belvidere, died Friday, Sept. 1, 2000, at his home.
Visitation was Sept. 5 at Schneider-Leucht-Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, Woodstock. The funeral was Sept. 6 at First United Methodist church, Woodstock, followed by a graveside service with military honors at Oakland Cemetery, Woodstock.
Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church.

Eileen M. Moan, 52, Crystal Lake, died Saturday, Sept. 2, 2000, at her home.
Visitation was Sept. 5 at Church of Holy Apostles, McHenry, until the funeral Mass with the Rev. Robert Sherry officiating. Interment was private Sept. 6 in Memorial Park Cemetery, Crystal Lake.
Funeral arrangements were made by Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, Crystal Lake.

Catherine ‘Bette’ Cullerton
Catherine “Bette” Cullerton, 73, Woodstock, died Monday, Sept. 4, 2000, at Memorial Medical Center, Woodstock.
Visitation was Sept. 6 at 528 W. South St. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Sept. 7 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Woodstock, with the Rev. James McLoughlin officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Youth With a Mission. Arrangements were made by Honquest Family Funerals, Woodstock.

Hazel M. Johnson
Hazel M. Johnson, 89, died Monday, Sept. 4, 2000, at Woodstock Residence Care Center, Woodstock.
Visitation followed by the service was Sept. 7 at Windridge Memorial Park Chapel, Cary. Interment followed.

Richard Ziolkowski
Richard Ziolkowski, 64, Wonder Lake, died Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2000, at his home.
Visitation, followed by the memorial service, was Sept. 8 at Justen’s Wonder Lake Funeral Home, with the Rev. Robert Sherry of The Church of the Holy Apostles, McHenry, officiating. Interment was private.
The family would appreciate memorials to the American Cancer Society, 835 Belvidere Road, Waukegan, IL 60085, or to Vitas Hospice, 580 Waters Edge Drive, Lombard, IL 60148.

James A. Klopfenstein
James A. Klopfenstein, 75, Palmetto, Fla., and formerly of Sleepy Hollow, died Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2000, at Blake Medical Center, Bradenton, Fla.
Visitation was Sept. 8 at Miller Funeral Home, West Dundee. The funeral was Sept. 9 at the funeral home. Burial was in River Valley Memorial Gardens, West Dundee.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Dorothy M. Sweetland
Dorothy M. Sweetland, 90, formerly of Woodstock and Crystal Lake, died Thursday, Sept. 7, 2000, at the home of her daughter in Fox River Grove.
Visitation was Sept. 10 at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, Crystal Lake. The funeral was Sept. 11 at the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Raymond Rothwell officiating. Interment was in McHenry County Memorial Park, Woodstock.

Zelma E.L. Hudson
Zelma E.L. Hudson, 97, Woodstock, died Sunday, Sept. 10, 2000, at her home.
Visitation is from noon to the 2 p.m. funeral service Wednesday, Sept. 13, at Schneider-Leucht-Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, Woodstock. The Rev. Lana T. Sutton will officiate. Interment will be private in Oakland Cemetery, Woodstock.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to either First Methodist Church or Woodstock Food Pantry.

Margaret I. Wilcox, 85, Marengo, died Saturday, Sept. 23, 2000, at her home after a long illness.
Visitation was Sept. 26 at Marengo-Union Funeral Home, Marengo. The funeral Mass was celebrated Sept. 27 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Marengo, with Monsignor Philip O’Neil officiating. Interment was in Sacred Heart Cemetery.

John Brian Golden, 40, Woodstock, died Sunday, Sept. 24, 2000, at his home.
Visitation was Sept. 28 at Ryan-Parke Funeral Home, Park Ridge.
The funeral Mass was celebrated Sept. 29 at St. Paul of the Cross Church, Park Ridge. Interment was in Town of Maine Cemetery, Park Ridge.

David Allen Hatfield
David Allen Hatfield, 36, Lexington, Ky., died Sunday, Sept. 24, 2000, at his home.
Visitation was Sept. 28 at George R. Justen & Son Funeral Home, McHenry.
The funeral was Sept. 29 at the funeral home, with the Rev. Merle Conklin officiating. Interment was in McHenry County Memorial Park, Woodstock.

Richard J. Schroeder
Richard J. Schroeder, 59, Wonder Lake, died Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2000, at Condell Medical Center, Libertyville.
Visitation was Sept. 29 at Justen’s Wonder Lake Funeral Home, Wonder Lake. The funeral Mass was Sept. 30 at Church of Holy Apostles, McHenry. Interment was private.

Patricia Marie Bacon, 49, Woodstock, died Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2000, at University of Wisconsin Hospital, Madison, Wis.
Visitation was Sept. 29 at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, Crystal Lake. The funeral Mass was celebrated Sept. 30 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, Crystal Lake. Burial was in Crystal Lake Memorial Park Cemetery.

Dorothy E. Schneider
Dorothy E. Schneider, 78, Woodbridge, Va., and formerly of Woodstock for 40 years, died Friday, Sept. 22, 2000, at home.
There was no visitation and burial was private. Friends and family will gather at 1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 7, at Johns Evans Inn, Crystal Lake, to celebrate her life.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Clothing Closet of McHenry County, 221 E. Calhoun St., Woodstock, IL 60098; Hospice of Northeastern Illinois, 410 S. Hager Ave., Barrington, IL 60010; or the Dale City Rescue Squad No. 13, Dale City, VA 22193.

Ernest A. Bohn, 93, Woodstock, died Friday, Sept. 29, 2000, at Hearthstone Manor Nursing Home, Woodstock.
Visitation was Oct. 3 at Schneider-Leucht-Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, Woodstock.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2000, at Grace Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Lawrence W. Wick officiating. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery, Woodstock.

Albert Bohrer
Albert Bohrer, 84, Palm Coast, Fla., died Friday, Sept. 21, 2000, at Beverly Nursing and Rehab Center.
Services took place in Florida.
Memorials in his name may be made to the Council on Aging - Palm Coast Meals on Wheels, 1000 Belle Terre Parkway, Palm Coast, FL 32137.

Joseph W. Comella
Joseph W. Comella, 79, Woodstock, died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2000, at his home.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 11, at Schneider-Leucht-Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, Woodstock. A wake service is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Oct.12, at the funeral home, with Deacon Hans Rokus officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Woodstock.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Woodsock Opera House Community Center Inc.

John Harvey Hill
John Harvey Hill, 77, Woodstock, died Sunday, Oct. 1, 2000, at Memorial Medical Center, Woodstock.
Visitation, followed by the memorial service, was Oct. 7 at First United Methodist Church, Woodstock, with the Rev. Lana Sutton officiating. Military honors will be presented by VFW Post 5040. Memorials in his name would be appreciated to First United Methodist Church, 201 W. South St., Woodstock, or to the VFW Post 5040, 240 Throop St., Woodstock, IL 60098.
Arrangements were made by Schneider-Leucht-Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, Woodstock.

Visitation was Oct. 5 at Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home, Harvard. The funeral Mass was celebrated Oct. 6 at St. Joseph Church, Harvard, with the Rev. Richard Kramer officiating. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery, Harvard.
