Hunt, Matthew W.
February 24, 2004
GALESBURG - Matthew Wayne Hunt, 29, 46 N. Pearl St., died at 7:45 p.m. Friday (Feb. 20, 2004).
He was born Feb. 6, 1975, in Monmouth, the son of Debra Talley.
He married Maria Vasquez. He then married Kristin McClurg on June 1, 2002.
Surviving are his wife; an unborn son, Jacob Daniel Hunt; a son, Jalen Hunt, Bloomington; one daughter, Taylor Ann Hunt, Galesburg; his mother, Debra Talley Dejaynes, Monmouth; a grandmother, Carol Gregory Talley, Monmouth; a mother- and father-in-law, John and Karen Rice, Galesburg; two brothers, Chris Hunt, Lincoln, Neb., and Brian Dejaynes, Bloomington; one stepsister, Annie Fancher, Monmouth; three aunts; two uncles; and several nieces, nephews, great-aunts and great-uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandfather.
He was reared in Monmouth and graduated from Monmouth High School. He spent eight years of his early life in Normal.
He worked in furniture sales.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Turnbull Funeral Home, with the Rev. James Epperson officiating. His family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Warren County Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to establish an education fund for his children.

Hutchings, Patricia
February 12, 2004
GALESBURG - Patricia Hutchings, 74, formerly of Oquawka, died at 4:25 a.m. Wednesday (Feb. 11, 2004) in Seminary Manor.
She was born Jan. 13, 1930, in Galesburg, the daughter of Claude and Hazel Dee Berry.
She married Gordon Hutchings on May 15, 1948, in Galesburg. He died Aug. 1, 1990.
Surviving are a son, Gordon (and Quitzan) L. Hutchings Jr., Galesburg; two daughters, Susan Bramlett, Galesburg, and Kathy Hutchings, Galesburg; two brothers, Richard Berry, Galesburg, and Ronald Berry, Osh Kosh, Wis.; two sisters, Barb (and Gene) Hawkins, and Betty Hudgel, both of Galesburg; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother.
She attended Galesburg schools.
She worked as a department manager at Arlans Belscot in Galesburg, retiring in 1984.
Graveside service will be at 11:15 a.m. Saturday in Oak Lawn Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Watson Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's unit at Seminary Manor.

Hutchings, Marvin
February 17, 2004
GALESBURG - Marvin "Steve" Hutchings, 54, 1772 Rock Island Ave., formerly of Lake City, Fla., died at 9:20 a.m. Monday (Feb. 16, 2004) at home.
He was born Aug. 4, 1949, in Galesburg, the son of Marvin C. and Shirley G. Berry Hutchings.
Surviving are his mother; two brothers, Leroy (and Vickie) Hutchings, Galesburg, and Jimmy Hutchings, Moore, Texas; a sister, Vicki Hutchings-Garza, Galesburg; a nephew; a great-nephew; five nieces; and four great-nieces. He was preceded in death by his father and a niece.
He graduated from Galesburg High School in 1967 and from Carl Sandburg College and Lake City Community College, where he studied auto mechanics.
An Army veteran, he served from 1971-1974 in Germany.
He worked at Eagle Foods in Galesburg for 13 years, for the city of Galesburg Park District for three years, as a mechanic at Roundtree Moore Ford in Lake City for seven years and the past three years as a mechanic at Baya Auto in Lake City.
He lived in Lake City the past 11 years.
He was a former member of Mission Covenant Church in Galesburg and a member of Veteran Chapel in Lake City and the United Food and Commercial Workers union.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. Rick Shriber officiating and military rites by Ralph M. Noble American Legion Post 285. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel.
Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, to the family or to any charity.

Imler, Donald H.
April 22, 2004
GALESBURG - Donald H. Imler, 92, 1324 Morton Ave., died at 12:20 a.m. Wednesday (April 21, 2004), at home.
He was born Feb. 8, 1912, in Oakhill, the son of William and Ella Antrim Imler.
He married Lillian Groeper on July 2, 1932, in Lewistown.
Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Kathryn McKinney, Lisbon, Ohio, and Karen (and Barry) Hall, Gilson; a sister, Juanita McPherrin, Knoxville; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers, a grandson and a great-granddaughter.
He was employed by Chicago Quincy and Burlington Railroad for several years. He also owned and operated Don's Body Shop in Oakhill. He farmed for more than 10 years and worked as a heavy equipment operator in construction for 15 years, retiring in 1965.
He was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Watson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ernest Pizzamiglio officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the rosary to be recited at 8 p.m. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, Kickapoo.
Memorials may be made to OSF Hospice or to a charity of the donor's choice.

Rosaria Indelicato
September 22, 2003
GALESBURG - Rosaria "Sarina" Indelicato, 94, Galesburg, died at 2:30 a.m. Saturday (Sept. 20, 2003) in Galesburg Cottage Hospital.
She was born Feb. 25, 1909, in Siculiana, Italy, the daughter of Salvatore and Maria Cutia.
She married Melchiorre "Mike" Indelicato in 1936, in Siculiana, Sicily. He died in 1969.
Surviving are two sons, Alfonso (and Rose) Indelicato, Toronto, Canada, and Joseph (and Sharon) Indelicato, Galesburg; one daughter, Pat (and William) Bryan, Galesburg; two brothers, Pasquale Cutia and Cristofolo Cutia, both of Sicily; one sister, Cristina Muscato of Sicily; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Sam, three sisters and one brother.
She was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, with the Rev. Joseph Presley officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Watson Funeral Home; the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Inman, Raymond G.
January 15, 2004
MONMOUTH - Raymond G. Inman, 75, Oak Terrace, died at 4:55 p.m. Wednesday (Jan. 14, 2004) in Community Medical Center.
He was born Aug. 21, 1928, in McAlester, Okla., the son of Lee A. and Ethel King Inman.
Surviving are a sister, Mary Nell (and Forrest) Blassingham, Littleton, Colo.; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and four sisters.
He was reared and educated in McAlester.
He worked as a truck driver for 33 years, retiring in 1975 and moving to Monmouth in 1996.
He attended Rozetta Baptist Church.
Cremation will be accorded. No local services are planned. Burial will be in Oklahoma. Hoover-Hall Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Gary S. Isaacson
October 31, 2003
GALESBURG - Gary S. Isaacson, 67, 3368 Lincoln Park Drive, died at 8 p.m. Wednesday (Oct. 29, 2003) in Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Chicago.
He was born June 18, 1936, in Yorktown, Iowa, the son of Julius and Clevia Hartman Isaacson.
He married Hazel Rasmus on Aug. 20, 1957, in Oklahoma City, Okla.
Surviving are his wife; his mother of Clarinda, Iowa; a son, Treg (and Clare) Isaacson, Seattle, Wash.; a brother, Darrell Isaacson, Essex, Iowa; three sisters, Sandra (and Don) Emily, Manhattan, Kan., Julane (and Bill) Borth, Oklahoma City, Okla., and Sue Jungman, Council Bluffs, Iowa; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father.
He graduated from Clarinda High School in 1954 and from the University of Iowa in 1958. He received a master's and Ph.D. from the University of Missouri in 1966, and completed his internship at the V.A. Hospital in Jefferson Barracks, Mo.
He worked as a clinical psychologist and taught psychology at the University of Missouri and Stevens College, and later founded and was director of counseling services at Knox College, where he was an associate professor, retiring in 1997.
He was vice president of the Tri-County Mental Health Association; was a member of the American Psychological Association, the Holistic Health Association, the Association of Humanistic Psychology, the Illinois State Department of Mental Health and the Association of the Integration of Whole Person; was on the Board of Directors of the Holistic Center Inc. in Galesburg; and served as a member of the Council of Universities and Colleges of the Illinois Mental Health Planning Board.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Nov. 8 in Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel, with the Rev. Chet Travis officiating. No visitation is planned.
Memorials can be made to Knox College Student Counseling Services or to the Gift of Hope-Organ and Tissue Donor Network, 660 N. Industrial Drive, Elmhurst, IL 60126.
