Lyle Dean Johnson

Lyle Dean Johnson, 86, of Sun City, Az. and Niota, Il., formerly of Monmouth and Manhattan, Il., passed away Saturday, December 1, 2007 at the Hospice Center in Peoria, Az.
Lyle was born on September 3, 1921 and raised on a farm near Monmouth. During WWII, he served in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Ellett as a radio operator. After the war, he attended the University of Illinois and became an electrician. He married Virginia Rose Clark of Galesburg, Il. on March 20, 1948 in Logansport, In. They moved to Manhattan, Il. for Lyle's work at Service Pipeline. On September 29, 1984 he married Donna Russell Pilkington in Joliet, Il. Lyle retired from Amoco Pipeline in 1985 after 36 years of service. After retirement, he traveled and became a master dowser.
He was a member of the American Legion Post #136, Monmouth, VFW Post #230/Monmouth, Elks Lodge #374, Ft. Madison, Ia., American Society of Dowsers, and was a 55 yr. Member of Masonic Lodge #919/Elwood. Il.
He is survived by his wife, Donna, and 3 children from his first marriage, Dr. Margaret Johnson (Dr. Michael Bentley) of Peoria, Il, Carodeane (Pete) Armstrong of Ottawa, Il and Kevin (Lori) Johnson of Tinley Park, Il, 8 step-children, and 5 grandchildren. Lyle was preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia, his parents, Fredrick and Era Johnson, a brother Eugene Johnson, a sister Verdamae Johnson, and one son in childhood, Fredrick Lyle.
Services: A celebration of the life of Lyle Johnson will be on Saturday December 15, 2007 at 10:00 am at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth, Illinois. Cremation has been accorded. Military honors will be presented following the service. Memorial Funds are being established for either Disabled American Veterans, or the American Association of Dowsers. Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth is in charge of the arrangements.

Dolores F. LeClere

Dolores F. LeClere, age 76, of Monmouth; passed away at Monmouth Nursing Home on December 7, 2007 at 10:33 pm. Dolores was born on August 12, 1931 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Raymond and Minnie Roseland Hilbert. She was reared and educated near DeWitt, Iowa, and graduated from Lisbon High School. She then attended Mary Crest College in Clinton, Iowa where she received her teacher's certification.
Dolores married Harlen F.LeClere on May 25, 1955 in Grand Mound, Iowa.
Dolores first taught school in the rural schools near Lisbon, Iowa and then taught in Hopkinton, Iowa, teaching kindergarten and first grades. They later moved to Augusta, Wisconsin where she raised her family and worked as Dietary Cook in several nursing homes for eight years. Lastly she was a dietary cook at Monmouth Nursing Home in Monmouth for fifteen years before retiring. Dolores is a life member of the VFW Auxillary in Monmouth. She loved to play cards and bingo as well as go fishing.
Surviving Dolores are her husband Harlen F.LeClere of Monmouth, two daughters, Deanna Thornton and Mark of Monmouth and Kimberly Lowell and Roger of Guttenberg, Iowa and one son, Paul LeClere and YongMi of Augusta, Wisconsin.
Five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren

Half Brother Roger Schmitt of DesMoines, Iowa
And Sister in Law Marie Hilbert of Grand Mound, Iowa

Thelma May Juanita Thacker

Thelma M. Thacker, age 92, of Oquawka, Illinois, passed away at 3:21 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at the Great River Medical Center Hospice House in West Burlington, Iowa. Thelma was born on November 16, 1915 in Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of John Edward and Lillian Hazel Dowell Rickles. She was reared and educated in the Oquawka area where she has spent most of her life. Thelma married Clarence Thacker on January 26, 1933, in Warren County, he preceded her in September of 1970. Thelma has been a homemaker all her life and first was employed at the Burlington Instrument Company in Burlington, Iowa. She later worked as a clerk at Neisners Department Store also in Burlington. Thelma and her husband Clarence then were the first couple to operate and manage the Schlotzhauer Home in Oquawka, Illinois which they did for a number of years until retiring. Since then, Thelma has done some private domestic work locally and enjoyed Bingo, Dancing, and watching her birds especially Cardinals. She is a member of the Oquawka Eagle Aerie Auxiliary #3629 She most enjoyed visiting with family and friends. Thelma is survived her Daughter Sheron Kemp and Ralph of Gulfport, Illinois. Her Daughter in Law Kay Thacker of Burlington, Iowa. Twelve Grandchildren, Twenty-Eight Great Grandchildren, Fourteen Great Great Grandchildren. Her Step Brother also survives, Harlene Rickles and Betty of Cheyanne, Wyoming. and numerous Nieces and Nephews. She is preceded in her death by her Parents, Husband, One Son Clyde, and Two Sisters.
Services: A Graveside Service is planned on Monday May 12, 2008 at the Oquawka Cemetery. Her family will receive friends at Turnbull Funeral Home in Oquawka, Illinois on Monday from 10:00 to 12:00 prior to the service. A memorial fund is being established by her family.

Harriet G. McMillon

Harriet G. McMillon, age 81, of Rock Island, Illinois, passed away at 5:10 p.m. at Trinity West in Rock Island on Wednesday, December 5, 2007. Harriet was born on May 7, 1926 in Monmouth, Illinois, the daughter of Ralph and Harriet Cox Taylor. She was reared and educated in Monmouth, attending Monmouth Public Schools. She first married William Nickerson, she was then married to Edward Eugene Eaves, and lastly she married Porter Z. McMillon.
Harriet was a homemaker, and worked to raise her children to be productive, independent individuals. She ensured that they were well taken care of, until leaving home. Harriet's wealth was her family, and their welfare. Harriet enjoyed her friends, and the Birthday Club in Monmouth, music and dancing, and tap danced as a girl. She was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include five daughters; Harriet Thomas and Isaiah of Moline, Illinois, Francis Howard and Edward of East Moline, Illinois, Barbara Peoples and James of Bourbonnais, Illinois, Carla Nickerson and Bill of Rock Island, and Sherry Eaves of Charlotte, North Carolina. Four sons; James Nickerson Sr., of Moline, Donald Wade of Davenport, Fletcher Nickerson of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Edward Eaves Jr., of Macomb. Four sisters; Wilmetta Jean Herbert and Franklin of Ft. Leonardwood, Shirley Ann Manley and Weston of Marrietta, Georgia, Patricia Marie Lucas of Monmouth, and Lillie M. Hayes of Galesburg, Illinois. Three Brothers; Vinston Taylor of Moline, John W. Taylor of Monmouth, Robert L. Taylor and Karen of Davenport, Iowa. Also surviving are twenty seven grandchildren, forty three great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by; her parents, husbands, one daughter, Tina, one son, Michael, one brother, Larry Taylor, one granddaughter, Tiffany Thomas, and one grandson, Timmeron Howard.
Services: A funeral service will be Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth. Interment will be in Monmouth Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday morning, where the family will be present to receive friends from 10:00 a.m. till the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth is in charge of the arrangements.

James C. Brasche

James C. Brasche, 81, of Gerlaw, passed away on Friday, December 14, 2007, at the Monmouth Nursing Home, in Monmouth, Illinois. He was born on April 24, 1926 in Taylor Ridge, Illinois. James was reared and educated in the Taylor Ridge area. He attended Taylor Ridge Schools. James served his country during World War II in the United States Army. He married Donna L Stevens on April 22, 1950 in Monmouth, Illinois. She preceded him on April 5, 1999.
Jim worked in the Gambles-Skogmo warehouse for thirty-four years until the warehouse closed. He then worked at Mariah Foods in Monmouth. When not at his regular job, Jim also worked at Warren County Memorial Park Cemetery in Monmouth, where he dug graves for twenty five years for Bernadine Bowman. He also dug graves for many of the rural cemeteries in the area. Jim was also a member of the Gerlaw Volunteer Fire Department, and a member of the Alexis American Legion.
Survivors include two daughters; Suzanne Brasche and Dennis Endicott of Hannah City, Illinois, Kathy Armstrong and Larry of Monmouth, Illinois. One son; William James Brasche and Laurie of Colona, Illinois. Three grandchildren; Michael Armstrong and Dawn of Vail, Arizona, Heather Armstrong of Monmouth, and Allison Brasche of Colona. Also surviving is one great grandson, Cameron James Armstrong, one brother; John Brasche of Colorado, three sisters; Ruth Nuckles of Monmouth, Barbara Ray of Galesburg, Illinois and Joan Hogan of Galesburg.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, two brothers, and one sister.
Services: A graveside committal of ashes with Military Honors will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 19, 2007, at Warren County Memorial Park Cemetery in Monmouth. A memorial fund is being established for the Gerlaw Christian Church. Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth is in charge of the arrangements.

Shirley S. Darnell

Shirley S. Darnell, age 57, of Oquawka, Ill.; passed away at Cottage Hospital in Galesburg, Ill., on December 17, 2007 at 3:32 am.
Shirley was born on November 21, 1950 in Monmouth, Ill. and is the daughter of Chester R. and Lois Bridges McCoy. Shirley was reared and educated in Gladstone, Ill. where she attended and graduated from Gladstone High School. Shirley was married to John D. Darnell.
Shirley was employed thirty-one years on the line at Maytag Corporation in Galesburg, and was currently retired. She enjoyed camping and fishing, and enjoyed being a member of the "High Rollers" Club of Catfish Bend and Harrah's.
Shirley is survived by her Mother Lois E. McCoy of Knoxville, Ill., and her daughter Faunda R. Reed and Rodney also of Knoxville. Shirley's son J. Jason Darnell and his life partner, Cory are surviving in LaSalle, Ill.
Three Grandchildren Johnathan, Nathaniel, and Mason are surviving.
Shirley's significant other, Ronnie Baker with whom she resided, survives and lives in Oquawka.
Three Sisters Jeannette Pence and Larry of Lomax, Ill., Barbara Howell and Jim of Brooksville, Florida; and Bonnie McCoy of Monmouth.
One Brother Gary McCoy and Marge of Monmouth.
A number of Nieces and Nephews, and other relatives also survive.
Preceding Shirley in her death are her Father and One Sister Betty Thorndike.
Services: A funeral service will be at 10:30 am Thursday Dec. 20, 2007 at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth with intermenty in the Avon Cemetery in Avon, Ill.
Friends may call at on Wednesday after Noon and Thursday at Turnbull Funeral Home where her family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday evening. A memorial fund is being established for the American Lung Association.

J. Donald Brannan

J. Donald Brannan, 89, of Monmouth, passed away at 2:37 p.m., Thursday, December 20, 2007 at the OSF Holy Family Medical Center in Monmouth. He was born on November 28, 1918 in Monmouth. He is the son of John and Katherine Gleason Brannan. Don was reared and educated in Monmouth, and attended Monmouth Public Schools. Following his graduation from Monmouth High School, Don began studies at Monmouth College. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in June of 1940. Don served his country during World War II, as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army. He married Lonetta I. Fernald on October 4, 1969, in Monmouth.
Don began his career in Banking with Delavan Hardin at the Second National Bank in Monmouth. He then went to work at the National Bank in Monmouth, until his retirement. Don was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Monmouth, where he served as an Officer and Treasurer. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus in Monmouth, and the J.W. Clendenin V.F.W. Post 2301. Don was also a member and served as Treasurer for the Lake Warren Board. He also enjoyed bowling.
Survivors include his wife Lonetta I. Brannan of Monmouth, one step son; Gary Fernald and Sherry of Monmouth, two stepdaughters; Marilyn Brewer and Richard of Montford, Wisconsin, and Patricia McKelvie and Mark of Salem, Oregon. Also surviving is one niece; Barbara Brannan of Geneseo, Illinois, eight step grandchildren, and twelve step great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Claire Brannan
Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 27, 2007, at Immaculate Conception Church in Monmouth. Interment will be in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery with military honors. Friends may call on Thursday, December 27, 2007, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth, where his family will be present to receive friends. A memorial fund is being established for the Extended Care Unit of OSF Holy Family Medical Center or to the Knights of Columbus. Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth is in charge of the arrangements

Frances L. Clark

Frances L. Clark, age 88, of Monmouth, Illinois, passed away at 7:20 p.m. on Thursday, December 27, 2007, at OSF Holy Family Medical Center in Monmouth surrounded by her family. Frances was born on August 19, 1919 in Galesburg, Illinois the daughter of Joseph E. and Irene Watson Ritter. She attended Monmouth Rural Law School and Farmers Academy. She graduated from Monmouth High School and attended Carl Sandburg Junior College in Galesburg.
Frances married Raymond H. Clark in 1937 in Fort Madison, Iowa. He preceded her in death on May 16, 2006.
Frances worked as a book binder at Forman Company for over 20 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Monmouth where she taught Sunday School for 25 years. When her children were growing up, she was a leader with the Boy Scouts and Girls Scouts serving as a Den Mother with the Cub Scouts.
She was a Past Noble Grand of Rebekah Lodge in Monmouth. Frances was a member of the McDounough County Genealogical Society and had several articles published in 1992 History Volume I. Her family was her main interest and greatest joy.
Frances is survived by one daughter Linda Sedin and David of Sacramento, California and two sons
Ray Clark, Jr. and Joyce of Monmouth, and Jerry Clark in San Diego, California. Also surviving are
six grandchildren: Jerry Lee II, Alex, Dana, Anita, Tara, and Justin; and seven great grandchildren, two sisters Dorothy R. Jones of Abingdon, Illinois and Betty Jo Ottoson and Bill of Amarillo, Texas and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Frances is preceded in her death by her parents, husband Ray and one son Timothy, two brothers and one sister.
Services: A funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on January 3, 2007 at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth. Interment will be in the Warren County Memorial Park Cemetery in Monmouth. Friends may call on Wednesday, January 2, 2007 at Turnbull Funeral Home from 5:30-7:00 p.m., where her family will be present to receive friends.

Eva Doss

Eva Doss, age 91, of Monmouth, Illinois, passed away at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 25, 2007, at the Monmouth Nursing Home, Monmouth. She was born on November 8, 1916, in Galesburg, Illinois, the daughter of John and Eva Duke Welcome. She was reared and educated in Galesburg, attending Galesburg Schools. She married Lewis Doss on September 6, 1941 in Kahoka, Missouri. He preceded her in death on November 27, 1973.
Eva was first employed at the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant in Middletown, Iowa. Eva worked at Western Stoneware for 36 years until her retirement. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Monmouth. Eva enjoyed activities at Strom Center.
She is survived by one daugher-in-law Fumiko Adam of Monmouth, one granddaughter Tina McCullough and Jack of Elgin, Illinois and one grandson Clifford Adam of Monmouth. One great grandson, Zachery McCullough and one great granddaughter, Mika McCullough, both of Elgin. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son Clifford Adam, one grandson Richard Adam, and a number of sisters and brothers.
Services: A funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, December 28, 2007 at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth. Friends may call on Thursday and Friday at Turnbull Funeral Home. Lori A. Holt

Lori A. Holt, age 47, of Monmouth, Illinois; passed away at 1:52 pm on January 6, 2008 at OSF St.Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois. Lori was born on October 7, 1960 in Galesburg, Illinois and is the daughter of Patrick M. and Patricia Noonan Holt. Lori was reared and educated in Galesburg, and attended local schools and graduated from Galesburg High School. She then attended and graduated with a Bachelors degree from Monmouth College where she lettered all four years in Women's Volleyball, Basketball, and Softball. Lori then earned two Masters degrees in Physical Education and Health from Western Illinois University in Macomb and South West Missouri State. She also played for the State of Illinois softball team at the National level for two years. Lori began her career as Head Coach of Women's Volleyball, Basketball, and Softball at Spoon River College. Later she was Head Coach of Softball and Basket at Illinois College at Jacksonville, Illinois. Later Lori was coach and athletic director at Costa Catholic High School in Galesburg for a number of years. Most recently she is a teacher at the Lutheran Preschool and Day Care Center in Monmouth, Illinois for the past eleven years.
Lori is an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers, the Boston Celtics, and the St.Louis Cardinals.
Lori is a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Monmouth, Illinois
Surviving Lori are her Parents Pat and Patricia Holt of Knoxville, Illinois;
Five Brothers Frank Felz of Ft.Worth, Texas; Michael Felz and Kimberly of Evanston, Illinois; Paul Felz and Linda of Denver, Colorado; Patrick Felz and Joan of Buffalo Grove, Illinois; and Martin Holt and Joanne of Grant Ranch, Colorado. There are ten Nieces and Nephews surviving and numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. Preceding her in death are her Grandparents.
Services: A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church in Monmouth, on Thursday Jan.10th at 10:00 am. Cremation has been accorded. No viewing or visitation is being planned by her family. A memorial fund is being established for the Lutheran Preschool and Day Care Center in Monmouth, Illinois.

Roberta J. Tresham Howard

Roberta J. Tresham Howard, age 97, formerly of Monmouth, Illinois; died peacefully in her sleep at her home in Pueblo, Colorado on January 4, 2008. Roberta was born on February 7, 1910 in Monmouth, IL. attending the Monmouth Public Schools through High School and then graduated from Monmouth College where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority.
Residing in Monmouth for over ninety-five years, Roberta relocated to Pueblo, Colorado in 2005 to be close to her Colorado family. Her family, the Treshams was one of the first to settle in Monmouth in 1838 and with her departure to Colorado marked the end of the family's Monmouth history. Roberta married Robert H. Howard on October 22, 1939. He preceded her in death on February 16, 1988. Roberta was an avid birder, reader, and bridge player. She was known for her love of children demonstrated through her work teaching children to read as a volunteer at Warren Achievement School and Harding Elementary School, both in Monmouth. Roberta had a tremendous grasp for the English language and it's proper usage. She loved good books and good movies, never hesitating to spend a Sunday afternoon at the movies with her Great Grandson, James or spending time watching James and Ian swim, talking with Noah and Reichle, visiting with Kaelie and Maia in Monmouth, and being present at the hospital for the birth of Tate. Roberta had a special love for her great grandchildren as they had for her.
Surviving Roberta is one daughter Jane (John) Seatter of Punta Gorda, Florida; one son Tim (Kathy) Howard of Pueblo, Colorado and six surviving grandchildren, Brent (Pam) Seatter in Skokie, Illinois; Carey (Jon) Fischer in Golden, Colorado; Laura (Andy) Arcilise in Arvada, Colorado; Jessica (Justin) Lanham in Pueblo, Colorado; Jean (Jeremiah) Minogue in Pueblo, Colorado; and Katie Howard (Eddie Espinosa also in Pueblo, Colorado. Great Grandchildren Kaelie and Maia Seatter, Noah and Reichle Arcilise, James Minogue, Ian Fischer, and Tate Lanham. Three Nieces and One Nephew, and 10 Great Neices and Nephews. Preceding Roberta in her death are her parents, husband, one grandson Aaron Howard, one brother Bill Tresham, and one sister Martha Fraser.
Services: A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday January 10th at the Chateau at Sharmar in Pueblo, Colorado. The family will return to Monmouth in August for a visitation and private burial of her ashes. Memorial may be made to either the "Rainbow Riders" of Monmouth, or Extended Care Unit at OSF Holy Family Medical Center also in Monmouth, IL.

Terry A. Clevenger

Terry A. Clevenger, 63, of Alexis, passed away at 2:40 p.m., Thursday, January 17, 2008, at OSF St. Mary Medical Center in Galesburg, Illinois. She was born on December 5, 1944 in Monmouth, Illinois. She is the daughter of Theodore Bridger and Mary Alys Hill McKnight. Terry was reared and educated in the Alexis area, she attended Alexis grade school, and graduated from Alexis High School in 1963. She then went on to attend Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She married Phillip Clevenger on February 20, 1964 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Terry was a homemaker and farm wife. She was the owner of Cardinal Convenience Store in Alexis until the time of her death. She was a member of the Alexis United Presbyterian Church, she taught Sunday School there and was also Active with the PTO, and was active with the North Henderson Girls Softball League, and the Rainbow Girls.
Surviving Terry, is her husband, Phil of Alexis, three daughters; Angie Saline and Glenn of Oneida, Illinois, Traci Bertelsen and Rick of Alexis, and Tiffany Lair and Marc of Alexis. Also surviving are three sisters; Beth Hand and Charlie of Merlin, Oregon, Tammy Creek of Lutz, Florida, Donna Racette of Niwot, Colorado, and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services: A celebration of her life is planned 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 26, 2008, at the Alexis United Presbyterian Church. Her family plans to receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m., prior to the service a the church. A memorial fund is being established for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or the Alexis United Presbyterian Church.

Junior Siler

Junior R. Siler, 85, of East Peoria died at 11:35 a.m. Friday, Jan. 18, 2008, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born June 20, 1922, in Ipava, Illinois, the son of Claud B. and Alta Mabell Weese Siler. He married Maribeth Bigger in 1944 in Monmouth, Illinois, she survives.
Mr. Siler was a Navy veteran of World War II.
He was employed by Illinois Bell Telephone Company for more than 30 years, retiring in 1987 as a cable repairman. He was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America and was an avid bowler.
Survivors include his wife Maribbeth, one daughter, Mary Jane and Ed Chard of St. Louis, Missouri.; one son, Robert and Pam Siler of East Peoria; two grandchildren, Kathy Schormann of Ellisville, Missouri., and Brett Chard of St. Louis, Missouri; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Margaret Kessler of Blandisville; and one brother, Dean and Redeana Siler of Champaign.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Norma Davis and Donna McPeak; and one brother, Donovan Siler.
Services: A funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 21, 2008 at Turnbull Funeral Home in Biggsville, Illinois where his family will receive friends from noon until time of the services. Interment with military honors will be in Biggsville Township Cemetery in Biggsville. Memorials may be made to any charity of the donor's choice.

Avalon Mahr Roth

Avalon Mahr Roth, age 86, of Lakeland, Florida, formerly of Kirkwood and Rozetta, passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2008, at Savannah Court in Lakeland. She was born in Colchester, Illinois, the daughter of Roy and LaVerne Young Hensley. Avalon was reared and educated in the Colchester area, and graduated from Bushnell High school, attended Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois, and in her 70's she was the oldest graduate of a local business college. She was first married to Bernard Mahr and he preceded her on January 17, 1981. She then married Wilson "Bill" Roth, he also preceded her. Avalon resided in Illinois until 1970 when she and her husband and three youngest daughters moved to Lakeland. She worked in retail sales and retired from JC Penney as a supervisor in the catalog department. Avalon enjoyed playing cards and listening to gospel music. She was a dedicated and loving mother and grandmother.
Survivors included five daughters Carolyn and Larry Johnson of Viola, Ill., Marilyn and Jack Groves of Pontiac, Ill., Jarilyn and Robert Tuttle of Waynesville, N.C.; Darilyn Cornbee and Fiance Jim Waterson of Lakeland, and Sharilyn Warren of Lakeland, two sons Robert and Janie Mahr of Bushnell, Ill. and Paul Mahr and Fiancee Brenda DeVore of Swansea, Ill., fifteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her husband Bernard Mahr and husband Wilson "Bill" Roth and one son David Mahr, two brothers, twin granddaughters, and one great great grandson.
Services: A funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 26, 2008, at the Turnbull Funeral Home in Oquawka, Illinois. Interment will be in the Biggsville Cemetery, Biggsville, Illinois. The family will be present on Saturday to receive friends at Turnbull Funeral Home in Oquawka from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. A memorial fund is being established for the Rozetta Baptist Church RR 1 Box 67 Little York, Illinois.
