Mrs. Rose T. Fiacco, 85, of 375 Division Street Galesburg, IL, died at 2:00 AM Sunday March 4, 2001 at OSF St. Mary Medical Center, Galesburg, IL. Her funeral will be 10:00 AM Wednesday March 7, 2001 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church with Rev. Thomas Seibert officiating. Burial will be in Abingdon (IL) Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday March 6, 2001 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. The Rosary will be said at 8:00 PM. Memorials may be made to Corpus Christi Church.
She was born on April 26, 1915 in Chicago IL to Vincenzo and Rosa (Russo) Tanzillo. She married Martin D. Fiacco in Chicago on July 21, 1935. He preceded her in death on May 29, 1992.
She was a partner in the three "Marties" Restaurants in Galesburg and was the first to introduce pizza to the City. While born in Chicago, she was raised and educated in Naples, Italy. She was a member of the Corpus Christi Church and its Altar and Rosary Society.
She is survived by a son, Dominic "Sonny" Fiacco of Galesburg, IL; two sisters, Sylvia Buonamano of Naples, Italy and Mary Tanzillo of Turino, Italy; a brother, Vincenzo Tanzillo of Naples, Italy; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Mrs. Marjorie Ann Choate, 53, of 10218 North 18th Ave. Phoenix AZ, died at 2:30 AM Friday March 2, 2001 at her home. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday March 6, 2001 at Gerlaw (IL) Cemetery with Roby Souther officiating. Visitation will be from 8:30 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. Tuesday at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. Memorials may be made to Community Hospice of America.
She was born on October 8, 1947 in Galesburg to William T. and Betty L. (Hainline) Garrett. She married David Choate in Phoenix AZ in January 2000.
She was a 1964 graduate of Galesburg High School and a 1989 graduate of San Diego City College. She had lived in Phoenix since 1964. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints.
She is survived by her husband, David Choate of Phoenix, AZ; Mother, Betty Garrett of Gerlaw, IL; three daughters, Nicole Askey, Jennifer Larson and Melissa Wallis, all of Phoenix, AZ; two sons, Timothy Wallis and Matthew Choate both of Phoenix, AZ; three brothers, Dan Garrett, Howard Garrett and Jeff Garrett, all of Gerlaw, IL and six grandchildren.

Mrs. Mary Lue Eaves, 65, of 1417 Arcadia Drive Galesburg IL, died at 1:15 PM Tuesday February 27, 2001 at her home. Her funeral will be 10:00 AM Saturday March 3, 2001 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel with Rev. G. Harold Ahlberg officiating. Burial will be in Abingdon Cemetery, Abingdon. Visitation will be from 6:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday March 2, 2001 at the Chapel. Memorials may be made to American Heart Association or a Charity of the Donor's Choice.
She was born on February 6, 1936 in Knox County IL to Harry S. and Kathryn E. (Morris) Booton. She married Robert L. Eaves, Sr. in Galesburg on February 24, 1967. He survives.
A graduate of Knoxville High School, she attended the Covenant Church and did volunteer work for the Moose Lodge and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Eaves, Sr. of Galesburg, IL; a son, Robert Eaves, Jr. of Bloomington, IL; three sisters, Shirley Baker of DeLong, IL, Lueann Booton of Black Mountain, NC and Marge Futral of Fayetteville, GA; a brother, Laymon Booton of Galesburg, IL and three grandchildren. A sister, Virginia Davis, preceded her in death.

Mrs. M. Margaret Anderson, 85, of 1810-A Glenwood Oaks Ct. Urbana, IL, formerly of Galesburg, died at 9:05 AM Tuesday at 1810-A Glenwood Oaks Ct., Urbana, IL. Her funeral will be 11:00 AM Friday March 2, 2001 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel with Rev. Paul Johnson officiating. Burial will be in East Linwood Cemetery, Galesburg. Visitation will be from 6:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday March 1, 2001 at the Chapel. Memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church or Champaign County Humane Society.
She was born on November 6, 1915 in Bardolph IL to Clarence and Thressie (Radenbaugh) Horton. She married Eugene Hale who preceded her in death in 1936. She then married Earl F. Anderson in Galesburg on June 3, 1956. He preceded her in death on January 5, 1998.
She worked at the former O.T. Johnson Department Store and the Clifford Anderson Insurance Agency. She was a member of First Lutheran Church and belonged to the Lutheran Church Women. She volunteered at the Knox County Nursing Home and was a member of the Galesburg Mothers of Twins Club and a 4-H leader.
She is survived by three daughters, Jane Anderson and Janet Summers, both of Urbana IL and Nancy Manworren of Toledo OH; four brother, Delbert Horton, Ernest Horton, Neal Horton and Stanley Horton, all of Galesburg IL; a sister, Lois Payton of Galesburg IL; nine grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. A sister preceded her in death.

Mrs. Helen E. Masters, 86, of 1145 Frank St. Galesburg, IL, died at 2:45 PM Sunday February 25, 2001 at Galesburg Cottage Hospital, Galesburg, IL. Her funeral will be 10:00 AM Thursday March 1, 2001 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel with Rev. John D. Carson, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Haynes Cemetery, DeLong IL. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at the Chapel. Memorials may be made to a Charity of the Donors choice.
She was born on June 6, 1914 in Galesburg to Chester and Nancy (McCleary) Little. She married Rex L. Masters in Galesburg on October 24, 1964. He preceded her in death on April 29, 1995.
She worked in the Ice Cream Department at Meadow Gold Dairy for 33 years. She was a member of the Central Congregational Church and active in the Church's women's organizations.
She is survived by four nieces, Marietta Lester of Alexis, IL, Nancy Forrest of Sheffield IL, Kaye Randell of Galesburg IL and Trudy Ann Bloss of North Freedom WI. Seven brothers and one sister preceded her in death.

Mr. Elmer R. 'Curly' Sears, 91, of 1640 W. Main Street Galesburg IL, died at 5:30 AM Monday January 29, 2001 at Heartland Health Care Center, Galesburg IL. Private family graveside services will be Thursday February 1, 2001 at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. David Seitz officiating. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
He was born on March 12, 1909 in Somerset KY to Albert and Mary Sears. He married Velma L. Zahnley in Des Moines IA on February 8, 1936. She preceded him in death on October 9, 1964.
He was a manager and serviceman for Canteen Service Company for 35 years. He retired in 1972. He had lived in Galesburg most of his life. He was a member of Ralph M. Noble American Legion Post 285. He served in the Army Air Force during World War II.
He is survived by a son, Roger Sears of Galesburg IL; a sister, Jean Robison of Ft. Dodge IA; two brothers, Kenneth Sears of Sioux City IA and Paul Sears of Ft. Dodge IA and a sister-in-law, Mary Zahnley of Moline IL.

Mr. Joseph H. Knutson, 83, of 407 N. Hebard St. Knoxville IL, died at 6:00 PM Monday January 29, 2001 at Good Samaritan Nursing Home, Knoxville IL. His funeral will be 10:00 AM Friday February 2, 2001 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel with Rev. Lee Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Galesburg. He was born on July 4, 1917 in Galesburg to Dan and Kellie (Huggins) Knutson. He married Lucille Ruth Peterson in Clinton IA on July 25, 1939. She preceded him in death on July 24, 2000.
He worked at the former Gale Products division of Outboard Marine Company in Galesburg for 32 years, retiring as a supervisor. He had served as past president of the International Association of Machinists Union. He had lived in Galesburg his entire life. He attended Bethel Baptist Church, Galesburg.
He is survived by a daughter, Joceile Banks of Galesburg IL, eight grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. A son, James Knutson, his wife and 13 brothers and sisters preceded him in death.

Mrs. Elsie A. Kelso Goudy, 92, of 800 N. Market Street Knoxville IL, died at 6:40 pm Sunday January 28, 2001 at Knox County Nursing Home, Knoxville IL. Graveside services will be 11:30 AM Friday February 2, 2001 at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Galesburg, with Rev. Davis Seitz officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Friday at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. Memorials may be made to Galesburg Rescue Mission.
She was born on July 7, 1908 in Maquon IL to Harry and Edna (Reynolds) Harper. She married Charles H. Kelso in January 1927. He preceded her in death in October 1952. She then married Harold Goudy in Maquon in December of 1961. He preceded her in death in February 1994.
She was a teacher at the Weston Grade School from1955-1962 and the Bardolph Jr. High School from 1964-1973, retiring in June 1973. She lived in Galesburg most her life and Bardolph for a few years. She graduated from Galesburg High School in 1926 and Western Illinois University in 1955. She was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Retired Teachers Association.
She is survived by two daughters, Catherine Clayton of Galesburg IL and Patricia Curtis of Knoxville IL; a sister, Harriet Mitchell of Maquon IL; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A brother, Robert Harper, preceded her in death.

Mrs. Elizabeth J. 'Tibby' Harris, 85, of 2345 N. Seminary St. Galesburg IL, died at 5:50 AM Sunday January 28, 2001 at Galesburg Cottage Hospital, Galesburg, IL. Her funeral will be 11:00 AM Thursday February 1, 2001 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel with Rev. Tom Larsen officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Galesburg. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Thursday at the Chapel. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Disease Foundation.
She was born on June 10, 1915 in Galesburg to Lawrence D. and Nancy E. (Anderson) Johnson. She married Hugh V. Harris in Galesburg on July 5, 1939. He preceded her in death on April 23, 1994. She was a homemaker. She graduated from Galesburg High School and Knox College. She received her master's degree from Mt. Holyoke College in Springfield, Mass. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Galesburg. She was a lifetime member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority and Chapter W P.E.O.
She is survived by two daughters, Betsy Bowen of Muskego WI and Nancy Crandall of Tucson AZ, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Her husband and a sister preceded her in death.

Mrs. Mary M. Richardson, 57, of 460 W. South St. Galesburg IL, died at 8:55 PM Saturday January 27, 2001 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria IL. Her funeral will be 1:30 PM Thursday February 1, 2001 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel with Rev. John Carlson officiating. Burial will be in East Linwood Cemetery, Galesburg. Visitation will be from 6:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday January 31, 2001 at the Chapel. Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Foundation.
She was born on September 13, 1943 in Galesburg to Orville and Frances (Heaton) Richardson. She married Robert Richardson in Galesburg on April 8, 1998. He survives. She was an LPN for 21 years, working at various hospitals and nursing homes. She was also a cook in restaurants in the area. She retired in July 1981. She graduated from Avon High School in 1962 and from Carl Sandburg College Nursing Program in 1972. She had lived in St. Augustine IL, Alabama, Texas, and then returned to Galesburg. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church, Galesburg. Also Vesta #29 Rebecca Lodge, Ladies Auxiliary of Patriarch Militant, and Ladies Auxiliary Encampment. Also Abingdon American Legion Post 381 Auxiliary, AARP, Eagles Lodge, Home Extension, and D.I.G.I.T. (Disabled Individuals Getting In Touch). She was very active with helping the handicapped.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Richardson of Galesburg IL; mother, Frances Bean of Galesburg IL; a daughter, Lula Berry of Galesburg IL; three step daughters, Annette Jones of Nowood IL, Regina Lodwick of TN and Leslie Ogden of LaPrairie IL; a brother, Johnson Chapman of Loanake AR; two sisters, Karen Ebany of Abingdon IL and Becky Kinzer of Galesburg IL; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mignon Lou McGeehon in 1976, her father and a brother.

Mrs. Mary K. McCormick, 87, of 800 N. Market St. Knoxville IL, died at 11:20 AM Sunday January 28, 2001 at OSF St. Mary Medical Center, Galesburg IL. Her funeral will be 10:00 AM Wednesday January 31, 2001 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel with Dr. J. Stafford Weeks officiating. Burial will be in Alexis Cemetery, Alexis. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at the Chapel. Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church.
She was born on November 13, 1913 in Macomb IL to Arthur and Mary (West) Shannon. She married Kenneth McCormick in Macomb on November 5, 1932. He preceded her in death on September 27, 1988. She was a custodian at Monmouth (IL) College for 12 years, retiring in 1979. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Galesburg.
She is survived by two daughters, Connie Brant of Martins Ferry OH and Patricia Waymoth of Wataga IL; two sons, Bradley McCormick of Hot Springs AR and William McCormick of Monmouth IL, Daughter; two sisters, Jessie Foster of Macomb IL and Jennie Reynolds of Knoxville IL; two brothers, Ivan Shannon of Woodhull IL and Merideth Shannon of New Windsor IL; 16 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Five brothers, two sisters and two grandchildren preceded her in death.

Mr. Thomas L. Blaine, 87, of 2345 N. Seminary St. Galesburg, IL, died at 8:05 AM Saturday January 27, 2001 at OSF St. Mary Medical Center, Galesburg, IL. His funeral will be 1:30 PM Tuesday January 30, 2001 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Daniel Siems officiating. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Galesburg. Visitation will be from 6:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday January 29, 2001 at the Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church.
He is survived by two daughters, Patricia Bagnall of Cedar Falls IA and Vicki Diefendorf of Galesburg IL; a son, Tom Blaine of Dubuque IA, a brother, Robert Blaine of Woodhull IL; a sister, Eva Walker of Galesburg IL; six grandchildren and one great grandson.
He was born on October 30, 1913 in Stephensport KY to Percy and Murray (Barkley) Blaine. He married Nellie Pearl Nall in Woodhull IL on December 29, 1941. She preceded him in death on November 4, 1963. He then married Ruth Haverfield Budd in Galesburg on February 14, 1976. She preceded him in death on September 30, 1993.
He was a Postal Clerk for the United States Post Office in Galesburg for 28 years, retiring June 30, 1973. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Galesburg, IL where he served on the Board of Deacons, the Board of Trustees, the Board of Christian Education and was Church Moderator for 3 years. He also belonged to the Postal Clerks Assoc. Local 671, the Postal Credit Union, the American Postal Workers Union, and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. He was a WW II Army Veteran in the 2nd Inf. 5th division, serving in Iceland, British Isles, France and Germany. He is a 1931 Alpha (IL) High graduate.

Mrs. Wilma B. Faulkner, 87, of 717 Florence Ave. Galesburg IL, died at 9:15 AM Friday January 26, 2001 at Marigold Health Care Center, Galesburg, IL. Her funeral will be 11:30 AM Monday January 29, 2001at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel with Rev. David Seitz officiating. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Galesburg. Visitation will be from 10:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. Monday at the Chapel. Memorials may be made to First Christian Church.
She was born on June 3, 1913 in Big Clifty KY to Oscar and Rosie (Vertrees) Tuneil. She married R. Bruce Faulkner in Galesburg on February 12, 1934. He survives.
She was a salesperson in retail stores in Galesburg. She worked for the former O.T. Johnson Department Store, former Halpern's Clothing Store and the former Sieferts from 1957 to 1973 when she retired. She was a member of First Christian Church in Galesburg. She had been a President of the Older Americans of Knox in Galesburg.
She is survived by her husband, Bruce Faulkner of Galesburg IL; a son, Robert Faulkner of Effingham IL; a daughter, Barbara Harvey of Lake Villa, IL; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.

Mr. Robert Stanton Dredge, 75, of 159 Seminole Dr. Galesburg IL, died at 7:37 AM Friday January 26, 2001 at Proctor Hospital, Peoria, IL. Memorial services will be 1:30 PM Monday January 29, 2001 at the First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Norman Myer officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. to 1:30 P.M. Monday at the Church. Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church or Soangetaha Country Club Golf Fund.
He worked as an insurance agent and owned the Dredge Insurance Agency, which later became the Miller-Dredge Insurance Agency, for 50 years, retiring in 1996. He was a 1943 graduate from Galesburg High School and a 1949 graduate of Knox College in Galesburg. He was member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. He was a member and Past President of the Soangetaha Country Club. He served on the boards of the Independent Insurance Agents of Illinois, the Chicago District Golf Association, and the Knox-Galesburg Economic Development Council.
He was the 1957 Illinois State Amateur Champion, a nine time All City (Galesburg) Golf Champion, a 19 time Soangetaha Country Club Champion, and All City (Galesburg) Best Ball Champion with his brother Bill. He organized the City of Galesburg Golf Committee. He served in the US Navy as a Pilot during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Dredge of Galesburg IL; a daughter, Diane Anderson of St. Louis MO; a son, John Dredge of Atlanta GA and four grandchildren.

Charles Howard Myers, 91, 1223 Russell Avenue, Galesburg IL, died at 8:00 PM Thursday, January 25, 2001 at the Marigold Healthcare Center, Galesburg. Private family memorial service will be at Mississippi Palisades Park, Savanna IL, at a later date. Memorials may be made to the National Arbor Day Foundation's Trees in Memory, 211 N. 12th Street, Lincoln, NE 68508
He was born May 27, 1909 in Highmore SD to Frederick and Amelia (Jabe) Myers. He married Bernice L. Whitmer in 1934 in Freeport IL. She survives.
He had lived in Galesburg since 1936. He served in the Civilian Conservation Corps, building the Mississippi Palisades State Park in Savanna, IL from 1933 to 1934. He was employed at Butler Mfg. Co. for 28 years, retiring in 1972. He was a dedicated member of the United Steel Workers of America and served as past president of Local 2629. He was a longtime member of the National Arbor Day Foundation and an avid fan of wildlife, fostering a bird habitat at his home. He built birdhouses for his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife; three sons, Charles T. Myers and William F. Myers, both of Rockford IL, and David M. Myers of Inverness FL; five daughters, Mary K. Matson of Galesburg, Joan Myers Singh of Alexandria VA, Janet Benassi of Louisville CO, Constance M. Myers of Davenport, IA and Susan C. Crawford of Denver CO; one brother, Robert Myers of DeKalb IL; two sisters, Irene Zeller of Plano IL and Ruth Benolaitis of Rockford IL; 19 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

Mrs. Shirley L. Lannholm, 77, of 1211 Day Street Galesburg IL, died at 12:25 PM Thursday January 25, 2001 at Galesburg Cottage Hospital, Galesburg, IL. Her funeral will be 1:30 PM Monday January 29, 2001 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel with Rev. Joe Patterson officiating. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Galesburg. Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. Sunday January 28, 2001 at the Chapel. Memorials may be made to Emmanuel United Methodist Church.
She was born on March 16, 1923 in Aurora IL to Walter L. and Olive (Stahler) Hubbard. She married John E. Lannholm in Norfolk VA on August 6, 1943. He survives.
She was a homemaker. She graduated from Galesburg High School in 1941. She was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Galesburg. She also belonged to the Mothers and Friends of K.C.C.D.D., T.O.P.S. #408, VFW Post #2257 Auxiliary, and the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband, John Lannholm of Galesburg IL and two sons, John Lannholm and Robert Lannholm, both of Galesburg IL. A son, Roger Lannholm, and a sister preceded her in death.
