Esther had a quick wit which her family, friends and neighbors really enjoyed. During a recent trip to her doctor, Esther was afraid that the her doctor might pull her driver's license since she was 92. The doctor asked her how she got to the office, and she quickly replied, "Well, I rode my bicycle here!"

Esther's longevity has been attributed in part to a focus on a healthy diet including only organic fruits and vegetables as well as distilled water long before it became popular to do so.

She was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and never missed watching a game. She loved living in Wisconsin and was proud to be a resident of such a great state.

Esther's family is very grateful for Esther's neighbors and friends for all their friendship, care, and compassion they showed her over many years. She fondly spoke of them, and declared that she had the best neighbors anywhere! Two of these wonderful neighbors were by her side until she passed. We would like to sincerely express our appreciation to all of these friends as well as staff at Linden Grove Rehab Center for the loving care they provided to our sister and aunt.
