Everett Dale Hart

84 year old Mt. Vernon, Indiana resident, Everett Dale Hart, died Saturday, October 2nd, 2004 at his home. He was a retired locomotive engineer with L & N Railroad, and was a World War II Army veteran.

Survivng are 3 sons, Victor and Bart both of Evansville, Indiana, and Jim of Fort Branch, Indiana; 2 step-sons, John Hamilton of Henderson, Kentucky and Don Hamilton of Mt. Vernon, Indiana; 3 brothers, Glendel and Jon both of Enfield and Thomas of Leesburgh, Virginia; and 15 grandchildren.

Funeral services for Everett Dale Hart were at 3 p.m. Tuesday, October 5th at the Elledge Funeral Home in Enfield. Burial in the Enfield Cemtery, with military rites by the combined Carmi VFW and Carmi American Legion Posts.

Visitation was from from 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 5th until the time of service at the Elledge Funeral Home in Enfield.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, and will be accepted at the Elledge Funeral Home in Enfield.

Eugene P. Tate

87 year old Grayville resident, Eugene P. Tate, died Friday, October 1st, 2004 at Riverpoint Health Campus in Evansville, Indiana. He had worked as a machinist at McCoy Machine Shop in Grayville, and later was self-employed. He was also a WW II Navy Veteran.

Surviving are a son, Sherill Tate of Longview, Texas; a daughter, Marcella Tate of Dallas, Texas; 2 brothers, Virgil Lee Tate of Gurnee, Il. and Willard Tate of California; 6 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Eugene P. Tate were at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 5th at the Cook Funeral Chapel in Grayville. Burial in Oak Grove Cemetery with military rites at the gravesite.

Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. Monday, October 4th at the Cook Funeral Chapel in Grayville.

Lois Newman

90 year old Wayne City resident, Lois Newman, died at 2:49 a.m. Saturday, October 2nd, 2004 at her home. She was a retired beautician.

Surviving are a son, Morris of Wayne City; 3 daughters, Marcia Keele, Diana Wood and Patricia Schumm all of Wayne City; a daughter-in-law, Donna Kay Newman of Wayne City; 9 grandchildren, 8 step-grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 22 step-great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren and 4 step-great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Lois Newman were at 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 5th at the Archie L. Sanders Memorial Chapel in Wayne City. Burial in Thomason Cemetery.

Visitation was after 6 p.m. Monday, October 4th at the Richardson Funeral Home in Wayne City.

Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Good Samaritan Hospice.

Glaydath Leota Elliott

83 year old Noble resident, Glaydath Leota Elliott, died at 1:15 a.m. Saturday, October 2nd, 2004 at Burgin Manor in Olney. She was retired seamstress at Johnnye Manufacturing in Albion after 30 years.

Surviving are a son, Ronald E. Elliott of Noble; 1 grandson, 3 step-grandchildren and 8 step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Glaydath Leota Elliott were at 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 5th at the Ingram Funeral Home in Albion. Burial in Graceland Cemetery in Albion.

Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. Monday, October 4th at the Ingram Funeral Home in Albion.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southeastern Illinois.

Dalyn Kyle Weaver

Dalyn Kyle Weaver, newborn of Marlene and Jonathan Weaver died at 1:01 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 30th, 2004 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon.

Survivors include parents, Jonathan & Marlene Weaver of Xenia; a brother Tyler Weaver at home; Maternal grandparents, Myron & Edith Heatwole of North Lawrence, PZ; paternal grandparents, Vernon & Anna Weaver of Bluford, and step-great grandmother, Barbara Weaver of New Holland, PA.

Graveside Services for Dalyn Kyle Weaver were at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 4 in the Orchardville Mennonite Church Cemetery.

The York Funeral Home in Wayne City was in charge of the arrangements.

Katie M. Johnson

84-year-old rural Keenes, Ill. resident, Katie M. Johnson died at 10:08 Thursday evening, Sept. 30, 2004 at her home.

Survivors include three sons, Laverne, Danny and Leon Johnson all of Keenes; three daughters, Joyce Chapman of Bluford, Barbara McKinney and Carolyn Keen both of Keenes; one brother, Dale Rapp of Springfield, 25 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Katie M.Johnson were at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 4th at Archie L. Sanders Memorial Chapel at Wayne City.

Visitation was after 6 p.m. Sunday at the Richardson Funeral Home in Wayne City.

Genevieve Gage

85-year-old Rt. 2 Dahlgren resident, Genevieve Gage died at 9:50 Thursday morning, Sept. 30, 2004 at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro.

Survivors include sons, Herbert, Lewis and Keith Gage, all of Dahlgren, daughters, Carolyn Rubenacker of Dahlgren, Kay Lowery of Bicknell, Ind., and Judy Hastings of Dahlgren; 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildrn also survive.

Funeral services for Genevieve Gage were at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, at the Gholson Funeral Home in Dahlgren with burial in the Oddfellows Cemetery at McLeansboro.

Visitation was from 5 til 8 Friday evening, Oct. 1, at the Gholson Funeral Home in Dahlgren.

Wilma C. Kimbrell

86 year old resident of Wayfair Restorium in Fairfield, formerly of Albion, Wilma C. Kimbrell, died at 9 a.m. Friday, Dec. 3rd, 2004 at Wayfair Restorium in Fairfield.

Surviving are 3 sons, Gerald of Bloomington, Indiana, Harold Duane of Windsor, Missouri and Vernon Kimbrell of Ellery; 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Wilma C. Kimbrell were at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 6th at Nale's Funeral Home in Albion. Burial in Graceland Cemetery.

Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5th at Nale's Funeral Home in Albion.

Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.

Misty Flannigan

45 year old Dahlgren resident, Misty Flannigan, died at 11:03 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 2nd, 2004 at Good Samaritan Regional Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Il. She had worked as a beautician.

Surviving are her husband Donald; 4 sons, Chalon, Colby, Chadlee and Challis Flannigan all of Dahlgren; a daughter, Caleia Flannigan of Dahlgren; her mother, Ruth Ladd of Chaffee, Missouri; 4 sisters, Glinda Seabaugh of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Stephanie Thompson of Chaffee, Missouri, Vanessa Murry of Sedgewickville, Missouri and Junell Parrett of Dupo, Il.; a brother, Elvin Earl Ladd Jr. of Jackson, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Misty Flannigan were at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5th at the Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro. Burial in Prospect Cemetery east of Dale, Il.

Visitation was from 6-9 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4th at the Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro.

Nancy L. Anniss

89-year-old Ellery resident, Nancy L. Anniss died at 3:24 Thursday morning, Dec. 2, 2004 at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney. She was a homemaker and had worked as a clerk at Stewart's Store for 15 years.

Survivors include three daughters, Kate Michels of Ellery, Wilma Pollman of Albion and Alice Fay Hering of Bone Gap; five grandsons, five granddaughters, and 17 great-grandchildren also survive.

Services for Nancy L. Annis were at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4 at Nales Funeral Home in Albion with burial in Graceland Cemetery.

Visitation was from 6 til 8 Friday evening, Dec. 3, at Nales Funeral Home in Albion.

Memorials may be made to the Edwards County senior Citizens.

Helen Louise Kennard

84-year-old Grayville resident, Helen Louise Kennard died at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30th, 2004 at Deaconess Hospice Care Center in Evansville, IN.

Survivors include a son, Donald R. Kennard of North Barrington, IL, one daughter, Kay E. Jamieson of Western Australia, four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

Graveside services for Helen Louise Kennard were at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 4 at Graceland Cemetery.

Visitation was at 9 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at Nales Funeral Home in Albion.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

Julia B. Malone

90-year-old Cisne resident, Julia B. Malone died at 5:10 Tuesday evening, Nov. 30, 2004 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. She had worked at the Meadow Gold Creamery in Muncie, Ind. and later was a bookeeper for the family business - Malone's Front End Alignment in Muncie, Ind.

Survivors include special friends, William and Robin Atwood of Flora, and her extended family, Ira and Wanda Simmons family and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Julia B. Malone were at 10:30 Saturday, Dec. 4, at the Hosseltono Funeral Home in Cisne with burial in Cisne Cemetery.

Visitation was from 5:30 until 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3, at the Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne.

Memorials may be made to the Cisne Christian Church or the Flora Healthcare Activity Department.
