William Earl Reed

81-year-old Cisne resident, William Earl Reed died at 1:15 Friday morning, August 13, 2004 at his home.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Reed of Cisne; two sons, Robert Reed of Cisne and Gary Reed of Geff; one sister, Mildred Kautz of Flora and two grandchildren.

Funeral services for William Earl Reed will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 13 at the Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne. Burial at Cisne Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 15 at Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne.

Memorials may be made to the Blue Point Free Will Baptist Church in Cisne.

Lillian May Aylsworth

99-year-old Crossville resident, Lillian May Aylsworth died Thursday, Sept. 23, 2004, at Wabash Christian Retirement Center in Carmi. She had been a homemaker and was a member of the United Methodist Church of Crossville and a past member of the Better Homes Club.

Survivors include three cousins, Louise Tilman, Mildred Grossman and Doris Kellans, all of Evansville, Indiana.

Funeral services for Lilliam May Aylsworth will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 26, at the Cook Funeral Chapel in Crossville with burial in Alexander Memorial park in Evansville, Ind. at 4 p.m.

Visitation will be from 4 til 7 Saturday evening, Sept. 25, at the Cook Funeral Chapel in Crossville.

Laura Irwin

83-year-old Dahlgren resident, Laura Irwin died at 11:45 Tuesday evening, Sept. 21, 2004, at St. Mary's Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon. A homemaker, she was a former seamstress for Elder Manufacturing.

Survivors include her husband, Willie Irwin of Dahlgren, a daughter, Karen Hamilton of Mount Vernon; a grandson, Daniel hamilton of Mount Vernon, one grand-daughter, Laura Hamilton of Mount Vernon; three sisters, Betty Richard and Earlene Anderson of Mount Vernon and sue Ann Daniels of Centralia; a sister-in-law, Ruth Glatz of Mount Vernon.

Funeral services for Laura Irwin will be 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 24 at the Dahlgren Baptist Church with burial in the IOOF Cemetery at Dahlgren.

Visitation will be from 6 til 8 Thursday evening, Sept. 23, at the Harre Funeral Home in Dahlgren.

Memorials may be made to the Dahlgren Baptist Church or KID - (Kind Interventions for Dialysis) Account and will be accepted at the Harre Funeral Home in Dahlgren.

Burl Bozarth

89-year-old Wayne City resident, Burl Bozarth died at 11:48 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21st, 2004 at his home. He was a retired farmer and oilfield worker.

Survivors include sons, Chester of Oswego, Il., and Connie of Keenes; daughters, Jean McSorley of Wayne City and Brenda Powell of Wilmington, Il; a brother, Robert of Cisne; sisters, Beulah Austin of Fairfield, Mollie Austin of Wayne City and Gladys Donoho of Salem; nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Burl Bozarth will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, at the Richardson Funeral Home in Wayne City with burial in Thomason Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 24, at the Richardson Funeral Home inWayne City.

Rufus Duckworth

94-year-old Springerton resident, Rufus Duckworth died Tuesday evening, Sept. 21, 2004 at WayFair Nursing Home in Fairfield. He lived and farmed for most of his life, and was a member of the Ashland Christian Church near Springerton.

Survivors include his wife, verna Lee; a son, Charles A. Duckworth of Fairfield; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; a brother, George Duckworth of Marthasville, Mo., a sister, Ann McKay of Carmi.

Services for Rufus Duckworth will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, at the Elledge Funeral Home in Enfield with burial in Hammack Cemetery in Springerton.

Visitation will be from 5 til 7 Friday evening, Sept. 24, at the Elledge Funeral Home in Enfield.

Ronald Dale McDuffee

36-year-old Fairfield resident, Ronald Dale McDuffee died at 10 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2004, at the VA Hospital in Marion. He had been a student. He enlisted in the Navy in 1988, and served until 1992.

Survivors include his father, Elmer McDuffee of Fairfield; three brothers, J.C. McDuffee of Fairfield, Raymond McDuffee of Newburgh, Ind., and Randy McDuffee of Elgin, Il.

Funeral services for Ronald Dale McDuffee will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, at the Johnson Funeral Home in Fairfield with burial in the Veteran's Section of Maple Hill Cemetery with full military rites at the gravesite.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, until the time of service at the Johnson Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Karolita Kay Hagerstrom

60-year-old Flora resident, Karolita Kay Hagerstrom died at 1 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 23, 2004, at Good Samaritan Regional Health Center in Mount Vernon.

Survivors include her mother, Virginia Hagerstrom of Flora; a brother, Stan Hagerstrom of Neoga, Il., a sister, Robin Randol of Wylie, Tx., nieces and nephews, Nicol Brian of Houston,Tx., Sarol Randol of Waco, Tx., Calvin Hagerstrom of Effingham, Josh Hagerstrom of Champaign, Il., and Tyler Hagerstrom of Neoga.

Funeral services for Karolita Kay Hagerstrom will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 26, at the Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora with burial in Elmwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 til 8 Saturday evening, Sept. 25, at the Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora.

Frank M. Jones

80 year old resident of Zenith, Il., Frank M. Jones, died at 2:35 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4th, 2004 at the Flora Pavilion Nursing Home. He was a retired farmer.

Surviving are 2 sisters, Pauline Rodgers of Flora and Nadine Dagg of Sandoval; and 2 brothers, Bernard Talbert of Cisne and Howard Jones of Rock Falls, Il.

Funeral services for Frank M. Jones will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11th at the Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne. Burial in Henson Cemetery at Zenith, Il.

Visitation from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 10th at the Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne.

Blanche M. Truran

89 year old Mt. Vernon, Il. resident, Blanche M. Truran, died at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4th, 2004 at St. Mary's Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Il.

Funeral services for Blanche M. Truran will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 9th at the Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, Il. Burial in Maplewood Cemetery in Marion.

Visitation from 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 9th until the time of service at the Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, Il.

Wilma C. Kimbrell

86 year old resident of Wayfair Restorium in Fairfield, formerly of Albion, Wilma C. Kimbrell, died at 9 a.m. Friday, Dec. 3rd, 2004 at Wayfair Restorium in Fairfield.

Surviving are 3 sons, Gerald of Bloomington, Indiana, Harold Duane of Windsor, Missouri and Vernon Kimbrell of Ellery; 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Wilma C. Kimbrell will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 6th at Nale's Funeral Home in Albion. Burial in Graceland Cemetery.

Visitation from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5th at Nale's Funeral Home in Albion.

Misty Flannigan

45 year old Dahlgren resident, Misty Flannigan, died at 11:03 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 2nd, 2004 at Good Samaritan Regional Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Il. She had worked as a beautician.

Surviving are her husband Donald; 4 sons, Chalon, Colby, Chadlee and Challis Flannigan all of Dahlgren; a daughter, Caleia Flannigan of Dahlgren; her mother, Ruth Ladd of Chaffee, Missouri; 4 sisters, Glinda Seabaugh of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Stephanie Thompson of Chaffee, Missouri, Vanessa Murry of Sedgewickville, Missouri and Junell Parrett of Dupo, Il.; a brother, Elvin Earl Ladd Jr. of Jackson, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Misty Flannigan will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5th at the Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro. Burial in Prospect Cemetery east of Dale, Il.

Visitation from 6-9 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4th at the Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro.

Nancy L. Anniss

89-year-old Ellery resident, Nancy L. Anniss died at 3:24 Thursday morning, Dec. 2, 2004, at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney. She was a homemaker and had worked as a clerk at Stewart's Store for 15 years.

Survivors include three daughters, Kate Michels of Ellery, Wilma Pollman of Albion and Alice Fay Hering of Bone Gap; five grandsons, five granddaughters, and 17 great-grandchildren also survive.

Services for Nancy L. Annis will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4 at Nales Funeral Home in Albion with burial in Graceland Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 til 8 Friday evening, Dec. 3, at Nales Funeral Home in Albion.

Memorials may be made to the Edwards County senior Citizens.
