MARJORIE DIEDRICH, 80, Palmyra, died Tuesday, May 11, at his home. He was a native of Louisville, a retired administrator for the New Albany-Floyd County School Corp. and a member of Indiana Association of Area Vocational Districts Inc., Indiana Association for Adult and Continuing Education and Edwardsville United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, the former Pat Royster; a son, Stephen T. Paul; a daughter, Dana J. Paul; a daughter, Dana J. Paul; and brothers Claude G. II and Robert E. Paul. Services were conducted Friday, May 14, at his church with entombment in Resthaven Memorial, Louisville. Market Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville was in charge of arrangements. Expressions of sympathy should go to his church, Hospice of Southern Indiana or Goodwill Industries.

ROBERT GUNTERMAN FERREE, 73, Lanesville, died Monday, May 17, at Caritas Hospital in Louisville, Ky. He was a native of Louisville, Ky., a retired Colonel of the US Army, former employee of Celanese Pipe in Louisville, Ky., past commander of Falls of Rough VFW Post, a graduate of the University of Louisville, and a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. Servivors include two sons, Gregory Shircliff of Elizabeth and Steven Shircliff of Lanesville; a daughter, Connie Neely of New Albany; 11 grandchild; and 10 great-grandchildren. Services were conducted Wednesday, May 19, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Axtel, Ky. with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Louisville, Ky. Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg, Ky. was in charge of arrangements.

MILDRED AILENE BARKER, 82, Georgetown, formerly of New Albany, died Monday, May 17, at his home. He was a lineman for the town of Pendleton for 35 years, a World War II veteran having served with the Military Police, and a graduate of Little York High School. Survivors include his wife, the former Donna M. Davis; two daughters, Deborah L Henderson of Lake Worth, Fla. and Landis J. Robinson of Pendleton; a son, Gerald F. Mount of Pendleton; a sister, Maxine Walton of Scottsburg; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services were conducted Wednesday, May 19, at Wilson St. Pierce Funeral Home with burial in Grove Lawn Cemetery, Pendleton. Expressions of sympathy should go to St. Johns Hospice, Anderson.

GLADYS M. CARTER, 87, Sellersburg, died Monday, May 10, at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville. She was a native of Louisville, a retired beautician and a member of Charlestown Christian Chruch. Survivors include a son, Lawrence Olinick; five grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Services were conducted Thursday, May 13, at Grayson Funeral Home with entombment in Resthaven Memoial, Louisville.

HOLLY N. FORBES, 34, Corydon, died Friday, May 14, at Longworth Villa Healthcare Center. She was a native of Jefferson County, a former caregiver and a member of North Charlestown Church of God. Survivors include three sons, William A., Steven, and Michael Bates; a daughter, Irene Manaugh; 10 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. A graveside service was conducted Monday, May 17, at Charlestown Cemetery. Grayson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

MICHAEL S. DOYLE, 64, Sellersburg, died Sunday, May 9, at Washington County Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Salem Chruch of Christ. Survivors include a daughter, Jeanne Fleenor; a sister, Mildred Bush; and two grandchildren. Services were conducted Wednesday, May 12, at Weathers Funeral Home with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery.

CHEROKEE ROSE SMITH, Pekin, infant daughter of Jeffery D. Smith and Terri J. Gibson, died at his home on Thursday, May 6. A Scott County native, he was a retired carpenter. Survivors include his widow, the former Martha Amos; two sons, Kenneth Alsup and Haskell Alsup, both of Scottsburg; three daughters, Judy Napier and Bonnie Simms, both of Scottsburg, and Margaret Hobbs of Indianapolis; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. The funeral was conducted on Sunday, May 9, at the Stewart Funeral Home in Scottsburg. Bro. Larry DeWitt officiated. Burial was in Scottsburg Cemetery.

PAULINE F. ISENHOWER, 64, Crothersville, born in Scott County and was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons, Steve Isenhower of St. Louis, Mo., Jerry Isenhower of Fishers and Eugene Isenhower of Crothersville; a daughter, Sharon Morris of Beech Grove; a sister, Wilma Stutsman of Scottsburg; and six grandchildren. The funeral was conducted on Monday, May 10, at Adams Funeral Home in Crothersville. The Rev. Jerry Begley officiated. Burial was in Crothersville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be arranged through the staff of the funeral home to benefit her church.
