Darle E. Enyeart
Darle E. Enyeart, 86, of Largo, Fla. died October 16, 2005 at Hospice of the Florida Suncoast. He was born in Pennington, Ark., and lived in Knox and Crown Point for over 60 years. He retired as a journeyman after 27 years in the tool and die department of Ford Motor Co. He was a member of the First United Church of Clearwater, Fla. and United Auto Workers Local # 588, in St. Petersburg, Fla. He enjoyed listening to big band music and working on cars and tractors. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Mae; two daughters: Sharon Greene of St. Louis, Mo., and Jan Van Hoy of Palm Harbor, Fla.; two sons: Dr. DeWayne Enyeart of Olympia, Wash., and Bob Enyeart of Alpharetta, Ga.; a sister, Rosemary Frye of South Bend; and a brother, Larry Enyeart of Goshen. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and a great-grandson. A second memorial service will be held in June 2006 in Knox, Ind.

Francis F. 'Bunk' Lincoln
February 21, 1942 - November 24, 2005
Services for Francis F. "Bunk" Lincoln, 63, of Logansport, were held at 11 a.m. Monday in Kroeger Funeral Home. He died at 6:40 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 24 at his residence. Born Feb. 21, 1942, in Winamac, he was the son of Frank and Vesta (Walters) Lincoln. "Bunk" or "Link", as he was sometimes known, retired from Nelson Tubing. He enjoyed wood crafting, playing cards and music. He especially enjoyed his grandchildren. Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Christine Michelle Lincoln, Jacksonville, Fla.; four daughters, Debbie Lincoln and Tammy Baumgardner, both of Lakeland, Fla., Kim [Ernesto] Monroe, Huntingburg, and Venessia (Lincoln) Adams, Logansport; four brothers, Ray [Theresa] Lincoln, Logansport, John [Myra] Lincoln, Sterling, Ill., Wayne Lincoln, California, and Dick, Alabama; seven sisters, Karen [Jerry] Glenn, Logansport, Judy [Oddie] Harris, Delphi, Bev Hansell, Winamac, Barb Scott, LaPorte, Mary of Seymore, Linda of Alabama and Glenda of Goshen; 10 grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Two sisters, Margaret Campbell and Janet Reinke; and one son-in-law, Leroy Adams, preceded him in death. District Elder Aaron L. Boyd and Elder Aaron L. Boyd officiated at the services. Burial will be private.

Anna Mae Begley-Reames
June 26, 1918 - Nov. 28, 2005
Anna Mae Begley-Reames, 87, of Monticello, died Nov. 28 at the Monticello Assisted Living and Healthcare Center. She was born June 26, 1918 in Jefferson Township, Pulaski County, and was the daughter of William and Emma (Linback) Field.
She was married to Marian Van Meter in 1936, he is deceased, she then married A.D. Begley in 1950, he died in 1978. On Nov. 23, 1993 she married Leroy E. Reames in Monticello, he is also deceased. Mrs. Begley-Reames retired after 45 years of service at RCA in Monticello. She was a member of Monticello Christian Church. She loved fostering children. She enjoyed bowling and had participated in league bowling
She is survived by two sons, Donald [Karen] Van Meter of Monon, and Steve [Ginny] Reames of Rensselaer, also surviving are eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three husbands, two brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 30, at Fisher-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home in Monticello, with Rev. Chris Dodson officiating. Burial will take place at Riverview I.O.O.F. Cemetery near Monticello.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Monticello Christian Church.

Hugh Vincent Stearns
July 8, 1936 - November 27, 2005
Hugh Vincent Stearns, 69 of Winamac, died Nov. 27 at Pulaski Memorial Hospital. He was born July 8, 1936 in Chicago to Lemuel Vincent and Elizabeth Kathryne (Shulz) Stearns.
Hugh was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus in Winamac. He had served in the U.S. Army. He had worked at North Express, Davis Plumbing and Heating and Galbreath Inc., all of Winamac. He enjoyed woodworking and fishing. He also enjoyed tinkering with gadgets. Survivors include: three sons Michael [Carla] Stearns of Clarks Hill, Paul [Susan] Stearns of Argos, and Victor [Judy] Stearns of LaPorte, and a daughter Mary Stringer of Portage. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, four sisters Elizabeth Myers of Winamac, Mary Agster of Littleton, Colo., Veronica Bolletta of Hannibal, Mo., and Diana Janda of Hobart, and two brothers Charles Stearns of Angola and David Stearns of Schererville.
Funeral services will take place at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Winamac on Thursday, December 1 at 11 a.m., with Father John Mencsik officiating. Burial will take place in St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery in Winamac.
Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Wednesday and after 8 a.m. on Thursday at the Frain Mortuary in Winamac. A scriptural Wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. The VFW and the American Legion will conduct military graveside services.

Mrs. Betty Simon
November 28, 2005
Mrs. Betty Simon, 77, of Winamac died Nov. 28 at 1:30 p.m. in the Pulaski Health Care Center in Winamac.
Arrangements are pending at Frain Mortuary in Winamac.

Archie C. Saltsman
September 9, 1925 - November 21, 2005
Archie C. Saltsman, 80, of Medaryville died Nov. 21 at Carle Hospital in Urbana, Ill. He was born Sept. 9, 1925 in Medaryville and was the son of Hallie and Edna (Brick) Saltsman.
On June 1, 1958 in Medaryville he married Pearlie Vires, she died Oct. 23, 2003.
Mr. Saltsman was a welder and is retired from Galbreath, Inc. in Winamac. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his grandson.
Funeral services were held Nov. 26 at Querry-Ulbricht Funeral Home in Francesville, with Elder Tod Masters officiating. Burial took place in Independence Cemetery in Medaryville.

Robert L. Wright Sr.
December 16, 1936 - November 28, 2005
Robert L. Wright Sr., 68, of Royal Center died Monday Nov. 28 at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne. He was born Dec. 16, 1936 in Rochester to Harry L. and Dorothy (Knight) Wright.
On Oct. 6, 1956, he married Katherine S. Hurlburt in Athens, she survives.
He was a retired foreman at T. M. Morris Mfg. in Logansport and liked to hunt and fish. He was a carpenter and was proud of his Cherokee heritage.
Survivors along with his wife are a son, Robert L. Wright Jr. and his companion Tammy of Logansport, two daughters, Dianna [Troy] Johns also of Logansport and Pamela [Kaye] Becker of Plymouth.
Also surviving are five sisters; Vicki, Sue, Carol, Phyllis and Brenda all of Rochester, and four grandchildren: Matthew, Tiffany, Holly and Ashley. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Janice.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 1 at 1 p.m. at Harrison-Metzger Funeral Home in Royal Center, with Rev. Nord Zootman officiating.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of services. Burial will take place at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, located at Bruce Lake.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association.

Anna B. Miller
January 20, 1935 - November 30, 2005
Anna B. Miller, 70, 4653 South 275 West, Winamac died November 30, 2005 at 3:45 p.m. at Starke Memorial Hospital in Knox. She was born January 20, 1935 in Terre Haute, and was the daughter of Jesse and Mae Marie (Park) Morris.
On June 9, 1956 she married Robert D. Jackson. On February 24, 1977, in Winamac, she married Adrian P. Miller, who survives.
Anna was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Christian Mother's Society, Pulaski. She was a member of the Winamac Chamber of Commerce and had served as secretary for 10 years. She graduated from Lowell High School and attended Gary Methodist School of Nursing.
Mrs. Miller was the former owner of Jackson Quality Drug Store in Winamac for many years. She loved oil painting and had won several awards for her work. She also enjoyed cooking, gardening and fishing with her husband. Her grandchildren were the love of her life.
Survivors, along with her husband Adrian, are a daughter, Kathy [Ron] Scott and a son, Michael R. Jackson, both of Winamac; three stepsons: David A. [Carol] Miller of Brookston, Thomas A. Miller of Winamac, and James A. [Christine] Miller of Lebanon; two stepdaughters: Mary Beth [Tom] Schmicker and Rose Ann [Jim] Bulington, both of Winamac. Also surviving are 25 grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and two brothers.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, December 3, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pulaski with Father Ron Schiml officiating. Burial took place in St. Joseph Cemetery South, located at Pulaski. Frain Mortuary in Winamac was in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Pulaski Community Christmas Light Fund.

Doris Mae Hazlett
August 7, 1926 - November 29, 2005
Doris Mae Hazlett, 79, of Medaryville, died November 29, 2005 in Woodlawn Hospital at Rochester. On January 31, 1954 in Monticello, she married Theodore "Ted" Hazlett,Sr.; he survives.
Funeral services were held Monday, December 5, 2005 at the Medaryville United Methodist Church with Pastor Kevin DeKoninck officiating. Burial took place in the White Post Cemetery located in Medaryville.
Querry-Ulbricht Funeral Home in Francesville was in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Medaryville United Methodist Church.
