Mrs. Schmitt was born on January 5, 1910 in Huntington, Indiana to John A. and Margaret Eisenhauer Nix. Her parents preceded her in death.
Mrs. Schmitt married Edward H. Schmitt on July 4, 1934 at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Huntington, IN. He preceded her in death on February 17, 1971. Mrs. Schmitt retired from Memcor, Huntington, IN. She was a member St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Huntington, IN. and Rosary Sodality.
Survivors include: 2 Sons: John Henry Schmitt, Spring, TX. and Thomas Peter Schmitt, Chandler, AZ. 2 daughters, Margaret Schnepp, Huntington, IN. and Eleanor Reust, Yoder, IN. 29 Grandchildren and 57 Great-grandchildren and 5 Great-great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: 1 son: Joseph Edward Schmitt Sr. 1 Daughter: Carol Smart.
1 brother: J. Gilbert Nix. 1 sister: Leonilla Welling and 1 grandchild.

Sister Monica Ulibarri, O.L.V.M., 101, of Victory Noll in Huntington, IN. died Thursday, November 02, 2006 at 12:35 PM, at Holy Family Heath Care Center Victory Noll, Huntington, IN.
Sister Monica was born on May 4, 1905 in Bueyeros, New Mexico to Juan and Maria Teofila Ulibarri. Her parents preceded her in death.

Sister Monica entered the congregation of Our Lady of Victory Missionary Sisters on July 16, 1927 and made first Vows on August 15, 1929. She served in the missions in the states of Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas and Utah as well as Panama. She retired to Victory Noll in 1995.

She is preceded in death by: 3 Brothers: Manuel, Santiago and Frank Ulibarri also 2 sisters Gertrudis and Canuta Ulibarri.

A Wake Service will be held at 7:00 PM on Sunday November 5, 2006 with calling one hour prior to service at Victory Noll Chapel, 1900 W. Park Drive, Huntington, Indiana.

Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, November 6, 2006 with one hour of calling prior to the mass at the Victory Noll Memorial Chapel with Rev. Thomas Fahey presiding.

Burial will be at the Victory Noll Cemetery, Huntington, IN.

Clement M. Christman, 80 of Huntington, IN, died at 9:30 AM at Norwoods Nursing Center in Huntington, IN.
Mr. Christman was born May 23, 1926, in Huntington, IN to Eugene and Teresa Hubric Christman. His parents preceded him in death.
He married Phyllis Joan Richards, January 24, 1953 in Ft. Wayne, IN. She survives and lives in Huntington, IN.
Mr. Christman was retired from The Fuller Brush Company as a salesman. He was a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Huntington, IN. He was a Veteran of the Korean War serving in the Army.
Additional survivors include: 2 daughters: Mrs. Linda Conner, Huntington, IN, Mrs. Kathy Worman, Leo, IN; 1 son: John Christman, Huntington, IN; 9 grandchildren, and 6 Great Grandchildren.
Proceeded in death by 1 grandchild and 2 brothers Richard and Carl Christman.
Calling hours will be Sunday October 29, 2006 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM with recitation of the Rosary at 4:00 PM Sunday at McElhaney- Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington, IN.
Funeral service will be Monday October 30, 2006 at 10:00 am at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church with Father Ronald Rieder officiating.

James M. Baker, 68 of Huntington, IN, died on October 17, 2006 (11:36 AM) at Hickory Creek of Huntington.
Mr. Baker was born September 10, 1938 in Huntington, IN. to Chester E. and Ruth Bowers Baker. His parents preceded him in death.
Mr. Baker married Marlene K. Miles on November 9, 1962 in Huntington, IN. Mrs. Baker survives in Huntington, IN.
Mr. Baker was a tool and dye employee at Memcor, Triad-Utrad, United Tech-Lear and Miami Tool and Dye He was a member of Faith Community Church of God. He served in the United States Air Force.
Survivors include: Two sons: Bret J. Baker, Melbourne, FL. and Brian J. Baker, Huntington, IN. 1 Brother: Doug Baker, Huntington, IN. and 1 Sister: Sharon Baker, Huntington, IN. 5 Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister: Carolyn Allen.
Calling will be on Friday, October 20, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN. 46750.

Catherine Warner, 94, passed away in her residence at Heritage of Huntington, Huntington, IN.
She was born January 10, 1912, in New Richmond, IN to James Thomas and Mary (Creahan) Parlon. Her parents preceded her in death.
Mrs. Warner married Harvey T. Warner on September 1, 1941 in St. Mary Cathedral, Lafayette, IN. He Preceded her in death January 24, 1979.
Catherine Warner was a schoolteacher at St Mary Catholic School, Huntington, IN and in the Lafayette and Kokomo School Systems. She taught a total of twenty-five years before retiring in 1971. She attended Purdue University and graduated from Ball State University with a degree in elementary education. She was a member of Saint Mary Catholic Church and the Rosary Sodality and a past member of Tri Kappa Sorority all of Huntington, IN.

Survivors are one son, James (Peggy) Warner of Roanoke, IN two daughters, Peggy (John) Hill of Plymouth and Mary (Robert) Blomeke of Huntington, IN. She has 21 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were one son, John Warner, a grandson Christopher Warner, two brothers and two sisters.
Calling hours will be 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday October 9, 2006, at McElhaney - Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington, IN.
Funeral Mass will be 10:30 AM Tuesday October 10, 2006, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 903 N. Jefferson St., Huntington, IN with Father Kenneth SJ. Sarrazine Presiding.
Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Huntington, IN.

Mrs. King was born on June 21, 1928 in Huntington, IN to Frank & Ethel (Hoss)Click. Her parents preceded her in death.

Mrs. King married Robert L. King on March 10, 1948 in Huntington,IN. He preceded her in death on May 7, 1996. Mrs. King was a homemaker and worked at Memcor in Huntington, IN.

Survivors include: 1 son: Steven King of Huntington, IN and 1 daughter, Jennifer Christman of North Manchester, IN. 1 Sister: Elizabeth Black of Springfield, OH
5 Grandchildren and 3 Great-grandchildren.

Preoceding in death are 1 Brother and 4 Sisters.

Private Graveside Services will be Saturday October 7, 2006 at the Mount Hope Cemetery Huntington, IN with Rev. Amos Albright Officiating.

Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery Huntington, IN.

Sister Rose Miller. O.L.V.M., 79, of Victory Noll in Huntington, IN died Sunday, October 1, 2006 (6:45 AM) at Holy Family Health Care Center Victory Noll, Huntington, IN.
Sister Rose Miller was born November 4, 1926 to George and Gertrude Miller.
Sister Rose entered the congregation of Our Lady of Victory Missionary Sisters on October 28, 1948 and made first vows on August 5, 1951. She served in the missions in Calafornia, Colorado, Texas, Minnesota (while she cared for her mother) and Chicago. She returned to Victory Noll in 2006 to receive nursing care until her death.

Survivors include: one sister, Zita Miller of Stillwater.

Preceded in death by her sister Honore Rolstad and 2 Brothers: Joseph Miller and Rev. James Miller.

A vigil service will be held at 7:00 PM on wednesday, October 4, 2006 with calling on hour prior to the Service at the Victory Noll Chapel 1900 W. Park Drive. Huntington, IN

Mass of Resurrection will be held at 10;30 Am Thursday Oct. 5, 2006 with calling one hour prior to mass at the Victory Noll Memorial Chapel with Rev. Thomas Fahey presiding.

Wanda L. Kiefer, Huntington, IN, died on September 30, 2006 at 1:52 PM at Parkview Huntington Hospital, Huntington, IN. Mrs. Kiefer was born on February 21, 1928 in Huntington, IN to Donald and Ethel (Minick) Lawson Kramer. Her parents preceded her in death.

Mrs. Kiefer married Ray H. Kiefer on June 7, 1947 in Huntington. He preceded her in death on July 17, 1992. Mrs. Kiefer was a homemaker.

Survivors include: 3 sons: Gary Kiefer, Larry Kiefer and Frank Kiefer all of Huntington, IN and 1 daughter, Lucy Gibson of Huntington, IN. 1 Brother Jim Kramer of Huntington, IN. 3 Sisters: Joann Kiefer of Huntington, IN; Rita Badger and Marjorie Harvey, both of Hemet, California.
Also surviving are 7 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren.
Preceding in death are two brothers: Donald Saunders and Eugene Saunders.

Calling hours will be on Tuesday October 3, 2006 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the McElhaney - Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Stan McCammon officiating.

Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery Huntington, IN. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Riley Children’s Hospital in care of the funeral home.

Sister Anna Marie Richter, O.L.V.M., 94, of Victory Noll in Huntington, IN. died Thursday, September 28, 2006 (8:40 PM), at Holy Family Heath Care Center Victory Noll, Huntington, IN.
Sister Anna Marie was born February 10, 1912 to Henry B. and Theresa (Mave) Richter. Her parents preceded her in death.

Sister Anna Marie entered the congregation of Our Lady of Victory Missionary Sisters on February 4, 1936 and made first Vows on August 3, 1939. She ministered in the states of California, Oklahoma, Utah and Indiana. She retired to Victory Noll in 1985.

Survivors include: One sister Dorothy Richter of Breese, Illinois.
Preceded in death by: two brothers Anthony Richter and Edward Richter. Two Sisters Catherine Eilers and Marie Kampwerth.

A Vigil Service will be held at 7:00 PM on Sunday, October 1, 2006 with calling one hour prior to the Service at the Victory Noll Chapel, 1900 W. Park Drive. Huntington Indiana.

Pauline Webb, 84, formerly of Huntington, IN died on Monday, September 18, 2006 at Putnam Community Medical Center, Palatka, Florida.
Mrs. Webb was born August 13, 1922 in Huntington, IN to Albert Joseph and Maude Estelle Braden Teusch. Her parents preceded her death.
Mrs. Webb married Richard Webb on February 22, 1952. He preceded her in death on May 9, 1973. Mrs. Webb was a former waitress in the restaurant business.
Survivors include: 1 Brother, Robert E. Teusch, Huntington, IN. Calvin Horne, Crescent City, Fl. a companion of many years and several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by: 1 Son: Robert Okal McCracken. 6 Brothers: Albert Teusch, Clarence Teusch, Floyd Teusch, Arthur Teusch, Russell Teusch, and Harmon Teusch.
8 Sisters: Ruth Kimmel, Berniece Waikel, Dorothy Shockome, Evelyn McClurg, Mildred L. Johnson, Lucille Amick, Alberta Myers and Rosann Bennett.

John L. Hauenstein, 77, formerly of Huntington, IN, died on Wednesday, September 6, 2006 (5:15 A.M.) at Willowbend Living Center, Muncie, Indiana.
John Hauenstein was born on November 15, 1928 in Huntington, Indiana to Laurence and Susie Catherine Anson Hauenstein. His parents preceded him in death.
Mr. Hauenstein was a 1946 graduate of Clear Creek High School. He was a 1st Lt. in the Army Infantry and served in the Korean War. He attended Huntington College, received a Bachelor’s Degree from Purdue University, and a Master’s Degree from Indiana University. He taught high school science in Martinsville; Bluffton; Niles, MI.; Oak Park-River Forest, IL and Nappanee. He attended Clear Creek Church.

Survivors include: 1 Sister: Mary Lacey, Charleston, IL. 2 Brothers: William Gene Hauenstein, Huntington, IN and Fred Hauenstein, Martinsville, IN.

There will be no visitation. A private family graveside service will be held at St. Peter’s First United Church of Christ Cemetery at a later date.

The family requests any remembrances be sent to Swiss Heritage Village, 1200 Swiss Way, Berne, IN 46711 in care of the Hauenstein Cider Press.

Ronald D. Bauer was born on February 1, 1947 in Franklin, Indiana to Donald J. and Jeanetta Possman Bauer. His father preceded him in death on January 10, 1989.
Mr. Bauer married Susan Ehler on April 22, 1967 in St. Mary Catholic Church Huntington, IN. She survives and resides in Huntington, IN.
Mr. Bauer graduated in 1965 from Huntington Catholic High School. Mr. Bauer was an Engineer/Estimator/Project Manager of the Electrical Division of Shambaugh and Son, Fort Wayne, IN. Mr. Bauer enjoyed spending time at Marble Lake in Quincy, MI.
Mr. Bauer was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, IBEW Local # 305 and the Moose Lodge # 837, Huntington, IN.
Survivors include: his mother, Jeannetta Bauer, Huntington, IN and 2 Daughters: Tina M. Feller and April R. Baker both of Huntington, IN. 1 Brother: Richard Bauer, Huntington. 4 Grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: 1 brother: Stanley Kent Bauer. 1 sister: Donna Jean Bauer Hice.

Calling hours will be on Thursday, August 31, 2006 from 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM at the McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street Huntington, IN. There will be a Vigil Service at 6:00 PM on August 31, 2006
