Marcella (Sallie) Bauer
Marcella (Sallie) Bauer, 80, Huntington, IN died at 6:15 AM, Sunday, March 13, 2005 at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne, IN.
Mrs. Bauer was born January 31, 1925 in Huntington County to Fred J. and Lucille Yerman Gill. Her parents preceded her in death.
Mrs. Bauer had been a lifelong resident of Huntington County. She resided in rural Huntington County until March 2004, when she moved into The Heritage of Huntington.
Mrs. Bauer was a homemaker and assisted her husband with his business, Bauer Bros. Excavating and Gene Bauer Excavating.
Mrs. Bauer was a 1942 graduate of Huntington Catholic High School. She married Eugene M. Bauer on June 1, 1946. He preceded her in death on March 18, 2003.
Mrs. Bauer was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and Rosary Altar Sodality; Clear Creek Extension Club, and Huntington Catholic Alumni Association.
Survivors include: 1 Daughter, Kay Bauer, Swayzee, IN and 2 Sons: Brother Kent Bauer, o.f.m., Capuchin, Saginaw, MI and Kyle W. Bauer, Walton, IN. 1 Sister: Miriam Theresa Gill, SSND of Huntington, IN.; 1 Brother: Fred J. Gill Jr., Ft. Wayne, IN. and 2 grandchildren.
Proceeded in death by 2 sisters, Bernadette Gill and Florence (Gill) Lambert and a brother, George A. Gill.
Calling hours will be Wednesday March 16, 2005 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM, with recitation of the rosary at 6:00 pm, at the McElhaney - Hart Funeral Home 715 N. Jefferson St. Huntington, IN.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM on Thursday March 17, 2005 at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 860 Cherry St. in Huntington, IN. with Father Ron Rieder , o.f.m. , Capuchin, officiating.
Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Huntington.

Harold William Kline, 76, Huntington, IN, died at, 10:45 AM Saturday March 12, 2005 at Norwood Nursing Center, Huntington, IN.
Mr. Kline was born March 12, 1929 in Huntington, IN to Arthur H. and Lovie May Payne Kline. His parents preceded him in death.
Mr. Kline married Ellen Mae Cotton in the Trinity United Methodist Church, October 28, 1950 in Huntington, IN. She preceded him in death, September 7, 1998.
He worked for 40 years in funeral work as a Funeral Director and 30 years for the former Bailey Mortuary Huntington, IN. He was a Korean War veteran serving in Korea and Japan Theater. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Huntington, IN.
Survivors include: 3 sons: Arthur H. Kline, Huntington, IN, Dale W. Kline, Roanoke, IN, Michael A. Kline, Lansing, MI; 4 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by 1 Brother Max A. Kline and 1 Sister Hazel A. Binder.

Ms.Allard was born on September 10, 1957 in Pontiac, Michigan to Roger J. and Mary Salfi Allard. Her mother survives in Michigan.
Ms. Allard worked at G. M.
Survivors include: 1 son: Rob Allard, Ft. Wayne,1 sister: Mrs. James (Sandra) Blake,Plainwell, MI. and 1 grandchild Bryona Allard.
Deceased: Father: Roger Allard, 1 sister: Theresa Allard. Maternal and Paternal grandparents.
There will be no calling.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Waterford, Michigan.

Norann Nichols 57, a resident of Norwood Nursing Home, Huntington died at 8:24 PM on Tuesday February 15, 2005 at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, IN.
Nichols was born July 21, 1947 in Chicago, IL to William and Grace Young Wolff. Her parents preceded her in death. Mrs. Nichols was married to Dwight Nichols. He survives and lives in Huntington.
Additional survivors include: 1 daughter: Tracey Howard, Huntington, IN. 1Son: Michael Tome, Huntington, IN; 2 Sisters: Sue Kveton, IL and Grace Hicks, Washington State; 1 brother Frank Wolff, IL.;5 grandchildren.

Lorraine Altenhof, 77, died Monday, February 14, 2005 at her residence in Huntington, IN.
Mrs. Altenhof was born August 30, 1927 in Chicago, IL to Wilfred "Bud" and Sophie Nowaczyk Hans. Her parents preceded her in death.
Mrs. Altenhof married Albert Louis Altenhof on August 30, 1947 in Chicago, IL. He preceded her in death on January 21, 1979.
Mrs. Altenhof was a former telephone operator for AT&T and a supervisor in sales at Our Sunday Visitor prior to her retirement. She was a member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Huntington County Women’s Club, Child Conservation Club, Newcomer’s Club, Canasta Club and a Huntington Hospital Volunteer where she served as a Pink Lady.
Survivors include: 1 Son: Mr. Ronald Altenhof, Goshen, IN. and 3 Daughters: Mrs. Thomas (Kathy) Pfister, Wolcottville, IN; Ms. Patty Altenhof, Huntington, IN. and Ms. Karen Kennedy, Goshen, IN. 6 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren
She was preceded in death by 2 Sisters: Phylis White and Irene Ford.

V. Richard (Dick) McHenry, 70, formerly of Huntington died Wednesday, February 9, 2005 at Englewood Health and Rehabilitation Center, Fort Wayne, IN.
Mr. McHenry was born October 1, 1934 in Roanoke, IN to Verl and Anna Hughes McHenry His father preceded him in death.
Mr. McHenry was a truck driver for Sunoco/Sun Oil Co., Huntington, IN. He also managed McHenry Radio Shop in Huntington, IN. He was a former member of the Shriner Car Club of Monroeville, IN.
Survivors include: His mother, Anna McHenry, Huntington, IN. 2 Sons: Richard McHenry and Stephen McHenry, both of Huntington, IN. and 2 Daughters: Sheryl Arnold and Tammi Scott both of Huntington, IN. 1 Brother: Mark McHenry, Huntington, IN. and 2 Sisters: Mrs. Ken (Janet) Suter, Fort Wayne, IN and Mrs. Steve (Charlotte) Kaylor, Huntington, IN. 8 Grandchildren and 5 Great-grandchildren.

Berniece Riseborough
Berniece Riseborough, 100, a resident of Huntington, IN died Sunday, February 6, 2005 (4:51 PM) at Wabash County Hospital, Wabash, IN.
Mrs. Riseborough was born December 8, 1904 in Huntington, IN to Eben and Cora Holmes Lesh. Her parents preceded him in death.
Mrs. Riseborough married Mark C. Riseborough on September 10, 1926. He preceded her in death on December 29, 1986.
Mrs. Riseborough graduated from Huntington North High School in 1922. She attended Oberlin Conservatory of Music for 3 years, studied piano for 3 years with George Bailhe of Ft. Wayne, In., and organ with Charles Marsh, Fago of Redlands, CA and Ft Wayne for 3 years. She also studied piano with Leo Podowsky through WW ll. In 1933 she earned The Fellowship Degree of the American Guild of Organists. She was the 2nd person, and the first woman in Indiana to earn this degree.
Mrs. Riseborough started teaching piano in 1925 and continued until her death. She was member and organist for 12 years at the former 1st Christian Church on Riverside Drive. Then she was a member and organist of the Central Christian Church for over 50 years. In 1990 she was honored by the church for 50 years of service and voted by the church board as a permanent organist of this church. She retired in 2000.
Mrs. Riseborough was a member of the former Evening Musical Club, a charter member of the MacDowell Music Club and a charter member of Sigma Etu Fine Arts Sorority.
Survivors include: 1 Son: George E. Riseborough, Lake Bluff, IL ,
2 Grandchildren: Mark C Riseborough, Chicago, IL. and Amy Gwen Riseborough, London, England and 2 Great Grandchildren.
Deceased: 2 brothers: Joseph Lesh and George Lesh. 3 sisters: Olive Smith, Mamie Warren and Beatrice Smith.
Calling will be on Friday February 11, 2005 from 3 pm to 8:30 pm at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home 715 N Jefferson St, Huntington, IN.
Funeral Services will be Saturday February 12, 2005 at 11 am with calling one hour prior to service at the Central Christian Church, 500 MacGahan Street, Huntington, IN. Dr. Samuel Young will officiate.
Memorials in lieu of flowers to the Central Christian Church.
Burial will be at Mount Hope, Huntington, IN.

Robert Renz
Robert Renz, 81, a resident of Huntington, IN died Tuesday, February 1, 2005 (11:55 AM) at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, IN.
Mr. Renz was born August 28, 1923 in Huntington, IN to Clarence and Temperance Murphy Renz. His parents preceded him in death.
Mr. Renz married Martha Belle Johnson on October 6, 1946. in the Central Christian Church, Huntington, IN. She preceded him in death on April 6, 1999.
He was the former owner of Renz Cleaners in Huntington, IN. He was a member of the Central Christian Church in Huntington, IN for 51 years where he served as a trustee. He was a member of the board of Cancer Services of Huntington County, Masonic Lodge #483 and the Shrine Temple, Fort Wayne, IN. and VFW #2689 in Huntington. He served as a Marine during WW11.
Survivors include: 2 Sons: Tim Renz, Huntington, IN and Kim Renz, Avilla, IN
1 Daughter: Marsha Renz, Fort Wayne, IN. 1 Sister: Phyllis Ellen Renz, Nashville, TN.
4 Grandchildren
Deceased: 2 Brothers: Glenwood Renz and Kendrick Renz

Mark E. Keyser, 47 of Huntington died at 3:20 PM on Sunday January 30, 2005 at Parkview Hospital in Ft Wayne.
Mark Keyser was born March 21, 1957 in Huntington, Indiana to Larry M and Jessie Warford Keyser. His mother survives.
Mark Keyser was a salesman for Byrd Auto Sales in Huntington. He was a
coach for the Huntington Pal Club, member of the Huntington Moose Lodge
Golf League, member of the Huntington Moose Lodge # 837. He was a sport announcer for HNHS Radio. He was a member of Clear Creek Church
in Huntington.
Survivors include: 1 daughter:Christa R. Keyser, Huntington. 1 Son:Braxton Keyser, Huntington, 3 Brothers: Gary Keyser, Huntington, Dewayne Keyser, Huntington and Roger Keyser, Markle. 1 Sister: Susan K. Dinkel, Greenville, SC.

Jean R. Milller formerly of Huntington died at 6:30 AM on Saturday January 29, 2005 at her home in Port Charlotte, Florida.
Mrs. Miller was born October 6, 1925 in Garrett, Indiana to Carson and Mildred Arning Schlosser. Her parents preceded her in death.
Mrs. Miller married Robert J. Miller on June 8, 1947 in Garrett, IN. He survives.
She graduated from Garrett High School in 1943. Graduated from Rush-Presbyterian Hospital, Chicago, IL. R.N. Graduated from St Francis College, B. A. Joliet, IL. A member of Cadet Nursing. She was a co-owner of Miller Pharmacy Huntington for 26 years and retiring in 1990. She worked at Coleman Hospital in Indianapolis, Huntington Memorial Hospital, and Norwood Nursing Home. She was a Co- Founder of Huntington Toastmistress Club and served as its first president. Member of Tri-Kappa Sorority and Altrusa. Member of Starlight Dance Club, Lamplighters Dance Club and Gayla Dance Club. Recipient of multiple ballroom dance awards at the International Ballroom Dance competitions, Chicago, IL. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. In Huntington.
Survivors include: 1 daughter: Deborah J. Miller, Georgetown, Maine. 3 Sons: Robert J. (Rob) Miller, Huntington, Jeffery P. Miller, Philadelphia, PA. and Scott A. Miller, Huntington, IN.

Mrs. Cundiff married Richard Cundiff on August 11, 1952. He survives.
