Iva E. Doyle
1917-2003
Mrs. Doyle was born on July 25 1917, in Clementsville, Kentucky, and was the daughter of the late Mack W. and Dollie E. Wethington.
She married Ernest Richard Doyle on June 28, 1941, in Lebanon, Indiana. Mr. Doyle died May 4, 1985.
Mrs. Doyle moved to Lebanon at age 7 and graduated from Dover High School in 1936.
Mrs. Doyle had worked at Boss Glove Factory until wartime when she stayed home with her children. For fifteen years she had worked as a sales representative for Avon Cosmetics. From 1969 she then assisted in the family business, Doyles Bait and Tackle Shop, where she retired in 1988.
A devout Catholic, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, she enjoyed her family and her work.

Visitation is planned for Wednesday, August 13, 2003, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana.
Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Lebanon, Indiana
Prayer Services will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2003, at 7:30 p.m. at Myers Mortuary.

Ervin M. Johnson
1921-2003
Mr. Johnson was born in Lehi, Arizona, on April 2, 1921. He was the son of the late James Ludwig and Annie Ruth (Manning) Johnson.
Mr. Johnson was reared and educated in Arizona. He had served in the Navy during WWII and was stationed in the South Pacific.
He was married to Pauline Agnes (Padgett) Delaney Johnson on July 4, 1953, in Carmel, Indiana. Mrs. Johnson died on August 26, 1989.
Mr. Johnson had lived in Arizona and various places before he moved to Boone County and was employed at the elevator at Rosston. Later he worked in Lebanon at Boone Grain and Seed. He last worked for Wait Grain Elevator at Westfield where he retired in 1984.
A devoted husband, he enjoyed boating, fishing, and his grandchildren.

Catherine C. Fletcher
1908-2003
Mrs. Fletcher was born in Brazil, Indiana on March 8, 1908, a daughter of the late Patrick Anthony and Agnes Mary (Ronan) Roach.
She was married in Indianapolis, Indiana on November 4, 1933, to Herbert Roy Fletcher, Jr. Mr. Fletcher died on September 1, 1976.
Mrs. Fletcher moved from Brazil to Indianapolis as a young child. She was a graduate of St. Agnes Academy in Indianapolis, Indiana. She moved to Lebanon in September 1943. She returned to study at Indiana University Extension in Indianapolis at age fifty. She then worked as a paraprofessional in Lebanon at St. Joseph Catholic School for eight years, Harney Elementary School for eight years, and in the kindergarten class at Stokes Elementary School for two years and an additional two years as a volunteer. She retired in 1983. Following retirement she had provided babysitting for various Lebanon families. She moved to live in Beach Grove in 1990 and since 1999 resided in Lafayette.
She was a devoted wife, homemaker, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed her family, friends, reading, and playing bridge. She also enjoyed children.

Verlyn M. Hine
1910-2003
Verlyn M. Hine, age 92, died Friday, January 24, at Homewood Health Campus in Lebanon, Indiana.
He was born December 17, 1910 in rural Boone County, Indiana to Cleveland and Maggie (Ottinger) Hine. He married Martha (Myers) Hine July 8, 1934 in St. Marks Lutheran Church, Whitestown. She died December 17, 1992. They had one son, Max Edward Hine, who died February 4, 1962.
He was reared and educated in Pike Township, Marion County, and was a 1929 graduate of Zionsville High School. The couple farmed in Boone County for twenty-three years. After leaving the farm in 1957, they moved to West Lafayette, Indiana where he was employed by Purdue University in the Accounting Department of the Physical Plant. Later, they moved to Monticello, Indiana, and after retirement, moved to Lebanon in 1985, residing at 1221 Fordice Road. Physical problems caused him to leave his home and he moved to Parkwood Health Care Center, Lebanon, in February 1999. In November 2000 he moved to Homewood Health Campus, Lebanon. He was a member of the New Brunswick Church of Christ in New Brunswick.
Survivors are one brother, John M. Hine; rural Lebanon, sisters-in-law Betty Hine, Lebanon, and Gladys Boshcoff, Indianapolis; and nieces Sheryl Kane, Greenville, South Carolina; Beverly Stump, Lebanon; Janis Bayless, Marietta, Georgia; and one nephew, David Hine, Dunbar, Wisconsin.

Idabelle I. Bowen
1919-2003
Mrs. Bowen was born near Whitestown in Boone County, Indiana, on February 18, 1919, a daughter of the late Grover and Hazel (Engledow) Staton.
A life-resident of Boone County, she had lived in Whitestown, Advance, and Perry Township.
Mrs. Bowen was first married in Boone County, Indiana, on July 2, 1939 to James C. Roberts. They divorced in 1946. Her second marriage was to Frank Maddox in 1950 and they divorced in 1958. In December 1966 she married Tyner James Bowen in Lebanon. Mr. Bowen died May 30, 1986.
She worked at Pitman-Moore and then in the kitchen at West-Side Cafe.
She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister. She enjoyed her family, being a homemaker, flowers, gardening, and traveling.

John D. Isenhower
1939-2003
Mr. Isenhower was born in Lebanon, Indiana, on July 6, 1939. He was the son of the late Samuel J. and Helen Marie (Hackett) Isenhower. His mother survives.
He was married to Sharon Jean (Lane) Isenhower in Lebanon, Indiana, on June 7, 1959. Mrs. Isenhower survives.
Mr. Isenhower was in the U.S. Army where he served in the 101st Air Borne from
1958 1961.
He was reared and educated east of Lebanon in the Fairview Community and graduated from Lebanon High School in 1957.
Mr. Isenhower had farmed prior to going into the service. He lived in Canoga Park, California for a year and returned to Whitestown in 1962 where he has since farmed. In addition, he worked at Rock Island Refinery from 1972-1975. He then owned and operated school buses for 28 years.
A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, he enjoyed golf and the activities and sports of his grandchildren, as well as being an avid Lebanon High School sports fan.
