Cora May Riddle

1921-2003

Mrs. Riddle was born in Boone County, Indiana, on October 30, 1921. She was a daughter of the late Earl and Mandy Opal (Scott) Byrkett.

Mrs. Riddle was reared and educated in the Whitestown community. She was a graduate of Whitestown High School in 1939. Following their marriage, the Riddle family lived in the Dover area and then in Lebanon. Following retirement they moved to Punta Gorda, Florida. In 1997 she and Mr. Riddle returned to Lebanon and after a short time moved to the Zionsville Meadows.

She was married in Boone County, Indiana, on May 12, 1939, to John Martin Riddle. Mr. Riddle died on June 24, 1998.

Mrs. Riddle was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker.

Memberships: former member of the Pleasant View Church near Whitestown, Indiana

Officiating: Rev. Raymond Duff and Chaplain Mark Graybiel

Funeral Services are planned for Wednesday, October 15, 2003, at 10:30 a.m. at Myers Chapel of Memories, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 14, 2003, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary in Lebanon, Indiana.

Entombment will be at Lincoln Memory Gardens in Boone County, Indiana.

Mrs. Riddle was born in Marion County, Indiana, on May 3, 1928. She was the daughter of the late Fred and Florence Sedam.

She was reared and educated in Indianapolis and was a graduate of Southport High School.

She was married in April 1950 to William Harvey Riddle. Mr. Riddle survives. Since their marriage they had resided in Lebanon.

Mrs. Riddle was employed for periods by the Lebanon Consolidated School District as a teacher’s aide and then at Target Stores in Indianapolis where she retired about 1990.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker and
She enjoyed cooking, baking, traveling, and watching her sons and grandsons participate in sports and activities.

Memberships: She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lebanon.

Funeral Services are to be held on Monday, August 27, 2007, at 2:00 p.m., at Myers Chapel of Memories, 1502 North Lebanon Street, Lebanon, Indiana.
Visitation will be held at Myers Mortuary on Monday, August 27, 2007, from noon to 2:00 p.m.
Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Lebanon, Indiana.

She moved to Lebanon at age seven and was a 1967 graduate of Lebanon High School.

In Indianapolis, Indiana, on July 18, 1970, she was married to Anthony “Tony” Riley. They divorced.

Ms. Riley resided in Indianapolis 1970 thru 1983 and returned to Lebanon. She was employed as a secretary at Howard Sams in Indianapolis and for a number of years she worked in financial aid administration at Indiana Technical Institute in Indianapolis.

She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She enjoyed her family, painting, and sewing. She also enjoyed volunteering at the Thorntown Art Museum.

Memberships: She had been attending the First Presbyterian Church in Lebanon

She was married in Lebanon, Indiana, on April 16, 1983, to Floyd Allen Robertson. Mr. Robertson survives.

Mrs. Robertson resided in Clarks Hill prior to moving to Lebanon where she had spent most of her life. She was a 1979 graduate of Lebanon High School.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. Mrs. Robertson enjoyed her family and home and her work for the schools.

Ms. Robison was born in Brooklyn, New York on May 18, 1950, the daughter of the late Richard Lee Robison and Fay (Turer) Robison of Indianapolis. At the age of one she moved to Noblesville, Indiana where she attended Noblesville High School. After school she moved to Linden, New Jersey where she worked in a variety of positions..

She was married in Linden, New Jersey on July 11, 1970, to Dennis Kostadinovich.

She moved Noblesville, Indiana for twelve years and back to New Jersey until 2002. She has since lived with her sister near Lebanon.

Ms. Robison was a devoted mother and enjoyed making floral arrangements, painting and drawing as an artist. She loved being a nanny, spending time with children, and helping others.

Officiating: Rev. Eric Gale

Funeral services are planned for Thursday, March 11, 2004, at 10:30 a.m. at Myers Chapel of Memories in Lebanon.

Visitation is planned for Wednesday, March 10, 2004, at Myers Mortuary in Lebanon from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Interment will follow at Robison Cemetery south of Lebanon.

Ms. Roenick was reared and educated in Petersburg, Michigan, she was a 1933 graduate of Deerfield High School.

She never married.

Ms. Roenick resided in the home of Perl and Ina McDonnell and their two daughters Lucille and Elaine were like sisters to Ms. Roenick.

She moved to Cincinnati in 1967 and for seventeen years was employed at the God’s Bible School and College. She was employed in Bedford, Indiana at Evangelist Faith Missions as a secretary for nine years. She resided in Frankfort where she had worked as a secretary for a Christian day school, Frankfort Covenant Academy, for seven years. She moved to Lebanon in June of 2000.

Ms. Roenick enjoyed her family, home and church.

Mrs. Scott was born in Decatur County, Greensburg, Indiana on March 21, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Jasper Levi and Hallie Elizabeth (Record) Turner.

Mrs. Scott was reared in Greensburg until the family moved to Indianapolis in the 1940’s. She resided there until she moved to Lebanon in 1974.

She was married to William McGuire in 1946 in Greensburg, Indiana and they divorced in 1950. In 1952 she was married in Greensburg to William F. Ricketts and they divorced in 1961. She was married on October 26, 1963 in Franklin, Indiana to Gervis Campbell Scott. Mr. Scott survives.

Mrs. Scott was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, embroidery, quilting, decorating wedding cakes and making doll clothes. She had worked for a period in Indianapolis as a restaurant waitress and cook.

Funeral Services are planned for Saturday, August 16, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. at Myers Chapel of Memories, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana.

Visitation will be on Friday, August 15, 2003, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary in Lebanon, Indiana.

Ms. Sharp worked in several capacities however she spent most of her life as a devoted homemaker and mother. She attended the Lebanon Rock Church.

Funeral Services are planned for 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 14, 2007, at Myers Chapel of Memories, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana.
