Daniel B. Wawrzyniak

Place of Death: Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana, Indianapolis
Cause of Death: He died of natural causes while recovering from a recent heart attack.

Mr. Wawrzyniak was born in St. Joseph County, South Bend, Indiana, on January 15, 1929. He was the son of the late Bert and Celia Wawrzyniak.

He was reared and educated in South Bend, Indiana where he graduated from Central Catholic High School and then matriculated to Purdue University. At Purdue he studied argriculture, served in the Army ROTC, and was a pitcher for the Boilermaker Baseball Team.

After graduating, he began work in Indianapolis where he met his first wife, Lucille Kappmeyer. After serving with the U.S. Army in Korea, Dan and Lucille settled in Lebanon in 1956 where they reared their two children.

He was married in Indianapolis, Indiana on April 18, 1953, to Lucille Marie (Kappmeyer) Wawrzyniak and she died on May 20, 1986. In Pittsboro, Indiana on February 14, 1987, he was married to Maxine (Blanton) Wawrzyniak. Mrs. Wawrzyniak survives.

Dan spent a wonderful forty-two year career working with his beloved friends at United Feeds (now JBS United) in Sheridan, Indiana selling swine feed and nutrients. He was always ready to share a joke and his knowledge and was a regular presence on the country roads throughout central Indiana where he visited farm clients and their families.

He was an avid Boilermaker and Lebanon Tiger fan. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed his family and numerous friends.

Visitation will be held at Myers Mortuary in Lebanon from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 13, 2007 and after 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
Interment will follow military rites at St. Joseph Cemetery in Lebanon, Indiana.

Mr. Wells was born in Lebanon, Indiana on January 18, 1977, the son of Wesley Wayne and Debra Darlene (Johnson) Wells.

A life-resident of Boone County, Mr. Wells graduated from Western Boone High School in 1996. He then completed a year of study in collision/refinishing technology at Wyoming Technical Institute in Laramie, Wyoming.

He had worked in various capacities in automotive restoration for dealerships and repair shops in the Indianapolis and Lebanon areas. He had particularly enjoyed painting motorcycles. In addition, he was seasonally employed by the Asplundh Tree Service of Lebanon. He had been working in Michigan at the time of his death.

In addition to being a devoted son, he was interested in music, animals and dogs, and photography.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 12, 2003, at Myers
Chapel of Memories, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana.

Mortuary in Lebanon.

Interment will be at Browns Wonder Cemetery east of Lebanon, Indiana.

Mrs. Wilhoite was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on January 28, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Marie (Isenhower) Shockley.

Mrs. Wilhoite was reared and educated in Boone County and lived most of her life in the Lebanon area. She graduated from Lebanon High School in 1949.

She was employed for 23 years at Royal Cleaners in Lebanon, Indiana. She retired on January 29, 1993.

Mrs. Wilhoite was a devoted mother, grandmother, and homemaker. In addition to her family she enjoyed her grandchildren, great grandchildren, crafts and sewing.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday September 6, 2007 at Myers Chapel of Memories, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8p.m. on Wednesday Septmber 5, 2007 at Myers Mortuary in Lebanon.

Burial will be at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon, Indiana.

Mr. Wilhoite was born in Lebanon, Indiana, on August 28, 1934. He was the son of the late Gilbert Campbell and Hope (Skomp)Wilhoite.

He was a life resident of Boone County and a Whitestown High School graduate in 1953. He played basketball and baseball in high school.

He was formerly married to Doris Marie (Smith) and they divorced.

Mr. Wilhoite was employed for many years at Pitman-Moore (Dow Chemical) in Zionsville. He was then self-employed in signage and bill boards and at the same time drove a school bus for the Eagle Union School Corporation. He last operated a lawn care service and retired about 1996 due to his health.

He enjoyed playing slow pitch softball, racing Go-Karts and his involvement in the Zionsville and Lebanon Little League programs.

He spent most of his life in the Thorntown community and a couple of years in Lebanon. He attended Western Boone Schools.

He was married in May 1979 to Sherri (Scering) and they were divorced. He later married Leslie (Wood) in April 1993 in Thorntown. She died on March 1, 1999. He married Julia E. (Ferris) Williams on October 18, 2003 in Thorntown and she survives.

Mr. Williams owned and operated Dan Williams Masonry.

He enjoyed his family, woodworking, and making models.

Officiating: Pastor Denver Fields

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, February 9, 2004, at the Thorntown Baptist Church, in Thorntown, Indiana.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 8, 2004, at Myers Mortuary in Lebanon from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Cremation is planned following services.

She was married in Indianapolis, Indiana on January 18, 1947, to Marion Herbert Wills. Mr. Wills died on March 31, 1993.

Mrs. Wills was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She worked for a period as a bartender at the V.F.W. in Lebanon.

She enjoyed bowling, Bingo, baking, and flowers.

Memberships: She was an active member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary in Lebanon where she had held most of the offices in the organization and various Sixth District offices. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Interment will follow at Lincoln Memory Gardens in Boone County.
