Helen M. Hansell, 86, of 624 East 13th Street, Winamac, IN, passed away at 2:20 AM Friday, May 8, 2009 in Pulaski Memorial Hospital, Winamac, IN.

She was born September 23, 1922, in Greencastle, IN, to John Delbert and Ethel Marie Buchanan Reed.

Helen married Charles L. Hansell on September 20, 1941 in Winamac, IN. Charles died on March 30, 2005.

Helen was a member of the First Christian Church in Winamac, IN.

She was graduate of Knox High School and lived most of her life in Winamac.

Her grandchildren were her life, even after her illness.

Survivors include:

Carol J. Huber, 77, of 10439 North 300 East, Monon, IN, passed away at 11:24 PM Thursday, May 7, 2009 at home in Monon, IN.

She was born October 4, 1931, in Fort Wayne, IN, to Jesse and Katherine Sinn Stoller.

Carol married Wayne D. Huber on November 19, 1950 in Latty, Ohio. Wayne died March 15, 1994.

Carol gave her heart to Jesus Christ when she was 16 years old and faithfully served Him until her death. She was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church in Francesville, IN.

She loved to grow roses and spend time with her family and friends.

Richard W. "Dick" Stoll, 63, of 1609 Lafayette Road, Crawfordsville, IN, formerly of Winamac, passed away at 8:40 PM Monday, May 4, 2009 at St. Clare Medical Center in Crawfordsville, IN.

He was born December 14, 1945, in Logansport, IN, to Emmett and Edna Button Stoll. Dick married Kathy Allen on May 28, 1966 in Winamac, IN. He retired from the U S Air Force in 1989 as a Captain. He served as a budget officer.

Dick was a member and past president of the Winamac Rotary Club. He was a member of the Winamac VFW Post 1728. Dick was a former assistant Boy Scout leader in Winamac.

Dick was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Winamac. He served on the Parish Council and had served as a Lay Eucharistic Minister.

Dick was a 1964 graduate of Francesville High School. He was also the 1964 Pulaski County 4-H King.

Dick received a Master of Systems degree from University of Southern California.

Dick enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, watching birds and raising horses. He was active in the Winamac community following his retirement.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM EDT Saturday, May 9, 2009, in St. Peter's Catholic Church, Winamac, with Rev. Martin Sandhage officiating.
Burial will take place in the St. Peter's Cemetery located at Winamac, IN. Military Graveside Services will be conducted.

Friends may call 3-8 PM EDT Friday, May 8, 2009 at Frain Mortuary. A Scriptural Wake Service will be held at 7:30 PM EDT on Friday at Frain Mortuary.

Memorial Contributions may be given to the ALS Association of Indiana.

Shirley M. Johnson, 63, of 1276 S St.Rd. 119, Winamac, IN, passed away at 12:12 AM Sunday, May 3, 2009 at Pulaski Memorial Hospital in Winamac, IN.

She was born August 11, 1945, in Laporte, IN, to Joseph and Rovella Podell Meister. She was married to Jimmy Earl Johnson on Nov. 27, 1971, in Knox, IN. He died on Feb. 12, 2003.

She loved Christ with all of her heart.

She also loved people, laughing, and making others laugh. She wants everyone to listen for her, she will always be there.

Alvina married Homer R. Downey on January 14, 1943, in Winamac, IN. He died on April 3, 1996.

She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Pulaski, IN, and the Confraternity of Christian Mothers.

She lived in White County most of her life.
