Etta B. C. Fultz
Etta B. Circle Fultz, 102, a resident of Peabody Retirement Community, North Manchester, died Tuesday, June 16, 1998 at Peabody Health Care. She was born Jan. 24, 1896 in Wabash County to Martin J. and Sarah (Baker) Fields.
Mrs. Fultz was a retired practical nurse. She was first married to Fred L. Circle Jan. 24, 1915, and he died Dec. 27, 1945. She then married John Fultz July 9, 1955, and he preceded her in death Oct. 25, 1960.
She is survived by five grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Two sons, a brother, a sister, and a grandchild preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Spring Creek Church of the Brethren, and a member of Kosciusko County Home Economics Club.
Friends may call at Peabody Chapel Friday, June 19, 1998, from 10:00 a.m. till time of the service at 1:00 p.m. The Rev. Charles Circle, assisted by Rev. Lester Young, will officiate for the service, and burial will be in Spring Creek Cemetery of Kosciusko County. DeLaughter-McKee Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Alice L. Bird
Alice L. Bird, 89, of 768 N. Spring St., Wabash, IN died Monday, June 15, 1998 at Community Care Center of Wabash. She was born Sept. 15, 1908 at Wabash to Adam and Cecil (Kanower) Gretzinger.
She married Francis L. Bird on May 29, 1928 in Wabash; he died August 7, 1966. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Wabash, and was a member of the Wabash O.E.S. #90 for 50 years and a member of the past Matrons Club.
Survivors include a daughter, Lois Bird Christon of Dayton, OH, and a son, William L. Bird of Fowler, IN; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Grandstaff-Hentgen Main Street Chapel two hours prior to the funeral, which will be held at the chapel Thursday, June 18, 1998 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Mark Zerkel officiating.
Preferred memorials are to the Donor's Choice. Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service is in charge of ar rangements.

Grace E. DuBois
Grace E. DuBois, 94, a resident of Peabody Retirement Community, North Manchester, died Sunday, June 14, 1998 at Wabash County Hospital. She was born Sept. 27, 1903 at Detroit, MI to Frank and Melinda (Martin) Morgan.
Grace E. Morgan married Marvin W. DuBois May 16, 1929 in Detroit, MI. He died Nov. 23, 1988. They moved to Wabash, IN from Huntington Woods, MI in 1983. She was a homemaker and a member of the Southfield, Michigan Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by a son, Richard M. DuBois of Wabash, IN; two grandchildren and four great grand children. A sister and a brother preceded her in death.
Funeral service was held today, Wednesday, June 17, 1998 at Peabody Chapel, with the Rev. Robert Schmeiser officiating. Burial took place in Friends Cemetery of Wabash.
Preferred memorials are to Peabody Retirement Community. Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements.

Sharron K. Rebholtz
Sharron K. Rebholtz, 57, of 11628S 700W, Amboy, IN died Monday, June 15, 1998 at her residence. She was born Oct. 26, 1940 at Pierceton, IN to Chester and Ella (Vanderpool) Carpenter. She married Phillip Rebholz in Somerset, IN on Feb. 2, 1960.
She was a member of the College Corner Brethren Church, and was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband Phillip of Amboy; three sons - Mitchell of Wabash, Todd of Somerset, and Matt of Wabash; a brother, Steven Carpenter of Jasper, IN, and a sister Melodie Goff of North Manchester; and 11 grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, June 18, 1998 at 10:30 a.m. at the Grandstaff-Hentgen Manchester Ave. Chapel, with Pastor Jim Black officiating. Burial will be in the Mississinewa Cemetery, located at Somerset, IN.
Preferred memorials are to the American Heart Association. Grandstaff-Hentgen Manchester Ave. Chapel was in charge of arrangements.

Claris Lee O'Connell
Claris Lee O'Connell, 75, of 7784N 200W, Laketon, IN died Saturday, June 13, 1998 at his residence. He was born Feb. 10, 1923 at Rochester, IN to Clarence and Goldie (Bryant) O'Connell.
He was a World War II Navy veteran, and was retired from GenCorp of Wabash after 35 years service. He was a member of the American Legion Post #15 of Wabash.
He married Marjorie M. Patkus March 29, 1947 and she survives, along with two sons, Danny L. O'Connell of Kokomo, IN and Michael D. O'Connell of New Paris, IN; two sisters - Mrs. George (Ina Belle) Traver of Lafontaine, IN and Mrs. Joe (Sharon) Morris of Rochester, IN; three grand children and a great-grandchild. A sister preceded him in death.
Funeral service was held Tuesday, June 16, 1998 at DeLaughter-McKee Mortuary of North Manchester, which was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in Athens Cemetery, Athens, IN. The Rev. Don Fisher officiated.

Raymond L. Whitmyre
Raymond L. Whitmyre, 85, of 570 N. Anna St., Wabash, IN died Friday, June 12, 1998 at Wabash Healthcare Center. He was born Apr. 17, 1913 at Laketon, IN to David and Laura (Zimmerman) Whitmyer.
He married Mary J. Thomas on July 27, 1934, in Roann, IN; she died June 30, 1995. He was a member of the Bachelor Creek Church of Christ, and the Dana Sympathy Club. He worked for Dana Corporation in Marion, IN for 22 years, retiring in 1975.
He is survived by a son, Thomas Whitmyer of Wabash; two granddaughters and six great grandchildren. Four brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
Funeral service was held Tuesday, June 16, 1998 at Grandstaff-Hentgen Main St. Chapel, Wabash, which was in charge of arrangements. The Rev. John Leinbaugh officiated and burial was in Falls Cemetery of Wabash. Preferred memorials are to Bachelor Creek Church of Christ.

Roger A. Marsh
Roger A. Marsh, 76, of 1702 Villa Court, North Manchester, died Wednesday, June 10, 1998 at his residence. He was born Oct. 22, 1921 at Cumberland, WI to Harry A. and Esther (Mills) Marsh, Sr., both deceased. He married Marjorie H. Schaaf July 19, 1941, and she survives. He was retired from Manchester Foundry after 35 years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Randall J. Marsh of Venice, FL; a daughter, Mrs. Tom (Janet) Roth of North Manchester; a brother, Howard J. Marsh of Columbia City, and a sister, Thelma Hill of Fort Wayne; four grandchildren, one step grandchild, and five great-grandchildren. Three brothers preceded him in death.
DeLaughter-McKee Mortuary was in charge of arrangements, and preferred memorials may be made to the Wabash County Cancer Society.

Edith M. Anderson
Edith Marie Anderson, 95, a resident of Millers Merry Manor East, Wabash, died Tuesday, June 9, 1998 at Millers. She previously lived at 2275N 400W Wabash. She was born Sept. 10, 1902 at Huntington, IN to George and Edith (Brahs) Endres.
She married Joseph S. Anderson on July 16, 1923 in Wabash, IN; he died March 23, 1977. She was a member of the St. Matthews United Church of Christ and a member of the Deborah Circle of the church. She was also a member of the Rangeline Home Extension Club and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Wabash Chapter.
Survivors include two daughters - Mrs. Russell (Jo Ann) Hapner of Wabash and Mrs. Robert (Mary Jean) Wendel of South Whitley; six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and two step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.
Funeral service was held Friday, June 12, 1998 at Grandstaff-Hentgen Manchester Ave. Chapel, with Pastor Richard Rensner officiating. Burial was in Falls Cemetery of Wabash. Preferred memorials are to the St. Matthews United Church of Christ.

Beata A. Wible
Beata A. "Bea" Wible, 84, a resident of Wabash Skilled Care Center of Wabash, and formerly of North Manchester, died at the Care Center Monday, May 6, 1966, 9:37 p.m. She was born July 23, 1911 at Bippus, IN to Dan and Emma (Gemmer) Urschel.
She married Harry J. Wible July 2, 1936, and he preceded her in death September 22, 1985. She was a graduate of Bippus High School, and also of the Fort Wayne Beauty College. She was owner-operator of her own beauty shop in North Manchester until the mid-1940s. She then joined her husband, Harry, in Wible's Shoe Store in North Manchester.
She was an accomplished pianist in the North Manchester area for many years, and played in the Rex Arlington Symphony in the 1920s and 30s out of Huntington, IN.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in North Manchester, a 50-year member of the North Manchester Order of the Eastern Star, a member of the Friends of the Library in North Manchester, and was a charter member and first President of the Gamma Chapter of the E.S.A. She was a lifetime North Manchester resident.
Survivors include a son, Dan J. Wible of North Manchester; a daughter, Mrs. Dick (Kay) Sutton of Blue Springs, MO.; a brother, Lamoine Urschel of Tucson, AZ; a sister, Louise Karn of North Manchester; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers and a great-grandchild.
Friends may call Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. at Bender Chapel Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, North Manchester. Funeral service will be held at Bender Chapel Grandstaff-Hentgen Friday, May 10, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jeffrey Hawkins and Deaconess Sabine Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery.
Preferred memorials are to the North Manchester Public Library.

Dale W. Brindel
Dale William Brindel, 48, of the 3800 block of Pughesville Road, Suffolk, VA, died April 24, 1996 in a Portsmouth hospital.
He was a retired first class gunnersmate in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #898.
He is survived by two sons, Paul and Mark Brindel, and stepson, Joe Brindel, all of Norfolk; mother Joanne (Reiff) Brindel of Leesburg, FL; brother Gerry Brindel of Charlevoix, MI; special friend and soul mate, Sue Cook of Suffolk; and her children, Jennifer and Danny Cunningham, David and Tina Cook, Cindy and Peter Maley, Eddie and J. J. Cook, Richard and Sherry Cook; and six grandchildren.
A memorial service with Moose rites was conducted Saturday, April 27th in the Loving Funeral Home Chapel, Churchland.

Betty J. Webber
Betty J. Webber, 70, died Wednesday afternoon, May 1, 1996 at Yorktown Health Care Center where she had resided for the past year following an extended illness. She was born in Muncie and graduated from Muncie Central High School and attended Ivy Tech.
Mrs. Webber was a life member of Women of the Moose Chapter #712 and Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority, a member of Warner Gear Sympathy Club and St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Robert "Chic" (Jo Ellen "Jodi") Lenox of Muncie; a stepdaughter, Beverly Lewis of Alabama; two brothers, Jerry L. (and wife, Lisa) Southworth of Bippus; and Larry D. (and wife, Sandy) Southworth of Fortville; a sister-in-law, Jane Southworth of Beaufort, S.C.; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Cecil Hedge, a stepson, Philip Hedge, her second husband, John W. Webber, a son, John R. Webber, her mother and stepfather, Elizabeth and Art Doyle, her father and stepmother, Earl and Helen Southworth; a brother, Gene R. Southworth.
Memorial services were held Sunday in The Meeks Mortuary Chapel of 415 E. Washington St., Muncie, IN. Memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.

Vernon C. Sickafus
Vernon C. Sickafus, 83, of 57 E. Geary St., Ijamsville, IN, died Friday, June 7, 1996 at Wabash Healthcare Center, Wabash, IN. He was born March 9, 1913 in Wabash County to Thomas and Anna (Long) Sickafus. He married Doris Martin April 22, 1936 and she died Feb. 2, 1969; he married Phyllis Clark in 1969 and she died June 10, 1982.
He graduated from Laketon High School in 1936 and was a charter member of the Laketon American Legion. He was a member of the Christian Fellowship Church. Mr. Sickafus was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard.
Survivors include daughters Mrs. Samuel (Mary Anna) Coe of Wabash, Mrs. Miriam Linkenhoker of Elkhart, and Mrs. Mike (Laura) Bradley of North Manchester; stepdaughters, Mrs. William (Lois) James of Ijamsville and Mrs. Judy Renz of Peru; a goddaughter, Amber Lynn Wall; 13 grandchildren 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. A son, three brothers and five sisters preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 11 at the Christian Fellowship Church with the Rev. J. P. Freeman officiating. Burial was in Laketon Cemetery, Laketon, IN.
Preferred memorials are to the Christian Fellowship Church. DeLaughter-McKee Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
