Walter Harrison McAdoo, 83, Arkansas City, died Saturday (Dec. 9, 2000) at the South Central Kansas Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday (Dec. 14, 2000) at the Bible Christian church. Interment will be at 2 p.m. in the Lakeview Cemetery in Wichita. Memorials have been established for the Bible Christian Church or the Prairie View Christian Church Camp. Contributions may be made through the funeral home. Lucile Pearl Wahlenmaier, 86, Corpus Christi, Texas, formerly of Arkansas City, died Sunday (Dec. 10, 2000) at her home. Arrangements are pending and under the direction of the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home, Arkansas City.

Wanda Lu Spencer, 64, longtime Newkirk resident, died Sunday (May 7, 2000) in the Newkirk Nursing Center. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday (May 10, 2000) in the Newkirk First Christian Church with Danny W. Cornish, minister of the Newkirk Church of Christ officiating. Interment will be in the Newkirk Cemetery. The casket will be closed just prior to service time and not reopened. Arrangements are under the direction of the Miller-Stahl Funeral Service, Newkirk.

Richard Kimes Keene, 55, of Waco, Texas, formerly of Arkansas City, died Saturday (May 6, 2000) at his home in Waco. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday (May 10, 2000) in the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Arkansas City. Memorials may be given in Richard's honor to the donor's choice. Contributions may be made through the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of the Oakcrest Funeral Home in Waco and the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home, Arkansas City.

George G. Gochis, 76, of Wichita, died Friday (Jan. 14, 2000). Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday (May 13, 2000) in the Riverview Cemetery in Arkansas City. A memorial has been established with the College Hill United Methodist Church in Wichita. Arrangements are under the direction of the Downing & Lahey Mortuary, Wichita.

William Frank "Bill" Russell, 68, of rural Eureka, died Sunday (May 7, 2000) at the Greenwood County Hospital. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday (May 10, 2000) at the First United Methodist Church in Eureka with Rev. Jim Bush officiating. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Eureka. Memorials have been established with the First United Methodist Church of Eureka and the Eureka High School Athletic Department. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
