Cynthia Dahl
Cynthia F. Dahl, 54, Olathe, died Monday, June 25, 2001, at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, Mo. She was born July 26, 1946, in Boston, the daughter of Arthur and Edna Felton. She was a graduate of Oglethorpe University in Atlanta. She married Michael E. Dahl on July 5, 1969. They moved to the Kansas City area in 1977, where she had worked for Cramer Products Inc. of Gardner. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, Michael, of the home; a son, Daniel R. Dahl, of the home; and a brother, Paul D. Felton, of Tucson, Ariz. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 143rd and Black Bob Road, Olathe. Private family memorial services will be Thursday at the funeral home. Interment in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 6700 Antioch Rd., Suite 100, Merriam, KS 66204-1200.

Samuel Dailey
Samuel G. Dailey, 88, Stilwell, died Sunday, Nov. 26, 2000, at his farm, surrounded by family. He was born Feb. 11, 1912, at home, the third child of Samuel George Dailey and Clara Christine Traeger. He grew up on the family dairy farm, and was working as a night manager at the DuPont Greenhouse, when he met and married Nedra Agnes Knatzar in 1936. During World War II, he worked as a powder blender at the Sunflower Ordnance, then later as a landscaper for Graybar Nursery. He was working for Dailey Sanitation Service in 1950 when he moved his family from their house to acreage he and his wife purchased in southern Johnson County. There he raised first chickens, then hogs, and various grain crops, while still working "in town," eventually retiring in 1969 as a maintenance foreman for Johnson County Wastewater. His hobbies included the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting and creative repairs. He was preceded in death by two brothers, William and Thomas, and two sisters, Josephine Dougherty and Dorothy Jenkins. Survivor include Nedra, his wife of 64 years; five daughters, Dona Lawrence and son-in-law Virgil of La Cygne, Judy Franiuk and son-in-law Ray of Kansas City, Kan.; Pat Esarey and son-in-law, Dan of Maryland Heights, Mo.; Sandy Molitor and son-in-law Gary of Blue Springs, Mo.; and Susie Burgess and son-in-law Orville of La Porte, Texas; one son, Michael and daughter-in-law, Donna of Belton, Mo.; 19 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. A funeral mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. today at Saint Sabina's Catholic Church, Belton, Mo. The mass will be preceded by a rosary and memorial gathering at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Holy Rosary Cemetery, Wea. Memorial contributions may be made to Saint Luke's Shawnee Mission Hospice, 3100 Broadway, Ste. 300, Kansas City, Mo. Arrangements are being handled by the Cullen Funeral Home, Raymore, Mo.

James Dare
James Edward Dare, 53, Olathe, died Wednesday, May 10, 2000, at the Olathe Medical Center. He was born Aug. 30, 1946, in Tulsa, Okla., and had lived in Olathe since 1976. He was a sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1965 to 1969, during the Vietnam War. He was the service manager for Cate's Heating and Air Conditioning, Lenexa, where he had been employed for 25 years. He was a member and the 1989-1990 president of the Olathe Lions Club, and was a member of College Church of the Nazarene. Survivors include his wife, Karen Dare, of the home; two sons, James Dare Jr., Olathe, and Christopher Dare, of the home; a daughter, Sarah Dare, Gardner; his parents, Charles and Jean Corey, Olathe; a brother, John Dare, Jacksonville, Fla.; and three grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 12, at Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, Olathe. The funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday, May 13, in the Garrett Chapel at the College Church for the Nazarene, Olathe. Burial will be at Oak Lawn Cemetery, Olathe.

Frances Darnell
Frances Mae Darnell, 91, Gardner, died Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2000, at her home. She was born Aug. 19, 1909, in Longdale, Okla. She lived in Independence, Kan., and later moved to Kansas City, Kan., in the 1950s. She was a homemaker. She married Newton Darnell on Aug. 2, 1924, in Pine Bluff, Ark., who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death are her parents, Frank Terrell and Bessie Ashby Terrell; three sisters; two brothers; two twin sons; sons Lester Paul LeRoy Darnell and Newton Darnell Jr.; stepson Herman Darnell; and daughter Lorine Grace. She is survived by two daughters, Letha M. Bartmess, Gardner, and Violet Dunbar, Cheyenne, Wyo.; 19 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. The memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Friday at Bruce Funeral Home in Gardner. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Mount Hope Cemetery, Independence, Kan. Charles Dale
Charles Michael Dale, 54, Olathe, died Monday, Sept. 18, 2000, at Olathe Medical Center. He was born Aug. 27, 1946, in Kansas City, Mo., the son of Charles Francis Dale and Hazel Emma (Cavender) Dale. He was a graduate of Raytown High School, Raytown, Mo. He married Elaine C. Martin on Sept. 11, 1965, in Kansas City, Mo. He was the owner-operator of Dales' Drapery in Olathe and Overland Park since 1970. He had lived in Olathe 22 years, and previously had lived in Overland Park. He was a member of the National Rifle Association, the Black Powder Club, and the Sons of American Legion in Olathe. Survivors include his wife, Elaine Dale, of the home; a son, Michael C. Dale, Kansas City, Kan.; a sister, Charlotte M. Schoofs, Overland Park; and a grandson. Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Bruce Funeral Home, Gardner. The funeral will be 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. James DaVatz
LAWRENCE - James Monroe DaVatz, 77, of Lawrence, died Wednesday, April 4, 2001, at his residence in Lawrence. He was born July 15, 1923, in Iola, the son of Christian R. and Lois Rowden DaVatz. He moved to Lawrence in 1951. He was a member of the Kansas Association and the National Association of the Deaf, the Greater Kansas City Association of the Deaf, the Olathe Club for the Deaf and the Topeka Club for the Deaf. He was also a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Lawrence. He enjoyed crafts, woodworking, camping, bowling and fishing. He was married to Dollie E. Smith on June 18, 1950, who died on Feb. 5, 1976. Survivors include three daughters, Judy E. Stone and Peggy Edgerton of Lawrence and Susan Nichols of Mulino, Ore.; two sons, Terry D. DaVatz and Mark I. DaVatz, both of Lawrence; and eight grandchildren. Visitation is from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Warren-McElwain Mortuary. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the mortuary. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Lawrence. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.

Betty Davis
Betty June Rupe Davis, 82, of Olathe, died Saturday, April 22, 2001, at her home. She was born August 1, 1918, in Kansas City, Kan., living most of her childhood in Beatrice, Neb., and Glenover, Kan., before returning to Kansas City, Kan., at the age of 12. She graduated in 1936 from Wyandotte High School. She married Thomas J. David, Jr. in 1937. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority for more than 39 years. She had been an active volunteer at the gift shop of Overland Park Regional Hospital until her illness. She is survived by three sons, Steven R. Davis, North Carolina, David A. Davis of the home, and Thomas J. Davis III, Wichita; a brother, Jack Rupe of Moises, Mont.; and two grandchildren. Services will be private. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Kansas City, Kan.

Fred Davis
Fred L. Davis, 75, Eudora, died Saturday, Sept. 23, 2000. He was born July 20, 1925, in Lincoln, Mo., the son of Horace Edgar and Grace Davis. He was a graduate of Deepwater (Mo.) High School. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, attached to the U.S. Marine Corps. He started and owned Modern Engineering Construction Co. He was an active member of the Scottish Rite of the Masons and of the Shriners. He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Jeanie Davis; a brother, John ("J.B.") Davis; and a sister, Wilma Roberts. Survivors include two sons, Lowell F. Davis, DeSoto, and Randolph W. Davis, Fairway; a sister, Wanda A. Wallace, Overland Park; and seven grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Cedar Crest Memorial Chapel, DeSoto. The funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday at the DeSoto Baptist Church, DeSoto. Raymond Davis
Raymond G. Davis, 80, Olathe, died July 5, 2001, at Olathe Medical Center. He was born Feb. 7, 1921, in Detroit, the son of John and Anna (Klingler) Davis. He had lived in Johnson County since 1966, coming from Kalamazoo, Mich. He was a long-time member of the Erin Presbyterian Church in Roseville, Mich. He graduated from the Eastern High School in Detroit. He married Laura Rossier on Sept. 16, 1949, also in Detroit. He was preceded in death by a brother, John W. Davis. Survivors include his wife, Laura, of the home; two daughters, Laura Anne Plumb and her husband, Scott, of Olathe, and Ellen Rae Call, also of Olathe; and four grandchildren, Kelly and Katie Plumb, and Adam and Daniel Call. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at W.L. Frye and Son Funeral Home, Olathe. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Cremation.

Donald Davison
Donald R. Davison, 58, Olathe, died Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2000, at the Olathe Medical Center. He was born Nov. 21, 1941, in Kansas City, Mo., the son of Riley and Ruth Davison, and had lived in the Kansas City area all his life. He grew up in Raytown, Mo., and was a 1959 graduate of Raytown High School; he also attended Metropolitan Junior College. He was a sales representative for E.B.E. (Electronic Business Equipment) and Danka. He recently founded the Paola Opry. He served as an area director and coach for the Johnson County 3 & 2 Baseball Association for many years. Survivors include his wife, Sandy Davison, of the home; two sons, Robert and Barry Davison, both of the home; a brother, Dale L. Davison, Tulsa, Okla.; and a sister, Betty Florence, Kansas City, Mo. Michelle Dawson
Michelle Destine Dawson, 44, Mission, passed away Friday, Nov.10, 2000, at Olathe Medical Center. She was born in Kansas City, MO, and lived in this area all her life. She was an administrative assistant for Rothenberg and Schloss. She graduated from Shawnee Mission North. She was a member of the Trail Blazers Drum and Bugle Corps.; honorary lifetime member of the American Legion Dwight Cowles Post 370, Overland Park; honorary lifetime member of the VFW Post 846; and was a member of the Professional Secretary's Association since 1979, and American Business Women's Association. Survivors include her husband, Donald Dawson of the home; a son, Jason, of the home; her mother, Betty L. Lackey, Mission; a brother, Rovelle Lackey, Thornton, Colo.; half-sister, Sherry Agrella, Bellmont, Calif.; and a half-brother, Richard Lackey, Los Angeles. She will be loved and missed. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14, at American Legion Dwight Cowles Post 370, 7500 W. 75th, Overland Park. Cremation. Jordan Day
Jordan Curtis Day, 15, Overland Park, died Tuesday, May 22, 2001, at his home. He was born April 1, 1986 in Elgin, Ill., the son of Curtis and Cynthia (Seitz) Day. He was a freshman at California Trail Junior High School, where he was an honor roll student and served as treasurer of the Student Council his eighth-grade year. He was a member of the Church of the Ascension. His is preceded in death by his two grandmothers, Aileen Day and Margaret Seitz. He is survived by his parents; a brother and sister, Andrew and Allison, both of the home; a grandfather, Thomas Seitz, Overland Park; grandparents James and Gwendolyn Day, Green Valley Ariz.; his aunts and uncles, Kathie and Dan Thorup, Mike and Jeanne Day, Sheryl and Alan Carter and Kim and Carol Day; and numerous cousins. Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Friday at the Church of the Ascension, 9510 W. 127th St., Overland Park. Edward Deckwa
Edward Raymond Deckwa, 87, died Saturday, April 28, 2001, at Eudora Nursing Center in Eudora. He was born June 28, 1914, in Clearfield, Kan. He attended Clearfield Elementary and graduated from Eudora High School. After spending his early life in the Clearfield and Edgerton, Kan., communities, he moved to Indianapolis to work for many years before moving back to Edgerton. He moved to Eudora 12 years ago to retire with his wife. He married Mabel Lorene Williams Deckwa on June 12, 1938 in Edgerton. She died on Oct. 5, 1990. He was district service manager for Phillips 66 Co. He retired after 26 years at Phillips 66 and drove the propane truck for Farmer's Co-op in Edgerton and Lawrence. He attended Central United Methodist Church in Law-rence. He was a member of the Baldwin City Masonic Lodge. Preceding him in death were his wife; an infant son, Frank Edward Deckwa; his parents, Henry L. and Emma Hausman Deckwa; and one brother, Wesley Deckwa. Survivors include one son, David and wife Myrasia of Phoenix, Ariz.; two daughters, Susan Adams, and Lois and husband Marvin Groh, all of Lawrence; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 2, at Free Methodist Church, 3001 Lawrence Ave., Lawrence. A private family inurnment will be at a later date in Edgerton Cemetery. Betty DeGarmo
Betty DeGarmo, 78, Olathe, died Saturday, Nov. 4, 2000, at Liberty Hospital in Liberty, Mo. She was born Oct. 28, 1922, in Wellsville, the daughter of Charles and Eula (Jenkins) Lytle. She had lived in Olathe the past 40 years. She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, Olathe. She was a member of several local clubs and was a volunteer at the Olathe Medical Center. She was working at the W.L. Frye & Son Mortuary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen DeGarmo, in 1991. Survivors include a son, Douglas DeGarmo, Liberty, Mo.; a daughter, Linda Hendrix, Kearney, Mo.; a brother, W.A. Lytle, Wellsville; two sisters, Margaret Hoffman, Clay Center, and Charlotte Todd, Paola; three grandchildren; and a great-grandson. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. today at the W.L. Frye & Son Mortuary, Olathe. The funeral will be 2 p.m. today at the mortuary. Burial will be at the Wellsville Cemetery. Harry DeGarmo
Harry "Jay" DeGarmo, 61, died Friday, Feb. 4, 2000, at his home in Wellsville. He was born July 17, 1938, in Ottawa, the son of Willard and Ruby (Councelman) DeGarmo. He was employed for many years with the Delco Battery Plant in Olathe, retiring in 1987. He was a member of the Wellsville United Methodist Church and the United Auto Workers Union No. 1021. He married Sally Good on Sept. 13, 1958, in Wellsville. She survives of the home. Other survivors include three daughters, Elisa Barnes, Wellsville, Kim Vemmer, Lee's Summit, Mo., and Renne Johnson, McPherson; two sisters, Jean Seyler, Yucca, Calif., and Joan McDaniel, Olathe; and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 7, at the Wilson and Son Chapel, Wellsville. Burial will be in the Wellsville Cemetery. Jessie DeGarmo
Jessie Irene DeGarmo, 100, of Olathe, died Saturday, April 14, 2001. She was born Oct. 31, 1900, in Ottawa, Kan., the daughter of William and Zora Batdorf. She was married to John Leonard DeGarmo for 43 years. After his death in 1959, she moved to Garnett, Kan., where she worked for the Anderson County Hospital until 1974. Upon retiring, she moved to Olathe and lived at Parkview Manor until her death. She is also preceded in death by two sons, Allen DeGarmo and Dean DeGarmo. She is survived by five grandchildren, Linda Hendrix and Douglas DeGarmo, both of Liberty, Mo., Larry DeGarmo, Olathe, John DeGarmo, Kansas City, Mo., and Jim DeGarmo, Prairie Village; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Visitation is from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the W.L. Frye and Son Mortuary and Crematory, Olathe. Memorial services will follow. Burial will be in the Highland Cemetery, Ottawa.

Katherine DeGrande
Katherine Elaine DeGrande, 43, died Saturday, March 18, 2000, in Petaluma. She was born May 27, 1956, in Olathe and was a lifelong area resident of the Johnson County or Kansas City area, except when attending Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa. She was a 1974 graduate of Gardner High School; a 1977 graduate of Drake University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in accounting and insurance; and a 1985 graduate of the University of Kansas, where she received a master's degree in management and law. She was vice president, finance and chief financial officer at both Research Medical Center, Kansas City, Mo., and Research Belton Hospital, Belton, Mo., as well as for both hospitals' foundations and the Research College of Nursing since 1986. She previously was a controller for Health Midwest; a vice president of finance for Health Plan of Mid America; a manager of accounting and reimbursement at St. Mary's Hospital, Kansas City, Mo., 1984-86; chief accountant at St. Mary's Hospital, 1980-84; and a staff accountant and auditor for Hollis, Kuckelman & VanDeVeer, CPA, Olathe, 1978-80. She became a certified public accountant in Kansas in 1980, was a fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association in 1992, and received additional HFMA certifications in patient accounts in 1994 and 1995. She was elected national director of the Healthcare Financial Management Association for 1999-2002 and had been a member since 1984. She had served on the National Matrix from 1996 to 1997; as chapter liaison, 1997-98; as a CFO Forum Advisory Council member, 1997-99; as a Strategic Planning Committee member, 1999-2000; as vice president and president of the Heart of America Chapter. She had received the Follmer Bronze, Reeves Silver and Muncie Gold Merit awards. She was a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Association of Healthcare Executives. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Gardner, and also attended Bible Study Fellowship in the Kansas City area. She is survived by her parents, Michael Joseph and Florence Elaine (Smith) DeGrande, Gardner; a brother, John DeGrande, Gardner; and twin nephews. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Bruce Funeral Home, Gardner. The funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church, Gardner. Burial will be at the Gardner Cemetery. Denise DeLatte
Denise M. DeLatte, 44, DeSoto, died Monday, Oct. 30, 2000, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center, due to injuries from an automobile accident. She was born Dec. 30, 1955, in Columbia, Mo., the daughter of Dr. John Y. McLean Jr. and Dorothy F. McLean, Shawnee. She grew up in Shawnee. She was a restaurant manager. She was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Lee McLean; and a sister, Debra Lynn McLean. Survivors include her parents; a brother, Don McLean, Shawnee; and a sister, Carol Ann Setter, DeSoto. The visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Friday at Cedar Crest Memorial Chapel, DeSoto. The funeral will be noon Friday at the chapel. Cremation.

Gertrude Dempsey
Gertrude Marie Dempsey, 90, Olathe, died Monday, Oct. 30, 2000, at Delmar Gardens of Lenexa. She was born Aug. 1, 1910, in Casper, Wyo., the daughter of Mr. Valentine Francis Isom and May Elizebeth (Bush) Isom Pope. She moved to Olathe in the late 1930s. She married Carl Dempsey in Maryville, Mo. She was a homemaker. She attended the Olathe Presbyterian Church and the Gardner Presbyterian Church. She was a lifetime member of the Morning Grange. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl; and a brother, Alfred Isom. Survivors include a son, Dean Dempsey, Powers, Ore.; a daughter, Doris Smith, Baldwin City; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Alta Denley
Alta Mable Denley, 103, Olathe, died Saturday, June 10, 2000, at the Good Samaritan Nursing Center in Olathe. She was born Jan. 22, 1897, in Gardner. She was a lifetime resident of Johnson County, and had lived in Gardner, Spring Hill and Olathe. She was a 1916 graduate of Gardner High School, and attended Emporia Teachers College. She married Harry Denley in 1938. She taught 37 years in Johnson County rural schools, many of those years in a one-room schoolhouse. She previously had been a longtime member of the Gardner Presbyterian Church, and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Olathe. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Denley, in 1973; and a sister, Jessie J. Kauffman, in 1994. Survivors include several cousins, nieces and nephews; and caretakers Dr. O.M. and Nancy Elliott, Olathe. Visitation will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m. today at the Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, Olathe. The graveside service will be 11 a.m. today at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Olathe. Memorial contributions may be made to the Good Samaritan Nursing Center, Olathe.

Jerry Allen Dennis, 51, Olathe, died Monday, March 27, 2000, at his home. He was born Sept. 17, 1948, in Hollis, Okla. He was a resident of Olathe for 12 years. He was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church in Hollis. He was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Dennis. Survivors include his wife, Linda Dennis, of the home; a son, Greg Dennis, of the home; a daughter, Shannon Bussell, Biloxi, Miss.; six brothers, Kenneth, Don, Chess and Charles Dennis, all of Amarillo, Texas, Tom Dennis, Panhandle, Texas, and Bruce Dennis, Hollis; two sisters, Winnie Capshaw, Oklahoma City, and Reba Reining, Panhandle; and three grandchildren. Visitation will be until 8 p.m. today at Minton-Chatwell Funeral Home, Panhandle, Texas. The graveside service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, March 30, at the Panhandle Cemetery. Local arrangements are by W.L. Frye and Son Mortuary, Olathe.

Peter DeNucci
Peter "Pete" T. DeNucci, 80, DeSoto, died Wednesday, June 21, 2000, at the Shawnee Mission Medical Center. He was born Jan. 31, 1920, in Youngstown, Ohio. He was a carpenter for more than 60 years and worked construction for many years. He was a lifetime member of the Carpenter's Union of Olathe, a member of the Eudora United Methodist Church, past commander of the DeMolay No. 4 in Lawrence, past Worthy Patron of Order of Eastern Star No. 78 of DeSoto, a member of the Kansas York Rite Chapter No. 4 of Lawrence and a 32nd-degree member of the Scotish Rite Bodies of Lawrence. He also was a member and Past Watchman of the Shepherd of Fidelity White Shrine of Jerusalem, Lawrence, and was a life member and past district commander of the VFW, DeSoto. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Helen DeNucci, of the home; a son, Mark T. DeNucci Sr., Toledo, Ohio; a daughter, Nancy DeNucci, Lake Mary, Fla.; a brother, Patrick DeNucci, Youngstown, Ohio; and two grandsons. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Alden-Harrington Chapel, Bonner Springs. The funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the Eudora United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Mount Sidney Cemetery, Linwood. Memorial contributions may be made to the Eudora United Methodist Church's Building Fund or to the Masonic charity of the donor's choice.

Patricia Denzel
Patricia Ann "Patsy" Spurrier Denzel, 77, of Leawood, died Wednesday, March 28, 2001, at her home. She was born March 23, 1924, in Kansas City, Mo., the daughter of Ann and Jack Spurrier. She graduated in 1941 from St. Teresa's Academy and later went to Avila College. During the war effort, she worked as a chemist for Phillips Petroleum Refinery. She was married to Bob Denzel on Oct. 17, 1947, at Visitation Church in Kansas City, Mo. She was a member of the Cure of Ars Church and served as a Eucharistic Minister. She was an avid bridge player with the Cure of Ars Ladies Bridge Club and the Brookridge Bridge Club, as well as a member of the Ranch Mart Friday morning Bowling League. She was an active member of the Ladies of Charity, and past president of Cure of Ars and Visitation Parent Teachers Associations. She was also actively involved in each of her children's high school and college organizations. She and her husband celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 17, 1997. In addition to her husband of 53 years she leaves their six children, Mary Ann Mitchell and husband, Jerry; Patty Hink and husband, Mark; Bob Denzel and wife, Janie; Susie Muck and husband, Steve; Christy Odrowski and husband, Michael; Tom Denzel and wife Kristi; 15 grandchildren, five nephews and two nieces. Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, April 2, 2001, at Cure of Ars Catholic Church, 9401 Mission Rd. Burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 7601 Blue Ridge Blvd. Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, April 1, 2001, at McGilley State Line Chapel, 12301 State Line Rd., where a rosary will be said at 4:30 p.m. the family suggests memorial contributions to Carondelet Hospice, 201 W.
