Carl D. Hatter

LIBERTY -- Carl David "Tony" Hatter, 80, of Kings Mountain died Thursday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.

Born Aug. 12, 1920, in Casey County, he was a son of the late Ransom and Rosa Napier Hatter. He was a carpenter, a retired farmer and a member of Walltown Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Wilma Reece Hatter; a son, David Joe Hatter of Grant, Mich.; three sisters, Lela Durham of Cincinnati, Fayrene Bryant of Columbus, Ohio, and Maylene Durham of Science Hill; and four grandchildren.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Mount Olive Christian Church by Greg Powell. Burial will be in K.P. Hall Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be David, Jonathan, Richard, Michael and Dale Hatter and Denny Durham.

Visitation is 5-9 p.m. today and after 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Beulah Price

LIBERTY -- Beulah Price, 74, of Shugars Hill Road died today at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.

Born Nov. 18, 1926, in Casey County, she was a daughter of the late John and Pearl Rich Cain. She was a homemaker and a member of Walnut Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Russell Price; a son, David Price of Liberty; two sisters, Opal Whitly of Critten and Ruby Paul of Fort Thomas; two brothers, Jessie Cain of Independence and Rich Cain of Tennessee; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home by Clifton Cowan. Burial will be in Casey County Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Saturday.

Paul R. Shanley

STANFORD -- Paul R. Shanley, 84, of Lancaster Street died Thursday.

Born Feb. 5, 1917, in Cincinnati, he was a son of the late Thomas and Mary Ennis Shanley. He was a government employee of Hamilton County, Ohio, a member of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Danville and John Logan American Legion Post 345. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II and was a Kentucky Colonel.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Coleman Shanley; a daughter, Barbara Gordon Shewmaker of Stanford; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church by the Rev. Paul Prabell. Burial will be in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Spurlin Funeral Home and after 10 a.m. Monday at the church.

Memorials may go to Heritage Hospice or SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church.

Thomas L. Deane

LIBERTY -- Services for Thomas Lee Deane, 69, of Jamestown, formerly of Liberty, were scheduled for 2 p.m. today at Bartle Funeral Home by the Rev. Carroll Egnew. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery.

He died Tuesday at Fair Oaks Nursing Home.

Born March 12, 1932, in Wayne County, W.Va., he was a son of the late Lee H. and Opal Belle Carmicle Deane. He was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include a sister, Della Byland of Michigan; and a brother, William H. Deane of Perris, Calif.

Albertine Moore

HARRODSBURG -- Services for Albertine Moore, 87, of Harrodsburg will be noon Saturday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home. Burial will be in Ebenezer Church of Christ Cemetery.

She died Thursday at Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Lawrenceburg.

Born Aug. 30, 1914, in Mercer County, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Alice Bunton McMurray. She was a homemaker, a member of Ebenezer Church of Christ and the widow of Ancil E. Moore.

Survivors include her sister, Martha J. DeCamp of New York; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Robert H. Moore.

Pallbearers will be Terry Greathouse, Mike Webster, G.W. Jenkins, Harold DeCamp, Arvin Webster and Joseph Sea.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. Saturday until time of service.

Louis Sims

LIBERTY -- Services for Louis Sims, 82, of Alum Springs Road, Danville, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Corinth Church of God by the Revs. Keith Willoughby and Bill Staton. Burial will be in Corinth Cemetery with military rites by Casey County Funeral Squad.

He died Thursday at Harrodsburg Health Care Center.

Born Aug. 26, 1918, in Walltown, he was a son of the late Jack and Bertha Toadvine Sims. He was a member of Corinth Church of God, an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars post in Stanford.

Survivors include his wife, Jewell Frederick Sims; a daughter, Irma Buckingham of Danville; three sisters, Mary Bell Jett and Beatrice Lape, both of Cincinnati, and June Cain of Liberty; a granddaughter; and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Toadvine, Buck Taylor, Don Ramey, Williard Sims, Ancil Frederick and Lloyd Shoemaker.

Visitation will be after 6 p.m. today at Bartle Funeral Home.

Wilma M. Lynn

MARION -- Wilma Mae Lynn, 92, of Marion died Monday at Crittenden County Convalescence Center.

Survivors include three sons, Bill and Fred Lynn, both of Marion, and Charles Lynn of Sedalia, Mo.; three daughters, Robbie Fritts of Morganfield, Dorothy Wade of Paducah and Lois Anderson of Danville; two brothers, Doug Sullenger of Marion and J.L. Sullenger of Hobart, Ind.; a sister, Mary E. Binkley of Hobart; 14 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Gilbert Funeral Home by the Revs. Darrell Clark and Jack Ferguson. Burial will be in Love Cemetery.

Visitation is after 5 p.m. today.

Flonnie L. Southerland

HAMILTON, Ohio -- Flonnie L. "Teenie" Southerland, 72, of Hamilton died Monday at Fort Hamilton Hospital.

Born March 14, 1929, in Lincoln County, she was a daughter of the late Leslie and Maggie Jones Cutter. She had been employed as a caregiver for 20 years and was a member of Chester Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Southerland; a brother, Billy Joe Cutter of Hustonville; three sisters, Nancy Brown of Norwood, Ohio, Roberta McCowan of Hamilton and Mabel Carrier of East Point, Ga.

Services will be 7 p.m. today at Brown Dawson Funeral Home by the Rev. Jack Wesley with visitation 6-7 p.m. today.

A graveside service will be 1 p.m. Thursday in the Hustonville Cemetery.

W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.

MORELAND -- Services for Charles Wayne Fletcher, 59, of Hustonville will be 11 a.m. Friday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home by G.W. Smith. Burial will be in Bastin Cemetery in Lincoln County.

He died Monday at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington.

Born Oct. 1, 1941, in Lincoln County, he was a son of the late Hollis and Eva Sims Fletcher. He was an employee of ATR in Danville and a member of New Salem Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Fredia Carman Fletcher; a daughter, Crystal G. Fletcher of Hustonville; a stepdaughter, Jenny Hooper; a sister, Madeline Lynn of Hustonville; and three grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Brown, Blaine Tinsley, Mike Griffin, Richard Shelton, Kenny Jones and C.G. Martin.

Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Thursday.
