WENDELL - David A. Shaw, 39, of 338 South River Rd., Walpole, N.H. died Friday at home after a long illness.
Among his survivors is a sister, Minnie Bacigalupo of Wendell.

TEMPLETON - Beatrice L. (Brown) Pokki, 84, of 79 Bridge St., Baldwinville died Saturday at home.
She was head of food services for Narragansett Regional School for several years.
Adella H. Deyo Formerly Of Athol
ORANGE - Adella H. "Ida" Deyo, 95, of 383 East River St., died Thursday in her home after an illness.
Born in Athol, Aug. 21, 1902, a daughter of Anthony and Petrona (Aksimautauskas) Manewich, she grew up and attended schools in Athol.
A sports fan, she played basketball on a local women's league while working at the former Pequoig Hotel and Lee's Brothers Shoe Company, both in Athol.
After moving to Hardwick, where she resided for thirty years, she worked at the Carter's Manufacturing Co., Gilbertville. She later returned to Athol living there for thirty years before moving to Orange in 1986.
She was a member of Our Lady Immaculate Church and enjoyed playing cards.
Her first husband, Anthony Vinskey, died in 1955 and second husband, Clarence Deyo, died in 1986. She was also predeceased by two daughters, Jeanne A. Vinskey in 1955 and Angela Moss in 1995.
She leaves a daughter, Elizabeth A. Obartuck, with whom she resided; a sister, Frances Wisenski of Athol; three grandchildren; two great - - grandsons; several nephews and nieces.
A graveside service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in Gethsemane Cemetery, Athol. The Rev. Stephen Johnson, Pastor, of Our Lady Immaculate Church will officiate.

Evelyn M. Wilson Formerly Of Athol
ORANGE - Evelyn M. (Jones) Wilson, 86, formerly of 200 East River St., died Tuesday in Franklin Medical Center, Greenfield.
Born in Orange, Dec. 22, 1911, a daughter of George A. and Lillian (Vaughn) Jones, she grew up in Athol and attended Athol schools.
She lived in Orange, Haverhill and Allentown, N.H. before returning to Orange several years ago to reside at Colonial Acres before moving to the Charlene Manor, Greenfield.
She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, art and painting.
Her first husband, Willard Smith, died in 1947.
After marriage to her second husband, Earl Wilson, who died in 1965, she moved to New Hampshire where she worked at Harris Stamp Co., Derry, for several years. Later she was a nurses aide until her retirement.
She leaves a nephew, Donald Batchelor and step - daughter, Ruth Bass both of Athol and a foster son, Malcolm Holbrook of Denver, N. C.
A graveside service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in South Cemetery. The Rev. Freda Maier of Orange United Methodist Church will officiate.
There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to a charity of the donors choice.

Arthur E. Gingras Korean War Veteran
BALDWINVILLE - Arthur E. Gingras, 65, of 704 Baldwinville Rd., died early Monday morning in Heywood Hospital, Gardner, after being stricken ill.
He leaves his wife, Joanne L. (Martin) Gingras, whom he married July 6, 1957.
Born in Baldwinville March 10, 1933, the son of the late Arthur E. and Lena (Carpenter) Gingras, he lived here all his life.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War.
Employed with the Walter E. Fernald School in Templeton for 36 years, he retired in 1992. He was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Church in Baldwinville, and he enjoyed hunting and motorcycling.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a son; Jerry A. Gingras of Gardner; a daughter, Renay J. Bankowski of East Templeton; two brothers, George Gingras of Trumbull, Conn. and Albert Gingras of Athol; five grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. A brother, Dominic Gingras of South Royalston, died many years ago.
Funeral services are private and at the convenience of the family. Burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Gardner will also be private.
Calling hours are Wednesday from 7 - 9 p.m. at the Lamoureux Funeral Home, 142 Nichols St., Gardner.

Charlotte S. Allder, 89, formerly of 63 Ridge Ave., died Monday in Wingate at Wilbraham Nursing Residence.
She was born in Woodstock, New Brunswick, Canada, April 16, 1909, daughter of Harold G. and Alice (Black) Allder, and was a resident of Athol for more than 50 years.
She worked in the payroll department of the L.S. Starrett Company for more than 25 years.
She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church.
She leaves a sister, Nellie A. Collins of George's Mills, N.H.; a nephew, John S. Collins of Hamilton,N.Y.; two nieces, Patricia Austin of Myrtle Beach, S.C. and Catherine L. Noonan of Bradenton, Fla.
A graveside service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in Silver Lake Cemetery, with the Rev. A. Milton Cheney III, pastor of St. John's Episcopal Church, officiating.
There are no calling hours.

ORANGE - Tecla C. Carlson, 94, formerly of 200 East River St., died Monday in Quabbin Valley Healthcare, Athol.
Born in Orange, Sept. 24, 1903, a daughter of Gustaf and Emma C. (Anderson) Carlson, she lived in Orange all of her life.
She worked at the General Foods Division of Minute Tapioca 26 years until her retirement.
She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, and a former member of VASA Lodge and Orange Senior Citizens.
Her hobbies included making crafts and rug hooking.
She leaves a nephew, Roger Bergquist of Warwick, and several cousins.
A graveside service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in South Cemetery. The Reverend Mary Beth Morris, Pastor of Bethany Lutheran Church will officiate.
