Matthew P. DeLoia Sr. of Milford
MILFORD - The funeral service for Matthew P. DeLoia Sr. took place Monday in the Celestial Chapel of the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home, officiated by the Rev. Ralph Galen, pastor of the Unitarian Universalist Church in Mendon.
The bearers were Paul Kratzsch, Anthony Buchanio, John Dumont, John Tebo, Richard Moschilli, Michael DeLoia, Matthew DeLoia III, Vincent Yarush and Louis Pretty.
Burial followed in Vernon Grove Cemetery, where the Rev. Galen offered prayers at the grave.
Mr. DeLois, 91, died Friday, July 26, 2002, in the Blaire House of Milford.

Joseph P. Ferrelli, 96, of Milford
MILFORD - Joseph P. Ferrelli, 96, of Milford, died Wednesday, May 29, 2002, in Milford-Whitinsville Regional Hospital.
He was the husband of the late Alba C. (DeRuvo) Ferrelli, who died in 1994.
He was born in Milford, son of the late Liberatori and Maria (Bonaventura) Ferrelli, and was a lifelong Milford resident. He was educated in the Milford schools.
Mr. Ferrelli was a World War II Army veteran.
He retired in 1980 as manager of the former Dennison Corp. in Framingham. Previously, he was manager of the former Hogdeman's Rubber Co. in Framingham.
Survivors include one son, Robert A. Ferrelli of Vero Beach, Fla.; one daughter, Rosemarie Ferrelli of Milford; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was also the father of the late Joseph M. Ferrelli.
The funeral will take place Saturday at 9 a.m. from the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home, 46 Water St.
A Mass of Christian burial will take place at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 7 East Main St.
Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery on Medway Road.
Calling hours are today from 5 to 8 p.m.

Agnes Marie (Byron) French, 80, a lifelong resident of Milford
MILFORD -- Agnes Marie (Byron) French, 80, a lifelong resident of Milford, died Friday, April 11, 2003, at the Milford-Whitinsville Regional Hospital, following an illness.
She was the wife of Leeman W. French, who died in 1998.
Born in Milford, she was the daughter of the late John J. and Sarah C. (Snay) Byron. She attended the former St. Mary's Grammar School and the former St. Mary's Academy.
As a young woman, Mrs. French was employed at the former Derman Shoe Co., located in Milford. She later was employed for the late Dr. Nosiff who practiced in Milford and finally was employed at the former Parkinson Nursing Home, located in Milford.
Later in life, she undertook the important task of homemaker and raised her family, a job she took a great deal of pride in.
She was a longtime member of St. Mary's Church in Milford. She was also a member of the Birmingham Court Association.
She leaves two daughters, Barbara L., wife of Robert Tracy of North Dartmouth, and Frances A., wife of Michael Filosa of Douglas; one sister, Helen Dorothy, wife of Rocco Verrelli of Milford; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 14, at 10:30 a.m. from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress St., Milford, followed by a funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, Winter Street, Milford. Burial will follow at Vernon Grove Cemetery, Vernon Street, Milford.
Visiting hours will be held Sunday, April 13, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home.

Mrs. Agnes M. French, 80, of Milford
MILFORD - The funeral of Mrs. Agnes M. French took place Monday, April 14, from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, followed by a mass of Christian burial in St. Mary's Church, celebrated by the Rev. Michael Foley, pastor.
Acolytes were Harold and Joan Getz.
The organist was David Szanto, music director. The cantors were Sandra Valenti, Evelyn Deer and Lynn Dillon.
Lectors were Michael Filosa, her son-in-law, and Mary Anne Smith, her niece.
Gift bearers Dennis Byron and Anthony Byron, her nephews.
The prayer of the faithful was offered by Sister Theresa Lucier, pastoral associate at St. Mary's Church.
Words of remembrance were offered by her daughter, Mrs. Barbara L. Tracy.
Mrs. French, 80, of Milford, died Friday, April 11, 2003, at Milford-Whitinsville Regional Hospital, after an illness.

Marie E. (Ghelli) Hickey, 59, formerly of Milford
DORCHESTER -- Marie E. (Ghelli) Hickey, 59, of Dorchester, formerly of Milford, died unexpectedly, Wednesday, April 9, 2003.
Mrs. Hickey was a foster mother of many children of the Commonwealth for more than 14 years. She was also employed by the MBTA.
She leaves her children, Rose Glennon of Abington, Michael Bragdon of Coventry, Conn., Daniel Hickey of Dorchester, Robert Hickey and Norma Hickey of Dorchester; a sister, Tina Foglio of Milford; and nine grandchildren.
The funeral will take place Monday, April 14, from the John C. Mulry Funeral Home (www.mulryfuneralhome.com), 2 King St., Dorchester, at 9:15 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial, to be celebrated at St. Mark's Church, 1725 Dorchester Ave., at 10 a.m.
Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
Calling hours are Sunday, April 13, from 4 to 8 p.m., in the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the Cardinal Cushing Centers, Attn.: Memorials, 405 Washington St., Hanover, MA 02339.

Maria DosSantos of Milford
MILFORD - The funeral for Maria DosSantos was held yesterday from the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at the Saint Mary's of the Assumption Church. The celebrant was Rev. Esquinio Munoz. Sr. Theresa Lucier assisted in the Mass. The sanctuary assistants were Harold Getz and Kathy Pontzer. The lectors Debbie Monteiro and Michele Monteiro. Words of remembrance were offered by Michele Monteiro.
The bearers were Paulo Monteiro, Tony Monteiro, Marc Monteiro, Jose DosSantos, Sergio DosSantos and Peter DosSantos.
Burial followed at the Saint Mary's Cemetery where Rev. Munoz offered prayers at the grave.
Mrs. DosSantos died last Sunday at the Geriatric Authority of Milford.

Anna DiLoreto, 96, of Milford
MILFORD -- The funeral for Anna DiLoreto took place Friday, June 20, 2003, from the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church by the Rev. Paul Burns, C.S.S.
Sanctuary assistants were Michael Minichiello and Frank Freni.
The pall was placed onto the casket by Aida DiPasquale and Sandra DiPasquale.
Lectors were Anthony DiPasquale and Christopher DiPasquale.
Gift bearers were Aida DiPasquale and David DiPasquale.
Words of remembrance were offered by David DiPasquale Jr. and Paul DiPasquale.
The organist was Virginia Montani, and the cantor was Carla Al-Aghawani.
Bearers were David DiPasquale Jr., Christopher DiPasquale, Paul DiPasquale and Anthony DiPasquale.
Burial followed in Sacred Heart Cemetery, where the Rev. Burns offered prayers at the grave.
Mrs. DiLoreto, 96, of Milford, died Friday, June 13, 2003, in SunBridge Care and Rehabilitation for Milford.

Mary T. Hanley
MILFORD -- Mrs. Mary T. (Doyle) Hanley, 83, of Hopedale, died Thursday, Nov. 28, 2002, at the Milford Geriatric Authority, where she has been a resident since 1998.
She was the wife of the late George E. Hanley, who died in 1982.
Mrs. Hanley was born in Milford, the daughter of the late Edward and the late Mary (Barrett) Doyle.
She attended Milford public schools as a young girl and was a graduate of Milford High School, Class of 1938.
Mrs. Hanley was employed as an administrative assistant for more than 30 years at Framingham State College, retiring in 1994.
Prior to that she had been employed at the former Draper Corporation located in Hopedale.
Mrs. Hanley was a longtime resident of Hopedale, and a longtime communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Hopedale.
She is survived by daughters Mary Ellen, wife of Dennis LaCroix of Reading, and Nancy J. Hanley of Hopedale, and son John E. "Jack" Hanley of Hopedale. She is also survived by grandchildren Kevin Hanley and Laura Hanley of Hopedale and Courtney LaCroix of Reading; and many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday, Dec. 3 at 9 a.m. at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress St., Milford, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, 187 Hopedale St., Hopedale.
Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Cedar St. (Rte. 85), Milford.
Visiting hours will be Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home.
