Paul W. Invernizzi, 75, of Milford
MILFORD -- Paul W. Invernizzi, 75, of Milford, died Saturday, June 14, 2003, in SunBridge Care and Rehabilitation in Milford.
Born in Somerville, he was the son of the late Anna M. and Paul W. Invernizzi, and for the rest of his life was a resident of Milford.
A World War II veteran, he served in the Navy as a seaman second class.
He was a cook in many local restaurants, including the old Sorrento Room.
He leaves his children, Maida A. Invernizzi of Milford, Michael D. Invernizzi and his wife, Diane, of Blackstone and Shawn P. Invernizzi and his wife, AnnMarie, of Milford.
He was also brother of the late Shirley E. Osburn of Whitewater, Kansas.
A private burial will take place at a later date at Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Employees' Activity Fund, care of SunBridge Care and Rehabilitation, 10 Veterans Memorial Drive, Milford, MA 01757, Attn: Jackie Boussard.

Martha Kavonian, 77, of Milford
MILFORD - The funeral service for Martha Kavonian took place Wednesday, Jan. 29, from the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home.
A requiem liturgy was celebrated in Trinity Episcopal Church, officiated by the Rev. Paul Anderson.
The organist was Liz Jennings, and the cantor was Charlotte Grillo-Manna.
Burial followed in Vernon Grove Cemetery, where the Rev. Anderson offered prayers at the grave.
Ms. Kavonian, 77, of Milford, died Saturday, Jan. 25, 2003, in Milford-Whitinsville Regional Hospital.

HAZEL E. FLETCHER
WINCHENDON — Hazel E. (Bemis) Fletcher, 97, of 14 Oak St., Winchendon, died early Monday morning at home after a lengthy illness. Hazel was born in Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire on December 9, 1910 and was a daughter of the late Henry W. Bemis.

ARLINE MARIE MONDEAU (JONES)
GARDNER — Arline Marie Mondeau, 70, passed away February 14, 2008 peacefully at Heywood Hospital in Gardner, Mass. She was born June 15, 1937, the daughter of Joseph and Anita Jones (Michaud) of Haverhill, Mass.

LUCILLE M. CARR
TEMPLETON — Lucille M. (Despres) Carr, 87, of 44B Red Fox Crossing, Templeton, died Friday morning at home surrounded by her loving family. Lucille was born in Jaffrey, N.H., May 31, 1920, daughter of the late Medric and Amelia (Baron) Despres, and lived in Winchendon most of her life, before moving to Templeton 20 years ago.

Mary L. (Ennis) Kellett, 67, formerly of South Dennis and Milford
WEYMOUTH - Mary L. (Ennis) Kellett, 67, formerly of South Dennis and Milford, died Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2002, at the Pope Nursing Home, 140 Webb St., Weymouth, where she had been a resident for the past four years.
Born in Woonsocket, R.I., she was the daughter of the late James E. and Charlotte L. (Cooper) Ennis Sr.
She attended the former St. Mary's parochial schools in Milford as a young girl and was a graduate of the former St. Mary's High School, Class of 1951.
She had been a resident of South Dennis for about 30 years prior to her residence in Weymouth. While living in South Dennis, she had volunteered for the D.A.V. of Hyannis for many years.
She leaves five children, Brian Kellett and his wife, Kathy, of South Dennis, Michael Kellett of South Dennis, Karen "Katie" Calnan of Whitman, Mark Kellett and his wife, Kristen, of Natick, and Scott Kellett and his wife, Lisa, of Norfolk; a brother, James Ennis of Northborough; two sisters, Tara Kaufman of Dennisport and Lori Lilly of Boston; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews; also her former husband, Jeremiah K. Kellett of East Dennis.
A graveside committal service will take place Thursday, Oct. 3, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Cemetery, Cedar Street (Rte. 85), in Milford, with the Rev. Dennis O'Malley of St. Mary's Church officiating.
There are no visiting hours.
Immediately following the services, there will be a collation at the Scott Kellett residence, 19 Fleetwood Drive, Norfolk.
Instead of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress St., Milford.

Roland H. Lambert
MILFORD - Roland H. Lambert, 75, of Milford, died Friday, March 29, 2002, in Milford-Whitinsville Regional Hospital.
He was the husband of Marguerite F. "Peggy" (Hixon) Lambert.
A longtime resident of Milford, Mr. Lambert was born in Uxbridge, the son of the late William and Blanche (Lajoie) Lambert. He attended the Good Shepherd School in Linwood and Uxbridge High School.
Mr. Lambert was employed as a machinist at the former Whitin Machine Works in Whitinsville, and the former ATF Davidson Company for 46 years, retiring in 1989.
A veteran of World War II, Mr. Lambert served in the U.S. Army in the Philippines, Georgia and in the Pacific-Asiatic Theater, receiving several citations.
Mr. Lambert was a longtime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post No. 1385 in Uxbridge, and was a former member of the Uxbridge Eagles. He attended St. Mary's Church in Milford. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, and was an avid Red Sox fan. He was a devoted grandfather.
Mr. and Mrs. Lambert observed their 35th wedding anniversary Oct. 12, 2001.
In addition to his wife survivors include two sons, Robert P. and his wife, Nancy Spencer, of Oahu, Hawaii, and Paul B. and his wife, Kristina Lambert, of Hopedale; two daughters, Linda J. and her husband, Mitchell Clinton, of Bellingham and Donna M. and her husband, Philip LeClair, of Colchester, Vt.; one brother, Ernest A. Lambert of Milford; two sisters, Blanche Lee of Mendon and Annette Lussier of Hopedale; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
He was also the father of S. Kim Spencer Brock, who died in 1990, and brother of the late William Lambert.
A funeral service with full military honors will take place Wednesday, April 3, at 10 a.m. in the Buma-Sargeant Funeral Home, 42 Congress St., Milford, officiated by the Rev. William Konicki, pastor of Sacred Heart Church of Hopedale.
Burial will follow in the Vernon Grove Cemetery, Cemetery Street, Milford.
Calling hours are Tuesday, April 2, from 6 to 9 p.m. in the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the Caritas Good Samaritan Hospice Inc., 3 Edgewater Drive, Norwood, MA 02062.

Leo H. Lighthiser, 84, of West Paterson, N.J
WEST PATERSON, N.J. - Leo H. Lighthiser, 84, of West Paterson, N.J., died Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2003, in Webster Manor Nursing Home.
He was the husband of Anita (Ksenich) Lighthiser.
Mr. Lighthiser was born in Paterson, N.J., the son of the late George and Ida (Banta) Lighthiser, and attended St. George's School in Paterson. He was a resident of West Paterson for 50 years.
Mr. Lighthiser was employed by the Erie-Lackawanna/Conrail Railroad as a signalman for 39 years in New Jersey and lower New York state.
Mr. Lighthiser was a communicant of St. Bonaventure's Church in Paterson, where he served as petitioner for several years. He was a member of the Tri-Boro Senior Center in West Paterson.
Mr. Lighthiser was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy in the Asiatic-Pacific and American theaters.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Lighthiser leaves his daughter, Harolyn and her husband, Dr. William A. Thiemke, of Mendon; one brother, Thomas Lighthiser of Blairstown, N.J.; four grandchildren, Tania L. Clark of Cumberland, R.I., Diana L. Allison of Buffalo Gap, S.D., Erick W. Thiemke of Belchertown and Sabrina L. Thiemke of Gorham, Maine; two great-grandchildren, William R. Allison and Wrider L. Allison, both of Buffalo Gap, S.D.; and nieces and nephews.
Mr. Lighthiser was the brother of the late George Lighthiser and Norman Lighthiser.
A military funeral service will take place Monday, Feb. 3, at 9 a.m., from the Buma-Sargeant Funeral Home (www.bumafuneralhome.com), 42 Congress St., Milford, followed by a Mass of the Resurrection at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 71 Mendon St., Uxbridge.
Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Granite Street, Uxbridge.
Calling hours are Sunday, Feb. 2, from 1 to 4 p.m., in the funeral home.

Leo H. Lighthiser, 84, of West Paterson, N.J
MILFORD - The funeral service for Leo H. Lighthiser took place Monday, Feb. 3, 2003, from the Buma-Sargeant Funeral Home, 42 Congress St., Milford, followed by a Mass of the Resurrection in St. Mary's Church, Uxbridge, officiated by the Rev. Paul Doherty, pastor.
Joseph Roach assisted on the altar.
St. Mary's Choir offered a musical presence, which included "Ave Maria."
A reading was offered by Dr. William A. Thiemke.
The funeral pall was placed on the casket by Erick Thiemke and Sabrina Thiemke.
Gift bearers included Diana Allison and Tania Clark.
Carolyn Thiemke offered words of love and remembrance.
Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery, Uxbridge, where the Rev. Doherty offered committal prayers.
The American flag was presented to Mrs. Anita Lighthiser by Chief Thomas Lansing, U.S. Navy, in recognition of her husband's service to his country. "Taps" concluded the committal service.
Mr. Lighthiser, 84, of West Paterson, N.J., died Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2003, in Webster Manor Nursing Home.

G. Margaret Pontious
STERLING, Mich. - G. Margaret Pontious, 86, of Sterling, Mich., formerly of Milford, died Wednesday, April 3, 2002, at the Sterling Nursing Center.
She was the husband of Robert W. Pontious, who died Aug. 25, 1972.
She was born in Greenwich, Conn., daughter of the late Anna and Wallace Knowles, then moved to Toledo, Ohio, where she resided for the greater part of her life.
While in Toledo, she was employed by the Ohio Bell Telephone Co., and Lamson's Department Store as a manager for many years. She and her husband were members of the Monroe Street Methodist Church. Mrs. Pontious then moved to Milford and Berlin, where she enjoyed many happy years before moving to Michigan.
She is survived by two sons, Milton C. Pontious of Woodbridge, Va., and Gregory W., husband of EmmaLou Pontious, of Whitinsville; two daughters, Nannette S., wife of William V. Kershow, of Milford and Carolyn A., wife of James H. Reed, of Linwood, Mich.; nine grandchildren, Kristen Henry, William V. Kershow III, Lisa Parnanen, Annick Griffith, Laurie Doss, Seth Reed, Susan Tethal, Robert Pontious, and Corey Pontious; 14 great-grandchildren; one brother, Stanton, husband of Jane Knowles, of Toledo; a sister-in-law, Ruth Ellen Knowles of Stuart, Fla.; and special friends, Joyce and Don Ervick of Midland, Mich.
She was the sister of the late George W. Knowles.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place.
A private family graveside service will take place at a later date at Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Auburn Chapel of the Cunningham-Taylor Funeral Homes Inc.
