Antoinette "Tillie" (Lozzi) Carlucci, 98, of Franklin
FRANKLIN - Antoinette "Tillie" (Lozzi) Carlucci, 98, of Franklin, died Sunday, March 31, 2002, at Milford-Whitinsville Regional Hospital, where she was a patient since Friday.
She was the wife of Michael Carlucci, who died in 1992.
Born in Santa Maria del Molise, Italy, a daughter of the late Luigi and Marianna (Marchetti) Lozzi, she lived in Franklin for 87 years. She came to the United States with her parents when she was 9 years old. They settled in Franklin, where she received her education.
Mrs. Carlucci was a retired homemaker.
She was a member of the Franklin Senior Citizens, the American Association of Retired Persons, Franklin Lodge 1414 Sons of Italy, and was a lifetime communicant of St. Mary's Church.
Survivors include three sons, Gino D. and Michael "Mickey" Carlucci of Franklin and John C. Carlucci of Sandwich; a daughter, Marion Arcaro of Franklin; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was also the mother of the late Florence Bussaglia, and the sister of the late Erminia "Mimi" Arcaro, Joseph Lozzi and Achille Lozzi.
The funeral will take place Friday, April 5, at 8:15 a.m. from the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home, 33 Cottage St., with a funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, 1 Church Square, at 9 a.m.
Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
Calling hour are Thursday, April 4, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Memorial donations may be sent to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.

Jennie (Mauriello) Arcudi, 98, of Milford
MILFORD - Jennie (Mauriello) Arcudi, 98, of Milford, died Monday night, April 1, 2002, in Milford-Whitinsville Regional Hospital, after an illness.
She was the wife of Louis Arcudi, who died in 1987.
Mrs. Arcudi was born in Bonito, Italy, daughter of the late John and Parma (Menicolo) Mauriello, and lived in Milford most of her life.
Survivors include two sons, John Arcudi of Mendon and Louis Arcudi of Milford; one daughter, Antoinette Bernardi of Framingham; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Friday, April 5, at 9:30 a.m. from the James E. Kellett and Son Funeral Home, 21 West St., Milford, followed by a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, East Main Street.
Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Calling hours are Thursday, April 3, from 5 to 8 p.m.

Agnes M. (Hayes) Scanzio, 77, of Walpole
WALPOLE -- Agnes M. (Hayes) Scanzio, 77, of Walpole, formerly of Hyde Park, died Friday, July 25, 2003.
She was the wife of Henry J. Scanzio.
Besides her husband, she leaves her children, Henry J. Scanzio Jr. of Washington St., Norwood, MA 02062.

John S. Wisniowski, 88, of Uxbridge
UXBRIDGE - John S. Wisniowski, 88, of Uxbridge, died Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2003, in the Lydia Taft House in Uxbridge.
He was the husband of Eleanor N. (Stankiewicz) Wisniowski, who died in April 2002.
Mr. Wisniowski was born in Uxbridge, the son of the late John and Julia (Jaszczur) Wisniowski, and was a lifelong resident of Uxbridge. He was a graduate of Uxbridge High School and Worcester Trade School.
Mr. Wisniowski was the custodian of the Whitin School in Uxbridge for 10 years, before retiring in 1979. He was previously employed for Hemingway Trucking in Auburn for 10 years, and the former Backman Uxbridge Worsted for many years.
Mr. Wisniowski was a World War II U.S. Army veteran, serving in Italy.
He was a member of the Polish American Social and Civic Corp. of Uxbridge, and a communicant of Good Shepherd Church in Linwood. He was an avid sports enthusiast and enjoyed growing vegetables in his garden.
He leaves one son, Robert J. Wisniowski of Uxbridge.
He was the brother of Frank Wisniowski, who died in 1991.
A funeral service will take place Monday, Feb. 3, at 8 a.m., from the Buma Funeral Home (www.bumafuneralhome.com), 101 North Main St., Rte. 122, Whitinsville, followed by a Mass of the Resurrection at 9:30 a.m. in the Good Shepherd Church, 121 Linwood St., Linwood section of Northbridge.
Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Granite Street, Uxbridge.
Visitation is Monday, Feb. 3, from 8 to 9 a.m., prior to the funeral Mass in the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the Greater Milford Alzheimer's Alliance, 78 High St., Milford, MA 01757.

Wilbur R. McCallum, 85, of Douglas
DOUGLAS - Wilbur R. McCallum, 85, of Douglas, died Sunday, Nov. 24, 2002, at the St. Camillus Health Care Center in Whitinsville.
He was the husband of 64 years to Jennie M. (Kasavich) McCallum.
Born in Tabusintac, New Brunswick, Canada, he was the son of the late Charles and Collinda (McCallum) McCallum, and a resident of Douglas since 1930.
He graduated from Douglas High School in 1936. He was employed as a carder for the Schuster Woolen Mill, East Douglas, from 1933 until his retirement in 1981. He was a longtime member of the First Congregational Church of Douglas and the Mumford River Lodge of Masons A.F. & A.M. of Douglas. He was also a member of the Douglas Fish and Game Club. He enjoyed hunting and traveling in Canada.
In addition to his wife, he leaves his son, Raymond W. McCallum of Douglas; a brother, C. Roland McCallum of Douglas; a sister, Eleanor Britt of Auburn; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also the father of the late Charles R. McCallum of Westford and Warren D. McCallum of Douglas; and the brother of the late Carson, Donald, Robert and Gerald McCallum, all of Douglas, Hazen McCallum of Whitinsville, Joyce Dudley of Connecticut.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, Nov. 27, at 11 a.m., at the First Congregational Church of Douglas, 3 Common St., Douglas. The Rev. David A. Smith will officiate.
Burial will be in Douglas Center Cemetery, Main Street (Rte. 16), Douglas.
Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, Nov. 26, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the Buma Funeral Home, 101 North Main St., Rte. 122, Uxbridge.
Memorial donations may be made to the First Congregational Church of Douglas, c/o Memorial Fund, 3 Common St., Douglas, MA 01516.

Beatrice M. (Matheson) Sandock, 78, of Wayland
WAYLAND -- Beatrice M. (Matheson) Sandock, 78, of Wayland, died Friday, June 13, 2003, at Emerson Hospital in Concord following a long period of declining health.
She was the wife of Lawrence E. Sandock of Wayland.
Born in Newton, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Edna (Dewar) Matheson.
She had lived in Wayland for the past 43 years and previously lived in Watertown. She was a graduate of Watertown High School and of Bryant College in Boston. She retired several years ago after more than 15 years of dedicated service as a special needs secretary for the town of Wayland Happy Hollow School and the Loker School.
She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family.
Besides her husband, she leaves two sons, Philip M. Sandock and his wife, Claudineia, of Marlborough and Paul J. Sandock and his wife, Andrea, of New Hartford, Maine; and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be Monday, June 16, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road, off Rte. 30, Wayland.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 17, at 9:30 a.m. at the Sudbury United Methodist Church, 251 Old Sudbury Road, Rte. 27, Sudbury, with the Rev. Don Rudalevige officiating.
Burial will follow in the Sandock family lot at North Cemetery in Wayland.

Jay Jordan, 95, of Uxbridge
UXBRIDGE -- Jay Jordan, 95, of Uxbridge, died Thursday, May 15, 2003, in the Lydia Taft House in Uxbridge.
Memorial services will take place Saturday, June 21, at 10 a.m., in the Mendon Unitarian Church, Maple Street, Mendon, officiated by the Rev. Ralph Galen.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Swan Dale Cemetery, Hartford Avenue West, Mendon.
Arrangements are under the direction of Buma Funeral Home (www.bumafuneralhome.com), 101 North Main St., Rte. 122, Uxbridge.
Instead of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Milford-Whitinsville Regional Hospital, Attn. VNA, 14 Prospect St., Milford, MA 01757, or to Catholic Charities, 9 Spring St., Whitinsville, MA 01588.

Harold H. Wassenar, 91, of Uxbridge
UXBRIDGE - Harold H. Wassenar, 91, of Uxbridge, died Thursday, April 10, 2003, in the Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Care Center in Westborough.
He was the husband of Lola H. (Peloquin), who died in 2001.
Born in Uxbridge, Aug. 31, 1911, he was the son of the late Bert J. and Anna (Krull) Wassenar and was a longtime resident of Uxbridge.
He was a graduate of the former Worcester Boys Trade School and Fitchburg State Teachers College.
He was a quality assurance engineer for Raytheon Corp., in Newport, R.I., for seven years, retiring in 1976. He was previously employed as supervisor of inspection services for 35 years, at the former Whitin Machine Works in Whitinsville. He was also an inventor for the company.
He owned and operated Sylvan Engineering, a custom precision machining and dial indicator repair company in Uxbridge for 50 years.
He was a lifelong member of the Pleasant Street Reformed Church in Whitinsville and taught Sunday school for several years. He had also served as secretary of the School Board for the Whitinsville Christian School in Whitinsville.
He is survived by two sons, Byron J. Wassenar of Marlborough and Harold B. "Pete" Wassenar of Uxbridge; two daughters, Joan A. Davis of Whitinsville, and Chris A. Graveson of Uxbridge; 10 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also the father of the late Bert J. Wassenar of Linwood.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 12, 2003, at 10 a.m., in the Pleasant Street Christian Reformed Church, 25 Cross St., Whitinsville. The Rev. William G. Vis, will officiate.
Burial will follow in South Sutton Cemetery, Hough Road, in Sutton.
Calling hours will be held today, from 6 to 9 p.m., in the Buma Funeral Home, 480 Church St., at the Whitinsville section of Northbridge.
Instead of flowers, donations may be made to the Christian Reformed World Relief Committee, 2850 Kalamazoo Avenue, S.E. Grand Rapids, MI 49560.
