Julius Maskeliunas
WEBSTER - Julius Maskeliunas, 83, of 2 Golden Heights, formerly of 3 Lenora St., Worcester, died Monday April 23, in his home.
He leaves his wife of 52 years, Anele (Baliunas) Maskeliunas; two daughters, Sabina M. Spratt of Worcester and Nijole B.Price of Webster; a brother and two sisters in Lithuania; three grandsons, one granddaughter; four great - grandchildren and nephews and nieces. He was born and raised in Lithuania, son of Kasimir and Marcella (Maskeliunas) Maskeliunas and came to the United States in 1951 settling in Worcester. He lived in Worcester for many years and came to Webster 13 years ago.
Mr. Maskeliunas was a machine set up man for more than 30 years for Worcester Chrome Furniture Co. He retired in 1983.
He was educated in Lithuania.
Mr. Maskeliunas was a member of St. Casimir's Church in Worcester; the Lithuania National Guard and the Lithuanian Charitable Society. He was a former member of Our Lady of Vilna Church in Worcester.
The fuenral will be held Thursday April 26, from Dirsa - Kazlauskas Funeral Home, 51 Providence St., Worcester with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Casimir's Church, 41 Providence St., Worcester. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours in the funeral home are Wednesday April 25 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Worcester - Joseph F Tribandis 73 of 185 Country Club Blvd. An avid sports enthusiast, died Sunday in Saint Vincent Hospital following an illness.
He is survived by his former wife Marlene (Gafvert) Tribandis, three sons Thomas N Tribandis of Winthrop Mass. Martin A Tribandis and Steve J Tribandis both of Worcester. A brother Albin Tribandis of Holden amd a sister Josephine Clifford of Worcester two grandchildren, nieces and nephews.Another sister Alberta Egan of Worcester pre - deceased him.
Mr. Tribandis was born in Worcester, a son of Louis and Eva (Pigaga) Tribandis and lived her all of his life. He was a graduate of the Worcester Boy's Trade High School where he was an All - City Football and Basketball Player and was the recipient of a full football scholarship to the University of Florida died before him. He was born in Worcester, son of John and Mary (Yanusaitis) Morkunas and lived here all his life.
Mr. Morkunas was a shipper and receiver 10 years for Madison Wire and Cable Co., and retired in 1989. Before then he was a shipping and receiving foreman for R.G. Shakour Co., in Westborough for 25 years./p
He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Mr. Morkunas was a member of the Auburn Sportsmen Club, the Lithuanian War Veterans Organization and was a former member and past secretary of the Lithuanian Social Club. He was an avid fisherman enjoying ice, deep sea and fresh water fishing. He also enjoyed boating.
The funeral will be held on Thursday April 12, with a service at 10 a.m. in Dirsa - Kazlauskas Funeral Home, 51 Providence St. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours in the funeral home are Wednesday April 11, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Joseph J. Rutkevicz
WORCESTER - Joseph J. Rutkevicz, 88, of 70 Briarwood Circle died Wednesday April 4, in his home.
His wife of 58 years, Helen F. (Gwozdouski) Rutkevicz died in 1996.
He leaves his daughter, Carol J. Early of Holden; three granddaughters, Christine Early, Kathleen Early and Colleen Early all of Holden; and several nephews and nieces. He was born in Massachusetts, Inc., 120 Thomas St., Worcester, 01608.

Nellie F. (Snarskis) Loda
WORCESTER - Nellie F. (Snarskis) Loda, 92, formerly of 8 Sheridan St., died Sunday April 8 in Hermitage Nursing Home, 383 Mill St.
Her husband of 50 years Alfonso F. Loda died in 1988./p
She leaves a son, Peter D. Loda of Charleston, Georgia died in 1998. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Peter and Petronella Snarskis and lived here all her life.
Mrs. Loda was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and Our Lady of Vilna Church.
The funeral will be held Wednesday April 11, from Dirsa - Kazlauskas Funeral Home, 51 Providence St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 600 Cambridge St. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. There are no calling hours.

Ana Nieves - Cortes
WORCESTER - Ana Nieves - Cortes 71 of 15 Loxwood Street died Saturday in Sunbridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Millbury.
Her husband of fifty years, Jacinto Nieves died in 1999. She is survived by two sons Albert Nieves of The Bronx New York, Gladys Anatala of Florida, Maria D Cortes of Puerto Rico Maria A Nieves of New York. Eight grandchildren and a great grandchild.
She was born in Aquadilla Puerto Rico a daughter of Pedro and Ana ( Crespo) Cortes. And lived many years in New York City and later received an Asociates Degree from The College of Staten Island and a Bachelors Degree from York College. Mrs Nieves - Cortes worked a a Bi - Lingual Teacher in the Massachusetts Air National Guard, 101st ACW Flight and served a year of active duty in Giebelstadt, Germany, during the Berlin Crisis in 1961 - 1962. Mr. Aquino was a Product Manager for Honeywell Company in Newton and Billerica for 15 years. He had previously worked for 3 C in Framingham, and Raytheon, in Waltham as an electronics technician. He was also a part time radio engineer for Radio station WAAB. He was a member of the Cathedral Church of Saint Paul.
The funeral for Mr. Aquino will be held Wednesday, November 17, from MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Worcester, with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in The Cathedral of Saint Paul, 15 Chatham Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in Saint John’s Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, November 16, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Outreach Program at Saint Paul’s Cathedral, 38 High Street, 01609 or The VNA Care Hospice, 120 Thomas St. 01608.
