71, of Eldersburg
Myrtle Kathalene Ward Wine, 71, of Eldersburg, died Oct. 4, 1997.
She was the daughter of the late Chester and Lucy Ward.
She was the wife of Ralph W. Wine Sr.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are children Pamela E. Hines and Ralph ``Billy'' W. Wine Jr.; sisters Marie Smith and Agnes Monroe; brother James Ward; and three grandchildren.
Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Slack Funeral Home, 3871 Old Columbia Pike, Ellicott City.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday from the funeral home. Interment will be in Good Shepherd Cemetery.

John N. Lloyd Sr.
79, of Reisterstown
John Nelson Lloyd Sr., 79, of Reisterstown, died Sunday, Jan. 31, 1999, at his home.
Born Oct. 26, 1919, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Dr. Howard H. Lloyd and Mary Gladding Lloyd. He was the husband of Doris Burke Lloyd.
He spent 36 years with the D.N. Owens Printing Co., retiring as vice president of the company. He was a 1939 graduate of John Hopkins University.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are sons John N. Lloyd Jr. of Towson, Barry R. Lloyd of Bel Air; and Timothy A. Lloyd of Reisterstown; brother Dr. Robert C. Lloyd of Baltimore; sister Virginia L. Bradley of Baltimore; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown, with the Rev. Frederick J. Hanna officiating. Interment will be in Druid Ridge Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Northwest Hospital Center, Old Court Road, Randallstown, MD 21133.

Thelma E. Mueller
90, of Westminster
Thelma E. Mueller, 90, of Westminster, formerly of Baltimore, died Saturday evening, Jan. 30, 1999, at Carroll Lutheran Village Health Care Center.
Born Sept. 22, 1908, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late George Henry Oed and Anna Isabella Redmann Oed. She was the wife of Louis Cass Mueller Sr., who died in 1991.
She was a graduate of Towson High School.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Parkville, and of the Overlea Homemakers.
Surviving are daughters and sons-in-law Shirley M. and Richard Cyr of Port Charlotte, Fla., and Thelma A. and John Livermon of Orefield, Pa.; sons and daughters-in-law Ronald L. and Carol Mueller of Baltimore, and Louis C. Mueller Jr. and Louise Mueller of Edgewood; 22 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Krug Chapel Auditorium at Carroll Lutheran Village, 300 St. Luke Circle, Westminster, with the Rev. Jimmie L. Schwartz officiating. Interment will be in Gardens of Faith Cemetery, Baltimore.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the Myers Funeral Home, 91 Willis St., Westminster, and from noon until the time of the service Tuesday at Krug Chapel Auditorium.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Krug Chapel Fund, 300 St. Luke Circle, Westminster, MD 21158.

Eunice Marie Ridgely
92, of Finksburg
Eunice Marie Lorentz Ridgely, 92, of Finksburg, died Saturday, Jan. 30, 1999, at Westminster Nursing Home, Westminster.
Born Nov. 21, 1906, in Hoods Mills, she was the daughter of the late Harry Franklin Lorentz and Etta Hughes Lorentz. She was the wife of the late Charles Herbert Ridgely.
She was a retired cashier for Springfield State Hospital. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Finksburg.
Surviving are sons Franklin W. Underwood of Sykesville, and Raymond L. Underwood of Cockeysville; five grandsons; and three great-granddaughters.
She was predeceased by one grandson.
Funeral services and interment will be private.
There will be no visitation.
Arrangements are by Burrier-Queen Funeral Directors, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd., Winfield.

Anita E. Shaw
71, of Westminster
Anita E. Shaw, 71, of Westminster, died early Sunday, Jan. 31, 1999, at Carroll County General Hospital, after an extended illness.
Born Dec. 31, 1927, in Fairchance, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Sidney and Ethel Wilson Gaskill. She was the wife of W. Harvey Shaw, who died Nov. 13, 1983.
Before retiring, she and her husband were the owners of Harvey's Drive-In, in Greenmount.
She was a member of St. James United Methodist Church, VFW Post No. 467 Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion Post No. 31 Ladies Auxiliary, Women of the Moose Lodge No. 897 and the Ladies of the Elks Westminster Lodge No. 2277.
Surviving are sons and daughters-in-law William ``Bill'' H. Shaw Jr. and Carol Shaw of Hopwood, Pa., Barry L. and Rita Shaw of Monrovia, and Clarence B. and Sandy Shaw of Hanover, Pa.; daughter Rhonda L. Shaw of Westminster; sons Daniel S. ``Danny'' Shaw of Westminster, Allen ``Keith'' Shaw of New Oxford, Pa.; brother Ray Gaskill of Hollywood; and six grandchildren.
She was predeceased by daughter Cathy R. Shaw Ardinger; and sister Betty Edwards.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Fletcher Funeral Home, 254 E. Main St., Westminster, with her pastor, the Rev. M. Therese Modesto, officiating. Interment will be in St. James Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. James United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, 3000 Marston Road, New Windsor, MD 21776.

Helen Marie Stoll
75, of Westminster
Helen Marie Stoll, 75, of Westminster, died Sunday, Jan. 31, 1999, at Carroll Lutheran Village.
Born May 2, 1923, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James O'Malley. She was the wife of the late Carl J. Stoll.
She had been a homemaker and loved to dote on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are sons and daughter-in-law Gary J. and Lenora Stoll of Bethany Beach, Del., and Rodney S. and Terri Stoll of Baltimore; daughter and son-in-law Cherie A. and Danny Shell of Westminster; sister Doris Ostrander of Baltimore; three grandsons; and four great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by sister Catherine Bradshaw.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Taneytown. Interment will be in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, where a Christian Wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m., at the Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster.

Raymond J. Woods
34, of Westminster
Raymond J. Woods, 34, of Westminster, died suddenly Jan. 30, 1999, in the Philippines.
Born May 25, 1964, in Norfolk, Va., he was the son of James A. Woods and Inge Hegen Woods of Clements. He was the husband of Dina Hansen Woods, his wife of 10 years.
He was a 1982 graduate of Chopticon High School and attended Charles County Community College. He served in the Navy on the nuclear submarine U.S.S. Vallejo. He was a director of business development, energy services for General Physics Corp.
He loved to spend time playing with his children, golfing and occasionally fishing.
Surviving, in addition to his parents and wife, are daughters Stefanie, Ashley and Brittany Woods of Westminster; sisters Donna Brown of Potomac, and Diana Williams of Waldorf; brother David Woods of Leonardtown; and grandmother Iva M. Woods of Coltons Point.
A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, at the Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster with the Rev. Larry Steen officiating. Interment will be private.
The family will receive friends from 3:30 p.m. until the time of the service Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Woods Educational Trust Fund for his children, in the care of Union National Bank, 117 E. Main St., Westminster, MD 21157.

Joseph E. `Ernie' Ewing
66, of New Windsor
Joseph Ernest ``Ernie'' Ewing, 66, of New Windsor, died Sunday, Oct. 31, 1999, at Carroll County General Hospital, Westminster.
Born Dec. 22, 1932, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Howard Ewing and Hester McAllister Ewing. He was the husband of Gloria A. Williams Ewing.
He was retired from Windsor Electrical Co., Owings Mills.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are sons and daughters-in-law Stephen R. and Debra L. Schuette of Lineboro and David R. and Janet L. Schuette of Westminster; sisters Mary Ryan, Gertrude Schisler, and Esther Allender, all of Baltimore; brother James Ewing of Baltimore; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Burrier-Queen Funeral Directors, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield, with the Rev. Ira Barr of Millers United Methodist Church, Millers officiating. Interment will be in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

William Ginter Jr.
80, of Owings Mills
William Ginter Jr., 80, of Owings Mills, died Sunday, Oct. 31, 1999, at Northwest Hospital Center, Randallstown, after an extended illness.
He was the husband of Maria Ginter.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are children Sandra Sales and Robert Ginter.
Funeral arrangements by Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, Owings Mills, are incomplete at this time.

Charlotte M. Ireland
of New Oxford
Charlotte M. Hess Ireland, of New Oxford, died Saturday evening, Oct. 30, 1999, at Hanover Hospital.
Born Feb. 25, 1927, in Littlestown, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Luther S. and Carrie Byers Hess. She was the wife of George F. Ireland, her husband of 51 years.
She was a 1946 graduate of Littlestown High School. She was a homemaker. She was a former member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Littlestown; St. Mary's United Church of Christ, Silver Run; former president of the Ladies Auxiliary; former secretary of the class of 1946 reunion; and 567 AAA Bn. Association World War II.
Surviving, in addition to her husband are sons George F. Ireland Jr. of Price, Ronald L. Ireland of Manchester, and Timothy J. Ireland of New Oxford, Pa.; daughter Peggy I Robinson of Hanover, Pa.; brothers Bernard H. Hess of Hanover, Pa., Leroy Hess of Jefferson, Wis., and Luther S. Hess Jr. of Spring Grove, Pa.; sisters Helen Schwartz and Betty Wiseman, both of Littlestown, Pa., Anna Harner of Lynwood, N.C., and Mary Ellen Dukeminier of Hanover, Pa.; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Little's Funeral Home, 34 Maple Ave., Littlestown, Pa., with the Rev. Paul Aumen officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover, Pa.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Ruth V. Jenkins
83, of Westminster
Ruth Virginia Jenkins, 83, of Westminster, died Saturday, Oct. 30, 1999, at Carroll Lutheran Village Health Care Center, after a brief illness.
Born May 16, 1916, in Oak Orchard, she was the daughter of the late William W. and Helen Virginia Eckard Dudderar. She was the wife of Dr. David S. Jenkins, who died in 1985.
She graduated from Liberty High School in 1933 and from Towson State Teachers College in 1939 with a bachelor of science degree in elementary education. She received her master's degree in administration and supervision from Columbia University, New York, in 1947. For 37 years, she taught school in Anne Arundel County, and she ended her career as assistant superintendent of schools of Anne Arundel County. She was a member of Linganore United Methodist Church, Unionville; the Maryland State and Anne Arundel County Retired Teachers Associations and Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority.
Surviving are sisters Naomi D. Smith of Westminster, with whom she resided, Myra D. Koontz of Walkersville and Elaine D. Startz of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by brother E. Alton Dudderar, who died in 1980.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Krug Chapel Auditorium, 300 St. Luke Circle, Carroll Lutheran Village, Westminster, with her pastor, the Rev. Darryl Zoller, and the Rev. Jimmie Schwartz, chaplain of Carroll Lutheran Village, officiating. Private graveside services will be at Linganore Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
There will be no visitation.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Linganore United Methodist Church Organ Fund, 8921 Clemsonville Road, Union Bridge, MD 21791 or to Assisted Living at Carroll Lutheran Village, 300 St. Luke Circle, Westminster, MD 21158.

Jack E. Masimore
62, of Manchester
Jack Edward Masimore, 62, of Manchester, died Saturday, Oct. 30, 1999, at his home.
Born June 30, 1937, in Hampstead, he was the son of the late Chester and Evelyn Leppo Masimore. He was the husband of Pat Burk Masimore.
He retired after 42 years from Schindler Corp. as an elevator technician. He was a member of Lebanon 175 AF&AM, past master three times and past grand inspector, Lebanon Chapter 108, Scottish Rite 32 Degrees, Boumi Temple, Western Maryland Shrine Club. He was Maryland Master Mason of the Year in 1998. He enjoyed camping and traveling.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are brother James H. Masimore Sr. of Hampstead; sister Helen Bresnick of Baltimore; and half-sister Francis Armacost of Hampstead.
He was predeceased by brother Arthur Masimore; sister Bertie Simpers; half-brother Kenneth Masimore; and half-sister Dorothy Hollingsworth.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Eline Funeral Home, 934 S. Main St., Hampstead, officiating. Interment will be in New Lutheran Cemetery, Manchester.
Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. A Masonic service will be held at 8 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to Westminster Church of God, c/o Building Fund, Md. 27 and Lucabaugh Mill Road, Westminster, MD 21157.

Sharon L. Webber
42, of Owings Mills
Sharon Lynn Webber, 42, of Owings Mills, died Friday, Oct. 29, 1999, at Gilchrist Hospice Center, Towson.
Born March 27, 1957, in Washington State, she was the daughter of Robert A. Webber Sr. and Gloria Walrath Webber of Reisterstown.
She had been employed by the Maryland State Highway Administration.
Surviving, in addition to her parents, are daughter Amber Nicole Webber of Reisterstown; brothers Robert A. Webber Jr. of Glen Burnie and Randolph Alan Webber of Glen Burnie; sisters Donna L. Leister of Cummings, Ga., Robin S. Krell of Reisterstown, and Leslie J. Upole of Glen Burnie.
Funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown. Interment will be private.
Friends may call from 7 p.m. until time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
