Passed Away At her home in Pratt, Pratt Co., Kansas

Etta Marie Nixon was my great Aunt. She was so kind to others, always helping out and helping the elderly.

I was always very close to her myself. I spent so much time with her and I would call her every morning and then started to call both morning and afternoon when she would start losing her memory.

Everyone thought she was very healthy because she never had to take any precribed medicine from the doctor; all she just had to do was take her medicine like Ibuprofin and stuff like that because her shoulders would always hurt her and she went to the doctors but they didn't find anything wrong with her.

Well, on the morning of August 20th, my mother and father had told me she had past away and I didn't believe them at first, but they were right because when my grandmother came over, which was one of her sisters, she said that she did see Aunt Etta and she did say that she was just lying on the couch and said that she looked just like my Great Grandmother (her mother).

I had a special relationship with her and I had a special name I called her: it is Nanny. She was like a great grandmother to me and I will always miss her.

I LOVE YOU NANNY, JUST REMEMBER...YOU WILL ALWAYS BE IN MY HEART!!!!!!!
