BEST, William I., 73, of Edmore, formerly of Alpena, died Thursday, May 6 1999, at Kelsey Memorial Hospital in Lakeview. Mr. Best is survived by his wife, Frieda R. (Timm); two daughters, Barbara (Mrs. Jim) Geiger of Rochester Hills and Betty Keeler of Americus, Ga.; six grandchildren, Nicholas, Matthew, Julie, Andrew, Clifton and Mariah; one great-grandson, Jacob; three sisters, Pauline (Mrs. Bernard) Sikkema of Bullhead City, Ariz., Carole (Mrs. Edward) Schulte of Warren and Patricia Edgerton of Lennox. EKMAN, June L. Smith, 80, formerly of Englewood, Fla., and Hubbard Lake, died Wednesday, Sept. 22, 1999 at The Masonic Home. Survivors include her husband, Sven G. Mrs. Idalski is survived by a son, Robert and wife Nancy Idalski of Dewitt; three grandchildren, Susan (Mrs. David) Lucian of Dewitt, Michael and wife Ellie Idalski of Grand Ledge, and Julie (Mrs. T.J.) Weaver of Okemos; four great-grandchildren, Erin and Brian Lucian, Beau Idalski and Oliver Weaver; three brothers, Carl and Florian, both of Alpena, and John of Texas; a sister, Victoria Maxwell of Scottsdale, Ariz.; several nieces and nephews.
