Howell, Pauline E.
Saginaw, Michigan Daughter of Chris and Meta (Blank) Zettel. She married Clinton Howell on May 16, 1942. They had a son, Ronald on April 17, 1946. She was predeceased by her father in 1943, mother in 1948, son in 1999, sister-in-law Betty Jean Muehlenbeck in 1998, and nephew Jim Smith in 2004. She graduated from Arthur Hill High School in 1938.She was employed by the Schust Baking Company and G. A. Alderton Wholesale Grocery. She retired from the Saginaw Board of Education in 1984 after 30 years. She enjoyed reading, playing cards, ceramics, and travel in all 50 states. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, the Michigan.
A former resident of Saginaw passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2003 at V. A. Medical Center in Battle Creek, Mich. Carl was born December 1, 1909 in Saginaw to the late William O. and Mary M. (Newman) Huebner. He married Renata K. Bauer on March 4, 1944. She predeceased him on May 7, 1988. Carl served in the US Army during WWII. Surviving is a niece and her husband, Dr. Richard and Barbara Dew and their children, Bradley and Paula, Ann Arbor, MI; a great-niece and her husband, Alvin and Jean Loachridge and their children, Julie, James, Jennifer, and John, St. Charles, MI. Carl was also predeceased by his twin sisters, Pauline Coon and Apoline McKay.
Funeral service will take place 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 6, 2003 at the Wakeman Funeral Home, Inc., 1218 N. Michigan
Passed away Thursday afternoon March 24, 2005 at the Saginaw Geriatrics Home. Age 93 years. Louise Maul was born March 1, 1912 in Alswego, Michigan
Passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2006 at Covenant Medical Center-Cooper. Age 73 years. Thomas Cayetano Huron was born on November 29, 1932 to the late Manuel & Irene (DeLeon) Huron. He was married to Carolyn Rocha on February 14, 1953 in Saginaw. She survives him. Tom was first employed as a bellhop for Bancroft Hotel; he later became the head custodian for Bridgeport Spaulding Community Schools, retiring in 1998. Tom was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church; he served on the Parish Council, Men’s Club, and the PAGA-serving as treasurer. In his spare time he enjoyed golfing, hunting and fishing. His grandchildren will remember him for many things especially, his special nickname Tommy Kool, and his creativity in constructing things. Surviving in addition to his wife Carolyn; two daughters; Susan (Ted) Kessler of Ionia, Denise (Mark) Doozan of Saginaw; six grandchildren; Justin, Kara, Lauren, Julia, Andrew, Matthew; nine brothers and sisters; Manuel (Aurora) Huron, Helen (George) Hernandez, Frank (Abby) Huron, Alex (June) Rendon, Yolanda (Bob) Ayala, David (Mary Lou) Rendon, Gloria (Alex) Hernandez, Joe Rendon and Rose (Gary) Janiskee, also many nieces and nephews. Tom was preceded in death by his stepfather, Alejandro Rendon, sister, Olga Luis, brother, Jesse Rendon and sister-in-law, Sandy Rendon.
Funeral - Funeral Liturgy will take place 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 7, 2006 at St. Joseph Catholic Church 902 N. Sixth St., Fr. Ramiro Trejo, OFMCap will officiate with Rite of Committal in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Visitation - Friends may call at the Deisler Funeral Home 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until time of mass. There will be Vigil for the Deceased on Wednesday at 7:30 at the funeral home.
Memorials - In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church Building Fund.
Johnson, Jr., Arthur
Saginaw, Michigan to the late Arthur and Edith (Thorp) Johnson. He married Lieselotte “Lotte” Wachinger on March 10, 1955 in Germany. Lotte, his loving wife of 51 years, passed away October 22, 2006. Now, less than a year later, he has rejoined her. Arthur was a veteran of WWII and the Korean War he fought with the 101st Airborne where he was one of its first members. He taught Rangers at Ft. Benning in Michigan.
Beloved wife of Ronn Kabobel passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at Covenant Medical Center-Cooper. Age 68 years. Shirley was born on March 9, 1937 in Bridgeport, Mich. to the late Leonard and Leona (Pretzer) Redburn. She was married to Ronald F. Kabobel on February 1, 1958 in Saginaw, where he survives her. Shirley was a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church. Surviving besides her husband, Ronn, are their three children, Kimberley Gaffney, Lake City, Mich.; Kristine Kabobel, Saginaw; Aaron Kabobel, St. Clair Shores, Mich.; three grandchildren, Brooke (Russell) Purkiss, Joseph Spahr, Ronald Spahr; two great-grandchildren, Taylor Purkiss, Waylon Purkiss; one brother and two sisters, Gerald (Yvonne) Redburn, Janice (Lee) Perkins, Carol (Roy) Moe; many nieces and nephews; parents-in-law, Gotto and Ella Kabobel, Saginaw. She was predeceased by a son, Ronald F. Kabobel, Jr. on February 3, 1967.
Funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 4, 2006 at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 2110 Brockway. The Rev. Kathleen Basner will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the Wakeman Funeral Home, Inc., 1218 N. Florida

Marion was called home to her Lord on Saturday, April 1, 2006 from the Hospice of Volusia-Flagler Care Center, Port Orange, Fla. at the age of 95 years young. Marion Greve was born December 10, 1910 in Saginaw to the late John C. and Mary E. (Messner) Greve. She was married to George Martin Kaiser on October 24, 1935 and he predeceased her on September 25, 1963. She was a longtime member of Holy Cross Ev.Lutheran Church, active in the Ladies Aid Society and the Altar Guild. Upon her move to NC; Steven (Alicia) Groth, Jacksonville, Fla.; three great-grandchildren, Kaytlin Groth; Kiersten and Austin Groth; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Elizabeth (Fred) Dulmage, Sun City, Ariz.; Helen Dill, Bay City, Mich.; one niece, four nephews and their families, Judy Rogers, Toledo, Michigan Ave., Saginaw.
