DAVID LEROY FREELAND SR.
Mr. David Leroy Freeland Sr. of Live Oak, Florida. He was a member of the Wildwood United Methodist Church in Wildwood, Florida; three sons, James D. of Live Oak, Michael D. of Clearwater, Florida; two daughters, Dawn Jescke of Sumterville, Georgia; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, JoAnn R. Freeland of Caro and Dorothy J. Hoover of Fairgrove; and one brother Wright "Bud" Freeland of Barrington, Georgia.
GARY D. WILSON
Mr. Gary D. Wilson of Millington died suddenly on Saturday, April 22, 2000 in Shenandoah Valley, Virginia. He was 55 years of age. Born in Bay City on March 24, 1945 he was the son of Donald and Maxine (Osentowski) Wilson. He was a resident of Millington since 1972 when he moved from Fairgrove. Mr. Wilson graduated from Akron-Fairgrove High School and attended Mott College in Flint for two years. He was employed with Buick Motor Division where he was a Journeyman-Skilled Trades for over 30 years. He also enjoyed farming and loved flying as a hobby.
On November 26, 1978 he married Marcia Ward. Together they celebrated 21 years of marriage.
Mr. Wilson is survived by three children and their spouses, Kim and Darren Williams of Waterford, Michael Gary and Jacqueline Wilson of Fenton, Steven Brian Wilson of Shelby Township; two granddaughters, Madison Maria and MacKenzie Meika; his parents Donald and Maxine Wilson of Fairgrove; brothers and sisters Kenny and Kathy Wilson of Fairgrove, Janice Anklam of Reese, Randy and Nancy Wilson of Hartland, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on Friday, April 28, 2000 at the Millington United Methodist Church with Pastor Tom Keef officiating. Interment was in Millington Township Cemetery.

MARCIA KAY WILSON
Mrs. Marcia Kay Wilson of Millington died suddenly on Saturday, April 22, 2000 in Shenandoah Valley, Virginia. She was 53 years of age. Born in Flint on November 25, 1946 she was the daughter of Lyle and Lilly Ward. On November 26, 1978 she married Gary D. Wilson. Together they shared 21 years of marriage.
Mrs. Wilson had over 25 years experience with General Motors in Flint and Saginaw.
Surviving is her family; father, Kyle Ward of Clio; a half-sister and husband, Diane and Jerry LeMay, two nieces, Teresa Spicer of Savannah, North Carolina, she was the daughter of James A. and Rosa M (Wood) Piske. She came to Michigan; one sister, three brothers and their spouses, Darlene and Durk Brown of Kirksville, Michigan, Dean and April Piske of Reese and Dale Piske of Traverse City; and two nephews.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 21, 2001 at the Caro United Methodist Church with Rev. John Becker of the Vassar First Presbyterian Church officiating.

ERNEST C. AUERNHAMER
Ernest C. Auernhamer died at his home following a brief illness on Monday, July 9, 2001. He was 73 years of age.
Mr. Auernhamer was born the son of Carl J. and Alma E. (Hecht) Auernhamer on October 8, 1927 in Denmark Township.
Mr. Auernhamer was confirmed and an active member of St. Michael's Lutheran Church and school in Richville having served in various capacities. He was drafted in 1950 and served two years in the United States Army during the Korean War. Mr. Auernhamer retired from Consumers Power (Power Company) Energy in Saginaw after 36 years of service. He voluntarily served with the Richville Fire Department, was a member of the Richville Conservation Club and the Richville Lion's Club where he participated in numerous fundraising campaigns and was the last remaining charter member of the club. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, wildlife, wine and sausage making, farming, gardening and spending time with his family and friends.
Surviving are his children and their spouses and grandchildren, Roger E. and Patty Auernhamer and their children, Katlyn and Kyler of Longmont, Colorado, Audrey and Arlis VanDeVeer and their children, Robin and Sally of Vassar, Ann E. Basnight and her children, Neeah and Harry of Sterling, Virginia, Phyllis G. and Greg Squanda and their children, Megan and Aaron of Saginaw, Bradley W. and Ann Auernhamer and their children Kara and Kyle of Vassar. Also surviving is one sister and three brothers and their spouses, Lorna M. Kern of Vassar, Ruben R. and Mildred Auernhamer of Frankenmuth, Howard E. and Edith Auernhamer of Vassar and Glenn N. and Nancy Auernhamer of Reese. Also Janet Wilson Auernhamer, the mother of his children, his dear and close friend Beverly Wolinski, of Prudenville and extended family and many good friends.
Funeral services were held on Friday, July 13, 2001 at St. MichaelŐs Lutheran Church in Richville with Rev. David E. Hakes and Rev. Wesley L. Gillaspie officiating. Interment was in St. Michael's Cemetery.
Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the Leader Dog for the Blind, Ohio, Jeremy and Melissa Petzold, John and Heather Petzold, all of Vassar; seven great-grandchildren, Sean O'Connor, Rachel and Zachary List, Eric and Jonathan Bauer, Landon and Serena Petzold; a sister, Norma Hegenauer of Frankenmuth; a sister-in-law, Leona Woelzlein of Birch Run; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Winfried Woelzlein, a son-in-law, Gilbert List, seven brothers-in-law and six sisters-in-law.
Funeral services were held Friday, July 13, 2001 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Millington with burial following at the Millington Township Cemetery. Pastor Timothy Bickel officiated.
Memorials may be directed to St. Paul Lutheran Church, the Frankenmuth Lutheran Home or the charity of one's choice.
Arrangements were in the care of Hanlin Funeral Home, Millington.
