Evelyn "Peggy" LeBlanc
Services for Evelyn LeBlanc, 83, of Livonia will be held at 10 a.m., Oct. 22 at St. Kenneth Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph Mallia officiating.
Mrs. LeBlanc was born April 18, 1919 in Laurium, Mich. and died Oct. 16 in Livonia. She was a cook at Frost Junior High School in Livonia, having worked for the public schools from 1958 to 1981. She came to the Livonia community in 1955 from Detroit. Peggy was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Livonia and St. Kenneth Catholic Church in Plymouth. She was a member of the Livonia senior citizens and St. Edith Church senior group. She loved to play cards, play Bingo, cook and bake. She loved to travel with her husband and visit relatives.
Mrs. LeBlanc was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, George; seven brothers; two sisters; and grandson, Matt Anderson.
Survivors include children, Marcia (Joseph) Rosati of Livonia, Debbie (David) Anderson of Plymouth, Beverly Hrbal of Livonia, and Paul (Diana) LeBlanc of Livonia; grandchildren, Diane (James) Hickox, Shelly (Greg) Belander, Curt (Diana) Borensik, Jeffery (Lauren) Borenski, Mark Borensik, Christopher Hrbal, Carrie Borenski, Julia Hrbal, Adam Borenski, Bridgette LeBlanc, and Keith LeBlanc; ten great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Diana Guibord of Dearborn Heights.
Memorial contributions may be made to Angela Hospice, Livonia, Florida; brothers, Raymond Walbridge of Canton, Bryon Walbridge of Livonia, and Robin Walbridge of Canton; sister, Tina (John) Bury of Livonia; niece, Ashley; and nephew, Daniel.

Irene L. Sierak
Services for Irene Sierak, 81, of Plymouth, were held Oct. 20 at the Vermeulen Funeral Home, Westland with the Rev. Leonard Partensky officiating.
Mrs. Sierak was born Aug. 24, 1921 in Detroit and died Oct. 17 in Livonia. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include husband, Ted Sierak of Plymouth; son, Jerry Sierak of Westland; daughters, Judy (Leon) Goolsby of Port St. Lucie, Fla. and Linda (Dale) Barnhardt of Plymouth; grandchildren, Jennifer MacKinnon, Nancy Selstad, Adam Bernhardt, and Mitchell Bernhardt; and great-grandchildren, Nina MacKinnon, Heidi MacKinnon, Cassidy MacKinnon, and Gunnar Selstad.

Stephanie H. Wallace
Services for Stephanie Wallace, 76, of Canton will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 25 at St. Thomas a' Becket Catholic Church with the Rev. R. Kelly officiating.
Mrs Wallace was born Dec. 12, 1926 in Detroit and died Oct. 19 in Canton. She was an engineering coordinator at Ford Motor Company until retirement.
Survivors include son, Robert (Dorothy) Wallace, Jr.; and grandchildren, Kristin, Robert III, and Lindsey.

Margaret N. Baude
Services for Margaret Baude, 83, of Suwaneeok, Ga. (formerly of Plymouth) were held Oct. 22 at Bill Head Funeral Home Duluth Chapel with the Rev. Tamlyn Collins officiating.
Mrs. Baude, a native of Ann Arbor, was a grade school teacher, and a member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Plymouth.
Survivors include sons, Dale Mitchell Evans of Suwanee, Ga. and Mark William Evans of Duluth, Ga.; grandchildren, Amber Dee Evans of Decatur, Ga., Nikki Lea Evans of Lawrenceville, Ga., Charlotte Evans of Smyrna, Ga., Mark William Evans, Jr. of Fort Rucker, Ala., Lisa and Laura Evans of Columbus, Michigan State University. He was the President/Owner of Merritex Corp. He was a member of the ATO Fraternity. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed being outdoors. He loved to travel all over the world. One of his passions was to study genealogy, including his own. He was a true history expert and enjoyed sharing his interests.
Survivors include children, Gerrit Vyn of Birmingham, Meredith (Steven) Guerra of Royal Oak, and Alexander Vyn of Northville; sister, Sally Savage of Calif. 91301.

Betty Jane Reithel
Services for Betty Reithel, 81, of Plymouth were held Oct. 22 at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home with the Rev. Drex Morton officiating. Burial was at Glen Eden Cemetery in Livonia.
Mrs. Reithel was born Aug. 6, 1921 in Toledo, Michigan in 1961. She received her bachelor's degree in education in 1951 from the University of Toledo. She loved music and she loved to sing (she trained professionally and sang professionally during her younger years.) She did Braille subscribing and taught Braille. She loved to cook and had an extensive cookbook collection. She travelled extensively with her husband throughout 48 states in their Airstream Trailer. They joined an Airstream Travel Club where the Reithels' met many wonderful people. They traveled in groups and had many fun times. While sitting in the passenger seat, Betty frequently had knitting in her lap. She produced a number of baby sweaters for indigent infants. They traveled for 250,000 miles and enrolled in many Elderhostels, including Alaska and Australia. She carried her school teacher decorum home, her famous and respected "black look" when her children were in trouble. She taught in Royal Oak schools for 15 years.

Lawrence Paul Pink
Services for Lawrence Pink, 89, of Westland (formerly of Belleville), were held Oct. 21 at the David C. Brown Funeral Home with the Rev. Thomas H. Cusick officiating. Burial was at Michigan Memorial Park in Flat Rock.
Mr. Pink was born Dec. 7. 1912 in Huron Township and died Oct. 17 in Westland. He graduated from Romulus High School in 1931. He owned and operated "Pinks Restaurant" on High Street in Belleville from 1950-1960. He was a painter, a wallpaper hanger, and a wonderful gardner and farmer. Mr. Pink was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Belleville, also of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Wayne, the Kiwanis Club of Belleville, and a former member of the Belleville Moose Lodge. He played baseball and loved bowling, racetracks and playing cards, especially Poker.
Mr. Pink was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice in 2002; grandson, David Eric Brooks in 1996; and brother, Walter Pink.
Survivors include daughters, Dolores Truxal of Westland, Patricia Wilson of Farmington Hills, Beverly (Donald) Brooks of Livonia, and Barbara Hayes of Marquette; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Bernice Jentzen of Livonia.
Memorial contributions may be made in the form of Masses or to Angela Hospice.

Ronnie Lee Quinn, Jr.
Services for Ronnie Quinn, 21, of Canton, were held Oct. 24 at L.J. Griffin Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Gregory of Faith Baptist Church of Dearborn Heights officiating. Burial was at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Dexter.
Mr. Quinn was born Oct. 11, 1981 in Westland and died Oct. 19 in Superior Township. He worked as a carpenter in construction.
Survivors include father, Ronnie Lee (Leanne) Quinn; mother, Kim Ann Marie (Pete) Kyryluk; grandparents, Hugh (Lois) Quinn and Leonard (Darlene) Wasczenski; step-sister, Nicole Abbott; and step-brothers, Joseph Lee and Patrick Lee Quinn.

Kodey Michael Laho
Services for Kodey Laho, 11, of Canton were held Oct. 22 at Ward Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Neil Ellison officiating. Burial was at United Memorial Gardens in Superior Township.
Kodey was born Sept. 21, 1991 in Livonia and died Oct. 17 at Mott Children's Hospital. Kodey was an adoring brother to his two younger sisters, Alisha and Hannah. along with his loving parents, Jeffrey and Stacey, he has attended Ward Presbyterian Church in Northville for eight years. He was an Honor Roll student at Plymouth christian Academy in Canton. In addition to his studies, he was an enthusiastic athlele, and played hockey, baseball and soccer. He was a devoted Reg Wings fan. He also loved to play the trumpet and was a voracious reader. He had a zeal for the Lord and for life.
Kodey was preceded in death by his grandmother, Arlene Fogle.
Survivors include parents, Jeffrey D. (Stacey) Laho of Canton; sisters, Alish and Hannah Laho of Canton; grandparents, Jim (Noreen) Laho of Houghton; grandfather, Michael Fogle; many cousins, aunts and uncles.

Services for Margaret Resignalo, 90, of Plymouth, were held Oct. 19 at Vermeulen Funeral Home with the Rev. Leonard Partensky officiating. Burial was at Mt. Hope Memorial Gardens in Livonia.
Mrs. Resignalo was born Oct. 12, 1912 in Pittsburgh, Pa. and died Oct. 16 in Livonia. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Resignalo was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Resignalo.
Survivors include daughters, Janet (Robert) Bierwirth of Trenton and Barbara F. (Denny) Timmerman of Waterford; grandson, Lenny (Leith) Bierwirth; granddaughter, Lisa Bierwirth; grandson, Jeffrey (Laurie) Lea; granddaughter, Gina (Jeff) Schoolcraft; and six great-grandchildren.

Rans Merlin Vess
Services for Rans Vess, 86, of Westland were held Oct. 23 at L.J. Griffin Funeral Home in Canton with the Rev. Rockey Barra of Tri-City Christian Center officiating. Burial was at Knollwood Cemetery in Canton.
Mr. Vess was born Sept. 15, 1916 in Old Fort, N.C. and died Oct. 20 at Oakwood Hospital. He was a department supervisor for an automotive company.
Mr. Vess was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie; son, Boyd Merlin Vess; and grandson, Justin Teague.
Survivors include daughters, Linda Wiley and Brenda (Richard) Teague; brother, Jimmy (Dicie) Vess; grandchildren, Rebecca (Greg) Stewart, Christopher (Mary) Wiley, Aaron (Julie) Teague, and Alicia Belcarz.
