RAYMOND E. HILLSTROM
Raymond Elving Hillstrom, 75, of Willmar, died Sunday, September 17, 2006 at Rice Memorial Hospital, following a short battle with cancer.
Services were held Friday, September 22, 2006 at the Willmar Evangelical Free Church. Burial was in the Cloverleaf Cemetery.
Raymond was born May 16, 1931, in Minneapolis to Paul and Emma (Ramsey) Hillstrom. The family moved to Sturgeon Lake when he was an infant. He attended Church Hill School and graduated from Willow River High School in 1948. He received a bachelor's degree from the University of Thompson on June 22, 1957, in Moose Lake. They moved to Willmar in 1958. He taught agriculture and shop at Willmar Senior High School for 35 years. He retired in 1993.
He was a member of Willmar Evangelical Free Church, where he served as chairman, secretary, treasurer, taught Sunday School and served on the board of elders. He was also active with Sowers. He was a member of the Willmar Car Club, Central Washington Ave, Cloquet. The visitation will continue on Friday, January 20, 2006 from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am Mass of Christian Burial in Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 102 4th Street, Cloquet. Interment in New Holy Family Cemetery.
Arrangement with Handevidt Funeral & Cremation Service, Cloquet 218-879-4636.

ROBERT W. REDFIELD
Robert Warren Redfield, 83, of Cloquet, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2006 at the Sunnyside Health Care Center in Cloquet, surrounded by his family.
He was born August 18, 1943 in Cloquet to Frank "Tim" and Frances J. (Underhill) Redfield and graduated from Cloquet High School in 1941.
Bob also graduated from UMD in 1950, and from the U.S. Army Command and general Staff College at Fr. Leavenworth, Kansas in 1963. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in January of 1942, was commissioned 2nd Lt. and Pilot in June of 1943; and served in the Central and Western pacific in 1944-45. In Saipan and Okinawa, he flew P-38 and P-47 aircraft with one Japanese aerial victory and was called to Federal duty in Feb. 1951 and retired as a Lt. Col. in the USAF in August 1973. Bob also served in North Thailand (Udorn) in 1969-1970 during the Vietnam Conflict. He was decorated with many awards including a Bronze Star and four air medals; and he was a charter member of the California, Kansas, Maryland, Thailand, Germany and Minnesota Trapshooting Hall of Fame in 1995.
Preceding him in death are his parents, and his wife Mandy. He is survived by his children, Robert Warren Redfield, May Fay (Tom) Ultican, Frank John (Michelle) Redfield, and Anne Redfield; and son from his first marriage, Tom (Margie) Johnson; six grandchildren, Jeremy Cullen, Timothy and Thomas Groslie, Jo, Jessica and Peter Redfield and one great granddaughter, Liliana Groslie.
Services were held Thursday, Oct. 12, 2006 at Nelson Funeral Care in Cloquet.

EDWARD L. SHANK
Edward L. Shank, 53, of Barnum, died October 3, 2006 in St. Mary's Hospital, Duluth. He was born October 26, 1952 in Marshall Town, South Carolina; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, October 8, 2006 at 2:00 PM in Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Kettle River. Reverend Paul Reiff officiated. Music was provided by Helen Holm and Mary Rose Varo. Casket Bearers were Paula Anderson, Lynn Moore, Rebecca Butts, Julie Montana, Karen Houle, Catherine Torntore, Heidi Manni, Michelle Manni, and Coral Maldonadeo. Burial was in West Branch Cemetery, Kalevala Twp. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. Arrangements by Hamlin-Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home, Moose Lake.

IRMA J. DALLMANN
Irma J. Dallmann, 57, of Moose Lake, unexpectedly passed away at St. Luke's Hospital on October 4, 2006. Irma was born in Duluth on March 10, 1949 to Owen and Reva (Cairns) Farmer.
Irma graduated from Denfeld High School Suma Cum Laude in 1967. On July 19, 1969 she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Harold Dallmann. Always busy, Irma took great joy in raising her children as well as several foster children. She was a devoted member of East Duluth Church of Christ. She had a great love for the outdoors, a zest for life and exploration. One of her favorite pastimes was being a biker chick with her husband, logging thousands of miles through the countryside. Her heart, wealth with love, lent itself to those less fortunate through kindness, and hospitality. She will be remembered as an exceedingly kind and patient wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She leaves behind a legacy of humility and graciousness as she goes forward to live with her Savior and Lord.
She was preceded in death by her parents and stepbrother Bob.
Irma's memory will live on through her husband of 37 years, Harold, sons Glenn (Heidi Jaekel) of Superior, Waino (Sara Struckman) of Watertown SD; daughter Joanna Dallmann of Moose Lake; her grandchildren Elias, Samuel, Elliot, Piper, and Jaydon who all lovingly knew her as "grammy"; sisters Verla, Mary, and Della; step-brother Pat, step-sister Jan, several nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to their wonderful church family, coworkers, friends and the excellent staff at St. Luke's and Lakeshore Lutheran.
Funeral service were held at 2 pm on Saturday, October 7, 2006 in the First Memorial Funeral Chapel, 4100 Grand Ave. with Minister Danny Jaekel officiated. Visitation will be one hour prior.
Service entrusted to the First Memorial Funeral Chapel, 624-5050.
