Lillie Pauline Arnold Horn, age 88, of Carrollton, Missouri passed away Sunday, June 2, 2002, at Carroll County Memorial Hospital, Carrollton, Missouri.
She was born July 9, 1913 in Drummonds, Tennessee, the daughter of Joseph Pinkney and Lulia Winnifred Gilpin Hurt. Lillie was a member of the United Pentecostal Church of Carrollton. She was the "Greatest Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother."
She was married to William Arnold in 1928. He preceded her in death in 1972. She then married Carl Horn in 1975. He preceded her in death in 1997.
Survivors include five sons, Ed Arnold, Stover, Missouri, Joe Arnold, Bogard, Missouri, Bobby Arnold, Blue Springs, Missouri, Darrell Arnold, Braymer, Missouri, Larry Arnold, Fort Worth, Texas; one daughter, Marcine Sample, Tina, Missouri; one brother, Alvin Hurt, Memphis, Tennessee; one sister, Gladys Deal, Dewar, Oklahoma; sixteen grandchildren; thirty-three great- grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and five brothers; Charlie, George, Bill, Jesse and Leslie Hurt.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 4, 2002 at the Calvary Lighthouse United Pentecostal Church, Carrollton, Missouri, with Reverend Benny Whitehead officiating. Burial will be in Fairport Cemetery, Fairport, Missouri.
Visitation will be from 9:30 until service time Tuesday.

Marien M. Peetoom, age 81, of Norborne, Missouri, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2002 at Carroll County Memorial Hospital, Carrollton, Missouri.
She was born March 15, 1921 in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of Hugo and Marion Greer Manstream. She attended schools in Greenwich, Connecticut. She was a Mother and Wife.
She married Earl (Shorty) Peetoom on August 6, 1943 in Elkton, Maryland. He survives at the home.
Other survivors include two sons, Herbert Peetoom, Tina, Missouri, Robert Peetoom, Norborne, Missouri; one daughter, Patricia Hawkins, Carrollton, Missouri; eight grandchildren; and twenty- one great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and seventeen brothers and sisters.
Funeral services were conducted at 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, June 5, 2002 at Gibson Funeral Home, Norborne, Missouri with Reverend M. R. Hamilton officiating. Burial was in Carroll Memory Gardens, Carrollton, Missouri.

Henry Jackson Bellamy III, age 33, of Norborne, Missouri, passed away Friday, June 7, 2002 near Norborne, Missouri.
He was born June 19, 1968 in Carrollton, Missouri, the son of Henry Jackson Bellamy, II and Betty Lou Harmon. He attended Norborne, Missouri schools. He was a Veteran, having served with the Army National Guard. He was employed with United Hog Farm, Waverly, Missouri. Henry was a member of the First Baptist Church of Norborne.
Survivors include his mother, Betty, of Norborne, Missouri; grandmother, Grace Wright, Carrollton, Missouri; six brothers and sisters; Jennie Bellamy and fianc�, Paul Boatman, Norborne, Missouri, Venita Wellman and husband, Todd, Bogard, Missouri, Randy Bellamy and fianc�, Valeta McDaniels, Waverly, Missouri, Jack Allen Bellamy, Climax Springs, Missouri, Joshua Henry Bellamy, Climax Springs, Missouri, Tammy Jo Patton and husband, David, Climax Springs, Missouri; six stepbrothers and stepsisters, Dale Walker and wife, Sue, Norborne, Missouri, Michael Walker and wife, Patsy, DeWitt, Missouri, James Austin, Climax Springs, Missouri, Rusty Austin, Independence, Missouri, Tennie Matney, State of Oklahoma; and Melissa Brown, Climax Springs, Missouri; an adopted brother, Tazz Hurst and family; one daughter, Kristen Marie Bellamy, Waverly, Missouri; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Jackson Bellamy, II; stepfather, Ernest Walker, stepmother, Mary Edith Bellamy; and his grandparents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 13, 2002 at the First Baptist Church, Norborne, Missouri with Reverend M. R. Hamilton and Reverend Lyle Watkins officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Carrollton, Missouri.
Visitation will be from 1:00 until service time, Thursday.

Clarissa Mae Simpson, age 42, passed away Friday, June 14, 2002 at Truman Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 19, 2002 at the Gibson Funeral Home, Brunswick, Missouri at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Brunswick City Cemetery.

Harold E. Finley, of Centralia, Missouri passed away Friday, June 14, 2002 at Boone Hospital Center, Columbia, Missouri.
He was born June 13, 1909 in Elmer, Missouri the son of William Bishop and Ella Leta Enslen Finley, grandson of Henry and Elizabeth Long Enslen and Dr. Thomas A. and Susanna Leeper Finley of Wellsville, Missouri. He attended the Elmer and Bosworth schools and received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Missouri Valley College in Marshall, Missouri in 1932.
February 10, 1940, he married Anna Kathryn Pollack at Wentworth Military Academy in Lexington, Missouri. He was a member of the Baptist Church in Bosworth and Carrollton, Missouri for 81 years and secretary of the Junior Department at the Church in Carrollton. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Bosworth and Carrollton. He was presented a 70 year pin May 21, 2002 by members of the Masonic Lodge #59 of Centralia. Harold was a linotype operator for the Bosworth Sentinel and Carrollton Daily and Weekly Democrat for 39 years and Cooperative Weather Observer for the U. S. Weather Bureau for 49 years, receiving the strategic John Campanius Holm award in 1984. He was a licensed ham radio operator for many years, a scoutmaster in Bosworth, cubmaster in Carrollton, merit badge counselor and a Fellow of the National Genealogy Society in Chicago, now in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was a volunteer for the Senior Center's Meals on Wheels program, taking orders for the service for 12 years before leaving Carrollton for Centralia, Missouri in 1995.
He is survived by his wife, a daughter, Carol and her husband, Gary Hurt of Columbia, Missouri; two granddaughters, Ginny and her husband, David Zoellers, Centralia, Missouri, Michele Limas, Ballwin, Missouri and Steven Heuer, Ballwin, Missouri; a grandson, Scott Martin Dickinson; and great-grandchildren Ian and Drew Zoellers, Chesney Limas and Malana Bradford.
He was preceded in death by his son, William Dell-Alln Finley and his parents.
Graveside services for friends and family were held at Carroll Memory Gardens in Carrollton, Missouri June 17, 2002 at 2:00 P.M., conducted by Reverend Jim Dace and bagpiper Chuck Rhoads.Masonic services were held prior to the graveside service. Visitation was from 1:00 to 1:45.

Marjorie E. Kelly, age 90, of Hannibal, Missouri, and formerly of Carroll County, Missouri, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2002, at the Indian Hills Retirement Home, Chillicothe, Missouri.
Marjorie was born November 20, 1911 in Nodaway County, Missouri; the daughter of Grover Cleveland and Susan Leech Dinsmore.
She graduated from Maysville High School.
Marjorie was married to Laurence L. Kelly on September 13, 1931 in DeKalb County, Missouri;he preceded her in death on January 6, 1983.
She was a member of the Fifth Street Baptist Church where she attended the Bethany Sunday School Class, the H.R.H. Auxiliary, and the R.S.V.P. Club.
Mrs. Kelly and her late husband were House Parents at the Hannibal-LaGrange Dorms from 1963-1971.
Suvivors include two sons James L. Kelly and wife Ella Mae of Hamilton, Missouri; John V. Kelly and wife Linda of Ellington, Missouri; one daughter, Mary Sue Kepley and husband Phillip of Salisbury, North Carolina; two brothers, John Dinsmore of Meadville, Missouri; Lloyd Dinsmore of Tulsa,Oklahoma; two sisters, Mrs. Clara Sample of St. Joseph, Missouri; Mrs. Mary Coffey of Denver, Colorado; Six Grandchildren; Fourteen Great Grandchildren; and Four Great Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, two sisters, Charlotte Canning and Gwendolyn Reeder, one brother, Paul Dinsmore and one daughter in infancy Jo Ann.
Funeral services will be 10 A.M. Wednesday, June 19, 2002 at the Gibson Funeral Home, Carrollton, Missouri; Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 P.M. Tuesday at the Gibson Funeral Home in Carrollton, Missouri.
Burial in Van Horn Cemetery North of Carrollton.

Albert William Hilbrenner, age 80, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2002 at Research Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri.
He was born July 22, 1921 in Blackburn, Missouri, the son of Adolf and Stella Lottman Hilbrenner. He attended Hazel Hill School and Waverly High School. He was a World War II Army Veteran. Bud was a Standard Oil Agent and owned Central Fuels, Inc. in Carrollton for over thirty-five years. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Carrollton, Carrollton Recreation Lake and Alcoholics Anonymous.
On January 22, 1956 he married Wanda Elaine Haselroth at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Carrollton, Missouri. She survives at the home.
Other survivors include two sons, Mitch Hilbrenner, Carrollton, Missouri, Darren Hilbrenner and wife Jo, Bates City, Missouri; one daughter, Sharon Cole and husband Jedd, Blue Springs, Missouri; two brothers, A. J. Hilbrenner and wife Francis Ann, Waverly, Missouri, Warren Hilbrenner and wife Nola, Sweet Springs, Missouri; and eleven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Delmont Hilbrenner.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 25, 2002 at Gibson Funeral Home, Carrollton, Missouri, with Reverend Sandra Crater officiating. Burial will be in Carroll Memory Gardens, Carrollton, Missouri.
Visitation will be from 10:30 until service time, Tuesday.

Nellie M. Brand, age 89, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2002 at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital Extended Care.
She was born December 15, 1912 in Marshall, Missouri the daughter of Walter P. and Anna M. Harland Farmer. She married Daniel A. Brand on May 2, 1936 in Marshall, Missouri. He preceded her in death. She was employed by the Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for twenty-seven years and later worked as the receptionist for Dr. John Platz. She was an active member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, the Carrollton Woman's Club and the First Baptist Church. She was an avid antique collector.
Survivors include her daughter, Alice Brand Bartlett, and her nephews, Gene Thomas and Robert Johnston.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, June 25, 2002 at the Gibson Funeral Home, Carrollton. A graveside service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 26, 2002 at Oak Hill Cemetery, Carrollton, Missouri, with Reverend Jeff Maxwell officiating.
The family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society, Carrollton Chapter or the Carrollton Public Library Building Fund.

Mary Vonciell (Bonnie) Nichols, age 89, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2002 at Carroll County Memorial Hospital Extended Care.
She was born November 9, 1912 in Marceline, Missouri, the daughter of Walter and Beulah Morrison. At the age of seven she moved to Carrollton with her parents, where she lived most of her life. She graduated from Carrollton High School and Missouri Valley College. She taught school many years at St. Mary's Catholic School and the Carrollton Public Schools. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Carrollton, Missouri, Woman's Club and the Carrollton Country Club.
Bonnie married Charles Lee Nichols of Norborne, Missouri in 1940 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on October 22, 1980.
Survivors include one son, Michael Nichols and wife Becky, Kansas City, Missouri; two sisters- in-law, Marigene Suellen Trop, Lenexa, Kansas, Margaret Shoop, Mission, Kansas; one grandson, Colin; one step-granddaughter, Kristen; three nieces, one nephew and several cousins.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
Funeral mass will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 26, 2002 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Carrollton, Missouri, with Reverend Ken Criqui officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Carrollton, Missouri.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, June 25, 2002 at Gibson Funeral Home, Carrollton, Missouri. Rosary at 8:00.

Gerald Wayne Conner, of Carrollton, Missouri, age 58, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2002 at University Hospital, Columbia, Missouri.
He was born February 5, 1944 in Carrollton, Missouri, the son of Virgil and Cleota Little Conner. He graduated from Carrollton High School. He was a United States Army Veteran, having served during the Vietnam War. He was employed by Donaldson Company Inc. in Chillicothe, Missouri for twenty-eight years.
Survivors include one daughter, Keonna Conner of the home, one step-daughter, Melody Marquess; one brother, John William Conner, Sr. and his wife, Lois, Carrollton, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Donnie; one sister, Jane Henderson; and one brother-in-law, Bobby Henderson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 29, 2002 at Gibson Funeral Home, Carrollton, Missouri, with Reverend Bert Hughes officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Carrollton, Missouri, with a Military Service by Pence-Lovell-England Veteran's of Foreign Wars Post #1773.
Visitation will be from 7-8:30 p.m., Friday, June 28, 2002 at Gibson Funeral Home, Carrollton, Missouri.
