Ruth Cartee Whitley Cox, age 92, of Brunswick, Missouri, passed away Saturday, November 1, 2003 at the Brunswick Nursing Home. She was born on September 5, 1911 in Laclede, Missouri until she moved to Brunswick in 1972 after her retirement from Banquet Foods at Marshall, Missouri; one son, Lester L. W. Cartee of Louisiana; one sister, Anna Bedwell, Brunswick, Missouri on Wednesday, November 5, 2003 at 1:30 p.m., with Reverend Kenneth Tounzen officiating. Burial will be in Miami Cemetery, Miami, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2003 at Carroll County Memorial Hospital, Carrollton, Missouri, the daughter of Dayton and Jane Colter Long. She attended country schools near Tina, Missouri.
Edna is survived by one son; Roger Fones, Bogard, Arizona; two sisters, Eva Lee Baker, Tina, Missouri; one grandchild, Robin; and one great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Merle Hooten; and three brothers, Eddie, Kenny and Marvin.
Cremation with private family services will be held at a later date.
Arrangements were made by Gibson Funeral Homes, Carrollton, Missouri, and formerly of Tina, Missouri.
Donald was born March 25, 1927 in Norborne, Missouri. She survives at the home. He was a farmer and a member of the First Baptist Church, Carrollton, Missouri; one brother, Kenneth Eschenbach, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; four grandchildren, Holly, Heather, Stephen and Brandon Eschenbach, Tina, Missouri with Reverend Jeff Maxwell officiating. Burial will be in Van Horn Cemetery, Bogard, Missouri Baptist Home or H.E.L.P. Services Cancer Fund in memory of Mr. Eschenbach. They may be left at or mailed to Gibson Funeral Home, 201 S. Main, Carrollton MO 64633.

Clifton Edward Scott, age 83, formerly of Chillicothe, Missouri.
He was born February 16, 1920 in Meadville, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Don Scott, State of Nevada.
Cremation arrangements were made by Gibson Funeral Homes, Carrollton, Missouri passed away Thursday, November 6, 2003 at his home in rural Triplett. he was born April 3, 1942 in Brunswick, Missouri and a grandson, PFC Benjamin Miller of Fort Leonard Wood. Also surviving are a brother and sister-in-law, Howard and Pat Johnson, Sumner, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Chariton County Communities Foundation, Northwestern Schools.

Harold Dean Dambacher, age 71, of Carrollton, Missouri area and Utica and Tina, Missouri; two sisters, Marie Corle, Richmond, Missouri with Brother Harold Martin officiating. Burial will be in Hale Cemetery, Hale, Missouri on March 5, 1906 to Charles Daniel and Fannie Brock Miller. She attended Prairie Flower Grade School near her home.
On January 19, 1927, she married Otto Sebastian. He died on August 11, 1947. To this marriage four children were born, Virginia, Gerald, Shirley and Charles.
On July 20, 1950, Ruth married Robert C. Warren. He died on December 28, 1982.
Ruth worked at Stanford Laundry, Nances Cafe and Smith's Cleaners. In 1960 Ruth and Robert moved to Warsaw, Missouri where they operated a refinishing shop until Mr. Warren's death. Ruth moved to Carrollton in March of 1983 to Valley View Apartments where she lived for twenty years. She continued to do all her work until two and one half months ago. As a teenager, she joined the Bethany Church of The Brethren where she still attended as long as she could drive. She enjoyed having all of their grandchildren and nieces and nephews coming to stay with them. One of their summer joys was having all the grandkids and nieces and nephews come for visits to fish with them. Three things she wanted to do were to fly in a big plane, visit her father's birthplace in Virginia and go to Canada. She accomplished all three.
Ruth is survived by one brother, Azzle Miller, Chillicothe, Missouri; two daughters, Virginia Davis and husband, Van, Sedalia, Missouri; one step daughter, Dorothy Jean Knott, Carrollton, Missouri, with Reverend Jason Frazier and Reverend Bruce Trussell officiating. Burial will be in Van Horn Cemetery, Tina, Missouri from 1:00-7:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 12, 2003.
The family suggests contributions be made to the Church of The Brethren in memory of Mrs. Warren. They may be left at or mailed to Gibson Funeral Home, 201 S. Main, Carrollton MO 64633.

Minnie Elizabeth Maycock, age 69, of Waverly, Missouri.
She was born May 30, 1934 in Waverly, Missouri. He survives at the home. Minnie was a house wife and mother and a member of the Waverly Christian Church and Waverly Breakfast Club.
She is also survived by two sons, John Maycock, Waverly, Missouri; two daughters, Mary Brayman, Marshall, Missouri; two grandsons; and two step granddaughters.
Minnie was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, two sisters and one step granddaughter.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 14, 2003 at the Waverly Christian Church, Waverly, Missouri.
Visitation will be from 7-8:30 p.m., Thursday, November 13, 2003 at Gibson Funeral Home, Waverly, Missouri, the son of Sylvester and Anna Katherine Brenizer Dilley. .
On November 25, 1936, he married Ruth Opal Bachtel in Gallatin, Missouri. She preceded him in death April 17, 1995.
Mr. Dilley attended country schools and graduated from DeWitt High School. He was a life-long farmer. Mr. Dilley was a member of the former Bosworth United Methodist Church, where he served as Sunday school superintendent for several years and was a trustee of the church. He attended the Bosworth Christian Church.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Larry S. and Sue Dilley of Warrensburg and James and Dian Dilley of Bosworth; five granddaughters, Mari Beth Dilley of Warrensburg, Carla Leighow of Grain Valley, Kristy Bullock of St. James, Kerry Harris of Linn and Karolean Harris of Grain Valley; seven great-grandchildren, Jeremy and Amanda Dilley of Warrensburg, Brenton and Bailey Leighow of Grain Valley, Emily and Alyson Bullock of St. James; and Colton Harris of Linn; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Maryon B. Dilley.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 16, 2003, at the Gibson Funeral Chapel in Bosworth. Burial will be at the Wharton Cemetery, near Bosworth.
Friends may call from 1-6:00 p.m., Saturday, November 15, 2003, at the chapel in Bosworth. There is no scheduled family visitation.
The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to Wharton, or the Bosworth Christian Church.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Gibson Funeral Home in Carrollton.
