HYATT OBITUARY
Henry Clay Hyatt Jr., of Bogard, Missouri. He was 87.
Mr. Hyatt was born on February 7, 1912, in Adrian, Nevada, Missouri. From 1947 to 1975, he worked for the Sinclair Oil Co., first as a salesman and later as a district sales manager. After leaving the oil company, Mr. Hyatt farmed and worked for the U.S. Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service in Carrollton, from which he retired in 1995.
Mr. Hyatt was an active member of the Carrollton United Methodist Church and held many church offices on both the local and regional levels. He was also an active member of the Republican Party.
He is survived by three daughters, Dorothy A. Davis, of Platt Woods, Missouri; four sisters, Elsie Gould, of Lawson, California, Maurine Tucker, of Saloma Beach, Missouri, passed away Saturday, July 3, 1999, at the Lincoln Nursing Home.
Lyndall was born April 18, 1897, in DeWitt, Missouri; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Louise Bittiker, Sedalia; seven grandchildren, Jim and Cindy Bittiker, Pleasant Hill, West Virginia, Michelle and Dana Thompson, Columbia, Missouri, Mike and Joanne Koch, Waverly, Missouri; 15 great-grand- children, Chad, Derek, & Melanie Stirling, Steven and Carissa Bittiker, Daniel and Erin Eades, Matt and Kelley Thompson, Abigail Fauss, Philip, Andrew, and Cammie Koch, and Jason and Ryan Koch; one great-great-granddaughter, Lauren Brooke Bittiker, and several nieces and nephews.
Lyndall was preceded in death by two sons, James B. Bittiker, Jr. and H. G. (Gene) Bittiker; one daughter in law, Helen Moritz Bittiker, one granddaughter, Barbara Jeanne Bittiker, one brother, Stuart Owings, and one great-grandson, Jacob Koch.
Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, July 7, at the Gibson Funeral Home in Carrollton, with Reverend Ron Marsh and Reverend Lanny Lybarger officiating.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 8:00 P.M., on Tuesday evening at the Gibson funeral Home in Carrollton.
The family suggests contributions to the Lions Eye Tissue Bank or the First Baptist Church in memory of Mrs. Bittiker.
KLEOPPEL OBITUARY
Margaret H. Kleoppel, age 75, of Carrollton, Missouri. He preceded her in death on November 8, 1990.
Survivors include two brothers, John G. Lowrance, San Antonio, Missouri; a sister, Lucy Elizabeth Beard, Bogard, Missouri, died July 2, 1999, at the Carrollton Nursing Center.
He was born May 1, 1910, in Excelsior Springs, Washington Chapter, R.A.M.
On August 17, 1929, he was married to Dorothy Douglass. She preceded him in death on October 19, 1992.
Survivors include a daughter, Martha Taylor, Colorado Springs, Colorado, a son, Richard O'Dell, Houston, Missouri.
The family suggests contributions to the First Baptist Church Home Missions in memory of Mr. O'Dell.
HEINS OBITUARY
Dorris D. Heins, age 94, of Carrollton, Missouri, the daughter of Oscar and Mary Dean Nowland. She attended Liberty Grade School and graduated from Carrollton High School.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Carrollton, the Mary Martha Sunday School Class, the U.D.C. Betty Shelby Chapter of Waverly, a charter member of the Liberty Extension Club, and a life member of the Carroll County Historical Society.
On February 17, 1926, she was married to Walter Glen Heins at the home of her parents. He preceded her in death on December 23, 1991.
Survivors include two sons, Glen Paul Heins, Fort Madison, Missouri, died August 28, 1999, at his home.
He was born September 9, 1944, in Marshall, Missouri.
He was baptized in the Grand Pass Methodist Church.
On September 6, 1963, he was married to Mary Lou Hostetter in Grand Pass, Missouri, and Reverend Billy Lee Smith, Jr., Benson, Missouri; one son-in-law, Lloyd England, one sister, Joyce Ann Brown, Marshall; two half-sisters, Joan Smith and Eva Jane Womack, both of Waverly; two step-sisters, Kathy Hamblen and Rita Narron, both of Waverly; six grandchildren, Christina England, Jason England, Tommy Smith, Jr., Charles William Smith, Amber Nicole Smith, Payton Timothy Smith; one uncle and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 31, 1999, at the Waverly Baptist Church, conducted by Reverend Billy Lee Smith and Reverend Steve Mills. Burial will be in Waverly Cemetery.
The family suggests contributions to Family Choice in memory of Mr. Smith.
He was preceded in death by his father.
CUSINTZ OBITUARY
William E. Cusintz, Sr., age 62, of Carrollton, Missouri, the son of William James and Nellie Pearl James Cusintz. He attended school in Kansas City, Kansas.
He had worked as a truck driver and also a meat cutter for Sambol Packing Company in Kansas City, Kansas, for a number of years.
On September 15, 1953, he was married to Erma Louise in Atchison, Kansas. She survives at the home.
Other survivors include one son, William Earl Cusintz, Jr., Carrolllton; a daughter, Paula Jean Morrison, Shawnee, Kansas; two sisters, Betty Dahlin and Shirley Bowers, both of Shawnee, Kansas; two grandchildren, Lacey and Bryan Morrison; and his father and step-mother, of Neosho Rapids, Kansas..
He was preceded in death by his mother and one brother, Lonnie James Cusintz.
Cremation. Graveside memorial services will be conducted by Reverend Bert Hughes at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, August 21, 1999, at the Evergreen Cemetery, DeWitt, Missouri, resident, Felicite Marie Beckman, age 101, died August 18, 1999, at the Trinity Lutheran Hospital in Kansas City, Illinois, the daughter of Theodore J. and Julia Matilda Germann Ricksher. She attended schools and graduated from Naperville High School. She worked as a secretary for a railroad for a short time.
She was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Carrollton and Guardian Angel Catholic Church, Kansas City, the Altar Society at each church, Foresters, Keenagers, and had served as a volunteer at Carroll County Memorial Hospital.
On May 25, 1920, she was married to Francis Herbert Beckman in Naperville. He preceded her in death on April 9, 1968.
Survivors include two daughters, Doris Beckman Thompson, Kansas City, and Mary Joan Beckman, Oshkosh, Wisconsin; nine grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, John (Jack) Beckman and Robert in infancy.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M., Friday, August 20, 1999, at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Carrollton. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Carrollton.
Visitation will be from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M., with the Rosary at 8:00 P.M., Thursday, at the Gibson Funeral Home, Carrollton.
The family suggests contributions to the St. Mary's Cemetery or the Guardian Angel Parrish in memory of Mrs. Beckman.
EISERER OBITUARY
Alberta Louise Eiserer, age 81, of Carrollton, Missouri.
She was born March 13, 1918, in Carroll County, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers; and two brothers and one sister in infancy.
Funeral services will be 1:30 P.M., Saturday, August 14, 1999, at the Gibson Funeral Home in Carrollton, conducted by Reverend Joe Barone. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Carrollton.
There will be no set visitation; the body will lie in state after 2:00 P.M., Friday, at the Gibson Funeral Home.
The family suggests contributions to the Carrollton Christian Church or the Garden Plus Club Flower Garden Fund in memory of Mrs. Eiserer.
OBITUARY
Garnet M. Musser, age 94, of Carrollton, Missouri, the daughter of James and Christine Colstadt Billups. She attended Granger School and graduated from high school in 1923.
She moved to the Bosworth/Bogard area of Carroll County, Missouri.
The family suggests contributions to the Carrollton Nursing Center in memory of Mrs. Musser. They may be left at or mailed to the Gibson Funeral Home, Carrollton.
