Ruby Loveless

Ruby Lenora Loveless, 69, of Rector, Ark., died Monday, May 5, 2003, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, Ark.

Born Jan. 27, 1934, in Senath, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Odie Franklin and Lena Edwards.

She married William Loveless, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Elmer Edwards.

Survivors include five sons, Phillip and Larry Battles, both of Highlands, Texas, Ronnie Battles, of Fairview Heights, Ill., Mike Mozingo, of Rector and Lynn Loveless, of Brownsmill, N.J.; two daughters, Donna Tingle, of Sulfer, La. and Ellen Schlotterbeck, of LaGrange, Texas; one sister, Frances Parker, of St. Louis, Mo.; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Thursday, May 8, at the Mitchell Funeral Home in Rector.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 8, at the Woodland Heights cemetery in Rector with Phillip Larue officiating.

Roger Leveillee

Rev. Roger L. Leveillee, 53, died Tuesday, May 6, 2003.

Born March 30, 1950, in Providence, R.I., son of the late Donald O. and Estelle Larocque Leveillee, he was ordained for the Diocese of Springfield-Cape Girardeau. His pastorates include At. Ann's Parish in Malden, Mo., St. Eustachius Parish in Portageville, Mo. and St. Cecilia Parish in Kennett.

Survivors include three brothers, Ronald and David Leveillee, both of Coventry, R.I. and Rene Leveillee, of West Warwick, R.I. and two sisters, Denise Plante and Elaine Harrison, both of West Warwick.

Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 8, at St. Canera Church in Neosha, Mo., followed by a prayer service at 7 p.m.

The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 9, by Bishop John J. Leibrecht, at St. Agnes Cathedral in Springfield, Mo.

Burial will follow at a later date in the St. Jospeh cemetery at West Warwick.

Memorials may be made in memory of Fr. Leveillee to St. Canera Parish for a Memorial Bell, c/o Clark Funeral Home, P.O. Box 66, Neosha, Mo. 64850.

Clark Funeral Home in Neosha is in charge of arrangements.

Betty McNair

Betty L. McNair, 71, of Bloomfield, Mo., formerly of Kennett and Charleston, Mo., died Monday, May 5, 2003, at her residence.

Born Oct. 28, 1931, in Huron, Tenn., daughter of the late Cloud and Mary Beecham Fesmire, she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Senath and was manager of the Mitchell Drug and Gift Shop in Kennett. Upon moving to Bloomfield, she became a member of the Bloomfield Baptist Church.

On Sept. 2, 1947, she married Sidney Burl McNair, who survives of the home.

Survivors also include one son, Sidney Michael McNair, of Knoxville, Tenn.; one daughter, Judy Gail Denton, of Dallas, Texas; one brother, Jim Ervin, of Huntley, Tenn.; two sisters, Connie Shanks, of Bloomfield and Carolyn Price, of Brookfield, Ill.; five grandchildren, Kris Taylor, of St. Louis, Mo., Natalie and Kellie McNair, both of Knoxville, Edward Denton, of St. Louis and Joshua Denton, of Dallas and one great-grandson, Krew Taylor, of St. Louis.

Visitation will begin after 5 p.m. today, May 6, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 8, at the McMikle Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gerald Collier officiating.

Burial will follow at the I.O.O. F. cemetery.

Pallbearers are Bill Owens, Joe Rampley, John Shanks, Tony Burdine and Edward and Joshua Denton.

J.T. Morgan

J.T. Morgan, 74, of Campbell, Mo., died Saturday, May 3, 2003, at Three Rivers Healthcare South in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

Born July 29, 1928, in White Oak, Mo., son of the late Thomas Jeferson and Ida Myrtle Gray Morgan, he was co-owner of Morgan Muffler Shop in Campbell and a member of the New Hope General Baptist Church in Holcomb, Mo.

On Dec. 18, 1948, in Piggott, Ark., he married Bertha Weiladean Ligons, who survives of the home.

Survivors also include five sons, Loyd Morgan and wife, Lela and Gary Morgan and wife, Donna, all of South Haven, Mich., Jim Morgan and wife, Teresa, of Springfield, Mo. and Wesley Morgan and wife, Linda and Leon Morgan, all of Campbell; four daughters, Daronda McMillen and husband, Ray, of Valier, Ill., LaWanda Cunningham and husband, Pat, of Malden, Mo., Deborah Hampton and husband, Kenneth, of Gideon, Mo. and Karen Dover and husband, Paul, of Campbell; three brothers, Thomas Morgan, of Naylor, Mo. and James and Paul Morgan, both of Wappapello, Mo.; five sisters, Louise Frazier and Irene Baxter, both of Wappapello, Susan Gallamore, DeSoto, Mo., Alice Twitchell, of New Franklin, Mo. and Margaret Brawley, of Van Bauren, Mo.; 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Odis Morgan and one sister, Betty Morgan.

Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 8, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 9, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Earl Dell and David McElwain officiating.

Burial will follow at the Stanfield cemetery in Clarkton, Mo.

James Queen

James Elmer Queen, 52, of Manila, Ark., died Monday, May 5, 2003, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.

Born Aug. 18, 1950, in Campbell, Mo., son of he late Charlie and Mollie Crystal Payne Queen, he was a farm laborer and of the Church of Christ faith.

Survivors include four brothers, Zelmer, Charles, Jerry and Clinton Queen and three sisters, Emmalou Springer, of Monette, Ark., Sharon Kay Queen, of Poplar Bluff, Mo. and Patricia DePriest, of Fredricktown, Mo.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Terry and Dennis Queen. Vivitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday, May 8, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Kennett.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 8, at the Gregory cemetery in Kennett.

Wanda Telker

Wanda L. Telker, 90, of Lake Saint Louis, Mo.,, formerly of Malden, Mo., died Sunday, May 4, 2003, at St. Peters Manor Care Center in St. Peters, Mo.

Born Feb. 25, 1913, in Marion, Ill., daughter of the late F.O. and Flora King Lockaby, she was a homemaker and a member of the United Methodist Church in Malden. She was a member of the Methodist Quilters, United Methodist Women's Club and past president of the Malden Culture Club.

She married F.P. Telker, who preceded her in death on Sept. 11, 1980. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne and Oscar Lockaby.

Survivors include two sons, Paul Telker and wife, Barbara, of Lake Saint Louis and David Telker and wife, Sharon, of Malden; six grandchildren, Robert, Roger and Ryan Telker and Renee Wulf, all of St. Louis, Mo., Brian Telker, of Jonesboro, Ark. and Jennifer Mobley, of Lenexa, Kan. and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Friday, May 9, at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, May 9, at the Memorial Park cemetery in Malden with the Rev. Robert Morgan officiating.

Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church, Park and Beckwith, Malden, Mo. 63863.

Margaret Cradduck

Margaret Irma Cradduck, 70, of Kennett, died Thursday, May 8, 2003, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 12, at the Antioch cemetery in Beebe, Ark.

McDaniel Funeral Home of Kennett is in charge of arrangements.

Oliver Denny

Oliver J. Denny, 80, of Bloomfield, Mo., formerly of Hayti, Mo., died Thursday, May 8, 2003, at Beverly Health Care in Bloomfield.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete with the Bradshaw-Osburn Funeral Home of Hayti.

Lawrence Gamblin

Lawrence M. "Shorty" Gamblin, 85, of Kennett, died Wednesday, May 7, 2003, at National Healthcare in Kennett.

Born Sept. 23, 1917, in Kennett, son of the late Frank and Annie B. Huffman Gamblin, he was a truck driver.

On Dec. 11, 1940, in Kennett, he married Laura Ruth Roper, who preceded him in death.

Survivors include one son, Darrell Gamblin and wife, Janis, of Kennett; two daughters, Wanda Crawford and husband, Allen "Mick" and Linda Byrd and husband, Jim, all of Kennett; three sisters, Alceba Benson, of Campbell, Mo., Louise Stanfield, of Silva, Mo. and Mildred Moore, of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held at 1 p.m. today, Friday, May 9, at the Oak Ridge cemetery in Kennett with the Rev. Eddie Roden officiating.

Bradshaw Funeral Home in Kennett was in charge of arrangements.

Ruthie Phillips

Ruthie Mae Phillips, 82, of Kennett, died Sunday, May 4, 2003, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

Born May 5, 1920, in Marion, Ark., daughter of the late Wil and Laura Laws, she was a housekeeper.

In 1939, she married B.A. Phillips, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Vera Banks and one granddaughter, Cherre Phillips.

Survivors include two sons, Robert Gene Phillips, of Little Rock, Ark. and Bobby Louis Phillips and wife, Calma J., of Kansas City, Mo.; six grandchildren, Tenisha Starks, Kevin Laws, Osler Wood, Ronald McHenry, Chakira King and Maranda Alford and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 10, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Kennett.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 10, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop W.H. Johnson officiating.

Burial will follow at the Oak Ridge cemetery in Kennett.

Thelma Wilburn

Thelma Wilburn, 92, of Senath, Mo. died Thursday, May 8, 2003, at the Senath Nursing Center.

Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, May 11, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Senath.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 11, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Troy Alley officiating.

Burial will follow at the Memorial Gardens cemetery in Kennett.

Margaret Cradduck

Margaret Irma Cradduck, 70, of Kennett, died Thursday, May 8, 2003, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

Born Oct. 11, 1932, in Knox, Ind., she was a daughter of the late Jack and Helen Yoakam Leak. She was also preceded in death by two children, Eugenia and Carl Cradduck.

Survivors include four sons, Robert Cradduck of West Palm Beach, Fla., Paul Cradduck of Paragould, Ark., David Cradduck of California and Jimmy Cradduck; two daughters, Belinda Rhoads of Palm Beach, Fla. and Debra Young of Lantana, Fla.; two sisters, Dorothy Mason of Beebe, Ark. and Leta Wilkerson of Gas City, Ind. and several grandchildren.

There will be no visitation.

Graveside services are 10 a.m. Monday, May 12, at Antioch cemetery at Beebe, with the Rev. O'Neal Hill officiating and McDaniel Funeral Home of Kennett in charge of arrangements.
