Kenneth Raines

Kenneth L. Raines, 50, of Paragould, Ark., died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2001, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today, Friday, Dec. 14, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. J.E. Crews and Dale Rickman officiating.

Burial will follow at the Memorial Gardens cemetery in Kennett.

T.J. Smith

T.J. Smith, 83, of Holcomb, Mo., died Thursday, Dec., 13, 2001 at his residence.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete with the Bradshaw Funeral Home of Malden, Mo.

Albert Wagoner

Albert Lee Wagoner, 68, of Malden, Mo., died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2001, at Barnes Hospital South in St. Louis, Mo.

Born Sept. 27, 1933, in Gideon, Mo., son of the late Raymond and Martha Bess McCoin Wagoner, he was a truck driver.

On June 28, 1952, in Piggott, Ark., he married Ruby Morrison, who survives of the home.

Survivors also include four sons, Ronnie Wagoner and wife, Brenda, Dale Wagoner and wife, Louella and James Wagoner and wife, Georgia, all of Malden and Herbert Wagoner and wife, Cheri, of Harrisonville, Mo.; two daughters, Belinda "Bindy" Grant and husband, Danny, of Malden and Donna Wagoner, of Jackson, Mo.; one brother, Gary Wagoner, of Malden; two sisters, Patsy Choat, of Festus, Mo. and Magoline Todd, of Malden; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Wagoner.

Visitation will be held at 6 p.m. today, Friday, Dec. 14, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Perry Clark officiating.

Burial will follow at the Memorial Park cemetery in Malden.

Charles Youngblood

Charles Youngblood, 67, of Clarkton, Mo., died today, Friday, Dec. 14, 2001, at his residence.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete with the Bradshaw Funeral Home of Malden, Mo.

Wit Ethridge

Wit Daniel Ethridge, 85, of Kennett, died Friday, Dec. 14, 2001, at National Health Care of Kennett.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today, Sunday, Dec. 16, at McDaniel Funeral Service Chapel in Kennett.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 17, at McDaniel Chapel with the Revs. Chuck Hardy and Allen Ethridge officiating.

Burial will be in Memorial Gardens cemetery in Kennett.

Ronnie Farrar

Ronnie Todd Farrar, 33, of Moberly, Mo., died Saturday, Dec. 15, 2001, at Moberly Regional Medical Center in Moberly.

Arrangements are incomplete with McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett.

Mary Hogeland

Mary Hogeland, 60, of Malden, died Friday, Dec. 14, 2001, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter, Mo.

Arrangements are incomplete with Bradshaw Funeral Home of Malden.

Cleo Pattillo

Cleo Pattillo, 85, of Gideon, died Friday, Dec. 15, 2001, at John J. Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.

Kenneth Raines

Kenneth L. Raines, 50, of Paragould, Ark., and formerly of the Gobler, Mo. area, died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2001, St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.

Born May 13, 1951, in Gobler, he was the son of the late R.B. Raines Sr. and Argie Nell Vernon Raines. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Linda Brice.

On Oct. 12, 1973, in Kennett, he married Jerris Nelson, of Gatewood, Mo.

Other survivors include a son, Kenneth Linn Raines II and fiancé, Bo Floyd; two daughters, Tiffany McFarland and her husband, Jimmy, of Kennett and Krystal Raines of Paragould; two brothers, Robert Raines of Kennett and R.B. Raines, Jr. of Memphis, Tenn.; one sister, Myrtie Crews of Rives, Mo. and six grandchildren, Skyler, Kyle and Aubrey McFarland and Tabitha, Ashlyn and River Raines.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, in the McDaniel Funeral Service Chapel in Kennett wit the Revs. J.E. Crews and Dale Rickman officiating.

Burial was in the Memorial Gardens cemetery in Kennett.

Pallbearers were Dennis Keith Nelson, Bobby Crews, Jacob and Dale Raines, Kevin Brice and Lanny Young.

Honorary pallbearers were Tim, Larry and Jerry Young, Robert Lewis, David and Tracey Wilkerson, Johnny 'Chico' Alsup, Wimp Mount and Rick Rikard.

Pete Small

Pete Small, 83, of Senath, died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2001, at Brazosport Memorial Hospital in Lake Jackson, Texas.

Born Aug. 20, 1918, he was the son of the late Ollie Homer and Leya Woods Small.

He married Pauline Barnett, who survives of the home.

Other survivors include a son, Tommy Small of Liberty, Texas; two daughters, Lisa Vanetta of Houston, Texas and Linda Harvill of Senath; five brothers, Kenney, Ross and Homer Small all of McAllen, Texas; Jess Small of Senath and Bill Small of Georgia; one sister, June Harris of Mississippi; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Saturday, Dec. 15, in the McDaniel Funeral Service Chapel in Senath with the Revs. Brent Pierce and Denver Glenn officiating.

Burial was in Memorial Gardens cemetery in Kennett.

Pallbearers were Jess, Bill, Byron, Joe and Chris Small and Billy Ray Harris.

Thomas Smith

Thomas James Smith, 83, of Holcomb, died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2001 at his residence.

Born July 19, 1918, in Essex, Mo., son of the late Otis and Allie Griffin Smith, he was a life member of the DAV and attended the Freewill Baptist Church in Malden. He was a veteran of the U.S. armed forces.

On July 8, 1957, in South Bend, Ind., he married Virginia Ham, who survives of the home.

Other survivors include three daughters, Amy Trowbridge and her husband, Robert, of Sodus, Mich.; Paula Fain and her husband, Jim, of Covert, Mich.; and Brenda Wagner of Stevensville, Mich.; one son, Dennis Blazier of Holcomb; 10 grandchildren, Gina Harrington of Buchanan, Mich., Sandy Hart and Scott Trowbridge of California, Lance Wagner of Stevensville, Mich., Laurie Butts of Niles, Mich., Jonathon Polk Blazier of Jonesboro, Ark., Ritchie Blazier and Tracy Blazier of Tulsa, Okla., Tara Blazier of Benton Harbor, Mich. and Bill South of Covert, Mich. and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Ocie, Barney and Billy Joe Smith and two sisters, Esther Wight and Christine Beaird.

Visitation is at 6 p.m. today, Sunday, Dec. 16, in the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Malden.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17, in the Bradshaw Chapel with the Rev. Elijah Allen officiating.

Burial, with military rites, will be in the Woodlawn, Landess Addition, cemetery in Campbell.

Charles Youngblood, Sr.

Charles Lee Youngblood, Sr., 67, of Clarkton, died Friday, Dec. 14, 2001, at his residence.

Born Oct. 17, 1934, in Helena, Ark., son of the late Ernest and May Belle Leggons Youngblood Adams, he was a truck driver and of the Baptist faith.

On July 8, 1980, in Paragould, Ark., he married Deborah Douglas, who survives of the family home.

Other survivors include two sons, Charles Youngblood, Jr. and Ernest Youngblood of Clarkton; two daughters, Deborah Lee Youngblood of Clarkton and Diane Cornett of Malden; two brothers, Clarence Wangle of Central Pointe, Ore. and Richard Adams of Missoula, Mont.; four sisters, Eber Jane Strickland, of Malden, Martha White of Kinmundy, Ill., Melba Ann Rife of Stockton, Calif and Choncheta Diaz of Coal City, Ill.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers Carl Youngblood and Larry Atkins and one sister, Shirley Weeks.

Visitation is at 6 p.m. today, Sunday, Dec. 16, in the Bradshaw Funeral Chapel in Gideon.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17, in the Bradshaw Chapel.

Burial will be in Stanfield cemetery at Clarkton.

John Emerson

John C. Emerson, 64, of Hayti, Mo., died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2001, at Hayti.

Born May 12, 1937, in Hayti, son of the late Samuel and Mildred Callahan Emerson, he worked for Mid-Continent Aircraft, Wal Mart and attended the Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Survivors include two sons, Jerry Eveland, of Deering, Mo. and Michael Emerson, of Hayti; one daughter, Susan Delgado, of Hayti; two brothers, Edward Emerson, of Hayti and Roger Emerson, of Melbourn, Fla. and six grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Raymond Redden officiating.

Burial was in the Woodlawn cemetery at Hayti.

Pallbearers were David Greer, Terry Eveland, Mike Crafton, Tim Bingham, Jerry Eveland, Jr. and Jeremy Emerson.

Ronnie Farrar

Ronnie Todd Farrar, 33, of Moberly, Mo., died Saturday, Dec. 15, 2001, at Moberly Regional Medical Center in Moberly.

Born Dec. 3, 1969, in Paragould, Ark., he was the son of the late Trudy Farrar. Survivors include his grandmother, Georgia Farrar, of Kennett; one uncle, Keith Farrar and several cousins and friends.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today, Tuesday, Dec. 18, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with the Rev. Dale Rickman officiating.

Burial was in the McGrew cemetery at Senath, Mo.

Pallbearers were Keith Farrar, Marty Cato, Tim Harris, Mike Gozell, Claudie Burns and Raymond Wade.
