LeeRoy Glen Craig
June 23, 1921-July 23, 2004
SULPHUR SPRINGS, Ark. – LeeRoy Glen Craig, age 83, died Friday, July 23, 2004, at his home on rural Rt. Sulphur Springs, Ark., near Checks Corner. He was born June 23, 1921, at Checks Corner to Walter H. and Ada Check Craig.
He lived in the Checks Corner area all of his life. LeeRoy and Launa Gould were married Feb. 6, 1943, in Pineville, Mo. He enjoyed Blue Grass music and attending the festivals. He worked as a tractor mechanic, farmer and cattleman.
LeeRoy is survived by two sons, Walter Glenn “Sonny” Craig and his wife Becky and Wesley Leroy Craig both of rural Sulphur Springs; one daughter, Gene Ada Baker and husband Gene of Decatur, Ark.; two sisters, Virginia Todd of Gravette, Ark., and Lavonne Jones of rural Southwest City, Mo.; 13 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren and 4 step-grandchildren.
A visitation took place Sunday, July 25, 2004, from 5 until 6 p.m. at the Callison-Lough Funeral Chapel in Gravette, Ark. The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 26, 2004, at the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Sulphur Springs, Ark., with the Rev. Chris Grizzle officiating.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Circle of Life Hospice, 610 East Emma Ave., Springdale, Ark.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Callison-Lough Funeral Service, 405 East Atlanta, Gravette, Ark. 72736.

Maggie Meador Parker

A retired Price of Joplin, Mo.; one daughter, Tina Fitchner of Lanagan, Mo.; three brothers, Richard Price of Price of Webb City, Mo., one sister, Thelma Singleterry of Riverside, Price as well as Aaron, Amber and Tyler Fitchner.
A memorial service for Mr. Price and wife Michelle, of Bentonville, Ark., Jonathan Rivett of Rogers, Ark., and Jason Rivett of Bentonville, Ark. Two stepbrothers, Patrick Rivett and wife, Tina of Enid, Okla. and David Rivett of Springdale, Ark. A stepsister, Melissa Nichols and husband, Richard of Pittsburg, Kan. Three aunts, Wilma Anglin and husband, Leonard of Jenks, Okla., Sherron Ellis and husband, Tucker of Pineville, Mo., and Brenda Cole of Bentonville, Ark.
Funeral services for David Scott Bertschy were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 28, 2004, in the Ozark funeral Home Chapel, of Anderson, Mo. with the Rev. Larry Jones and the Rev. Jim Haffecke officiating. Kevin Whited, Jonathan Rivett, Rick Riley, David Rivett, Jason Rivett and Shawn Thompson as honorary pallbearers. Burial was in the Pineville Cemetery in Pineville, Mo.
Visitation was Monday, Sept. 27, 2004, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Memorials are being directed to the Pineville Cemetery care fund and contributions may be left at the funeral home. Arrangements were under the personal care and direction of the Ozark Funeral Home of Anderson, Mo.

Tyler Tolliver

Tyler Harrison Tolliver, stillborn infant son of Donald Edward Tolliver, Jr., and Kendra Sue (Wommack) Tolliver, died on Saturday, Sept. 11, 2004, at 8:41 a.m.
He is survived by his parents Donald and Kendra Tolliver of Jay, Okla.; one brother, Donald Edward Tolliver, III, “Trey”; two half sisters, Gabriel Tolliver and Shelby Tolliver, both of Jay, Okla.; a maternal grandmother, Rochelle Wommack of Pineville, Mo.; a maternal grandfather, James Wommack of Reeds, Mo.; maternal great-grandmothers, Ruby Perkins of Pineville, Mo., and Juanita Wommack of Reeds, Mo.; a paternal grandmother, Barbara Parrish of Jay, Okla.; a paternal grandfather, John Hutcheson of Jay, Okla.; paternal great-grandmothers, Beatrice Lawhead of Jay, Okla., and Helen Hutcheson of Anderson, Mo.
Graveside services for Tyler Tolliver was Friday, Sept. 17, 2004, at 2 p.m. at the Peace Valley Cemetery in Anderson, Mo. The Rev. Scott Leonard officiated. Arrangements were under the direction of the Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Mo.

Ivan L. Moore
March 8, 1923-Sept. 16, 2004
Ivan L. Moore, 81, of Noel, Mo., died Thursday, Sept. 16, 2004, at his home after an illness.
Ivan Moore was born March 8, 1923, in Cleora, Okla., to the late Dorse Cleo and Myrtle Elizabeth (Risingfawn) Moore. He was of the Pentecostal faith. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was formerly a member of the VFW and the American Legion. He was a former Anderson Police Officer and McDonald County Reserve Deputy. He loved fishing.
Ivan Moore was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, James O. Moore and Billie D. Moore.
Ivan Moore is survived by his wife, Dorothy L. Moore of the home; one daughter, Veronica Franklin of Anderson, Mo., and her fiancé, Lendall Wilson of Noel, Mo.; three grandchildren, Christopher Franklin, Jacob Franklin and Garreth Wilson; one brother, Bobbie Joe Moore of Raymond, Wash.; three sisters, Goldie Mae Hatfield of Neosho, Mo., Sue Tibbs of the state of Iowa, to the late Joe Roy and Margaret Elizabeth (Gray) Williamson. She attended country school in Liberty Township Clark County, Iowa, graduating in the class of 1958. After graduation, she worked for a time in Des Moines, Iowa.
On Dec. 12, 1958, she was united in marriage to Gary Duane Sanderson. To this union three children were born, Kirk Douglas, Kory David and Kristi Diane.
After spending the next few years being a housewife and mother, she went to work as a cashier at the drive-in for Clark County State Bank where she worked for 15 yeas.
In June of 1991, Myrna and Gary sold their home in Osceola, Missouri and northwest Arkansas. She sold items to people from all over the U.S. For the past 10 years Myrna loved to collect dolls and special Barbie holiday dolls. She was a charter member of the Eagles Auxiliary at Osceola, Iowa, and Kory and wife Teresa of Lanagan, Mo.; one daughter Kristi and friend Tom Weigel of Van Wert, Iowa, and Amanda Sanderson of Durant, Iowa., Kathi and husband Gary Hainline of Leon, Iowa, Kellie and husband Terry Carlson of Pea Ridge, Ark.; and seven nieces and nephews, plus the love of her life, her four Yorkshire Terriers, Furbie, Muffin, Duley and Itty Bitty.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Jo Dee, in childhood. Her body will be cremated. The family held a service to honor her life Saturday, Sept. 18, 2004 from 2 until 4 p.m. at the Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Mo. All friends were welcome. Any memorial contributions may be made to Hospice at St. John’s Hospital in Joplin, Mo.
