Patricia Charlotte Henson
Aug. 18, 1952-Nov. 27, 2006
Patricia Charlotte Henson, 54, of Anderson, Mo., was called to heaven on Monday, Nov. 27, 2006, at her residence, Anderson Guest House, in Anderson, Mo., from injuries resulting from a fire.
Patricia was born on Aug. 18, 1952, in Anderson, Mo., the youngest of two children born to Allison A. and Pauline Ostello (Coonrod) Henson. She spent most of her life in Pineville, Mo., moving to the Anderson Guest House in 1998. Patricia enjoyed soda pop, needlepoint, coloring – her favorite pastime was drawing swans. In her younger days she had many pets including a pet squirrel. She had a very large doll collection that she cherished. Patricia was of the Baptist faith and attended the First Baptist Church in Pineville, Mo., with her parents where she accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior. The life she led was very simple, however her memory was keen when it came to names of people and all of her animals. She will be remembered by her family as always having joy in her heart and a smile on her face.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Allison A. and Pauline Ostello (Coonrod) Henson.
Survivors include a brother, Lawrence Wayne Henson and wife, Karen, of Pineville, Mo.; one nephew, Larry Henson and wife, Carla, of Pineville; two nieces, Kail Testerman of Bentonville, Ark., and Kwanna McEntire of Sand Springs, Okla.; 11 great-nephews and nieces, Zachary, Amy, Dakota, McKenzie, Olivia, Kaela, Kadi, Lamanda, Shawnra, Lawrana and Kristina; along with many other relatives, friends and neighbors who will miss Patricia and her joyful spirit.
Graveside funeral services for Patricia Charlotte Henson were held on Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2006, at 2 p.m. at the Brush Creek Cemetery in Jane, Mo. The Rev. Jamey Cope officiated.

Don Schorzman
Jan. 3, 1949-Nov. 27, 2006
Don Schorzman, 57, of Anderson, Mo., formerly of Lamar, Mo., passed away on Monday, Nov. 27, 2006. He was a victim of the house fire at the Anderson Guest House in Anderson, Mo.
Don was born Jan. 3, 1949, in St. Francis, Kan., to Raymond and Margaret (Jarrett) Schorzman. Don had worked at the Lamar Sheltered Workshop for 20 years. He was a member of First Christian Church, Lamar, Mo.
Survivors include four brothers, Alan Schorzman of Joplin, Mo., Russell Dean Barrow of Lamar, Mo., Gary Dale Barrow of Scottsburg, Ind., and Terry Barrow of Springdale, Ark.; his step-father, Russell Barrow of Lamar, Mo.; several nieces and nephews; and one great-niece. Don was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services for Don Schorzman were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2006, at the Konantz-Warden Funeral Home, Lamar, Mo. Visitation was Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the hour of service. Burial followed in Memory Gardens, Lamar, Mo. Memorial contributions may be made to the Anderson Animal Hospital in care of Konantz-Warden Funeral Home, 1301 Gulf, Lamar, Mo. 64759.

Boyd Edwin ‘Jake’ Milleson
June 2, 1930-Dec. 3, 2006
Mr. Boyd Edwin “Jake” Milleson, 76, of Pineville, Mo., was called to heaven peacefully at 4:40 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 3, 2006, at the St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Joplin, Mo., following a long illness.
Jake began his journey on June 2, 1930, in Cyclone, Mo., the youngest of five children born to the late Jake and Jessie (Cook) Milleson. He was united in marriage to Myra Nicoll on Aug. 5, 1967, in Dundee, Scotland and to this union two children were born. Jake faithfully served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and Korean Conflict retiring after 20 years of service. He later worked at American Family Homes in Anderson, Mo., for 21 years. Jake was a devoted husband, father and wonderful storyteller who loved to go fishing with family and friends. He had accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pineville, Mo.
Jake was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Virgil Milleson.
He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Myra Milleson of the home; one daughter, Heather Milleson-Garner and husband, Clay, of Joplin, Mo.; one son, Roy Milleson and wife, Carrie, of Pineville, Mo.; four grandchildren, Jake Milleson, Mollie Grace Milleson, Alexander Garner and Nicholas Garner; one brother, Warren Milleson and wife, Shirley Ann, of Pittsburg, Kan.; two sisters, Murriel Clemons of Neosho, Mo., and Lois Eberle and husband, Don, of Freeman, Mo.
Funeral service for Boyd Edwin “Jake” Milleson was held on Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2006, at 1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Pineville, Mo. The Rev. Jim Wallis and the Rev. Jamey Cope officiates. Burial followed at the Pineville Cemetery in Pineville, Mo. Jim Mieswinkle, David Groves, John Williams, John Price, Troy Henson, Bryan Walker, John Remington, Bobbie Cox, Roger Crosswhite, Arnold Landers and Frank Crosby honored Jake’s life by serving as pallbearers.
Visitation was held Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2006, from 2 until 7 p.m. at the Walker-Dowd Funeral Home in Anderson, Mo. The family received friends from 6 until 7 p.m.
Memorial contributions in loving memory of Jake may be given to the First Baptist Church of Pineville Building Fund in care of the funeral home.

Bryan Shane Rudnick
Sept. 25, 1973-Nov. 27, 2006
Bryan Shane Rudnick, son of Jan Taylor and Barry Rudnick, was born on Sept. 25, 1973, in Tucson, Ariz. He departed this life suddenly on Monday, Nov. 27, 2006, at his home in the Anderson Guest House in Anderson, Mo., due to a structural fire at the age of 33.
Bryan resided in the sate of Colo.; a brother, Jack of Mitchell, Ind.; a daughter, Brenda Bronaugh and husband, Mike, a son, Ron and wife, Jean, a son Steve and wife, Sheila, all of Grove; a son, Richard and wife, Cindy, of Afton, Okla.; grandchildren, step grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He lived for his family, pets, and enjoyed taking care of his cattle. He was very involved and dedicated in the local city government. The police department, fire department, municipal services authority, EMS district, airport and American Legion Baseball were the center of his daily activities for many years.
Services were Tuesday, Nov. 28, at 2 p.m. at the First Christian Church in Grove with the Rev. Wayne Shaw officiating. Visitation was Monday, Nov. 27, from 7 until 8 p.m. at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove. Pallbearers were Lee Dollarhide, Jeff Dozier, Rick Littlefield, Mark Morris, Eddie Rose, Robert Spychalski, Mark Wall and Eddie Wyant. Honorary pallbearers were his many, many other friends and acquaintances.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church Building Fund, c/o Betty Rowe, PO Box 450151, Grove, Okla. 74345.

Alta F. Lemons
March 7, 1932-Nov. 27, 2006
Alta F. Lemons, daughter of the late Coy and Naomi (Jones) Six, was born on March 7, 1932, in Wheaton, Mo. She departed this life on Monday, Nov. 27, 2006, at her home in the Anderson Guest House in Anderson, Mo., at the age of 74.
Alta was a lifelong area resident, residing the last 18 years in Anderson. She was united in marriage to Charles Lemons on Dec. 7, 1959, and to this union one daughter and three sons were born. She enjoyed craft projects, was a talented seamstress, and loved being a mother.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Lemons; a son, Charles Edward Lemons; a brother, Leon Six; and two sisters, Mary and Nina.
Alta is survived by a daughter, Judy Lemons, of Anderson, Mo.; two sons, Jerry and Billy Lemons both of Anderson, Mo.; a grandson, Robert Thomas Lemons; two brothers, Claude Six of the state of Oregon City, Ore. He departed this life on Monday, Nov. 27, 2006, as a result of a fire at the Anderson Guest House in Anderson, Mo., where he worked as a caregiver.
Glenn was born in Oregon City, Ore., and at the age of six moved with his family to McDonald County, Mo. He was united in marriage to Amanda Mathews on Feb. 4, 2005. For the last year and a half, Glenn worked as a caregiver at the Anderson Guest House. He was a gifted mechanic and enjoyed spending time under the hood. He also enjoyed fishing, playing his guitar, and spending time with his countless friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Glenn Edward Taff; his maternal great-grandmother, Anna Luvica Copley; three uncles, Eddie Taff, Marty Ray Taff and Laren Mardis; and a cousin, Joshua Taff.
Glenn is survived by his wife, Amanda Taff of the home; his parents, Glenn and Terena Taff; a brother, Marty Taff; two sisters, Fronnie Bennett and husband, John, and Melissa Taff, all of Anderson, Mo.; maternal grandparents, Eileen Mardis of Anderson, Mo., and Jack Mardis of La Grande, Ore.; paternal grandmother, Fronnie Lee Hampton of Jay, Okla.; two nephews, Tyler Mathews and Roman Bennett; a niece, Athena Bennett all of Anderson, Mo.; his mother- and father-in-law, Floyd Mathews of Anderson, Mo., and Tina Sherman of Neosho, Mo.; three brothers-in-law, Michael Mathews and wife, Jennifer, Jeffry Mathews and Jay Mathews, all of Anderson, Mo.; several aunts and uncles; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Graveside funeral services for Glenn Edward Taff were 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, 2006, in the New Bethel Cemetery in Anderson, Mo., with Pastor David Munoz officiating. Those honoring his life by serving as pallbearers were David Mathews, Michael Mathews, Matt Myers, Marty Taff, Jason Williams and Chris Cantrell. The family received friends on Thursday from 5 until 7 p.m. in the Ozark Funeral Home Chapel in Anderson, Mo.
