NATHAN WEINER
Nathan Weiner, 69, of Lee’s Summit, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2005, at Lee’s Summit Hospital. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Friday, March 4, at Langsford Funeral Home; burial at the Lee’s Summit Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Rachel House, 320 N.E. Tudor Road, Lee’s Summit, MO 64086.
Mr. Weiner was born Aug. 19, 1935, in Cincinnati, Georgia Mae Weiner; and his father, Gabriel Weiner.
He is survived by is wife of 31 years, Jean Weiner; children, Debbie Vinson, Amelia, Calif., Richard Weiner, St. Peters, Mo., Natalie Curp, Missouri, including Excelsior Springs, Liberty, Gladstone and Lee’s Summit. He was a member of First Baptist Church located in Excelsior Springs for the past year, and was a long-time member of the Raintree Community Church in Lee’s Summit.
He was a loving son and brother, a caring neighbor, a scout, an avid church member, was involved in various church groups, including the Pioneers, the AWANAs and Promise Keepers, was regularly involved in helping the children’s ministry throughout his lifetime, and a devoted friend. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and everyone blessed to know him.

ROSEMARY BOSTICK
Rosemary Bostick, 77, of Lee’s Summit passed away Sunday, May 15, 2005 at Lee’s Summit Hospital. Graveside services are private, cremation. Mrs. Bostick was born Aug. 25, 1927 in Farley, Mo.
Rosemary was a lifelong member of the Hillsboro Christian Church in Platte City, Mo.
She was a graduate of Platte County High School and worked for the U.S. Department of Agriculture and retired in September 1989.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond Bostick of Lee’s Summit; two sons, Michael and John Bostick of Lee’s Summit; two brothers, Donald Porter of Weston, Mo., and Lloyd Porter of Kansas City, Kan.; and four grandchildren.

BENJAMIN JOHN BRUMMEL
Benjamin John Brummel, born April 25, 1982, departed this life Aug. 24, 2005. He lived his life with integrity and heart and loyalty for family and friends.
Funeral services are 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, at Our Lady of the Presentation Church in Lee’s Summit, with burial in Floral Hills East. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, at Langsford Funeral Home, with Rosary to be said at 7:30 p.m.
Our son, our brother, our grandson, our nephew, our cousin and our friend, we love you always and forever.
Benjamin is survived by his father, Phillip Brummel and his wife, Susan Forward; his mother, Rachelle Brummel, and her husband, Stephen Harper; six brothers and sisters, Adam Brummel, Kristen Brummel, Danny Brummel, Kathryn Kunish, Amanda Kunish and Daniel Harper; his grandparents, Dick and Mary Brummel and Robert and Norma Wynn; many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends and his beloved dog, Kevin Jenkins.
Weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning. Sing to the Lord.
Memorial contributions may be made to Missouri State University in Warrensburg.
On June 22, 1941, she married Jacob Milford Cunningham in Holden. During World War II, they lived in Oklahoma and Green wood, Mo.; two daughters, Judith Cunningham of Columbia, Mo.; and Jane Rutherford and husband, Robert, of Lee’s Summit; one sister, Blanche Stahl of Lee’s Summit; and four grandchildren, Wes Walker of Des Moines, Green wood, Mo.; Lauren Cunningham of Phoenix, Ariz.; and Adam Rutherford of Lee’s Summit.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, two sisters, Mattie Raber and Wilma Reid, and two brothers, Beauford Brown and W.J. Brown.

LEO P. GRANT
Leo P. Grant, 92, of Carrollton, Mo., passed away Monday, Aug. 22, 2005, at Carroll County Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services were Thursday, Aug. 25, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Carrollton, with Rev. Ken Criqui officiating. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Carrollton.
The family suggests contributions be made to St. Mary’s Cemetery or H.E.L.P. Services Cancer Fund in memory of Mr. Grant. They may be left at or mailed to Gibson Funeral Home, 201 S. Main, Carrollton, MO 64633.
He was born Nov. 4, 1912, in Carrollton, the son of Thomas and Ella Dolan Grant. He attended St. Mary’s Catholic Grade School and Carrollton High School. He was a farmer his entire life and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Carrollton and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
On June 25, 1938, he married Wilda E. Benjamin in Norborne, Mo. She preceded him in death on June 26, 1988.
Leo is survived by three children, Richard Grant and Catherine Bickel, both of Carrollton, and Steve Grant of Lee’s Summit; two sisters, Elizabeth Miller of Carrollton; Ruth Peppers of Corder, Mo.; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
In addition to his wife, Wilda, his parents, one daughter, Virginia Woolf, and two grandchildren also preceded him in death.
